Obama to supporters: Voting is the best revenge against Mitt Romney

Why on earth would Obama characterize voting against Romney as ‘revenge’? What has Romney done to these people? NOTHING. There are no victims of Romney here. If anything ‘revenge’ could be aimed at Obama because he’s president and has done way more harm than good. But then who calls it “revenge” anyway? Well, I guess the thug from Chicago does.

Sounds like hateful rhetoric to me and as John Nolte says, quite unpresidential.

Romney is getting ready to speak in Ohio. Love that Romney is so positive and upbeat; yet Obama is negative and deadbeat!

    • Rightstuff1

A small campaign, run by a small man, with a small brain but with a big toilet mouth from which gushes all kinds of crap….

Revenge? To quota Machiavelli, Revenge is a dish best served cold.
This advice is for the next President of the USA, Mitt Romney.

    • bobemakk

      AMEN TO THAT!!

    • SKL53

      And then there were three!!!!

  • WinMissouri

I agree with Scoop. Revenge! Where is the avenging for the deaths at Fort Hood, Benghazi etc. Clearly, he does not understand that revenge belongs to God alone.

    • Sober_Thinking

      Excellent statement… so true!

    • SKL53

We must pray God will come to our rescue on Tuesday…Amen!

  • GreenBeretWay

Did he just say don’t boo, vote? Or did he say Don’t vote for BO ?

I’m going with the second one.

    • MiketheMarine

Boo Radley, To kill a mockingbird? Or Boo Barack, To end a mistake?

      Both are best sellers.

      • GreenBeretWay

        Correct the 08 mistake.

      • I LOVE To Kill A Mockingbird. I’d take Boo over bo anyday.

        • MiketheMarine

I knew reading every book I could get my hands on would reflect well on me someday.

          • GreenBeretWay

            Including those boring field manuals.

            • MiketheMarine

Especially those boring assed things. They are the reason I managed to escape from supply admin. (BORING) and land in an armory which turned into small arms instructor. There must not be many Marines that can read, I don’t know.

Fact, most of the smartest people I’v ever known were Marines.

              • famouswolf

Well, ahem, being an ex-squid, I won’t even go there.

                • MiketheMarine

What is it you squids say about Marines? Oh yes, I remember.

“You can always tell a Marine, you just can’t him MUCH.”

                • famouswolf

                  And many other things.

Whatever brawling and arguing amongst ourselves, though, we would have been right there next to you if it came down to it. Hope you knew that.

                • Thank you for your service famouswolf. God Bless you.

                • hbnolikeee

I worked in IT for a former Marine for a few years. I learned then that there is no NO and no CAN’T and a lot more about good clear thinking.

              • GreenBeretWay

What did you edit out there Mike?

“Fact, most of the smartest people I’v ever known were Marines.”

            • RighteousCrow_JustCaws

Reminds me…my Dad was too young for WWI and too old for WWII but joined up as an intelligence officer [London/Scotland]. Got so frustrated he somehow commandeered a small plane and flew his own reconnaissance mission over France. Remained Army Reserve to Lt Col or full Col.

Anyway, he built our house in a remote canyon north of Los Angeles from an Army Technical Manual. He was a voracious self-student of politics and especially WWII. Always had minimum of 3 books next to the toilet: 1 fiction, 1 current Time Mag, and 1 non-fiction [e.g. complete works of Churchill].

              • MiketheMarine

And that is a continuing trait of our warriors. We tend to study warrior cultures which turns into poli sci, history and geography.

          • 😉

  • RageAgainstO

What a hateful, pathetic little man. Does any other president in history have so many photos of him scowling, growling, snarling, angry or flat out insane?

Revenge for WHAT??? Wanting to fix the mess??? For refusing to BACK DOWN???

        For being straight with Americans?…

        F. U. Mr. Goof in Chief…in 4 short days, you will receeve your White House Eviction NOTICE!….

        Can’t come soon enough!

