RED MEAT: Newt Gingrich delivers a heaping dose of smackdown to Piers Morgan

My only regret about this is that I didn’t see this live because it was unbelievably awesome. No commentary needed, just watch (h/t: Hotair):

I don’t smoke, but I feel like I need a cigarette after that. Wow, that’s the best slab of smackdown I’ve seen laid in a long time.

Is that idiot morgan even a citizen of the U.S.? What a smug know nothing.
And the word jack ass comes to mind with that idiot morgan.

I just saw this from Scoop:

I don’t smoke, but I feel like I need a cigarette after that. Wow, that’s the best slab of smackdown I’ve seen laid in a long time.

That has to be one of the best quotes ever!! 🙂

    • Where did you see it, is it on twitter or something?

(Have a twitter account but clueless on how to use it properly)

      • badbadlibs

It’s at the bottom of the screen on this page.

        • (ah!… groan….) slaps self… Idiot.. me! I see it now. That’s what I get for posting before reading the entire piece.. 🙁

          • badbadlibs

No slap needed. I do the same thing all the time!

      • Unless you are Will Rogers or Henny Youngman, tweeting 140 character messages will communicate little of substance.

  • RosiesSeeingRed

Standing ovation!!!!!!!!!!!! Way to go Newt!

    • badbadlibs

I watched it twice, I may watch many times today just for the sheer joy of seeing a liberal nitwit put in his place!

      • sno_warrior

Did you see the smirk on Morgans face? It happened a couple times. He KNEW that he was being smacked! 🙂

        • badbadlibs

Yes, I saw the smirks. I doubt he will have Newt on again for further spankings. 🙂

  • Stephen walker

Newt beat’s Piers like he was a rented mule, and Piers can only sit there gobsmacked and take it. Kind of like the way Barack Obama responded to this beatdown by Paul Ryan

    • LOL. well done.

    • 3boojums

anyone who uses the word “gobsmacked”, is OK with me. what a treat to hear Newt again

  • mike3e4r7

A little bit of tough love for Piers Morgan.

  • Wow! Newt blew that Brit Ponce Morgan out of the WATER! I love watching/reading Newt speak! He is a gem!

Now, hands up… Who among you were, like me, making a fist and struggling not to hit your computer screen in an attempt to wipe that smug sneer of Morgan’s face? Resist I did. JUST!

    • badbadlibs

Raising hand here! morgan has some nerve comeing here and trying to school Americans on anything…And didn’t Gov. Romney get taken to the woodshed for saying something in Britian that they didn’t like???
Hypocrites, every single leftist on the planet.

      • They really are mentally ill. Too much inbreeding… Liberals! Pah!

      • I’m not a fan of Morgan, but he did have good interviews with Santorum, and he did stick up for Romney in England. Can’t Morgan see what Socialism has done to his own country, let alone Europe in general? The Liberal/progressive media is living in their elitist dreamworld.

        • Nukeman60

What Piers actually sees is that if he either allows a conservative to talk or he agrees with them, then his ratings rise tenfold. Now, if he could only bring himself and his network to actually turn from the darkside, that would be something.

But, alas, tomorrow, he’ll say something utterly irrational and insanely stupid and be right back where he started.

        • sDee

Maybe the UK only exported their second string marixst propagandists over here?

          • p m

No-one else will have ’em – that Martin Bashir is the very worst of the lot, IMO. Utterly pernicious little rat.

        • nibblesyble

Piers is entertaining, and I really think he respects Newt and that is why he let him speak instead of shutting him down. Think if he was on Bill0 last night instead..constant interruptions!

        • badbadlibs

I saw his interview with Justice Scalia….the smugness was on high drive that night.
Morgan can’t see what socialism is doing because he’s got more money then he knows what to do with. It’s those of us who live pay check to pay check that feel it, the left just pretends to be concerned. I say pretend because if they really did feel for the poor they would put their own money where their mouths are.
If you’re as wealthy as morgan, you can afford to live in a dreamworld. His dream world is my nightmare.

    • BS61

      Resist we much!

    • meyou

what’s his name would say, ‘resist we much’ what ever happened to that dude???

