* he got to play with his drones, killing people ...

Oh - and he got a huge number of outstanding young soldiers killed, not just Americans but our lads and lasses as well, thanks to his ROE. And that's not even mentioning the SEALs ...
Yeah, in the POS's book, this was quite a success - but of course we can't talk about this, not when he's into his 'apologise to muslims wherever they are, whoever they are' mode.
The military's purpose is to kill people and break things - blow them up. We have totally botched our recent wars by forgetting that. We cannot and we do not have the right to impose a government on Afghanistan or Iraq. We had a beef with the terrorists and the Taliban in Afghanistan. We got cute and let the Afghans try to take Ben Laden. Had we sent in the Rangers/Marines/Seals to take that cave ourselves, and to kill/capture the Taliban leadership ourselves, we would have been quickly back out of the country with at the most 100 casualties. Instead here we are 10 years and thousands of dead later and with the shame of an undecided war and hundreds of billions of dollars spent, and maybe 10,000 wounded vets.
Same goes for Iraq, if we were even justified going into Iraq at all. Maybe we should have left them alone, I don't think anyone knows enough to know for sure. But we could have made it easier if Bush and Powell hadn't called off the first war so quickly and allowed us to finish destroying the Iraq army with another 24 hours of fighting. We were that close to doing it. We have the best military in the world, and the worst Generals/Political leaders when it comes to war. It is a shame that good men have to die because of the idiots running the show.

My buddies who served there (more than once) said we should stay... but this time, I respectfully disagree. My friends who have served there HATE to leave a job unfinished... and they deserve every ounce of my respect. But when those animals start killing our people and only go through the motions until we leave... it's not worth it. I don't want any of my friends coming home like they served in Benghazi for crying out loud.
Obama is very generous with American lives... my friends have paid their dues and then some... I don't want them to pay more dearly.

the thing that sickens me is that we train these foreigners and they kill our freedom fighting patriots....maybe we are better off getting out. I am confused on this issue. I just don't want to see Al Quaeda and more terroism growth especially in any middle eastern country and especially more terrorist cells in the US.
