While Pence was in Israel, he was asked about Trump’s porn star affair that has come to light in the last week or so. But he clearly didn’t want to go against his boss:
FOX NEWS – Vice President Mike Pence is dismissing the allegation that President Trump had a past sexual affair with a porn star named Stormy Daniels by calling it “baseless.”
Speaking to The Associated Press during a visit to Jerusalem on Monday, the vice president said he is “not going to comment on the latest baseless allegations against the president.”
Pence is on a four-day tour of the Middle East.
Probably not the best time to ask Pence about this considering he’s abroad. And with all the reporting that has come out on this, I don’t think many people except those very loyal to the president are going to call them baseless.
But I also understand he’s not going to go against Trump on this. If he did, it would create a far bigger fiasco in the White House than just looking like a spinster by calling them baseless.