        • Charles Morgan

Revenge is necessary against Romney for having the outlandish temerity to challenge “The Won.” It’s obvious what Obama meant.

    • famouswolf

He’s definitely nuttier than a Christmas fruit cake.

  • actionsspeaklouder

We knew his rhetoric would get sleazier and sleazier as time grew shorter and shorter. He has thanked Allah over and over again that Sandy has given him the opportunity to take political advantage of the situation and of the stricken. Sandy was just the crisis that he could exploit. Obama has absolutely no class, no morals, no ethics and no integrity. He and the media are working overtime to deflect from Benghazi.

I hope and pray every second that Americans will take THEIR REVENGE on Obama at the polls this coming Tuesday, November 6. We are taught that revenge is the Lord’s – but, in this case, I think he will understand.

I find it surreal how you characterized Obama… absolutely no class, no morals, no ethics, and no integrity… Just the polar opposite of Mitt Romney… It truly is a choice, between Evil & Good… Good luck, actionsspeaklouder. Maxx

      • actionsspeaklouder

Right back attcha Maxx. Our hearts will be broken to bits if this evildoer is allowed to continue poisoning our lives. Goodness must prevail.

    • Well said! God gave us freedom and free will so it isn’t revenge we will be taking. It is justice.

      • actionsspeaklouder

Atta girl Laurel – let goodness and justice prevail.

  • Kill Whitey!!

  • Nothing this traitorous dear leader has said or done has been presidential. Evil dear leader.

  • freenca

Incorrect again, BO. The french, that you idolize, say “living well is the best revenge!” Vote R&R on Tuesday next!!! Bring back living well, to more Americans than ever before. Restore a strong economy!

    • Mike Florey

You beat me to it. Well said.

    • MiketheMarine

I thought the french always say…….

      wait for it…..

      “We Surrender….”

      • freenca

You got me there, Mike. They weren’t too proud to let us rescue them repeatedly in the last century either.

        • MiketheMarine

I got in an argument with a socialist french punk in a bar a few months ago. He had the nerve to call ME a nazi. I asked him, “Sprechen Sie Deutsche?” He shut up. I win.

          • I have no idea what that means, but it made me laugh.

            • MiketheMarine

I asked the little, pissant frenchman if he spoke german. Imagine, he had the nerve to be insulted. LOL

              • Don

The little pissant frenchman would be speaking German if it wasn’t for the American soldiers. He hates us too, but that is what a liberal does is hate. Without racial hatred, class warfare, the war against women and now throw in revenge against the white man and you have all the reasons Obama has to be elected. United States??? Obama has no perception of what that means.

          • freenca

Yup, that one works on them EVERY time, Mike! ;-P

        • colliemum

And they blamed us Brits for being in the merde they themselves created in WWI and WWII.

          • freenca

You’re right, Colliemum! You Brits didn’t have it so grand either, yet you did so much in their behalf. I’ve known people over the years that was in the D-Day invasion and flew combat missions based from your fair island. They all loved Britain dearly.

            • colliemum

Yes, they were bleak times, and lasted longer than they should have, thanks to the socialist government voted in in 1945.
I’m not keen on socialists, but I have to give honour where honour is due, and that is to the Foreign Secretary, Ernest Bevan, who was a trade union leader – and loathed the communists from the depth of his being.
That’s why he supported Gen Cassius Clay: when Stalin cut off Berlin, to make the whole city fall to his communist german henchmen, Gen Clay started to fly in everything, from coal to food, to keep West Berlin going, and Bevan and the British Royal Air Force fully supported this Air Bridge, even though there was still full war-time rationing for the whole of Britain, and we didn’t have much to spare.

When I look at the Labour politicians of today – well, they’d have supported Stalin, no doubt about that.

              • freenca

I remember the air lift of Berlin too. I was just a kid then, but thought it the right thing to do, still do. Helping them to survive and rebuild saved their lives. The labour party and even the conservatives are too left for my taste, but then I don’t have a say in your elections, just the ones here in America.

