PJ Media’s Roger Simon interviews Jack Cashill on Obama’s literary bio

Earlier today, the author of the Obama’s literary bio came out and said the bio was an error:

This was nothing more than a fact checking error by me–an agency assistant at the time,” Goderich wrote in an emailed statement to Yahoo News. “There was never any information given to us by Obama in any of his correspondence or other communications suggesting in any way that he was born in Kenya and not Hawaii. I hope you can communicate to your readers that this was a simple mistake and nothing more.

I know what you’re thinking. This was as predictable as water is wet.

Before this followup announcement, Roger Simon interviewed Jack Cashill on today’s news. They had some interesting things to say:

Here’s the thing. No matter if this is true, and they could be right that Obama himself approved his bio, it can only have an effect on the election and not on anything, shall we say more dramatic. Just as before, even if the Supreme Court all of a sudden ruled on factual basis that this is true and Obama shouldn’t be president, there is no enforcement body to set removal into action. The Senate will continue to protect as always and the DOJ…well, need I say more?

That said, this is a very interesting find.
