    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_OQI5D66OXO7X2FE4NVCZC7BAMA Joe

      You beat me to it!

      • Orangeone

    • http://twitter.com/ozziecastillo Stewie

      He sleeps with the Brotherhood.

Is that a racist joke or a gay joke?

      /sarc

      • jodypear

        Reality joke.

      • crosshr

or both, Lord help here !

      • Conniption Fitz

        Double entendre.

    • Conniption Fitz

Very nice – a double entendre.

    • http://profile.yahoo.com/KYTC7EGQASGOTQYPY2KPC4XCZY Don

Obama and the Muslim brotherhood are like two (2) peas in a pod. The only law they believe in is Sharia law, all others be damned.

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_OQI5D66OXO7X2FE4NVCZC7BAMA Joe

I heard that ZERO may fly one over himself – just to try out the GUNS!

    This man is beyond wacko!

    • GetWhatYouPayFor

He likes the drones better. He is a member of the joystick generation. Loves the back room.

      • Orangeone

Was the closet too small so he had to take it to the back room?

      • tinlizzieowner

Bush drones = Bad. Obama drones = Good.
More situational hypocrisy from the left.

        • Guest1776rcp

The hypocrisy swings both ways. I’ve talked to plenty of people who defended Bush’s policies who are now pissed at Obama for abusing and expanding on those very same BUSH policies that BUSH put in place. Had these idiots opposed the Bush policies in the first place they wouldn’t be there for Obama to expand upon and abuse.

          • tinlizzieowner

I’ve talked to a lot of hypocrites too. For instance, the liberals who pitched such a fit over ‘the surge’ Bush launched in Iraq led by a man they called ‘Gen. Betray-Us’, then praised Obama for ‘the surge’ he launched in Afghanistan led by the same Gen. Petraeus. ;-) ;-)
Bush surge = Bad. Obama surge = Good.
A little more situational hypocrisy from the left.

    • hbnolikeee

Let’s hope he ejects without opening the canopy.

    • Orangeone

Barky is making a stop in MN to talk Gun Control Monday. Wonder if he plans to use those guns on the conservative portions of the state during his flyby

  • Godisright

    I second the motion!
Surprised the F16 wasn’t on Diane Frankenstein’s list of banned stuff. Maybe the sidewinder or hell-fire missiles should be on there as well – they can really make a mess.

    • Orangeone

Well it wasn’t so can we start a collection and buy ourselves one? There is more than enough Scooper talent to fly it!

      • Godisright

We would need to have MB affiliation. Fake Islamic ID etc. etc.

  • http://profile.yahoo.com/ZVCGRG62NAGQXJ6ZNE4JCTVVTU Ray

Why didn’t you vote against Lurch. He will do just as much damage.

  • sjmom

Scoop, I would like the roll call on this vote to see how many Republicans betray the American people and vote no.

Giving planes and tanks to the Muslim Brotherhood is irrational. Unless, of course, you agree with their Islamist jihadists ways. Obama really showed himself in this and IMO you have to be blind, deaf and dumb to go along with this which is why I want the vote count on this one. Every pro Israel Senator in both parties should stand with Rand Paul and vote no.

  • theresaaa

I’ll make that call . But I’m pretty sure my Senator already supports it .

    • PicklePlants

I line in NJ and I am beyond hopeless.

      • theresaaa

I live in Oklahoma , a very red state , a very anti Obama state . He didn’t carry one county here in either election , no one came to our state to campaign they , knew which way this state was going .
        I feel for ya .

        • NYGino

I salute the good people in Oklahoma.

    • Orangeone

I’m in MN and mine are salivating!

  • Joachim14_1a

I don’t want F-16s going to Egypt, but what is the amendment an amendment to? I’m trying to find a few more details before contacting my senators. A cursory web search did not help me. Is there anything else in the amendment?

    • http://profile.yahoo.com/MVMVLN267XCY2HS5KL25QTQRKQ John

it will be an amendment to the No Budget, No Pay Act.

Just tell your senator’s to support the Paul amendment to the No Budget, No Pay Act I think they vote tomorrow afternoon on this!

      • Joachim14_1a

        Thanks.

    • Conniption Fitz

This arms deal was forged by Bush and was intended for Mubarrak, now it’s going into an unstable Islamist nation.

  • RocklinConservative

I so like this guy :)

  • notsofastthere

If the deal goes through and Morsi uses the tanks or planes agains his own people or Israel, then what does the American public do?

    • Orangeone

What is Morsi uses them against US troops? Or sells them to our other enemies? Or lets our other enemies dismantle to re-engineer?

      • notsofastthere

I suppose our answer will be “just wait until the next election” and we get a Republican president in. Assuming we have a country to hold elections in.

        • Orangeone

That and assuming the potus doesn’t EO away our right to vote and cancel all future elections

  • chatterbox365

After casting a vote for Botox Kerry, you better do something right this week.

    • c4pfan

      Tell me about it.

    • Orangeone

Gives some insight to his position on Senate confirmation.

