He can’t even do one vigil without making it political, basically announcing an agenda to go after the 2nd amendment. He even created a straw man, asking “Are we prepared to say that such violence visited on our children year after year after year is somehow the price of our freedom?”

Watch below:

Can we say that we’re truly doing enough to give all the children of this country the chance they deserve to live out their lives in happiness and with purpose?

I’ve been reflecting on this the last few days, and if we’re honest with ourselves, the answer’s no. We’re not doing enough. And we will have to change. Since I’ve been president, this is the fourth time we have come together to comfort a grieving community torn apart by mass shootings, fourth time we’ve hugged survivors, the fourth time we’ve consoled the families of victims.

And in between, there have been an endless series of deadly shootings across the country, almost daily reports of victims, many of them children, in small towns and in big cities all across America, victims whose — much of the time their only fault was being at the wrong place at the wrong time.

We can’t tolerate this anymore. These tragedies must end. And to end them, we must change.

We will be told that the causes of such violence are complex, and that is true. No single law, no set of laws can eliminate evil from the world or prevent every senseless act of violence in our society, but that can’t be an excuse for inaction. Surely we can do better than this.

If there’s even one step we can take to save another child or another parent or another town from the grief that’s visited Tucson and Aurora and Oak Creek and Newtown and communities from Columbine to Blacksburg before that, then surely we have an obligation to try.

In the coming weeks, I’ll use whatever power this office holds to engage my fellow citizens, from law enforcement, to mental health professionals, to parents and educators, in an effort aimed at preventing more tragedies like this, because what choice do we have? We can’t accept events like this as routine.

Are we really prepared to say that we’re powerless in the face of such carnage, that the politics are too hard?

Are we prepared to say that such violence visited on our children year after year after year is somehow the price of our freedom?

From the guy who gave guns to Mexican drug cartels.

    PURE. EVIL.

    • sDee

Looks like they are starting a narrative that we must pay for freedom by restricting it.

Holder used the same line about “Freedom” today, to which Daniel Greenfield responded as you have.

“Please, by all means, let’s have a discussion about how the Second Amendment can be used in a responsible way from a man who ran a gun candy store for Mexican drug lords.

The only thing that we need more than a serious discussion about race from the New Black Panther Party’s advocate who called us a “Nation of Cowards”, is for some “hard questions” about the right to bear arms from a man who killed thousands as a ploy to sabotage that right.

But by all means, let’s ask some serious and responsible questions about guns. Such as why there were no armed personnel in a school, after countless school shootings.

How about asking what the point of a gun-free zone is when that gun-free zone means that everyone inside is disarmed?

And here’s a relevant question, what is the point of background checks when the school shooter was able to get guns through his mother despite being a, “headcase”?

But by all means, let’s have a serious discussion about why the states with the highest rate of gun ownership have the lowest rate of gun violence.

I think his comments involved much more than gun control. He talked about (as I saw it) how we owe it to our children to keep them safe, and to make sure they have everything they need to succeed in life. I can see it coming: we need more money “invested” in education, and we need more stimulus funds to make sure the states can keep more teachers in the classrooms. We also need to do something about the student loan program because, after all, they are our children and we owe them that much. I just hope in his kingly decrees he at least has the class NOT to invoke the memory of the Newtown tragedy.

WTH… And the MSM, including 60 Minutes, deafening silence.

      • Orangeone

Why does this whole thing feel like an intentional part of Barky’s plan to disarm America??? He is connected to the kid’s dad through Jeffrey Immelt.

        • sDee

Little happens per chance in this regime.

Remember…… the next step in Fast & Furious was to horrify the public into supporting the UN Small Arms Treaty by spilling American blood with the guns that flowed to Mexican drug cartel via legitimate licensed gun shops.

We are living under some very sick and evil people.

          • Orangeone

So true!  And I believe that men don’t talk about guns that walk from Benghazi to Syria via Turkey. It’s no coincidence the meeting with the Turkey liaison happened in Benghazi, no coincidence that he left a short time before the massacre, no coincidence that Barky is putting our troops on the ground there without Congressional approval and will subject them to chemical warfare.  I also read on Twitter that he has sent 5,000 troops back to Iraq.  So much for the war is over and everyone is coming home.

            • SineWaveII

You got it. Don’t forget Obama is about the ‘real life narrative’ and nothing is beneath him…put those two things together and draw your own conclusions.

It’s too bad Obama isn’t telling the whole truth either. He’s omitting the fact He and his administration quietly eliminated school emergency preparedness programs and let school violence prevention programs lapse. Wouldn’t these be some of those things we need to do to keep our children safe yet….?

Since Columbine: about 30% of shootings happen at schools.

Total people killed in mass shootings: 267

True. But when speak through an American leader/failure it’s difficult to view.

    • SineWaveII

Didn’t he mean ‘the Koran tell’s us’? Must have been an oversight.

      • Orangeone

The Koran he plans to use at the secret swearing in, no witnesses and no camera.

        • sDee

Surreal. What’s Hussein got on Roberts?

          • Orangeone

If I could get access to the records, I’d like to trace the money….