    • pdxlady

I believe the term is, “resist we much.” 😀

    • BikerHoop

Oo… Oo… I’ve got both hands up! I had to put the up and lock them behind my head to restrain myself.

    • librtifirst

I can’t afford a new TV, so that is a good limiting factor. 🙂

What we need is 3D projection so we can swipe away.

  • Sandra123456

To sum up, Barack Obama is a poverty pimp, and the MSM applauds that.

    • But… but.. I thought he was Mr. Foodstamp? Oh wait… He can be both! 🙂

  • Dennis Shumate

Superb. Newt makes Piers appear constipated.

    • meyou

Wouldn’t it be nice if he (et al) could receive a colon clense and become true, God and liberty-loving conservatives????

    • Linky1

That’s Piers’ normal look, as he is full of you-know-what!!!!!!!

  • “standing ovation”

  • odin147

Does it matter how rich the rich are getting if I can get rich too ?. Does it matter if I can afford a decent standard of living, pay for my kids education, pay for groceries ?. In the end it is about the standard of living not how rich the rich are.

    • RosiesSeeingRed

How right you are. The liberals see one pie and try to force everyone somewhere in it. Conservatives see as many pies as capitalism can bake!

      • 3seven77

        That’s a great line Rosie!

      • p m

        Oh, very nicely said!

    • StandProudNow

For the left it is more about knocking down the “evil and greedy” rich than elevating the standard of living for the poor and middle class.

  • MiketheMarine

We should deport that pinhead to his quais-socialist Great Britain.

  • Joe

I am elated that the talent of the Republican Party is FINALLY showing up and knocking the heck out of these idiots

The expression on Morgan’s face was priceless.

    No cigarette for me !

I had to take a cold shower!

  • 99Dual99Citizan99

Thank you for posting this “take-down” Right Scoop. You are right, I think it is a “masterpiece.”

  • mike3e4r7

“The fundemental debate will come down to…Wheter the Republicans can sell to the American people that they are really concerned about jobs ….if their also scratching the backs of their rich and wealthy members, which is clearly the flaw, I think, in the Ryan plan.” Want to give some evidence that what you’re saying is true Piers? or are you
just talking out of your a-s again.

    • p m

Piers must be BFF with Tina Brown, another English wanker. They only absorb the dregs of whatever passes for leftist wankerism and then spew it on air. Must feel natural for them after helping destroy once Great Britian.

  • Dukehoopsfan

Hey Mitt! Here’s a new TV spot for you. Thanks Scoop!

  • Nukeman60

That’s my man, Newt! Always with his finger on the pulse of the problem, and not afraid to say it.

Rather than asking the rich to pay their fair share, perhaps the politicians should just stop spending their exorbitant share. That would help.

There are two things that have put us in the European doldrums that we can’t seem to get out of – 1) our politicians’ excessive spending, and 2) the outrageously lavish public sector union benefits.

Eliminate these two wasteful monsters and the economy comes roaring back, jobs spring up everywhere, government doesn’t collapse in on itself and people don’t have to suffer any tax increases.

    • WordsFailMe

Public Sector Union- heart of the problem with the economy and government failure to perform

      • sDee

Public sector unions must be abolished – in order to survive, they and their politicians must inevitably take over government. It literally is us or them.

  • m0r0

Fantastic. Piers is easy pickin’ for the Newt.

  • denbren52

Morgan just sat there with that pompous smirk on his face while Newt went to town on the obvious socialist bias of Morgan and the rest of the left-leaning media.

  • Arrrggghhh

    Newt: Chief of Staff?

    • I’d hate having Newt as my COS if I was the President. Why? Because you’d get this incredibly long list of stuff to do, and you’d groan, knowing that you would actually get nearly all of it done.

Women do that to me all the time. It’s totally exhausting.

      • You’ve never seen my “honey do” list have you? (smiles)

      • Arrrggghhh

Good point. How about Press Secretary?

        • 3boojums

          FANTASTIC !!!

    • Sandra123456

      …or Press Secretary…

      • RosiesSeeingRed

I agree, no one handles the hostile media better than Newt.