                • colliemum

I’m sharing your taste in regard to our political parties, and I’m a Brit!

But there are many of us who are working very hard to turn the Tory Party back to ‘true blue’. And there are some excellent, true blue Tory MPs who are fighting our battle in Parliament.

                • freenca

I do hope that you can get more of them elected! The true blue ones, that is. (())

                • I miss Lady Thatcher.
I like hearing things from your side of the pond colliemum. My grampa was over there with the Canadians during the blitz. I wish I had have known that but he passed away when I was little and my mom didn’t ever talk about it.

          • famouswolf

One could make a good argument that the French pretty much set the stage for Hitler with their insistence on somewhat draconian punitive measures against the Germans at the Treaty of Versailles.

            • colliemum

Yes, these points have been made – but German politicians worked hard and well to get those draconian measures toned down. With the help of some American financiers and politicians, it should be added.

And then there’s that other, new player on the international scene: Stalin. All communist parties had to follow his orders, which meant that national politics took second place to that what was useful to the SU. His politics played a major role in Hitler coming into power.

            • freenca

So true. That vengfulness on their part made the Germans resent them, and Hitler saw his opportunity to make inroads into the power structure built on that resentment.

  • Just freeze frame and look at the seething anger in his eyes. He knows he’s toast.

At what point of time will it occur to dear leader that Constitutional measures are the exact opposite of “revenge?”

  • poljunkie

Harry Reid already said he and the senate wont work with Romney.

The democrats always want the Republcans to compromise and when they dont they say they are being obstructionists. If the Democrats dont work with a Republican President they are just “using their principles.” Oh I get it now Harry. You jack weasel.

    • pdxlady

Poor ole Harry…he won’t have to worry about working w/ President Romney; as he will be relegated to the minority on Tuesday, November 6th.

    • Patriot077

Winning all the way down the ticket. Let’s support all the talent running for Senate so we can have an intelligent Senate Majority Leader. If you want to support some of the candidates with a good chance of winning, Larry Sabato’s site has a decent chart of the likely winners.
      Every little bit helps!

  • TitaniumEagle

I know it’s been said in 1000 different ways 1000 different times…but the distinction between the two campaigns is just remarkable.

We’ve got Obama ignoring his record in totality, focusing on as many ways to demean and insult his challenger as possible (and as of late, the American people. “Your First Time”, anyone?).

On the other hand, Romney is all over the map, campaigning positively. The only shots he takes at Obama are factual. I’m glad he hasn’t stooped to Obama’s level of ‘Romnesia’.

Seriously, can anyone imagine world leaders taking Obama seriously after his campaigning over the last two months? I sure can’t. Four more days.

  • poljunkie

Hey crowd of perfectly placed people: When Mr Obama says Romney— You boooo.

Revenge? Obviously he is appealing to HIS following that are so ignorant that they think that revenge solves all the troubles child leader has created.

For once in his life Bathhouse BArry is right: voting is the best revenge – revenge for four years of his policies, revenge for Obamacare, revenge for 23 million people with no jobs, for 16 trillion debts, for 5 trillion deficit, and for four murdered Americans.

Vote and show him what real revenge looks like.

Seal Team Six. Several thousand other servicemen. America bashing, moslem uplift. Multiple instances of high treason, security breaches to some of the worst elements in the world.

  • Army_Pilot1967

obama is such a LOSER. He’s not a uniter or a leader; he’s a divider and a follower of Valerie Jarrett, Jerimiah Wright, Bill Ayers and a host of other divisive, dangerous people.

  • marketcomp

Oh so what’s he going to do? Blame the people because they just didn’t understand his 2.6 gpa smarts! What a phony and deceptive!

  • rsox1

This angry, hateful, petulant, divisive campaign he’s waging makes me despise the man even more than I did before, and that’s saying something. Tearing Romney down-a good, decent guy- is one thing, but pitting American against American is a shameful, despicable way to try to win a race, and I just pray enough voters see that. We can do better folks…we don’t have to settle for thug politics and the economy to match.

