Bear in mind the accuracy of this considering there aren’t many, if anyone else reporting this yet. But if it’s true it’s definitely not good news considering it went undetected by all levels of law enforcement until after a terrorist act:

DAILY MIRROR – The FBI was last night hunting a 12-strong terrorist “sleeper cell” linked to the Boston marathon bomb brothers.

Police believe Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev were specially trained to carry out the devastating attack.

More than 1,000 FBI agents were last night working to track down the cell and arrested a man and two women 60 miles from Boston in the hours before Dzhokhar’s dramatic capture after a bloody shootout on Friday.

A source close to the investigation said: “We have no doubt the brothers were not acting alone. The devices used to detonate the two bombs were highly sophisticated and not the kind of thing people learn from Google.

“They were too advanced. Someone gave the brothers the skills and it is now our job to find out just who they were. Agents think the sleeper cell has up to a dozen members and has been waiting several years for their day to come.”

A specialist team of CIA and FBI interrogators was yesterday flown to a Boston hospital to grill wounded Dzhokhar, 19, about the secret group. The University of Massachusetts student was caught on Friday after hiding out in a boat parked in a garden in locked down Watertown the day after a gun battle with police left his 26-year-old brother and a rookie cop dead.

Dzhokhar is said to have run his brother over as he escaped in a stolen car while Tamerlan lay handcuffed on the ground. They were carrying six bombs with them at the time, three of which exploded, as well as a handgun and rifle. The devices were thought to be pipe bombs.

Last night Dzhokhar – badly wounded but alive – lay handcuffed to his hospital bed under armed guard. The other three arrested in the port of New Bedford are also believed to be of college age.

Investigators have begun piecing together how the “well-mannered” brothers of Chechen origin were radicalised. Neighbours of the family said older brother Tamerlan had recently become obsessed with Islam. He mysteriously left the US in January last year to spend six months in Russia. Yesterday senior FBI counter-terrorism official Kevin Brock said: “It’s a key thread for investigators.”

It also emerged the Bureau interviewed Tamerlan two years ago, at the request of the Russian government, but could not establish that he had ties to terrorist radicals.

This was despite his worrying Russian-language YouTube page featuring links to extremist Islamic sites and others since taken down by YouTube.

One link showed an hour-long speech by an Islamic teacher called Shaykh Feiz Mohammed, while other videos are labled “Terrorists” and “Islam”.

The radical cleric, with links to extremist British Muslims, encouraged his followers to become martyrs for Islam. He said: “Teach them this: There is nothing more beloved to me than wanting to die as a mujahid.”

Maybe if they look at some of the people whom Nero Obama has put in his administration over the last five years they might come up with more “accomplices” to the Marathon bombers than the 12 they are now pursuing, including Nero Obama himself.  Afterall of the apologizing and bowing down to and sucking up to the most miserable and ruthless Islamic dictatorships in the world such as the most recent one put in power in Cairo, and calling true acts of terrorism such as Fort Hood “workplace violence” what would you expect to happen but the emergence of “sleeper Jihadist cells” on American soil.
Maybe they should include the Saudi Arabian “student” who apparently “witnessed” the bombings and who Nero Obama wants to deport back home because he’s a threat to national security for his involvement in the Boston Marathon bombings according to what’s being reported on TheBlaze.com.  I would think that would make him an accomplice don’t you?

I like using Nero Obama because he clearly likes to “fiddle” – play golf, basketball, ect. – while America burns in fires Obama has set himself and the lamestream state-run stenographers in the media let him get away with just like the original Nero.
And I like calling “Moochelle” Obama Cleopatra Obama because not since the original Cleopatra before she fell in love with Richard Burton have we had such an astronomically high-maintenence woman in a position of power as is “Moochelle” as Rush likes to denoter her.

He should have been deported in 2010, but Obama doesn’t deport Muslims.  (He doesn’t prosecute black panthers either)

Matt2Matt  Heard obama  is deporting the first “person of interest”  for terror involvement- wondering if it was this terror attack and he’s getting a free ride home to Saudi leading families arms. Interesting to say the least,  Chechnya and Saudi are Sunni Islamists.