      • Arrrggghhh

Watching those libtard reporters get smacked down constantly for their stupid questions would be absolutely priceless.

    • I beleive Newt will a major part of the Romney presidency.
We need to insure that Romney/Ryan have the smartest most active people available, not just talking heads with no brains.
It is going to take alot of very smart people to clean up the mess obama will leave behind.

      • Arrrggghhh

I agree completely. If they win, it is also going to be extremely important to hold them accountable. Although Obama has been an absolute disaster, our current problems have also been the result of bad policies and decisions by prior administrations and congresses from both parties. Obama has added almost $6 trillion in debt, but there was already $10.6 when he took over. The days of giving the republican establishment a pass are over.

      • 3boojums

dream on !!! Newt and Romney are “oil and water”. look at the clip again. when have you EVER had such an enjoyable few minutes listening to Romney?

      • Joanna Jenkins

OMgsh…..can you imagine the fall out….with Newt, Cain, West, Rubio, and Palin in high positions……AND……Sheriff Arapao (sp?) heading up homeland security????? we might just get America back, and the minorities’ eyes opened up…..Rev Graham could die in peace….and maybe, just maybe we could live in it!!

  • WordsFailMe

Pierce is a better moderator than I thought. He allowed another human to finish a thought. I’ll give him “one snap up” for that.

Hate to admit it, but I’m still Newt-erred. I love this guy’s mind. We need to keep Newt on the scent.

  • marketcomp

What a deserved smackdown! There is no question that Newt is the best at deciphering the liberal argument and agenda. The first Food stamp President! Now that is creative and true.

  • Sober_Thinking

    Newt: Concise, accurate, honest.

    Piers: Dead wrong, liar, delusional.

    • M_J_S

You forgot British and annoying…oh wait, they are one in the same.

      • Sober_Thinking

        Lol… 🙂

  • white531

Newt is just pure entertainment whenever he is front of a microphone. One of the reasons I wanted to see him debate Obama. Oh well, maybe next time.

  • M_J_S

Now if Romney can just say this or some variation of this at one of the debates (or all for that matter).

  • las1

Never never NEVER ever can get enough of Newt.

I’m so happy Romney is using him.

  • Check mate.

  • LiveFreeOrDie2012

The only thing that would have been better would have been an admission that Piers has not read any of Ryan’s proposals or budgets. We need to start confronting these morons and getting these admissions and then asking what they are basing authority they are basing their lies on here.

  • nibblesyble

Thanks Scoop! I watched this last night on Newsbusters, and went to bed with a smile on my face…that is how you shut up a liberal!!

  • MJScanlonOH

Those comments from Newt are simply elegant, eloquent and straight forward. Bravo! More please!!!!

  • Newt: tanned, ready, rested.

That was a good exposition by Newt, on just how painful four more years of Obama would be.

    • nibblesyble

I know…Newt looked so healthy and a bit off the campaign trail is treating him nicley.

  • Sandra123456

FOX News should consider hiring Newt for his own hour show weeknights at 7 PM to replace Shep Smith.

Bet Newt would set new ratings records there.

    • It’s out 4pm show here on the East coast… But yeah… if Newt was on… I’d watch his show every single day! Shep… nah… Good suggestion Sandra! I wish Fox would listen to you!

    • nibblesyble

I would loooove that, but after Newt rightly called them out for their pro-Romney bias..just can’t see it.

    • I love Newt because he showed in the debates he will fight for us–I am so glad he’s not being shut down, still out there fighting. For the longest time I have been saying that Romney should hire him for his ability to deflect the oppositions attacks—BUT, I like your idea better—-get rid of Bob Beckel and hire Newt!

    • 3boojums

They didn’t like Newt much after he trounced Bret Baire. what’s changed ?

  • welltempered2

Epic. Unfortunatly in one ear and out the other.

  • mder4thegov

Love Newt, but when he said he was caught off guard by Romney’s attacks–in the FL debate, I was done with him. How could a guy, who spent his entire adult life in politics, not be prepared for such a thing? It was inexplicable.