        • Nukeman60

I’ll be curious to see if the public swearing in is botched again like it was the last time. That will tell a lot. Then again, he doesn’t care who knows now. There is no reelection to worry about.

          • Orangeone

From what I’ve read, the ceremony is going to be done in private, only the multi-million dollar parties will be public.

            • Nukeman60

Really? I hadn’t heard that. And no one’s complaining about it? Is there any precedence with this?

              • Orangeone

It’s been all over Twitter but haven’t heard anything anywhere else. And his buddy Roberts is doing the swearing in.  Precedence?  What the heck does that have to do with his highness????? LOL

                • Nukeman60

Yeah, I guess they don’t have to flub the ceremony if they don’t make it public. It angers me but doesn’t surprise me. People should be asking why the most important ceremony in our national narrative is going to be secret. But they won’t. The least transparent administration in our history.

                • Orangeone

People should be outraged at the cost of his “celebration”, their vacations ($1.4 billion last year), out of control spending, arming radical jihad islamists, politicing over flag draped coffins, children just murdered, etc. but this is a gimme generation raised by a gimme generation and he is the king of giving others people’s money to his gimme followers.  Notice the “outrage” in the south side of Chicago suddenly went quiet after the election. They pulled the lever for him again.

              • http://no-apologies-round2.blogspot.com/ AmericanborninCanada

I read the same Nuke. There will be a private swearing in on the 20th at the White House. Something about conflict of Inauguration day being on a Sunday- like dear leader could care about that! There will be a public swearing in on the 21st. So, he can swear to allah before he swears on the Bible in public the next day.

                • Nukeman60

So I’m curious. Last time, he had to do a private ceremony because they flubbed the public one and technically he never swore in. Does swearing in privately first mean that the public one can be said properly and not be official? Or does he have to flub it again anyway?

                • SineWaveII

It’s all very strange is it not?

                • Nukeman60

                  Curious, at the very least.

                • http://no-apologies-round2.blogspot.com/ AmericanborninCanada

I do believe that the second one will just be for show for his sheep. That way they can see their messiah swear on the Bible and believe he really is their christ. Oh man it makes me sick to think of it.

            • jaym68

Yep, and he’s set to match Franklin Roosevelt’s record of being sworn in four times.

      • badbadlibs

        Good point.

  • hbnolikeee

    Such a crock of crap.

So, let see if that same nut didn’t have a gun and waited until the end of the day when all the children were let out of school and drove his car at 50 mph into the crowd, we’d be talking about the need to outlaw cars.

I’m sorry- I just can’t watch. He does the same thing with every thing. The memorial service for those who died in Arizona was like a freaking campaign rally. I just can’t watch it.
However, for his question: “Are we prepared to say that such violence visited on our children year after year after year is somehow the price of our freedom?”

You know what dear leader? The violence which has been visited on our children comes from such things as taking God out of our schools, worshiping instead the created, and the false teaching of coexisting and multiculturalism. God has been replaced with allah, government, man and gaia.
Prayer and the 10 commandments have been replaced with sensitivity training and political correctedness.
Long gone are the families of Leave it to Beaver, the morals and ethics of classics like Father Knows Best and replaced with a dufus dad in the Simpsons, 2 and a half men and so called reality tv. Gone is music of substance and replaced with gangsta crap.
Gone is learning about Creation, in comes teaching them they come from slime and are no more than animals.
Abortion is taught to be a perfectly acceptable option when one is “punished” with a baby. Sex is taught earlier and earlier- so there goes any idea of self respect or respect for future spouses. Oh, and I guess I can’t say the word “spouse” anymore either.
They see cheating and coveting from our government, and don’t learn how wrong it is until they are caught for stealing. They’ve been taught that government is god, and their rights come from bureaucracy instead of our Creator.

No dear leader. Guns in the hands of law abiding citizens are NOT the problem. Our society is sick because God is not allowed and no amount of band aids can cure the cancer that secularism has wrought.

But you and the others in our government will keep on pretending, because you’re all the same- having the same godless, humanist communist visions of a utopia that in reality is hell on earth.

My guns have never committed violence on anyone, especially children. Your policies have done more damage to children than any gun- so stuff your hypocritical political speech. It’s pathetic and evil, and I’ll have no more of it.

The Great Pretender and Deceiver has spoken, don’t you know? Mr Know-it-all (not) who is President by voter fraud, and aspires to become America’s first Dictator. The man who sanctions late term abortions to the very last minute, and the killing of aborted survivors, is telling us how he is concerned about our children. He says “something must be done”. If a security guard had been at the Newtown school, would his solution be to disarm the guard? Self control to be replaced by Obama control. The Ten Commandments to be replaced by a multitude of Obama commandments. A person who says he’s a Christian, yet has Catholic universities cover crosses before he addresses the student body with his deceitful oratory.
2013 promises to become the beginning of hell on earth with his pushing of the U.N.s “Agenda 21″, already begun in every aspect of our daily lives. His own agenda is to destroy America and leave us vulnerable to our enemies.
Imagine a world with an ineffective, powerless U.S.A. That’s part of the New World Order conspiracy. Remember his words to the Rissian Prime Minister? “I will be able to be more flexible when I am re-elected” How many times did CNN televise THAT little meeting? Zero.
The age of communication? No way. It’s the age of selective communication, and much of it false. Indoctrinate the masses, starting in our schools….kindergarten too.
Individual prayer is the answer. No one can take that power away from each of us. There IS power in prayer, as we have seen so often in healing examples.
Some of us remember the times when we didn’t need electronic surveillance in our streets, stores, homes and churches. Doors did not need to be locked during regular hours.
I see the Book of Revelation unfolding before my eyes, more and more every week. Nothing ever stays the same. One day, Jesus Christ will rule the earth, and everyone will be Christian. Remember what he said; “Do not be afraid. These things must happen before the Son of Man returns in glory”. “Endure to the end”.