This doesn’t surprise me in the slightest way.  I knew those two didn’t act alone because Muslims thrive on the mob mentality.  They do not see others as individuals, they see us as a collective threat…like roaches to be stomped on…or blown to bits.  This is exactly why those who embrace Islam should not receive Constitutional civil rights unless they denounce Islam.  They cannot devoutly follow Sharia and follow the Constitution, because the two are polar opposites.  One cannot serve two masters!  They should not get “religious freedom” because their religion calls them to kill anyone who will not conform.  No other “religion” does that!

  • Stehekin912

Maybe it’s because the administration is too busy focusing on removing the Constitutional rights of American citizens, covering up Benghazi, arresting 8th graders for wearing NRA T-shirts or frightening kids who bite their toaster strudels into gun shapes.  Maybe it’s because the administration is more concerned about making our children into drones with Common Core in schools or allowing illegal aliens over our borders and giving them the same rights and priveleges as American Citizens than paying attention to terroristic actions and behaviors in our midst.  Sorry I am really doing a burn about this and also about people who are sympathetic to poor little angelic, cute, sweet, innocent, misled Terrorist #2.

    • 57thunderbird

Stehekin912 They wanted our guns so that the Imam could more easily subdue us for the Muslims takeover.

Exactly. Infidels are NOT allowed to have weapons in Islamic lands. Under the shariah it is forbidden for infidels to defend themselves. We are supposed to submit like good little dhimmis and die easily.

    • njmom

Stehekin912 The administration is part and parcel of the terrorist problem.

  • colliemum

Of course there must have been helpers – but they will already have vanished, left the country the moment the bombs went off. They are not stupid.
There have been reports for some years now how muslims have been infiltrating the administration, how material dealing with the threat of islam has been removed from Pentagon, CIA, FBI, so forth, so as not to offend.
Is it any wonder that FBI, all those security agencies, are blind to the threat of islam?
Over here, it wasn’t taken seriously either. The suicide bombers who killed so many in London in 7/7 had been ‘on the radar’ here as well, but were not regarded as serious threat, until it was too late.
It seems MI5 has learned, and they are helping the police to grab those who plan such attacks. However, in a climate where the MSM are shying away from reporting on muslim criminals, even those who groom white teenage girls for sex slavery, the security forces must be very careful not to give any ammunition the the permanently offended islamic agitators and their friends on the left, ‘human rights’ lawyers included.
It’s time to treat islam as an enemy ideology, in the same way communism and communists were treated during the cold war. Islam and sharia law are not compatible with a free, democratic society, and islam has as goal the conversion and submission under islam of the whole world, by force. Time to recognise this and act accordingly.

    • JohnCraven

colliemum, from this side of the “pond” to your side of the “pond” we both seem to have much the same problem, don’t we? – “Civilization Jihad” as someone so appropriately stated recently – I think it was Frank Gaffney but it could have been someone else.

  • Laurel A

This surprises no one. Neither of those brothers could of pulled this off by themselves.

    • libertifirst

Laurel A I actually disagree. A pressure cooker bomb would not be hard to build. It’s like loading a shotgun shell, but with a whole lot of powder. I don’t know how they detonated them, but all it takes is a little spark. It’s not rocket science.

      • Laurel A

libertifirst Laurel A No it isn’t hard…but it takes planning…a lot of planning and those two had multiple bombs as well as other weaponry which takes money.

        • libertifirst

I figure about $200 per bomb. A couple of hand guns would be a few hundred per gun. (new) It doesn’t seem to me that walking into a crowd and dropping a couple of backpacks would require much planning.
I should disclose that I don’t think they dropped the bombs. Their backpacks don’t match the ones that the bombs were in, and there were two other guys who had the exact same backpacks. I think that they were likely involved somehow, but put in the crowd to be possible patsies.

        • Laurel A

libertifirst My dear it does take a lot of planning and I’m going to let it go at that. I don’t know about the back pack matching. Do you have any links? As to the money, more involved than a couple of bombs. Remember there are trips to Russia etc involved along with standard of living.

