In a really bizarre turn in the debate over Gina Haspel’s CIA nomination, Rand Paul is asking a new question that might derail Trump’s pick.

WOW. What’s crazy about this is that he’s using a Trump narrative AGAINST a Trump nominee!! Clearly Paul is against Haspel because of his nutty libertarianism. But ironically, his nutty libertarianism is in line with a lot of what Trump said during the primaries. Now, it appears that Trump is being steered towards more centrist foreign policies – and Rand Paul is trying to trip that up. That’s the only explanation I can see for this, because Haspel has picked up three Dem votes, and looks to be on her way to being confirmed…