  • LeonidasOfSparta1957

I realize that any photo of anyone can be a “poor likeness” but this one looks downright evil. This man is so filled with hate that many of his photos SHOW it…. the mask slips a little more each day as the campaign draws to an end.

  • NHConservative0221

Great letter in my local paper:

As the campaigns come down to the end I would like to share a story that I think exhibits the character of Mitt Romney. Four years ago, just about this time, Mitt had dropped out of the race and John McCain was running hard for the White House. I was on a flight from Cincinnati headed to Boston. It was 6:15am and standing at the gate getting ready to board the flight I saw Mitt Romney standing alone reading a book along with everyone else waiting for the flight. I noticed a number of folks who walked up to him and had short conversations with him, he took the time to engage in conversation with each never rushing them and always looking them in the eyes and answering there questions. On the flight, Mitt sat in coach with the rest of us, and happened to be sitting across the aisle from my brother who had the pleasure of a nice conversation with Mitt; again he never rushed him, just sat there and had a very nice conversation. I was impressed that he took the time to talk with everyone and never seemed too important to answer questions from all of those who approached him. The character of a person tells a lot about them, and when you witness a great person in public and see that no matter how much success they have had, they treat people with respect, it tells you a lot about them. I know this is just a little snap shot in time, but I thought I would share it with others, as it might give those who are still not sure of who to vote for a little

    • marketcomp

Fantastic and thanks for sharing your story, NHConservative0221! I was not a fan of Gov. Romney’s but I have learned so much about him that I really do beleive that he is going to be a better President than any of us can eventhought or imagine. He is humbled and I sense that he wants to be President because he can use his special set of skills and experience that is not common in Washington, DC. He is not the run if the mill politician because of his experience in the private sector so just that alone puts him head and shoulders above the rest.

      • NHConservative0221

It’s not my story personally but I just read it in my local paper, thought it was well worth passing on!

I feel the same way about Mitt, really disliked him at first but I have grown to respect his character and feel that he could be a really good President!

        • freenca

All of the truly great people in my life, from teachers, to advisors, and luckily some true friends have had the same qualities shown by that letter to the editor. I had reservations about Romney as our candidate at first and now, as we get to know more about him, that he has the right combination of skills and temprament to get our nation out of the doldrums and our people to have the renewal of confidence in themselves that has been missing for a long, long time.

    • colliemum

Great story – and note well: Mitt Romney travelled coach …

  • Sober_Thinking

Obama is desparate and his ugly, hidden, true inner side is oozing to the surface.

May the Lord help America if this monster is re-elected…

  • KateNE

This guy has NEVER been presidential – not one day.

  • Rshill7

it seems to me Obama is speaking about himself as usual. He wants revenge for Romney kicking his @$$ from state to state. Revenge for making him look like the fool he is in the debates. Revenge for illuminating all of his failures, from his inauguration till today.

For not soft-peddling with him like the MSM does. For being one who refuses to treat him like something he is not. For calling failure failure, incompetence incompetence, and an inexperienced, unaccomplished, empty suit who’s been winging it.

A guy who has not improved anything, but has made everything worse. That’s why he needs revenge, because Romney has exposed him as an imbecile, a fraud, and a loser. I wonder what kind of revenge he’ll need after the landslide.

Perhaps the White House chef can bake four and twenty blackbirds (crow) into a pie for him to chew on election eve. He’ll want to have that taste fresh in his mouth when he concedes.

He’s like the Palestinians who constantly bomb and terrorize Israel and then when they retaliate, they attack them again for “revenge”. No, dude, you brought this on yourself. You dug this nation into a hole our great grandkids are going to still be able to look down into and not see the bottom of. Kiss ass, pack up and get out.