      • http://no-apologies-round2.blogspot.com/ AmericanborninCanada

I haven’t called him dear leader for the past 5 years for nothing. I agree. I’m looking up more and more these days. Jesus told us what to look for, and we’re seeing them.

  • Nukeman60

Can anyone tell me what was up with his curtain call after his speech? I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before in a memorial. I’m not surprised (after all, it is Obama), but a little reserved dignity would have been in order here, I think.

    • http://no-apologies-round2.blogspot.com/ AmericanborninCanada

Oh come now Nukefriend. Reserved? Dignity? Oy. You know what I’m sayin’. ((()))s

      • Nukeman60

Yeah, unfortunately I do. The liberals jump all over us for not trusting Obama (when he has never been shown to be trustworthy), but I’m not about to back away now. The battle has just begun.

Obama thinks he got a mandate with this last election and all he really got was deeper in the weeds. If I may twist the immortal words of John Paul Jones just a tad – “We have just begun to fight”.

        • Orangeone

And I shall be even more prepared tomorrow! Lock and load!

        • http://no-apologies-round2.blogspot.com/ AmericanborninCanada

Amen. I like John Paul Jones’ other words too: I wish to have no connection with any ship that does not sail fast; for I intend to go in harm’s way.

          • Nukeman60

I like that line. Unfortunately, many of us will have to stand in harm’s way. But there is no better cause to do it for than freedom. Obama is going to realize that he has fewer sheeple than he thought he had.

            • Orangeone

But we will stand together and a solid like of freedom-loving conservatives will send a very, very loud message to those who worship the tyrant!

Under no circumstances can we back down onthis and turn in our Firearms. He’s shipping weapons to every islamist tyrant i n the world to further the caliphate and enslave the world in a marxist/islamist nightmare and that is exactly what he has planned for us if he get’s our Firearms.

The site “lame Cherry” ( A site i can’t recommend to everyone because of it’s sometimes Obscene content ) said approximately one week ago “That Anti-Firearms legislation” was going to be the top priority for early 2013,with Boehner caving by design ( I’m Paraphrasing ). I fully expect that to happen, believe that Obama will issue a decree if he can’t get his legislation, before he leaves for Hawaii this month.

I am convinced that the school shooting along with Aurora,Colorado and the Sikh Temple in Wisconsin, were “False Flag” attacks created to generate support for an Assault Weapons Ban. I believe Obama and the dems along with the collaborating and complicit repubs, are pure satanic Evil and after watching the deliberate carnage he and his Gestapo’s created with “Fast and Furious” and the middle east in benghazi and syria,i think the death and destruction he would reek on this Country if he was able to Enslave us by getting our Firearms would be magnified by a Million times literally.

I also expect him to use these same type of “False Flag” attacks after some one criticizes islam, as a reason to sign an Executive Order Banning anti-islamic speech. This is one of the few times since obama has been in office, that we have thge power to say NO and back it up with some “Teeth” behind it. Refuse to turn in any of your Firearms…Any of them!

              • http://no-apologies-round2.blogspot.com/ AmericanborninCanada

Firearms are second only to the Constitution in importance; they are the peoples’ liberty’s teeth.
                George Washington

        • mark1955

He gave himself a “Mandate” with a stolen election.

    • Orangeone

He has to feed the ego, too little publicity and attention lately since his campaigning is on hiatus for a month or so. Is he sooo concerned about school safety that the $4m of public funds for his HI vacation will be used for school safety instead? Thought not.

      • SineWaveII

        “On hiatus”? When was that?

        • Orangeone

Since shortly after Nov 6th :)  sorry, trying to joke about his lack of campaigning but I know he still is, was in MI on Monday trying to rile up the thugs to take on the legislature and governor.

    • jaym68

Reserved dignity? From the guy who, in shockingly lighthearted style, offered five minutes of useless drivel and a “shout-out” to Dr. Joe Medicine Crow before finally addressing the atrocity at Fort Hood that had just occurred? You mean that guy?
Or maybe the guy who allowed the Arizona memorial service where innocent people had just died to devolve into a “Pep-Rally.” Or maybe the guy that… Nevermind – too many awful stories – and it’s all the same guy.

      • Nukeman60

Yeah, I know. I was just drawing attention to his absurdities and showing a comparison between him and normal, decent human beings. Then again, normal, decent human beings don’t have the number 666 tattooed behind their right ear.

