OH CRAP! Trump is about to lose Georgia!

Georgia has voted for a Republican for president in the last 5 presidential elections. The last time it voted for a Democrat was in 1992, and that was the year Ross Perot took 13% of the vote in Georgia, giving Clinton the victory over Bush Sr. by 1 point.

In 2012 Romney won by 8 points. In 2008 McCain won by 5.

During the George W. Bush years he trounced both his opponents, Gore and Kerry, by double digits each time.

Today, Breitbart and Gravis Marketing commissioned a poll that shows Trump leading in Georgia by 1 point. That’s it.

Donald J. Trump, the Republican nominee for president, holds a 1-point lead over Democrat Hillary R. Clinton in Georgia, according to a Breitbart/Gravis poll conducted Aug. 4 through Aug. 8 of 1,604 registered voters in that state.

“Trump is in a precarious position,” said Doug Kaplan, the managing partner of Gravis Marketing, the Florida-based firm that executed the poll for Breitbart News.

“Clinton has a real chance to flip states like Georgia, forcing Trump to play defense, while she then works to reengage with states that went for Obama twice,” he said.

Kaplan said when respondents were asked to consider Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson and Green Party nominee Dr. Jill Stein, Trump expands his lead to 43 percent with Clinton dropping to 39 percent and Stein the choice of two percent, Johnson eight percent.

MEANWHILE:

Donald Trump trumpeted a confident assessment of his campaign on Thursday night, saying there was no need for him to encourage voters to head to the polls on election day.

I don’t know that we need to get out the vote,” the Republican nominee concluded. “I think people that really want to vote, they’re gonna just get up and vote for Trump. And we’re going to make America great again.”

Trump acts as if he’s so compelling of a candidate that he doesn’t need to do anything, that people will automatically vote for him.

Narcissist much?

With that attitude we are definitely going to lose in November. I just don’t see how we win like this.