  • http://www.facebook.com/mary.raya.94 Mary Ann Regala Raya

O probably thought it wise that since the US has been sending arms to Israel in the past, he might as well send some to Israel’s enemies – the Arabs & its allies, like Egypt. Unfortunately, unlike Israel, Arab muslims tend to exercise very little restraint & control once they have their finger on the trigger.

    • Nukeman60

Unlike Israelis, who only put their finger on the trigger when the target is in their sights, the muslims put their finger on the trigger whenever they put their foot in their mouth.

It’s a reflex action and usually gets that foot shot off (as they always seem to be shooting their mouths off at the time).

  • c4pfan

    Anyone co-sponser his bill?

  • Yazz55

Sell the F16’s to Israel instead of Egypt.

  • tinlizzieowner

This deal was null and void when they threw the Mubarak government out but I don’t suppose that matters much to Barry and Co. and the RINOS.

  • Jim Botts

Here’s an idea, let Egypt build their own damn fighter planes.

  • PatrickHenrysBody

As well-intentioned as Senator Paul’s amendment is, it will not gain any traction in the Reid-ruled Senate.

    • NCHokie02

      agreed

  • Conniption Fitz

To give arms to an unstable Islamist nation would be even more stupid than giving amnesty to illegals.

  • aposematic

That vote will expose the Political line in the sand for/against Islam/Israel. Let the games begin…

  • http://navalwarfare.blogspot.com/ Libertyship46

It will be interesting to see what happens. But remember, there’s a lot more at stake here than just a vote on Egypt. If we stop American weapons in general from going to Egypt, American weapons manufacturers will not get paid. A lot of the “foreign aid” that goes to Egypt is money that is used to buy American weapons from American manufacturers paid for by the American taxpayer. Take the weapons out of the equation and the the weapons manufacturers will not be happy. I’m sure those folks at General Dynamics or Boeing or a half a dozen other suppliers to this deal are not going to be thrilled about this vote and will make their unhappiness very, very, plain to the senators in their states too. We’ll see who wins.

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_GDJGRV2MMCB6P2ZYTUZW6BHFVA Richard

Rand Paul 2016. Forget Rubio and big mouth from NJ.

    • c4pfan

Can’t we get through 2013 and 2014 before thinking who the nominee is?

  • Sober_Thinking

It’s nice to see some semblence of sanity coming from someone in congress.

Call me jaded… even if they vote “no” to this… I wouldn’t be surprised to see Dear Ruler go behind their backs again, in direct defiance of the U.S. Constitution (which he swore to uphold… several times), and pass another illegal EO, giving his brothers in the desert these weapons. If this happens, the next vote in congress should be about his impeachment.

It’s funny how flaming liberals want to take our guns… but want to send advanced weapons to our enemies. Couldn’t the bad guys, I don’t know, KILL someone? Oh wait… my bad… liberals view the bad guys AS the good guys… because with liberals and radical Muslims, they all look the same to each other… and they all have the same goals.

    • Joachim14_1a

Ultimately their goals differ, but the liberals are either too stupid to realize it or they think they can get to a certain point together and then gain control and come out on top.

    • FreeManWalking

Well said ST, I’ll call you sharp, well tuned, informed and insightful of current events.

What is it going to take for a senator or representative to STAND UP in DEFIANCE and explain that Executive Orders can’t be written into United States law?
EOs are only orders for the employees of the executive branch on how the president directs the running of the day to day operations of the executive branch?

      • Sober_Thinking

You are right… we’re all waiting for a hero. Stinks to wait… this should have been thwarted long ago (EOs). What’s it going to take? Sadly… 4 more years of Obama perhaps.

Thank you for your kind words.

        • FreeManWalking

          yw, I enjoy your comments!

  • Myptofvu

I thought Reid wasn’t allowing any amendments from Republicans on ANY Bills?

    • http://profile.yahoo.com/MVMVLN267XCY2HS5KL25QTQRKQ John

He allows some amendments by the opposition.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1396855720 Brian Jones

Well…I’m a bit late here, but here’s the contact info for California’s Senators:
    Boxer: https://boxer.senate.gov/en/contact/policycomments.cfm
    Feinstein: https://www.feinstein.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/e-mail-me

  • MadAsHellJack

Dead amendment walking. :( Reid is Obama’s puppet and he will never let this go anywhere. Besides that no blue state senators would ever deny their messiah. It’s almost as if these democRat politicians are in cahoots with the enemies of America.

    • notsofastthere

There is no question in my mind that the Democrat Party IS the enemy within. Social Engineering from Amnesty, Military, Healthcare, Welfare, Unemployment, Food Stamps, Money and Arms to our enemies, Announcing troop withdrawals, Gun Control, all the antithesis of American values and secutiry. The party wasn’t hijacked – it was voted in and condoned. Repubs continue to vote YES to Obama’s nominations. Sickening

  • jleinf

You would have to be insane to sell arms to any country run by Islamic totalitarians. Can’t wait to see who votes in favor of this.

  • c4pfan

Does this have a real chance or is this just another way to get his name in the people’s mind for his failed 2016 run.