        • jaym68

The real question is – if these endless ‘absurdities’ are so readily apparent to anyone with eyes to see, then why are millions of Americans so blind to it all? He wipes his eye and they all swear he was crying, but there were no tears… none which all of us with eyes to see noted without any doubt… Did he ‘cry’ again tonight? I’m like ABiC, I just couldn’t watch it.

Love it, El D1ldo…tops Barky Boy

  • ron8072

We do need change. We need a conservative, Traditional American, to fill our seat in the White House. Not a poser. We have the choice of going after the problem and not demonizing the law abiding citizens abiding the Constitutional guaranteed right of carrying a weapon concealed in order to protect them from not only evil-doers, but the government! Remember a gun-toting American is not a subject of a Tyrannical leader! Americans with a gun will not allow a government to take their weapons! Count on it! Pray about it! Prepare for it! Keep your powder dry. It will be necessary soon.

    • Orangeone

I predict the price of Smith & Wesson shares is going to skyrocket tomorrow! I also expect to see gun sales spike even higher than at the time of the election. I know I’m visiting the gun store tomorrow for more ammo and another firearm.

      • sDee

I bought another semi automatic rifle Friday night along with all the extra magazines they had.

        • Orangeone

I’m a semiautomatic handgun lover actually.  I too have extra magazines for current one, loaded and ready and will do the same for the one I buy tomorrow.

          • sDee

5 Guns to buy before a potential ban

    • SineWaveII

The thing that disgusts me is that we aren’t even that violent. That’s why the news media has to be make a big deal about every shooting. Because the number of murders and deaths by gun in the US has been in decline over all and we’re one of the least violent countries on the planet. So none of this is called for.

  • http://www.facebook.com/beme1x49 Veronica White Gates

Yes a back ground check, also when these people go to get such guns and bombs call the police and let them know who just came in there store and get the police to check them out too. This would also keep a lot of the killings down too

    • sDee

Are you suggesting that stores call the police to investigate a citizen who comes in to buy a gun?

      • SineWaveII

If they fail the background check? Absolutely

        • sDee

That is not the job of a gun retailer or FFL holder. If a buyer fails the background check, the FBI already knows who it is and exactly where they are standing at that very moment.

    • http://no-apologies-round2.blogspot.com/ AmericanborninCanada

There are already back ground checks and other laws on the books. Laws don’t mean anything to criminals who want to get guns. The only thing that keep killings down is change of individual hearts and armed law abiding citizens.

    • Orangeone

Maybe they could track the serial numbers and the weapons with GPS like they did in Fast and Furious and lose them when the batteries die.

    • Orangeone

There is a mandatory waiting period. My permit to purchase took 10 days so the background check could be run. I nearly had to give up my first unborn child with the paperwork. And there was another one run when I did the actual purchase and wasn’t aloud to even handle the gun until that was finished.

      • sDee

Long gun checks are done on the spot – for now.

        • Orangeone

Did not know that.  I guess that makes sense, my permit is handgun.

  • Wigglesworth

I changed over to CNBC as soon as Al Michaels made the announcement. I didn’t want to hear a single word from this fraud politicizing another tragedy at a memorial service.

  • Larchmonter

The mother was whacko and the kid was mentally off for years. She allowed him to live in a world of violent video games, isolated with her paranoia, training with her guns, and Obama says it all our fault and the real blame is on GUNS.

    Please, deliver us from temptation.

America is a land of violence throughout its history. The reason is it has been a land of free will and the rule of law. When free people do wrong, they pay the price. That is our system. It isn’t supposed to be perfect nor can it be safe all the time.

What we do know about every one of these mass killings in public places is that except for the terrorists, they each were committed by psychos, young men with deep psychotic problems.

So, the topic of the day must be mental health programs for the sick of mind.

We owe that to our children and to our society.

And we don’t have to confiscate any guns or ban ownership of weapons.

Every one of these incidents was predictable when you learn the facts of the lives of these psychotic people.

    • Orangeone

And all of them in Barky Boy’s voter bloc. What impact did his constant rhetoric and violent ranting have on these disturbed young men? How much rap crap did they listen to?

  • herb benty

Obama says that because of this horrible tragedy….we( law abiding citizens), have to change. He will sumarily reject a weapon in every school office of course; an action that would mean NO KIDS DIE. Marxists have tried to disarm Americans and Canadians for a long time, please note that China is rooting for Obama to take your weapons! Lets face it, the idea is to make North America defenceless useing these mind-numbing, sad beyond belief events. Marxists hate a free, independant people. And please do not be mad at me for mentioning these FACTS, as the left has already politisized this travesty beyond what I just said

            • Marridge

Are you getting the 9 mm or the .40?

              • Orangeone

I want to try each. The range I shoot at has ladies night and gun rental is free :)  My detective friend recommends .40, I lean 9 mm, small hands.

                • sDee

FMJ 9mm cartridges are relatively cheap and plentiful, which allow us to spend more time shooting. More time shooting, builds our skill and confidence with the pistols.

The stopping power is an endless debate but there are some serious hollowpoint and soft point loads in 9mm. I am more concerned about hitting my target than what I hit it with. The 9mm is an easy gun to shoot and the cheap cartridges mean more range time.