    • nibblesyble

Romney was ruthless with his take-down of Santo and Newt..I don’t blame Newt at all for faltering..he is human after all.

    • 3boojums

it was almost as though he “threw”” the Fla debate. don’t know why he would, but his actions were odd

  • Boom Roasted!!! — Michael Scott, Regional Manager at Dunder Mifflin – Scranton

  • anneinarkansas

That smirk on Morgan’s sissy face made me want to slap him. He was no match for Newt!!!

  • Joengima

This is why Newt Gingrich should have had a speaking slot at the Convention.

If he isn’t part of Romney’s Administration, then I strongly suggest Gingrich is made head of the Republican National Committee. This is how the GOP should fight back against the media. That is how you fight against Left wing attacks and still promote Conservatism.

In terms of a show, I want Newt Gingrich and Sarah Palin to co-host a show together. Hopefully on Fox News however Gingrich hasn’t been on Fox News since Newt stated how FNC was in for Romney, so I doubt he’ll be allowed back on with a show of his own.

As for his Presidential Campaign. Yes the Florida debates ruined him, but then when you have FNC, Limbaugh, Malkin, Coulter, Republican Establishment, Glenn Beck, Savage, Drudge Report, and $20+ Millions of attack ads against you, bashing you, lying about you; I’m surprised he didn’t lose by more than JUST 10 points.

I still remember Brit Hume on FNC after the South Carolina win, “With Newt Gingrich the GOP could lose the House.” sigh.

The only fair one was Hannity, and Levin defended him against the NRO Reagan attacks.

    • nibblesyble

And Greta..she was perhaps even better than Hannity. As for Hume, I have not looked at him the same since…

      • Joengima

        You’re right, Greta too.

I do wonder though, when will the Newt ban at Fox be ended? I’m sure I’m not the only one noticing that he hasn’t been on with anyone at the FNC.

        • nibblesyble

I know..they are missing out. I know Greta still puts him up on gretawire…I miss seeing him more.

  • WOW!!!!

  • HEY, Right Scoop. Give us the link or html code, please!

  • I saw this in the early morning Israel time, it made my whole day.
    Nooooooooot! 🙂

    • nibblesyble

Cool….love that Scoop attracts conservatives all over the world! Especially our friend Israel!

      • Thanks, and hey.. It’s a war out there! Got to be informed and this is one of the best.

  • Dodoforever Canspell

Wow, fantastic !! If only he had been as passionate about fidelity, he might have been where Mitt Romney now stands

    • 3seven77

I’m so glad to finally read a comment from someone who’s led a *perfect* life. Tell us, how did you manage to never, ever sin?

  • Awesome. Newt at his best. He has an amazing command of the numbers and stats. Actually, kind of like Paul Ryan…. Interesting…

  • Im_Rick_James

Boom goes the dynamite! I know I’m preaching to the choir on here, but does everyone notice how clearly and simply the truth comes out when it’s spoken? As opposed to the lies and obfuscations of the left which none of them can seem to say without flubbing their lines in some way. I’m glad it’s Mitt, but I would still LOVE to see Newt debate obama – I think obama would probably cry, then take his ball and go home…

  • KenInMontana

I wonder if they had to duct tape Piers to his chair so he could finish the show after that smackdown?

  • Thank you, Newt. Kick Piers in the teeth. Keep going after them, there are so many of them in line, hope you get them all. What a bunch of dumb skunks. Worst president ever, but not everybody can see it. That’s the shame.

  • Orangeone

Wow, go get ’em Newt! Since I cannot reply to badbadlibs below, I’ll reply here. Piers Morgan is a Brit. Britain is very heavily taxed and has huge gov’t handouts. That is what he is used to and believes in. The US went to war to break from the Brits because we do not believe in living under gov’t rule. My question is whether Piers Morgan pays taxes in the US?

  • Rightstuff1

Newt is priceless !!!! When you want someone to knock it out of the park call in the number one batsman !!!!

  • Army_Pilot1967

Get ’em, Newt. I wasn’t all that fond of Larry King, but Piers Morgan is making me miss Larry a bit. But then again, I never watched King and I sure won’t watch Morgan. I’d rather watch paint dry on a wet, humid day than to watch that boob on the tube!!!

