The lovely and brilliant Dana Perino made the excellent point that much of the “wreckage of the world” as it stands today can be traced back to Obama setting out a “red line” to Assad, and then backing down repeatedly.

It really is amazing when you consider how much harm has been done to the world because of the Syrian problem. Syrian refugees are streaming into Europe with terrorist malefactors among them, while Assad strengthens his grip on Syria with shameless Russian and Iranian backing. And all because Obama wanted to spite George W. Bush and let Iraq fall into chaos in order to ruin his legacy. Now Obama faces the same from a populist Trump. I don’t really believe in Karma, but if I did this would be a pretty good “teachable moment.”
