So this happened in an interview with the Washington Post…
MEDIAITE – Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez mocked her critics in a Washington Post interview, telling them to “enjoy being exhausted for the next two years while we run train on the progressive agenda.”
According to Urban Dictionary — not always a reliable source, but useful in this case — “run train” is colloquially defined as “to gangbang” someone with “several friends.”
Ocasio-Cortez’s pledge to gang bang the progressive agenda comes in the transcript of an extensive interview with the Post, in which she was asked about “conservative media” setting her up as “another boogeyman on the left.”
Here’s the actual quote:
Welp. We did it, people. We got to the point where America's new social media Congressional sweetheart is using gangbang analogies to describe her policy priorities and we're all so jaded that we no longer care. pic.twitter.com/23O9kdfcvp

This is one case where I have to say I am very glad I didn’t know what ‘run train’ means. I’d never heard of it until today.
But does she know what it REALLY means? She is supposedly from the Bronx…
Alex from the Bronx should probably know what “run train” means and why this is hilariously terrible https://t.co/4Tm6kyCzpM

Here’s a few more responses…
This is what happens when a nice girl from the suburbs suddenly decides to become Alex From The Bronx. https://t.co/1VKyYKZg12

AOC should probably know what euphemisms mean before she uses them.https://t.co/XkrCiB1sj4 https://t.co/XkrCiB1sj4

I shouldn't bother with this, but it does strike me that AOC doesn't seem to grasp that "running train" on something is...erm, *intensely demeaning*. And she wants to do it on the "progressive agenda."

AOC = told you she supported Bernie, but secret Hillary voter.
It’s definitely inappropriate, but she’ll probably say it has a different definition. And honestly that’s what I hope is the case. But you know never know these days…
