Paul Ryan: We have to find common ground to prevent debt crisis from taking down this economy

Paul Ryan doesn’t agree that Obama has a mandate to raise taxes because House Republicans were also reelected and they oppose raising tax rates. And as House Budget Committee Chairman he stands against raising tax rates as it will hamper economic growth.

But he does believe via the election the American people want bipartisan solutions and he says it’s important that they find common ground to keep this debt crisis from taking down the economy and the country.
