Reince Priebus: I was surprised when Cruz dropped out

Reince Priebus told CNN this morning that he was surprised when Cruz dropped out last night, pointing out how gracious it was but difficult at the same time:

Of course Reince is going to call for unity. He’s the RNC Chairman and it’s his job to try and pull the party together.

But considering the scorched-earth campaign that Trump ran to get to this point, I just don’t see that unity happening…at least for a good while.

And honestly, I’m not sure it really matters. I just don’t see Trump winning in November anymore.