    Go Romney/Ryan!!!!

  • I found it amusing that he kept saying “Ryan-Romney plan”.

  • anyonebutbarry2012

Newt is a smart man, good speaker,Ivoted for him in my primary.
Newt always has the stats , facts on top of his head and puts the libs right in their place when they need to be.

  • stage9

After watching Newt, why did why nominate Obamney again instead of him?

    • buzzkill59

Because Newt has too much baggage and is a little hot tempered!I do love hearing him speak though!I especially love to see him smack down liberals! This one was awesome!Gonna light a cigar and watch again, maybe several times!

    • kong1967

Newt has skeletons in his closet that would help bury him. I voted for him, but only because the three that were left were all bad. I take that back. Newt isn’t bad, but he has done some things that even piss me off as a conservative. One is working for Fannie and Freddie in the GSE that lobbied Congressional Republicans to get on board to bloating the housing market and supporting the banks. He admitted to being behind the effort to bloat the housing market which created the bubble. That’s no small mistake.

  • Maxsteele

mmm, I do not think I need to eat dessert today because Newt just served up something very delicious!

I just saw this clip in another site, and came here to make sure it was posted.
NO ONE explains the difference between O-BLAME-O/Bite ME/PROGS and Romney/Ryan/CONSERVATIVES better than NEWT.

N-O O-N-E !!!!! Please argue with yourself or the trolls.

Won’t go in to the NEWT was the man aginst PREZI, not MItt stuff, but come on, when this man is ON,
there is nobody better. Some days he says stupid stuff, and some days he is misnderstood.

WE are all worried now aren’t we?

LIKE the MOON BASE stuff. When NEWT says it, Chris Matthews goes BEZERK .
When a lefty scientist says it, it is profound thinking.

We have to have it, and that Mars mission, that could not afford to fail (one shot, or program failure) shows and will show how valuable this sort of TECH stuff is worth.

Without it, the AMERICAN lead in science will falter, as it is already happening with CLINTON/BUSH/PROGS and on the skid row bus with OBOZO/PROGS.

I frequently skip over speeches by most POLS, especially Oh-uh-oh, but Mitt was fun to watch this weekend and seems to have more spark with REAGAN/KEMP deciple RYAN.

NEWT is a force of nature, and does carry a lot of info in that big head of his, but it is his HISTORY knowlege that does it for him and his teaching ability.

I have seen him give speeches to youngsters (conservatives), mostly C-SPAN, that are just inspired by him, and he always makes sure they all get a picture at the end, and says so before his speeches rap up.

If they pay his for his speech time, he is worth every penny, and MITT should make sure he is advising or running something if he wins in November.

Hey, I lked Beck but was losing some trust in him, and when he called out NEWT for being a PROGRESSIVE (because he admired progressive presidents and grew big government) he was toast to me. BTW, Beck is still fading and becoming irrelavant, except to his followers, and I know what that feels like to “follow”.

NEWT is relavant, probably until he stops breathing, and he has a lot of work out there that will live on. I don’t think he ever dis-liked REAGAN (all lies), just pushed him to be greater and was a kindred spirit.

    • nibblesyble

      Right on!

  • TheresaAK

Whoohoo!!! If only Newt were the one debating obama…he would wipe the floor with that community gangster

    • kong1967

On the same token, there’s a lot of baggage with him that Obama could wipe the floor with.

      • TheresaAK

You mean like doing cocaine and making up stories about white women he dated, or the shady associations he has that got him into certain circles, or his spiritual “mentor”, or his lies in his autobiographies, that kind of baggage?

Didn’t think so, some people see Newt’s personal life as baggage and give obama’s ties to terrorists a pass…

Nope, can’t have someone like Newt…no, no…obama has so much more “integrity” after all, while rumored he is gay, Newt has been married a couple of times…/sarc

        • kong1967

“Didn’t think so, some people see Newt’s personal life as baggage and give obama’s ties to terrorists a pass…”

You’re putting words in my mouth. The baggage I was referring to about Newt has nothing to do with his divorce or his personal life. It doesn’t matter how bad Obama is, it’s about who we want to represent us with respect.

