Omarosa put on White House “No Fly” list – Fox

White House Chief of Staff John Kelly has been keeping tight control over who does and does not have access to highly impressionable President Trump since coming aboard. His ‘no fly” list, as it is hilariously nick-named, is the list of people he thinks aren’t to be taken too seriously and who shouldn’t be part of serious meetings. And that apparently includes Omarosa Manigault.

From Fox:

Hers is the most prominent name on the list according to The Times report which describes her as a former “Apprentice” star with an ill-defined job in the White House.

The paper reported late Friday that Manigault’s penchant for dropping into meetings to which she was not invited is what landed her on the no-fly list.

The person given the responsibility of enforcing it is Kirstjen Nielsen, Kelly’s brusque, no-nonsense long-time aide who is willing to be hated, the paper reported.

In the same article, Fox adds that one White House official “adamantly denied” the New York Times report calling it “completely false.”

Omarosa has had some tough runs with the press, particularly liberal press who question the very idea of a “person of color” working for Trump, because liberals are kind of jerks. But she is a reality TV star, not a foreign or domestic policy expert. Perhaps some discipline about who attends meetings and why should be seen as a smart move on Kelly’s part, though I grant you, one that won’t win him many friends or allies.
