It’s a tough call, but I’ll give the Ohio Senator the benefit of the doubt and call him a dishonest ideologue.
Either way, the sad truth is that the Democrat Party is chock full of shameless demagogues like Sherrod Brown who have no intention of ever reforming our fiscally doomed entitlement programs. They’ll just keep right on shoveling more and more borrowed taxpayer dollars into the furnace, while demonizing Republicans who come up with ideas to actually try and save these programs from certain implosion. I guess they think this is good politics or something.
