NR’s Rich Lowry: ‘Word has gotten out that we are not serious about immigration enforcement’

National Review’s Rich Lowry laid out exactly why the “humanitarian crisis” is unfolding at our southern border: because this administration has allowed the rule of law to go by the wayside and ignored immigration enforcement for too long.

Ron Fournier gives the more compassionate view about many of the kids turning up at our border, but Lowry has the exactly right response. You can have all the compassion you want, but there has to be a “limiting principle” to our national policies, or we’ll end up being foster parents to the entire world.