  • BiscuitCrumbs

His platform: Revenge focused, race against race, class envy, have and the have not’s, wealth distribution, pay their fair share, but can’t we all just get along?

Is this our president or a 16 year old?

…OBAMA your time is coming to an END . I can hardly wait to watch you and your wife board Marine One on January 20,2013 from the White House lawn for the very last time as the 44th President of the United States of America . Please do not forget to leave the FRONT DOOR KEY .”

P S …I agree with Dick Morris that Mitt Romney will win BIG as in + 300 electoral college votes .

…to make this happen GET OUT AND VOTE : 4 : Romney / Ryan 2012 ,to save the REPUBLIC .” (period)

I haven’t heard a single incident of someone voting for the manchild and finding his or her vote was being registered for Romney. Not one!

The fix might be in… But we still MUST WIN! if you have to drag yourself from your deathbed to vote… Do so! it’s THAT IMPORTANT!!!

  • Winston Churchill “we shall fight” speech segment… Not exactly apt, but I think it resonates… It certainly does with me.

We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in France,
we shall fight on the seas and oceans,
we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our Island, whatever the cost may be,
we shall fight on the beaches,
we shall fight on the landing grounds,
we shall fight in the fields and in the streets,
    we shall fight in the hills;
we shall never surrender, and even if, which I do not for a moment believe, this Island or a large part of it were subjugated and starving, then our Empire beyond the seas, armed and guarded by the British Fleet, would carry on the struggle, until, in God’s good time, the New World, with all its power and might, steps forth to the rescue and the liberation of the old.”

I hope this spirit in strong within every Conservative… REGARDLESS of the outcome of the election! We must never let our guard down, not for a single moment! Winning the election is only the beginning… A beachhead if you will… A famous battle won… but the war continues… We must fight on… We must never surrender! We WILL WIN!!

God bless the cause for which we stand! God bless those engaged in this cause! God bless America!!!

  • The best thing we can do if we want to literally save what’s left of this country is to send Obama back to Chicago on Tuesday. It’s the best thing that we can do for this country, for the American people as a whole, and for our future. Romney must win on November 6.

  • At least he is acknowledging that no one wants to vote for him. Smearing and lying about Romney is the only way he can get any votes.

  • “Bring a gun to the fight.” “Republicans are your enemies.” “Take out revenge.”

What kind of revenge do you think is Obama going to be calling for after he loses?

    • Depends upon how he wants history to regard him. My guess, he doesn’t care. Democrats have been on record in the past that they do whatever is necessary – anything – to get to a win. They view massaging history as a secondary action. Once Obama knows he has an expiration date, he will be at his most dangerous.

  • Just further proof that the Democrats as a party cater to the lowest common denominator: hate. Add to the fact Barack Obama is the first President whose background is that of a community organizer, it just increases tenfold.

Cannot wait, first, for him to lose reelection, and second, to force himself to sit in that big brown chair as Romney delivers his first inaugural address on January 20th, 2013.

    Cannot wait!

The media made fun of Romney for taking $5,000 from his campaign and rolling up his sleeves to assist Hurricane Sandy victims. Where was Obama, still campaigning. The lamestream media LIES just like Obama and they support him. I cannot understand why anyone would vote for Obama unless they are brainless.

This billboard outside Knoxville, Tenn. Puts it all down very simply. It reads:

    ********** AMERICA

    ********** OR

    ********** OBAMA

    ********** YOU CAN’T HAVE BOTH

It really is sad that someone like obama was voted into office. Why? Because Republicans were angry that McCain was the nominee and stayed home. How utterly stupid.

“Living well is the best revenge” -George Herbert
It means to not malign or enact revenge on others to do them harm but to go on with your life in a way that is best for you. The saying is to help you get on with your life and satisfy your feeling of being maligned. So “Voting is the best revenge” would mean to not malign or enact revenge on others to do them harm but to go and vote in a way that is best for you. The saying is to help you go out and vote and satisfy your feeling of being maligned.
