Rafael Cruz says he doesn’t see his son Ted running for president…

report this ad

Rafael Cruz told Candy Crowley he doesn’t see his son running for president, but I think he said that as more of a current assessment of what Ted is doing than what he will do as we get closer to 2016. In other words, I think he said it as a dodge:

I love him and hope he runs.

  • badbadlibs

Why does Crowley look like she’s sitting on something sharp? It really must “pain” her to be in the presence of freedom loving, honest and God fearing people.
This father and son are the American dream the founding father’s envisioned, not the nightmare her and her fellow lefist ilk have produced.

  • BetseyRoss

    badbadlibs A thousand ‘likes’!!

  • poorhardworker

I find it stunningly ignorant of Candy Crowley to waste EVERYBODYS  time asking the same question over and over.  Ted already answered her twice on “if he was running for president”…and then she tries AGAIN by asking the father!  If the answer doesn’t fit what liberal/progressive/democrats want to hear…they just keep on asking!

  • marketcomp

poorhardworker I know it’s like they are mentally challenged. They are so afraid of him.

  • marketcomp

They are really obsessed and mad about Ted Cruz running for President whether the eGOP and Chris Christie or the democrat party. They always tell you who they are afraid of.

  • JungleCogs

He didn’t dodge a thing; he said the truth.  he is standing-up for principle in the Senate and said the president thing is the future and nobody knows what that will bring.  It was a great answer.

    BetseyRoss badbadlibs Ten thousand more likes coming from me :}

twoblackcats And Rafael for Ted’s vacant Senate seat!

  • Conservative_Hippie

    marketcomp Agreed.

  • Conservative_Hippie

    badbadlibs Well said!

  • Conservator1

Our liberties are precious and Mr. Cruz is correct that when faced with oppression, America is the only place to find sanctuary. If not America, then what nation as Ted stated so eloquently? God Bless this man and let him and other like minded conservatives regain the power to save this nation.

“Rafael Cruz told Candy Crowley ……” ???

I’m usually not a petty person, but ugh – can you get any uglier than her!? I love that fat people do their hair and makeup and usually look good. I’m verging on being a fat person myself! She is repulsive.

Seems to me they are playing this smart. You have to have a strategy to win. Policy and world view is only one part of the equation.

  • Laurel A

marketcomp Because he has the potential to be a Latin Ronald Reagan. They should be afraid.

  • Laurel A

Orangeone twoblackcats Not a bad idea.

  • wodiej

who cares? November 2016 is 3 1/2 years away.

  • deTocqueville1

I agree with Cruz senior. I see Ted as a Senate great like Webster, Clay and Calhoun.

  • deTocqueville1

    JungleCogs Exactly.

Laurel A marketcomp As long as he doesn’t repeat the amnesty mistake or back any kind of expanded immigration.

Article by PHD author, Iraq vet, retired Colonel Lawrence Sellin who follows me on Facebook.

Since 1975, both Democrat and Republican
politicians have been trying unsuccessfully to amend Article II,
Section I, Clause 5 of the U. S. Constitution. The election of Obama has
allowed them to do so, not legally, but by fait accompli.
According to the wishes of Democrat and
Republican politicians, Anwar al-Awlaki, killed by a drone strike on
September 30, 2011, was eligible to be President because he was born in
New Mexico of Yemeni parents. Al-Awlaki was the “spiritual leader” of
al-Qaida in the Arabian peninsula, whose sermons at the Dar al-Hijrah
Islamic Center in Falls Church, Virginia were attended by two hijackers
who carried out the 9/11 attacks, Nawaf al-Hamzi and Hani Hanjour.
Likewise, accused Fort Hood shooter and alleged al-Awlaki disciple,
Nidal Malik Hasan, is eligible to be President because he was born in
    Virginia of Palestinian parents.   http://www.federalobserver.com/2013/06/06/sellin-how-barack-obama-avoids-prison/

    deTocqueville1 JungleCogs ~~ Precisely.

Eh, he’s not Ted.  I’ll let Ted speak for himself.

    Follow
the Constitution. Article II Section I is a national security clause.
Born here in US to US citizens WHO WERE CITIZENS AT THE TIME OF THE
BIRTH, not just visiting,  with long established love and allegiance for
America– NO DUAL CITIZENSHIP, is what our Founders understood “natural
born” to mean. John Jay advised Washington to stipulate this status.
Not native born or naturalize—NATURAL BORN.  My own kids can not be
President. I would never push to circumvent the Constitution for
convenience. Senator Claire McCaskill tried to alter the criteria for
President and VP, 8 times on the House floor BEFORE 2008. THEY KNEW
OBAMA WAS NOT ELIGIBLE.   The British National Archives have the proof
that Obama Sr. had a son born in Kenya in August 1961. England (UK) was
in charge of Kenya until 1963. P.S. Kenya was not called Kenya in 1961,
so why does Obama’s birth record online 4/2011 say Kenya? Why does it
say African for race when black or negro was the term used for race at
that time? Because is it a REALLY BAD forgery.    Senator Cruz & his
dad are heroes and inspiring men of character.  God bless the Cruz
family. We need more patriots NOT Socialist and radicals in the USA.

  • joyfulgiver

Honestly, I like his answer.  It proves that Ted is doing the business that he was elected to do.  He’s about the peoples business.  Not looking down the road to 2016 but working in the NOW, a lot more than we can ever say for our campaigner in chief.

  • DebbyX

twoblackcats It’s not petty…………….it’s just the truth!

  • bluerose3335

I like TED but come ENOUGH with the going on CNN, ABC, NBC or CBS….I MEAN MOBY LARD CAWLEY???…come on this woman is a disgrace, CNN has been barred from GOP debates and Cruz goes on CNN?  I had to this day NEVER seen a GOP Candidate with a brain when it comes to the media and Ted is no different.  I am sooo sick of this BS about mass appeal and reaching others…getting to know him…you could put CNN and MSNBLOONEYC’s audiences together and you will not even get over 500,000 people to watch…so for the LOVE OF GOD GOP people CUT THE CRAP WITH LIBERAL TRASH with LIBERAL COMMENTATORS….when will CONSERVATIVES LEARN AND GROW UP!!
