On Politics Nation on Friday, host Al Sharpton donned his lab coat and entered “The Science Lab” to make some sort of point about global warming and Fox News and snow.
I like how he’s humorously mixing chemicals at the end there. Of course, it wasn’t real chemicals, just colored water. Nevertheless, 11 people in the studio died from the resultant explosion.
Anyway, Rev. Sharpton is having some fun here at the expense of Fox News. You see, they are dumb and he is not. You can tell this by the lab coat and expert. Reading of the teleprompter.
Shown are various Fox News folks talking about recent extreme cold weather, reporting on snow and ice across the nation, and of course, making fun of global warmers. Like Eric Bolling, for example, noting the irony of the “climate change” scientist being trapped in ice. Or Stuart Varney cracking wise about global cooling, a joke which no one has ever heard before. And on it goes like that. In response, Sharpton says that snow in winter doesn’t mean the earth isn’t warming. In other words, he’s saying “weather does not equal climate,” which I’m pretty sure I have heard before. Apparently, however, fires, earthquakes, and warm summers do equal climate, at least according to the tenets of the AGW faith. I guess what the Reverend meant was that cold weather does not equal climate.
Sharpton goes on to cite the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, which is totally reliable and not political, as saying that they are like, 90% sure mankind is the cause of global warming. (In Science!, 90 percent equals 100 percent, therefore “the science is settled”), and that over 97% of global warming scientists think global warming is proof of global warming. Consensus!
Having correctly pronounced two entire double-digit numbers, Sharpton is confident he has made an airtight case and decides that right-wingers need a new talking. Point.
So don’t bother to bundle up, Antarctic explorers. Who are you going to trust, the IPCC? Or your own lying ice? The science is settled, people. Professor Rev. Al Sharpton has proven.