                • Orangeone

Great info on the 9mm, thank you.  I have a nice Ruger .22.  I didn’t know this but the majority of law enforcement deaths are because of .22 caliber.  9mm is recommended in winter to get through the extra layers!
Practice, practice, practice agreed!  A new range just opened 15 minutes from my house and I’ll be there tomorrow :)

                • tinlizzieowner

A 40 cal is a hand full. Actually 2 hands full. I’ve got a S&W model 29. The thing that Dirty Harry had in his hands when he said “Did I fire 6 shots or only 5″. It’s a 44 mag. It’s got quite a kick to it. ;-) ;-)

                • Orangeone

Yikes, no way I could handle that.  I have a nice Ruger but have been advised by experts (thanks MiketheMarine) to also have a 9mm for use in the winter (heavy clothing).  I just checked 18 week backup on the new S&W Shield so I’ll be looking for something else until they are available.

                • tinlizzieowner

The S&W is not my ‘carry to work’ weapon. I’ve got an H&R 32 cal revolver (full of flat points), for that. The object being to put a hole ‘in’ what I might be forced to defend myself against, not through it and the wall behind it.

                • Orangeone

Thankfully my carry to work is from one room in the house to my office in the house :)  Still training for conceal and carry, can’t wait to test!

  • white531

It is amazing. We are living a nightmare. This man is the Devil himself, and goes to bed each night, dreaming about the destruction of America, of which he is an active participant, and over half the people of this nation voted for him, twice, and think he’s doing a great job!

If that’s not a nightmare, then I don’t know what a nightmare is!

All, please join the NRA if you can afford it. Even if you don’t own a gun.

  • stage9

The problem is “us”. We are society. We are the culture. For God’s sake when are we going to stop looking for scapegoats and start realizing that WE ARE THE PROBLEM? If the culture is violent then it is our fault. If our children are dying then it’s because we have created an environment that contributes to that. When will we stop blaming politicians, guns, or someone else? WE ARE THAT “SOMEONE ELSE”! WE are responsible for our own culture.

If culture is failing, it’s because we’ve allowed it to fail. Noting happens in a vacuum. Our rejection of God and moral absolutes and our promotion of immorality and violence is finally catching up with us. That’s all this is. It’s our hens coming home to roost. We thrown God out of our society because His ways were too restrictive, but no one ever stopped to ask what in God’s name are we going to replace Him with? Is this our reward for unshackling ourselves from God’s moral laws? Is this our judgment for being fools?

It’s time to stop blaming someone or something else. It’s time to look inward. Because that’s where the problem lies. The problem is “us”.

“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” Jeremiah 17:9

    • Nukeman60

I agree with everything you say. Unfortunately, your post is like two car mechanics talking in the shop about the idiot down the road who never cares for their car until it has a total breakdown.

The mechanic can say, “yes it’s our fault for not keeping the car in good running order”, but it’s impossible to do as long as that idiot stays away from the shop.

Sheeple stop us from fixing this country and Obama knows it. That’s why he targets the sheeple every election, every speech, every time.

      • stage9

And that’s why judgment is coming to America. And that is why I believe America is finished. This is a sign of a nation in decline.

        • Nukeman60

And that’s where we come in. We cannot save this country the way it is. We all know it’s not sustainable. But we can rebuild it after the collapse. I thought that, if we had won this last election, we could turn it around. But now I think we need to be ready for the rebuilding process when the collapse finally happens. Many of us are already prepared.

    • sDee

You are exactly right with this! Made me go listen to Dave Harvey’s warning for the umpteenth time.

      • Nukeman60

clapping and cheering Stage9! You always say it just right!!

  • proudhispanicconservative

Let me remind this idiot at the white house what our second amendment says,
“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” the 2nd Amendment does not create a right. Rather, it recognizes a right with which we were “endowed by our Creator.” This specific portion of the amendment was referring to this specific moment, here we have a man determined to fundamentally transform america, in other words destroy this country economically, and in whichever way he can, and let me remind him that for him that for an amendment to be proposed or repealed, it requires two/thirds of both federal legislative bodies — House and Senate — to vote yes, two thirds in the House, and two thirds in the Senate. It also requires two/thirds of the state legislatures of the 50 states to vote in the affirmative. Maybe he thinks he is the supreme leader of the socialist states of America, I say to him, “come and get it”.
I would suggest that all of us join the NRA, so we can fight this.

    • Orangeone

Remember, he and his idiot followers think the Constitution is a living document. Living hell, it has survived more battles than any other nation’s has and it will survive the idiot in our White House!

  • capelady

Yes… Louie Gohmert has the right idea – ARM the principles and the teachings staff as they do in Israel so they can defend our children properly!!!

These attacks only take place where the shooters are sure there is nobody who will shoot back at them!

    • Orangeone

I like Louie Gohmert but disagree with his position on this issue. I’m not going into it on this thread, you can look on the NY Detective thread if you’d like my opinion.

