It is amazing that BO knows anything about anything when by his own admission he knows nothing about anything.
The theory that is evolving is that Petraeus was being pressured by the administration (read:blackmailed) to go along with their version of events at Benghazi but he decided at great personal grief and loss to make the story public by resigning thus removing the administration's hold over him. This now leaves him free to tell the truth if asked, without reservation. Also, if he does testify truthfully and the administration retaliates it would lend credence to the blackmail theory and suppression of facts by the white house.
CNN spins that Obama wasn't notified until after election. This is just plain BS. they already stated that Eric Holder knew months ago. There is no way in he11 Holder didn't tell Obama. Finstein is complaining the intelligence committee's weren't told and rightfully so. I suppose this is an accident to. This smells to high heaven and we'd better hope the few in the House who actually have any guts will still subpoena Petraeus about Bengazi.

benghazi is bad.... i like peter king, trust him. i like to know about huma abedin. funny how with her ties she gets a security clearance in our state dept... and we never hear about it again . when bachman and panel ask about this.

King is still talking as if he believes that Obama and the White House did not know about this affair until after the election. I do not believe that for one minute. He had to have known and if he did not know, it's just like Benghazi, he is incompetent and needs to leave the office. Or else, he (Obama) is part of a much larger cover up and conspiracy. I also was astounded when Sen Feinstein stated in her interview with Chris Wallace that this affair was not related to Benghazi. I thought, how can she be so sure, she just found out about on Friday. If she is going into this investigation with that preconceived attitude we will never get to the truth. Finally, I do not understand why Petreaus' testimony this week was cancelled. They need to get him up there talking before something happens to him.
As more and more of this comes out, I'm convinced now more than ever that the White House is setting up Petraeus as the fall guy for EVERYTHING that happened in Libya. Forget about the fact that the ambassador in Libya was literally begging the State Department for more security right up until the day he died on 9/11. That is all going away now. Now this will all become "an intelligence failure" and will be dumped on Petraeus. Sad to see this guy get the blame for all the mistakes Obama and Clinton made. I just hope he stands up for himself before Congress.

I hope she is not some kind of spy paid by Russia. I understand she is scorned by the possibility of Petraeus having a new lover but to have classified docs on her computer may mean she has other motives other than to make him sing her song including the possibility that her loyalty is not completely to the US!!

I wonder how she got them. Apparently the CIA doesn't use email accounts at all and it sounded like his G-mail was for personal use. He says he did not share docs with her.
I had to watch this 3 times to be sure I heard this from MSNBC. But then again, it allows them to let sex trump 4 dead Americans, two of whom were brave Navy Seals who tried to save the 2 who decided to remain in Benghazi after 230 security incidents.

When Petraeus came out with that statement about the attack being tied to the video, I knew the Obama Regime had something on him. Now we know what it is...
Yes, and he also later stated that nobody at the CIA, at any level, refused to provide help. So if he gave orders to provide assistance and someone else said not to, that desist order would have to come from someone higher up his chain of command. And that would be Ovomit.
I suspect that it is SOP for the regime to have people who are potential "wildcards" investigated. In this case Petraeus may have been ready to wander off the reservation so the regime played their card. I suspect that his bank account just grew by a substantial number as well. I hope representative King and his committee adopt a "no prisoners" mentality when pursuing answers to this entire cluster f-ck.

As Rush was saying this morning, Petreaus sure is being treated differently than Clinton was when that high level official had a fling with a young woman.
And it isn't Petreaus' affair that is the most egregious scandal - it is everything that led up to and including the murders in Benghazi. That is what should have been exposed prior to the election.
It has never been more clear that we are in need of a Speaker of the House who is in possession of brass balls and the courage of his convictions. Boehner? Boehner??...................... crickets!
Hey, I read that Cantor was informed about the situation on October 31st. He passed it on to Clapper after that did nothing other than wait.
Cantor is Boehner's right hand man and is just as much to blame for all the inaction as Boehner. I never say one name without saying the other when referring to the Republican leadership.
I heard that too and was upset with him at first.
It sounds bad on it's face, but Cantor may have been smart to throw the hot potato back to the Dems to handle. What would he have accomplished, really, by releasing the info to the press? The affair in and of itself does not impact the president. I think it would have given the media something to beat the Republicans up with if he had exposed it directly.
How do others feel about this not being immediately published?
I would like to see them catch the ball and run with it too. I hope they put their all into getting testimony from both Petreaus and Hillary whether the WH uses their blocking power or not.
I like the idea, but at some point in time the Republicans have got to stop thinking about that aspect and take the offensive. They are always playing defense. That is why we lost. We are always losing because almost all of the Republicans are afraid of the MSM. The more I think about it and the more Rush talks about the 'consultants' telling the party what to do, the more I think we need another party that actually stands up and articulates what being an American really means. I want these Republicans to make Brono Bamma's life a living h*ll.

Well, I am a self-confessed history buff, and I do like to sing out when I find parallels in history. I've read a huge amount of books, so what I've learned isn't something picked up in college, or even taught in a course.
Therefore, I think I've got a responsibility to share what I know, when applicable.
