Parents and Teachers In Fargo Want Common Core EXPELLED

In Fargo, North Dakota, parents and teachers are not welcoming Common Core, set to be adopted in the State. They are talking, they are having meetings, and they are fired up. They don’t want the federal government’s education plan, and they are speaking up about it, doncha know. From KVLY:

“The people who wrote and copyrighted your standards, the standards that are transforming american public education, are utterly unaccountable to the taxpayers.”

The folks in always-independent Fargo simply don’t believe this is what is best for their kids, their schools, and their community. And isn’t that the biggest problem with Common Core? Usurpation of the community by a distant, centralized, bloated absentee dictator?

My answer is yes. And I can show my work.