We need to get the unions out of our schools! We need to bring God back into our schools (see ABinC’s post), students need to be taught to think for themselves not indoctrinated with progressive liberal hate for success, we need to toss iPods with rap crap on them into the trash, we need discipline, accountability and responsibility back in our curriculum, and by all means, students need to be literate (reading and financially) BEFORE they graduate high school. We need to move the bar back up or even higher than it was when we graduated high school, a true 8-hour school day including physical education and recess. Finally, we need the best and the brightest teachers not the union tenured ones that are lazier than the barnyard dog.

Enough of the liberals (and Barky Boy) saying too many minority students are disciplined in school and making it about race. It’s because of the home environment, divorce, single parents, parents deciding they are really homosexual or the wrong gender (what impact is that having on kids????)

  • Army_Pilot1967

Now all honest, law abiding citizens that don’t already own a handgun will rush out to buy one or more before obama ignores the Constitution and jams some crap law down on us.

    • Marridge

And while you are at it, get plenty of ammo because they are going to either restrict it or tax the heck out of it.

    • proudhispanicconservative

Anything he does will be fought, and ultimately defeated, any politician democrat, or republican that votes to damage our rights, will pay for it.

      • Marridge

I like the way you think ;-)

      • Orangeone

And they are already ramping up for 2014. I giggle every time someone tweets about the Democrats that oppose the medical device tax in ObamaCare. Yeah right, they all voted for it and now need to stage opposition for the 2014 re-election campaigns. Go after our 1st and 2nd Amendment rights, or any other of our rights and We The People will be sending ya packing.

  • white531

You and I understand this mess. We are not the problem. But you and I can talk about this, until we are blue in the face. It won’t change a thing. The fact that you and I understand each other, and talk to each other, isn’t worth spit.

This country has already gone over the top of the hill. We are now going down the other side. The Progressives and their lap dog media, are in absolute, full control. It took twenty years, but the fruit is on the vine.

Do you think there was any other way, that a person who was not born here, could achieve the highest office of the land? A Socialist, a Communist, a Fascist, a wannabe Dictator. Pick your favorite title. He is each of them, and all of them, on any given day.

We think of the origin of the Communist Party, as being Russia. Might surprise you, but that is not true. Communist Party originated in France.

The Socialist-Communist Union (French: Union socialiste-communiste, U.S.-C.), later renamed the Socialist-Communist Party (French: Parti socialiste-communiste), was a socialist political party in France between 1923 and 1932.

World history is pretty muddy on all of this, but the idea of productive people, working for the common good of those who are not productive, has apparently been around for some time. Whether French or Russian in origin, suffice it to say that it has been with us for some time.

And now we have it here in America. Strangely enough, at the hands of our own politicians we elected, to keep us free.

Our current population is a little north of 6.8 billion. Our Congress is made up of 535 people. These 535 people who represent us, along with an Idiot we call our President, and all the thousands of Bureaucrats who basically represent most of the corruption we call Washington, decide how the rest of us live.

Those of you, who are comfortable with Math, can look at that equation, and see the obvious problem. 535 people, plus a few thousand parasites, who are there just for the money, dictate how 6.8 BILLION PEOPLE LIVE!

If you think this is what the Founders had in mind, when they put this country together over two hundred years ago, then you’re smokin’ something really good.

And you know what? Over half the people of this country, have no problem whatsoever, with the scenario I just laid out for you.

    They voted for him twice.

    • proudhispanicconservative

My friend not all is lost, lets not forget that 58 million people voted against this guy, there were a lot of factors why we lost, and I am not going to get into that. The left thinks that this country is changing, and I say no, what happened was that still to this day the majority of the people that were on the fence blamed Bush for the terrible economy. While Obama won, we won big in state legislatures, and in govern-ships (30), and in my view these republican governors are who are going to be able to fight his policies, and I think we have to just weather the storm as much as we can, and let circumstances catch up with Obama, I believe that once is said and done,it is going to be so bad that we are going to have a depression, and Obama is not going to be able to blame Bush anymore. The best way to fight this is political guerrilla warfare, and prepare because the worst is yet to come.

Like most legal immigrants who come to this country, you bring with you, a rich perspective, that most Americans have long since lost.

I hope the contribution you, and those like you make, will make a difference, and turn the tide. I believe the energy of new people, who believe in Freedom, are absolutely necessary, to carry the dream forward, and keep Freedom itself, alive.

God bless you and your family.

        • proudhispanicconservative

Thank you for your kind words, God Bless you too my friend, I am just somebody that loves the idea of America, and would die to defend it, with my last breath. When I think of the soldiers that at this moment are somewhere in the world, fighting for me and for all of us, to me this is nothing.

          • white531

proudhispanic, America has never been more than an idea. That’s all it is. Once people stop believing in that idea, is the day it ceases to exist. I wish more people looked at it, with that frame of mind.

There has never been anything so fragile, as the idea of Freedom. Because there are so many people against it. I have no idea why.

Amen!!! You make me cry myproudhispanicconservativefriend. I am SO with you in this spirit! What we fight here is SO important- because of those who are fighting for us over God knows where, we MUST fight to hold on to this for THEM! I will give my life for my country if it’s required. There is nothing else worth fighting for, if not to keep the freest country free, and to keep it a beacon of freedom for those like us who came here!! To fight to preserve what our Founders left us.
Oy, I am in a fighting mood still.

