I'm just really glad to see that with all the campaigns being suspended, including the one in Ohio that our leaders are where they need to be. I said, all campaigns are suspended in respect to this crisis. Did you not hear me Governor Romney? Oh you suspended your campaign.. good to know.. oh.. why are you still going to the exact same location on the same day, at the same time of your suspended campaign? Ohhh, to assist with the relief efforts.. got ya. Oh, in kettering Ohio? Kettering needs relief from the hurricane? Oh.. what's that Governor Romney. You still played campaign videos, sold shirts, and gave a speech? All while taking picture of you bagging canned goods for the "relief". What's that Romney? Sounds like a photo op and a campaign day to me.. What's that. Oh ok, so your taking advantage of campaigning against the president after you said you werent going to campaign, all while the president suspends his campaign to actually be a president. I got ya. Well good luck with that. The American people are watching.
Those hurricane victims should be glad they aren't in Benghazi. The pretender would have had no sympathy for them there.
Obama says government will respond "big and fast to Hurricane Sandy." This man has no shame! How can he say that after ignoring those men in Benghazi. I think he thinks he can say that because he thinks many people aren't aware of what he did because the LSM isn't reporting the Benghazi story. I am concerned that he may be correct. I have spoken to two people over the past four days that knew NOTHING about Benghazi. I spoke to someone else this morning who said in their circle of friends, NOBODY had heard about it! We have to get this story out to everyone. Please! Thank you.
Just saw Obama at the RedCross headquarters, giving a pep talk. I realize this is important to do and I don't really blame Obama for taking advantage of it (all Presidents most likely would). But, two things came to mind when I saw it.
One, everybody in that headquarters is being held up doing their jobs while he bloviates away about how they need to do their jobs. When we would perform our Nuclear Emergency drills at the Nuclear plant, the same thing would happen when the bigshots showed up. We all had to stop and listen (all the while hoping they would finish soon so we could get on with the business of saving the day).
And, two, we see videos of Romney behind a table, throwing around cases of bottled water, while Obama just talks and talks and talks. It is a stark difference and would make a good ad, except for the fact Romney won't exploit that.
I don't mean to make this disaster political, but those things just stood out to me.
Don't worry, while the ARC does good work, it's filled with leftoids that were eating it up. I worked for them six years, trust me.
I heard a sound clip of one of the President's speeches today regarding the hurricane recovery, as he told the people, "We are behind you." It reminded me of his terrific tactic of leading from behind. It seems that telling them, "We are beside you", or "with you" would have been more appropriate.
What they're really sayin in the WH situation room....
Uh Oh! All of our voters who permanently reside underneath tombstones are under water. How they all gonna git out to vote early & often on election day?
...Uhhhhh, maybe we just gotta postpone the election a week or two until they dry off a bit.
....And Uhhh, by then we'll figger out a way to blame the GOP for causing the storm.
There's a reason why he didn't give a photo op while he was managing the Benghazi attack. It wouldn't look good if we saw him put in his earplugs and slide down the night cap. "Take care of this, Bo. You can do it."
Good point CK-not much required of fed's besides releasing money for the disaster. Romney is going to be at a hurricane relief event in Ohio today while obama sits in the WH trying to look useful.

Well, although Krauthammer makes a very good point in regard to that POS in the WH trying to be seen to actually do something (even if it's not necessary), while not having done anything at all in regard to Benghazi, he swiftly changes back into his eeyorish attitude.
No, Mr Krauthammer - Romney will not 'lose momentum' and that POS in the WH will not gain an electoral advantage because of Sandy.
Why?
Take a look at the mad of the USA. Pretty big, innit, with quite a few other states not affected, right? And what do we see from the electoral maps? That storm was hitting deep blue states, wasn't it.
Is it really credible to assume that Republicans and independents everywhere will be sooo dazzled by the bullsh*tter-in-chief that they'll forget straightaway about the economy, and about Benghazi?

I agree with Charles. What kind of leadership does it take to sit in the WH and write checks? I will show you leadership in Gov Christie who will be traveling around the state in a helicopter today. Chris Christie is a leader, Obama is a pretender.
The "country" is not really focused on hurricane Sandy, the east coast is. NY, NJ were hit the hardest and they will be focused on Sandy for the next few days, perhaps right up to election day, but these states are going to Obama anyway. If Sandy had done significant damage to Ohio, now that would be another story.
Liberals will just find it a bit harder to go vote for Obama in the NE...maybe mother nature or a higher power was sending a message to them.
'Mother nature' is a god somebody created to avoid recognizing God controls the weather. He also is in Sovereign over the Democrats, Obama and the election.

Its odd to me that I live where the eye of the storm hit last night. The storm wasnt that strong because it was so wide spread. No power out here. Last year in Sept. We were hit with a storm far stronger that this wide spread storm and I had power out for two weeks and the media didnt cover the way they are here to protect the Obama machine from its inner storm.
Barry, was going to continue his campaign until someone hit him over the head with a rock when he arrived in Florida, and told him he needed to go back to DC so he could look Presidential at a photo op regarding Sandy. This Dog Eater, doesn't give a dam* about the American people, all he cares about is himself and getting reelected. Our education system has dumbed down our children so much that we have millions of people who don't know a dam* thing except how to get everything for free. It's not like we didn't have any warning that a massive super-storm was going to hit the East Coast somewhere between Washington and New York. It actually is amazing that he was able to make the decisions to release money for the disaster without taking a poll of potential voters first.
The whole thing was a no-brainer and like Krauthammer said, "Just release the federal money and let the Governors do their job".
the area that it hit was in severe drought for the last 8 mos. Mother nature was just doing her job. The wind wasnt as bad at they kept saying it would be. not much over 30-40 gusts here in DE

Yes, where are those pictures of Obama in the situation room, like when Bin Laden was killed, watching the Benghazi attack unfold, with Hillary sitting at the table hand cupping mouth and Obama squatting in a corner with a jacket thrown over his golf shirt with others watching a screen? Where are they?

This action was a No-Brainer. Of course he would, cancel campaigning and jump in front of a camera so as to be seen as presidential. No surprise.
This morning they said on the news that "this will become the most expensive natural disaster in American history."
I thought no way(!), Obama's single term has been much more expensive and much more disastrous than this storm.
Somebody please alert the rest of us when the storm damage hits 6 trillion, mmkay?
I think it will be much less than 100 billion, which is a little more than Obama spent on green energy boondoggle crony paybacks.
Problem is that Obama is a "man-made disaster," so you can't honestly compare the two.
I'm pretty certain that someone in the "most transparent administration ever" will be happy to take credit for ending the storm.
The media will hype the expense of cleaning up after this storm....inflate the numbers daily.
I suspect them to state something like this:
"A bigger disaster than Katrina and Obama handled this so much better than Bush".
I am repulsed by Obama's response which is probably quite typical of a president,
however, it reminds me of his lack of action and lying response in the Benghazi
murders.
Anyone with a brain knows anything Obama does in regards to our economy or national security is always a negative step in the wrong direction. The only claim to fame is his decision to kill Bin Laden after he was denied doing so by Valerie Jarrett at least three times. I am glad he relented so he could be the "hero" he claims to be. Meghan McVain is the most intellectually bankrupt of all the shining examples of liberal insanity out there. Even Obama is not as brain dead, as Meghan definitely is, to try and take advantage of an act of nature to enhance his electability or is he????
