Let's pray it was a wise decision and not like Afghanistan where the US trained Afghan troops and some of them killed our veterans. We live in a screwed up world and by doing this just adds to the confusion. Is this part of cutting the military budget, I don't think so. Any cuts to the military budget MUST be stopped dead in it's tracks.

Arming the enemies of our Friend Israel, so he can say that made peace in the middle east, Arming the Muslim Brotherhood radical president of Egypt so he can go and kill Jew's, so he can sell his obsolete military equipment to Hamas so they can wage war against Israel.. So our Illustrious leader has indeed chosen to arm the middle east and prepare them for war, instead of diffusing the situation and prepare them for a peaceful coexistence. Good Job Obama.. This has been going on for decades. All the sophisticated anti air, radars, tanks, planes that we've sent to Egypt was promptly pointed in Israel's direction. Our SOF guys are still training their troops and SF.
The real question is why are we continuing to do it now?
(the threat that this equipment poses might not be as bad as it might look at first blush - the Egyptians are incapable of maintaining their tanks and planes, that is done by US contractors...were a balloon to go up, we'd only really need to pull our contractors out and the equipment would grind to a halt).

The people, In what must have sent shock waves,to every Despot ,Including the ones here in Washington and their Bankster ( Rockefeller/Rotschild ) overlords, stormed the gates of the Presidential Palace the other day and drove Morsi and his staff into hiding. Don't for one second think that Obama/Reid/Pelosi and company and BoehnerMcConnell/Jeb /Rove and company, aren't in at least a slight Panic over the "Peasants storming the Gates" aspect and what it might imply in the future,for our Overlord's over here. Those weapons might find there way very soon into the re-liberated Freedom loving Egyptian people. Things are not going exactly to plan in either Egypt or syria for Obama and his handlers.

What's Obama going to say about his buddy Morsi when Morsi starts using brutal force on his own people? I am a very strong believer that Obama pushed the Arab Spring so Islam could take over secular dictators. The story of "democracy" was a sham from the beginning. I read an article during the Arab Spring where a reporter interviewed top members of the Muslim Brotherhood and they said they were going to lay low until the leaders were toppled, then they were going to jump to power. Yet, the Obama administration seemed completely unaware and they still call it a Democracy. Does anyone...other than stupid liberals....believe this is a democracy or that there will ever be another election? Morsi will have to be forcefully removed and Sharia Law will have to be aborted.

I have said it before, this is planned chaos with an economic motivation. Just giving them the tools of death. Israel is only the enemy because they are the lone beacon of freedom and democracy in the region. Much the same as the USA and why we must be neutralized from within. Religious belief is just a tool. Obama may side with the Muslims but he is more than willing too give them the tools to kill each other. Why? The vast natural resources of the African Continent will be plundered by the New World Order. A new economic recovery for the insanely wealthy. Barrack the magic man, claiming he is for the middle class and wants to tax the rich, is slight of hand. He is married to the Banksters, the NWO and Global Corporate interests. Our real fear should be that he is over matched, playing in the big league, and that he and we are being "played" as a result. They use his ideology and narcissism against him. How in God's name did he get reelected? Doesn't it seem like the game was fixed, up to and including his opponent?

The Egyptian economy collapses sparking protests. The Muslim Brotherhood exploits the crisis in order to seize power. Obama and Hillary intercede and say Mubarak must go. They warn Mubarak not to use the military to restore order.
Morsi:
Muslim Brotherhood Islamist Fascist Dictator in waiting, anti-Western, actively seeks destruction of Israel. Christians are marginalized, harassed, and intimidated. Institutes theocratic rule of law as he announces Sharia will be basis of all laws. Sharia, which enslaves and oppresses woman, religious minorities, or anyone who disagrees with or speaks out against Islam.
Morsi attempts to rewrite the Egyptian Constitution, superseding the courts and the legislature, essential naming himself Pharaoh, which sparking protests. Muslim Brotherhood hires thugs to molest, rape, and intimidate. Obama and Hillary are not only silent, they decide now is the time to "modernize" Egypt's armed forces, all the while Obama is cutting America's armed service to pre-WWI levels.
Am I missing something? Or, did Obama and Hillary depose a mild-Despot to install a hostile tyrant, not only to minorities in Egypt, but one who seeks to destroy Western civilization, Christendom, and Judaism.
You missed one thing. Morsi removed the ban on slavery from the Egyptian constitution opening the door for Egypt to resume the Obama family business.

A couple of notes on this, these are not the same Abrams that are manned by US Forces, they may look similar, but looks can be deceiving. These are not equipped with the advanced fire control systems or even the same armor package. These are the "export" version. That said it won't matter that they have 1,200 of them, Israel's forces will still destroy them. Why you might ask, simple, a difference in a couple of key components, the men and women manning the Israeli tanks and their training.
I hope you're right. But there is a rumor that King Putt is also thinking of selling F-35s to Turkey and that's our most advanced VTOL fighter. I don't think there is a "export" version of that. I sure hope he doesn't do it, but I wouldn't put it past him.
Likely, in the case of the F-35, it will be like the F-14s we sold to the Shah of Iran. They will not have the advanced avionics package and will not come with spare parts, there is also the issue of training pilots and ground crews.
Addendum: That, of course, is if we sell them the aircraft, it could just be internet scuttlebutt.
There is no doubt that the commitment level and training of the Israelis goes far beyond what the Egyptian Muslims could ever have.

All these arrangements were made when Mubarak was in power. Our Muslim in chief is happy to provide his friends the Muslim Brotherhood the arms they will need when they decide to take on Israel again. It's going to happen. And Obama will once again give the orders to stand down.

Well Egypt may have the largest army in Africa, but Turkey in Asia Minor has the FIFTH largest army in the world, a fact that is lost on many people. They now want a boat load of F-35's. So Barack Hussein Obama is doing his very best to arm countries around Israel to the teeth.
