By The Right Scoop

Ravi Zacharias recently did an interview where he discussed the problem of evil in the world as well as other topics, some relative to Richard Dawkins. It was excellent as always.

I love Ravi. Thank you Scoop! His is an amazing testimony and he’s a brilliant apologist. I love his take on good and evil. I’ve been studying under him for quite a few years now… if only I could be a better student.

We could all be better… and we will… when we join Him in Heaven. God bless you!

Thank you for posting that Scoop! We are in the midst of spiritual warfare throughout the world and Ravi Zacharias brings a message of hope that we can help to win the war by bringing the gospel to Islam and by helping scientists to discover the wonder and truth of the gospel. Perhaps the pain that we will experience, as a nation, as a result of the policies implemented over the last 4 years and the coming 4 years, will result in a revival in this country.

As usual, I’m happy I came to visit the Right Scoop this morning!

Yes, if the gospel converted Walid Shoebat, a former PLO member, there is certainly hope. One…at…a…time – exponentially.

He is just the best. I have learned so much from him through my Christian journey. God has blessed him greatly with insight and wisdom and he, in turn, has blessed so many. Thanks for posting this video ;)

What an anointed speaker. Thank you RS for this 36 minutes of spiritual Truth. A true blessing to have heard Ravi.

Thank you for putting up this video, scoop.

That was a very inspirational talk, and privately I am chuffed that he mentioned John Polkinghorn, the quantum physicist who also became a priest in the CofE, because he is the best refutation to Dawkins – that one cannot be a scientist and a Christian.

Well, I went and just ordered his biography …

  • Sober_Thinking

Thank you for posting this Scoop. MUCH appreciated!

Now more than perhaps ever before, this message of hope needs to get out. I pray that we would humble ourselves and be obediant and that God will continue to send us out to reach a dark world for Him. What a blessing it is to do the Lord’s work. I pray that the Lord won’t allow me to harden my heart and become useless.

RZIM is one of my favorite sites. Post election I found myself there often. My problem is I understand Ravi while I am listening but I cannot share his wisdom regardless how often I listen.

RAVI ZACHARIAS!! He is the biggest influence on my life on how I understand and defend Christianity (academically/apologetically speaking).

Now…To walk out what God is trying to teach me……. :)

It is the first time I have ever heard of this person, Wonderful and Humanistic view of the ultimate Love for all peoples and religions, tolerance explained and lived.

Ravi giving creedence to the ‘Alpha’ course is tragic. This man made course lays some truth alongside error, and promotes the demonic manifestations of the Toronto “blessing”. Pure flesh is the centerpiece of the Toronto spectacle, and therefore it is to be rejected ‘prima facie’. The only worship that God will accept is that which is “in spirit and in truth.” The worship which God accepts is totally opposed to fleshly (soulish) manifestations. I would be interested to know if this synagogue would defend the doctrine of holiness, and biblical marriage (indissoluable until death)? Ravi has too many ‘flatterers’ around him.

  • Judefour

    Ravi misleads in regard to ‘love’, and the meaning of salvation. The only love that is real, is that which scripture defines. Biblical love regards the soul, and is “in deed and in truth”. The “truth” is “after godliness”, which is the power to do the will of God and carry the cross of self denial. The blessed apostle defines love for us;

By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. (1Jn 5:2-3)

Jesus sacrifice is not tailored to an individual, but available to the whole human race, in order to change him from “darkness to light and from the power of satan to God.”

  • Judefour

Ravi missed the critical principle of ‘repentance’. Jesus says that without a “godly sorrow”, you won’t repent unto life. Jesus and the Baptist both preached ‘repentance’ as the central plea to the unregenerate. The only sacrifice that God will not despise, is the ‘broken heart’ and the ‘contrite spirit’. Jesus said; Blessed are the poor in spirit and blessed are they that mourn.
