At a funny moment in his interview with Jake Tapper, Senator Rand Paul appears to mock his fellow Senator Marco Rubio and his questioning of Rex Tillerson, Trump’s pick for the Secretary of State.

Ironically, Paul flails his arms about a bit, Trump-like, and mockingly mimics Rubio, saying, “what are you gonna do, what are you gonna do? Are you gonna call him a war criminal?!?”
He doesn’t specifically name Rubio, but the Senator from Florida was praised widely by Russian detractors for pressing Rex to respond to whether Putin was a war criminal or not. You can watch that video here.
Perhaps Paul is still holding a grudge from the primaries? I happen to agree with him – as much as Tillerson’s associations with Putin appear to be worrisome, I don’t think you’d expect a Secretary of State to go around declaring everyone a war criminal, even if it’s true. That’s kinda the point of diplomacy.