And let us all remember, Lt. Col. Allen West will be free of his Congressional leashes very, very soon and loves this country. He is a natural-born citizen (intentional Barky Boy slam inserted for good measure) and leader. He knows his calling and will lead the charge along with millions of other veterans that took an oath to defend this country against enemies foreign and DOMESTIC. Those of us born to military men and women who have passed will carry on their legacy proudly!

“If there’s even one step we can take to save another child or another parent or another town from the grief that’s visited Tucson and Aurora and Oak Creek and Newtown and communities from Columbine to Blacksburg before that, then surely we have an obligation to try.”
The first step is to resign the presidency and sweep all of the mindless liberal/progressives out of the public policy arena.
The second step is to repeal the inane scotus interpretation of the first amendment religious liberty decision and put God back in the public square.

Newtown carnage: Blame church, not God or guns
    http://www.wnd.com/2012/12/newtown-carnage-blame-church-not-god-or-guns/

“Brethren, our preaching will bear its legitimate fruits. If immorality prevails in the land, the fault is ours in a great degree. If there is a decay of conscience, the pulpit is responsible for it. If the public press lacks moral discrimination, the pulpit is responsible for it. If the church is degenerate and worldly, the pulpit is responsible for it. If the world loses its interest in religion, the pulpit is responsible for it. If Satan rules in our halls of legislation, the pulpit is responsible for it. If our politics become so corrupt that the very foundations of our government are ready to fall away, the pulpit is responsible for it. Let us not ignore this fact, my dear brethren; but let us lay it to heart, and be thoroughly awake to our responsibility in respect to the morals of this nation.” — Charles Finney, Revivalist of the Second Great Awakening (The Christian Treasury Containing Contributions from Ministers and Members of Various Evangelical Denominations (Edinburgh: Johnstone, Hunter and Co., 1877), p. 203.)

Does the 4th time include the 4 Americans murdered in Benghazi because you, Barky Boy, gave the order to StandDown while you watching them be slaughtered and then lied to the American public and those families about the video being the reason? Or is that the 5th one??? What about the Ft. Hood massacre? Oh right, you didn’t console anyone but the moooslim terrorist did you. Or how about Brian Terry’s murder and Jamie Zapata’s murder with your Fast and Furious gun running scheme to Mexican drug cartels? Those don’t count either do they Barky?

  • magi52

Even funnier, Lo@K at the PRICE we are NOW paying for our freedom: RESTRICTIONS, being frisked by the TSA, Restrictions on what we can carry in certain areas, giving PHOTO ID to enter areas (weird it is a violation of your right to be IDd to vote!) like a DEMONCRATIC Rally or the DNC.

WE ARE PAYING OUTRAGEOUS prices already for our Freedom and they are increasing every day!

    • jaym68

No, no, not for Freedom… this is the price that we are all paying for (the illusion of) ‘Security’, but we are less secure today than ever before.

Yet Obama, the WH, his administration are protected by hired guns paid for by the TAXPAYERS! LOL!

And this man wants to deny us the same protect that has to be by self because we can NOT afford to pay others to protect us.

Makes a lot of common sense…

    NOT!

    • Orangeone

I said this on the other threads yesterday. Time for the Secret Service that protects Barky, his family, admin, etc. to be disarmed. Let’s see how that works out first before guns are taken from citizens.

      • sDee

The political class always provides that they will never have to surrender their guns nor those of their hired body guards. Same as their exception to Obamacare.

Some animals are more equal that others.

“This year will go down in history. For the first time, a civilized nation has full gun registration. Our streets will be safer, our police more efficient and the world will follow our lead into the future.” Adolf Hitler, 1935

When only the police / govt. has guns, it’s a Police State.

Guns don’t kill people, people kill people. Guns are a tool, and tools can be anything when people of unsound minds, be they politically motivated, mentally disturbed, emotionally unbalanced, evil, are determined to do their deeds. Criminals do not care about obeying the law, that’s why they are criminals.. Believing that taking guns from law abiding citizens, allows criminals to be armed only, is the truly absurd. But such is the mentality / dumb@$$ mindnumbing thinking of liberals. That’s why they’re liberals.

Liberals always use a crisis to advance their agenda / assault against We the People’s Rights, Freedoms, and Liberties, via undermining and diluting, if not directly overturning, the U.S. Constitution and it’s Bill of Rights.

  • Howzah123

The reactionary collectivist authoritarians are blaming the NRA more than Adam Lanza

It’s a disgusting display of fake outrage to push a political agenda. Par for the course when it comes to the Socialists/Marxist/Collectivist Authoritarians on the Left

  • GetWhatYouPayFor

When the Devil said a child needs our protection from the time of their first cry, I knew he didn’t mean those who cry as a result of a botched abortion. He votes to kill those “little angels”. Yes, he is the Devil.

  • Lippenheimer

Yeah, like new gun-control laws could make up for the negligence and stupidity of the Newtown killer’s mother. If any one “thing/agency/person” was responsible for the atrocity (aside from the shooter himself), it was the mother of this “disturbed” youngster who used mom’s own unsecured weapons to commit unspeakable horror on all those beautiful, innocent and mature, human beings.