I would much rather have Newt in the Oval Office than Obama, but I was just saying there are reasons why he lost.

          • TheresaAK

Yes there are reasons why he lost…and the Mittens campaign can be thanked for that.

            • nibblesyble

              Amen..tell it sister!

            • kong1967

Well, hopefully Obama will lose because of “Mitten’s” campaign. As long as the attacks against Newt weren’t lies then the fault still lies with Newt…..not Romney.

          • Right now, “who we want to represent us with respect” is irrelevant. We’ve already had the contest to determine who’s going to “represent us” as Republicans and conservatives in the general election, and for better or worse, Governor Romney came out on top in that contest.

And yes, how bad Obonzo is DOES matter. Anyone who considers himself a conservative but doesn’t vote for the Romney/Ryan ticket in November is stubborn and foolish, and should be held personally responsible for America’s demise as a free nation if Obonzo wins.

Personally, I wanted Senator Santorum to win the nomination. I honestly believed he was the best candidate in the field. But throughout the nomination campaign, I also maintained that when it comes to articulating conservative principles and the conservative vision, Speaker Gingrich has absolutely no peer. He certainly proved it–again–with his total rhetorical power-slam of that idiotic limey Piers Morgan. It was an absolutely breathtaking sight to behold.

            • kong1967

I wasn’t referring to now. There was a comment about Newt and I just pointed out there are reasons why he lost….in the past. She was referring to Newt’s baggage as if I would rather vote for Obama than Newt, which was a complete lie. In the primaries the baggage (for me) was sitting on the couch with Pelosi supporting the liberal green energy propaganda, getting paid by Fannie and Freddie through a GSE to lobby Republicans to get on board to their BS, big government solutions, and etc. I still voted for Newt, but I wasn’t too happy about it.

I know there’s nothing we can do now, but in the primaries it was relevant, which is what I was referring to.

I am voting for Romney and I’m not holding my nose to do so. I’ve actually grown to like the guy, and I would vote for him even if I didn’t because Obama must not be allowed another four years to destroy this country….period.

  • maynardb50

How can Piers begin to think he knows anything about the USA?? He apparently fled his
home country and now tries to act as though he has knowledge of American culture!
What a piece of garbage he is. Go home Piers!!

    • kong1967

He’s not that bad. He respectfully let Newt speak, didn’t he? When’s the last time you saw a liberal let a conservative explain why the conservative model creates more jobs and Obama’s model destroys jobs? I can’t remember a single time.

Sometimes I wonder if he does this on purpose to give conservatives a chance to hit a home run. He didn’t try to prevent the home run and let Newt deliver it, and I respect him for that much at least.

      • maynardb50

I will give you that. He is no Chris Mathews.

  • kong1967

I give Piers credit for allowing Romney to speak. Most other liberal hosts cut the conservatives off and yell over them so the conservative view isn’t heard.

How does the saying go? Cut off your nose to spite your face? This is what happens when the voters don’t understand what drives the economy. They look at the guy making $10 an hour and say it isn’t fair that he’s struggling while Romney is raking in the dough. So they set out to make it more fair by taking Romney’s money (representing the rich). They don’t understand that the Romney’s create those $10 an hour jobs, those $50 an hour jobs, and those $1 million dollar salaries. What’s worse is they don’t understand that punishing the rich job creators “trickles down” to the $10 an hour jobs. They won’t be there or they will be eliminated.

Voters don’t understand this, but politicians do. They don’t care. It’s not about enlargening the middle class or raising people out of welfare. It’s about creating more dependents to control. Voters better wake up and realize they are voting themselves out of jobs in the name of fairness. Self destructive. They are willing to punish the poor as long as they punish the rich and look like Robin Hood. Disgusting.

    • Actually it really is about “crushing” the middle class if you want to change America!

      • kong1967

Lol, that’s a good point. I was thinking along the lines that they aren’t out to help the middle class, but you are more accurate in saying they actually want to destroy the middle class. Thanks for the correction.

