Police officers take a KNEE with activist to support Colin Kaepernick, now face discipline…

Two uniformed police officers in Chicago take a knee with an activist supporting Colin Kaepernick as they pose for a photo. But now they face discipline:

Here’s more:

Two cops in Chicago will be disciplined after a local activist took a picture with them in uniform kneeling in support of recent protests during the national anthem at NFL games — and posted the snap to Instagram, officials said.

The activist, Aleta Clark, posted the photo with two “men of color” to her social media account Sunday, two days after President Trump said at a political rally in Alabama that NFL players who won’t stand for the national anthem should be fired.

A spokesman for the Chicago Police Department said the officers would be reprimanded for taking the photo.

The flak, Anthony Guglielmi, declined to identify the officers but said they work in the 6th District on the city’s south side.

“We became aware of the photo yesterday and addressed this in the same way we handled a previous incident of potential political activity while in uniform (officers with a MAGA hat),” Guglielmi wrote in an email to The Post. “The officers will be reprimanded and reminded of the policies concerning appearance and conduct while on-duty and in uniform.”

I’m sure Colin Kaepernick couldn’t be happier right now. Trump has helped his protest gain more momentum than he could have ever dreamed.