Look, Barry, there is NO WAY you will ever disarm the American people. So spare us the politicking. We need to look to the needs of the victims and their loved ones and leave your statist agenda out of it. We KNOW that it is not guns that kill people, but, rather, criminals, psychopaths, and insane people who employ them to visit Evil on the world.

Gun ownership should not be attacked. Rather, it should, if anything, be encouraged and subsidized.

Put a bounty on the varmints, and leave the Good People to deal with them as they deserve.

This story is starting to grow…. coincidence??
Both fathers of the shooters (Aurora & CT)were allegedly expected to testify in the Libor scandal that rocked the banking world in June.
The LIBOR scandal is a massive, worldwide network of banks, the Federal Reserve and highly position individuals such as Tim Geihtner and Ben Bernanke that are being accused of manipulating LIBOR rates to gain better market positions. Just some of the Banks involved are: the Canadian branches of the Royal Bank of Scotland, HSBC, Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan Bank, and Citibank, as well as ICAP (Intercapital), an interdealer broker.[37 It also mentions Bank of America & Barclays. It is ugly to its roots and VERY powerful people are involved.

Just like he politicized the Gabby Gifford’s slaying in AZ. Another Epic Fail from the marxist mooslum.

    • NJK

He’s not just politicizing it, I believe he’s directly involved in all of the shootings. I think they’re desperate, and now targeting children. They want the guns out of our hands. This would give them total control over the population. OBAMA IS A COLD BLOODED MURDERER.

  • NCHokie02

of course allthe ant-gun people start asking why people need “assault rifles” because you don’t hunt with them and you don’t need them for protection. They are correct you don’t need an assault rifle for that. However, you do need them to protect against a government who has the same weapons. The military doesn’t go around with shotguns and hunting rifles. The 2d amendment is there to arm the people against the government, not to ensure their right to hunt or protect themselves.

  • 1endtimes2020

A security guard would not have let the gunman inside the school. The gunman would probably not even attempted to enter. Would Obama take the gun away from the security guard? That’s what he wants to do to every American—prevent them from defending themselves, even against 5 shots per second semi-automatic rifles. Control, control, control of the people in every aspect of their lives. That’s his goal. From President to Dictator. As America becomes more Godless, more government control needs to take the place of self control. As God is removed from schools, so is God’s protection. Too many Americans seem offended by including God is commentary. Yet, there was a time when school (and house) doors did not need locks, or special electronic security—or even security guards. I can’t imagine an America where only the bad guys have armaments, and a weakened military, and is vulnerable to stealth attacks by enemies within. Newtown is another example of this, except much worse.
This time, the children were very young. Mental illness will be blamed. How about looking into drugs as part of the problem. I suspect they had a big part in mind altering influences to be violent. Mental illness is not new, but most mentally ill people do not resort to violence. Obama is not qualified to ‘do something’ to solve the ever growing problems of an ever growing Godless society. He is part of the problem, as is most of the media.

    • NJK

I know people refer to this shooter as having a mental illness, but I believe somewhere behind the scenes, is Obama, Ayers, and the rest of their ilk. Remember these people, praised Charles Manson for the murders he committed. Ayers and Dohrn, called it cool.

I think they’re recruiting these people, as, sort of suicide martyrs. If they implicate them, people will just assume they’re crazy.

  • E. Lee Zimmerman

Only a genuinely demented, evil man would use the memorial ceremony for children for political gain. He’s truly a despicable coward that no longer deserves even our slightest consideration.

THEY STAGED FAST AND FURIOUS. HIS FRIEND AYERS, DOHRN, AND OTHERS, PROBABLY RECRUITED THE SHOOTER IN AZ. NOW, I BELIEVE THEY’RE SO DESPERATE FOR GUN CONTROL, THEY’RE TARGETING CHILDREN.

IF FAST AND FURIOUS DIDN’T WORK, WE’LL TRY THE AZ SHOOTING OF A JUDGE, CONGRESSWOMAN, AND OTHERS. IF THAT DIDN’T WORK, WE’LL HAVE TO USE CHILDREN AS COLLATERAL DAMAGE.

  • colliemum

Gun control – gun control – yeah, that’s working so very well in his home city, Chicago!

It’s not about gun control, Mr POS, it’s about the damage your socialist policies have done over the last fifty years to the most vulnerable: the mentally ill. Your friends at ACLU know exactly what they did and why, and so do the academics who have for years told everybody that mentally ill people must decide for themselves if they want to be treated, in the name of ‘liberty’. De-fund them and use the money to treat those ill people properly.

  • Shannon Collins

Aborted babies don’t have much of a future, either, Mr. President. A nation that kills babies in the womb can expect violence towards those outside the womb. Only the most arrogant of men could turn an event like this to his own political advantage.

They’ll do what they did in Britain, which is give everyone a certain period of time to hand all their weapons into the police for disposal, and then make it a crime to own a gun afterwards. They’ll then demagogue anyone with a gun as if they’re the same as a “common criminal”, rather than a rights-respecting liberty-loving civilian.