    PURE conservative porn.

We like it when Gov Chris Christi slams the progs around, but he does it with force
of voice, size and clarity. For some reason the room always shakes a little and people need to change their underwear.

NEWT kind of plucks out one nose hair at a time and smiles the whole time always showing he KNEW IN ADVANCE HE was going to punk them and it is video for us to enjoy !

NEWSTER turns common sense into a weapon and MITT should take notes.

Go back and watch old REAGAN tapes (Mitt needs to learn the HEAD-TILT move), makes my eyes water after being expose to El DEMONDO OBOZO.

And BTW, what rock did this Stepanie Cutter crawl out from? We already had Debbie WAS-A-MAN Shultz to deal with, how bad is this going to get?

Here comes Bite-me with chains, I should stop asking silly questions.

    • RosiesSeeingRed

Plucks out one nose hair at a time — gotta love it!

    • 3boojums

one nose hair at a time——GREAT!!!

  • proudhispanicconservative

!!!!!! We are out in force taking the liberal talking points….

  • Way to go Newt! It is indeed time to stand up and tell it like it is about Obama and his warped ideas and administration!

  • PVG

BRAVO! This is why I love Newt!

  • AmericatheBeautiful_1

A political leader who tells the truth! Good ole Newt!

  • BikerHoop

Biff!! Bam!! Bop!! Holy smackdown, Batman, I don’t think he’s gonna get up!!

  • nibblesyble

I just watched him again..I hope and pray we see him out there every night making mincemeat out of the media…Romney needs it!

  • Romney and Ryan should hire Newt to assist them in messaging and as a debate coach. He is a master and slapping down these liberal reporters and pundits…. and all of the debate moderators are liberals.

  • Linky1

    Oh, yeah, Newt the Pitbull!

If Romney wins, Newt HAS to be press secretary!!!! 🙂

  • PatriotInk

Piers Morgan’s countenance constantly looks like he smells something odorous while he is speaking. -PI

  • Cutaway shot to Piers showed him grinning wanly while having his statement thrown back in his teeth. I wonder what that body language really meant? We do not have the retort by Piers or the hemming and hawing and throat clearing that must have been part of it.

  • proudhispanicconservative

Now why has newt not been given a speaking slot at the convention?. Now that is what you call a smackdown, what gives me more hope is that our side is responding questions with conservative answers, as long as we continue to not pander we will win. Also credit to the RNC for also fighting not trying to be dignified like McCain, yes thats why we lost not because of Sarah Palin.

  • patriotbens

Nobody can frame the debate like Newt!!! Pure genius!!

  • Sandar1

OMG someone with some clout says it like it really is…

  • I will vote for MITT! But, I hate that Newt had so much “baggage” that the Dems could distract the campaign with. What I would have given to see obama debate Newt. I hate that they paid trash to lie about Herman; and thank you Herman for having the courage not to put your family through that. What I would have given to see obama debate Herman. We had a great selection of candidates; too bad we could not have a Presidential Committee and let them elect a Chairman. The wisdom of this group could solve ANY problem. There is no choice….VOTE OBAMA OUT OF OFFICE. SAVE OUR NATION! GOD BLESS AMERICA, AGAIN!

  • Sorgy

…AND from a BRIT! How ‘cheeky’ is that? Why doesn’t he go home? What is it he finds superior in the US from (formerly) Great Britain? At least he isn’t from Greece…or Spain…or Ireland…or Portugal…or the ENTIRE SOVIET UNION…how many failures of centralized governmental socialism do they have to see to realize it DOESN’T WORK! People are NOT better off under socialism…that is WHY they all come here!

  • xiaoxiaobin746

  • Brilliant! This reminds me of why I’ve always liked Newt.

  • Piers:

Have you listened to yourself and are you hearing what you’re saying, your tone – do you see the look on your face?

Piers, I’m sure your answer to these questions is a resounding yes.

Piers, have you checked your ratings recently – do that right after you take the smirk and pierced lip look off of your face.

Piers, your a has been, and have been since the day you first appeared on TV in the U.S.

and this is coming from your predecessor