I’ve got another reall dumb question. I know, I know. I’m full of them,  but um where did the suspects get their guns? Seeing as how Massachusetts has the STRICTEST gun control laws in the country, one would think that  maybe someone owes us an explanation as to how they acquired them.
If through legal means, then how could anyone have stopped them? If through ILLEGAL means, then how could the LAW have stopped them?
“Today, Massachusetts leads the way in cracking down on gun violence,” said Republican Governor Paul Cellucci as he signed the bill into law. “It will save lives and help fight crime in our communities.” Scott Harshbarger, the state’s Democratic attorney general, agreed: “This vote is a victory for common sense and for the protection of our children and our neighborhoods.”
This was said two months ago. Before the Boston bombing.
I don’t think the MIT officer who was murdered by the brothers would agree with these two geniuses that the state of Massachusetts is very safe.
The liberal meme that gun control equals less violence has once again been obliterated.

There is a reason that they did not want to put Rand Paul’s amendment in the NDAA to specifically exempt American citizens from detention without Habeus. The drone issue was about the same thing, turning this country into a war zone. DHS is well on their way to having the equipment and armaments in place to make it happen. This is a planned war, and this is why the power structure will now sell the citizens on it using this bombing. There are more coming, as well.

      • libertifirst

JohnCraven Most of our politicians could be tried for treason to our supreme law, so having them dispense justice is a joke. All three branches of the federal government have been systematically usurping the law for some time, which makes them all criminal agencies. They are not legitimate, and therefor cannot be a part of correcting the problem.
The states have to do it through a de-funding of the federal government, and nullification of their criminal laws that go back many years. If the states don’t do it, then it is up to the sheriffs of the country to create posse militias that will do what is needed on a local and state wide level.
Our federal government is owned and controlled by foreign bankers, corporate interests, and the military industrial complex. All they are doing now is shutting down this country economically and industrially, and systematically removing the bill of rights from being exercised freely. The gun grab is simply about making sure that the old school patriots can’t put up a real fight when they drop the hammer on us.
Being from NO, you should know quite well what the future holds.

It took an Act of God – Katrina – to clean out a lot of rubbish here and I think Katrina is a Russian name which means something like “cleansing”.
We rode out Katrina at a hotel at the foot of Canal St. where one of my brothers worked.  It was amazing trying to go down the elevator to the safe room on the 3rd floor that night from our 20-something floor room.  The elevator would not go down the shaft because of the wind coming up.  We had to walk down.
The next day after Katrina had passed but before the levees broke we tried to get back to my parent’s home in Lakeview.  We saw the Superdome’s roof blown off. Almost got trapped on the expressway there twice. No matter which way we went we could not get back and ended up spending one more night in the hotel’s safe room.  The next morning I saw the water up to Royal and Canal St. & got my parents in my car and drove passed the Riverfront Convention Center & across the bridge & the river & headed west to a sister’s house where 40+ people took shelter & then we got hit by hurricane Rita 3 weeks later.  My mom is now back in Lakeview in her home but my dad didn’t live to see it completly fixed up again. Sometimes we have to hit bottom before we can rise again.

Not sure if this is the right place, but seems as good as any.

Lost in the shuffle over the last few days has been the story of the http://hotair.com/archives/2013/04/21/more-arrests-in-boston-bombing-case/
after the capture of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev on Friday. Originally detained
in their apartment in the hunt for the Boston Marathon bombing suspect,
the FBI and DHS left shortly after Tsarnaev’s capture. They returned a
few hours later, however, this time to arrest two men as a consular
vehicle from a then-undisclosed nation picked up two women at the same
    time.

the FBI and DHS announced that the two Kazakhs had been arrested for
visa violations, but that update came only after thoroughly searching
    their apartment wearing hazmat suits:

http://ww.abc6.com/story/22047430/kazakhstan-ministry-duo-may-have-known-suspects in Rhode Island also picked up on the statement from Kazakhstan last night:

    “Two
foreign nationals arrested Saturday on immigration violations are from
Kazakhstan and may have known the Boston Marathon bombing suspects,
according to a statement released Monday by the country’s Ministry of
    Foreign Affairs.

The foreign ministry said U.S. authorities came across the students
while searching for “possible links and contacts” to bombing suspect
Dzhokhar Tsarnaev (joh-KHAR’ tsahr-NEYE’-ehv). The University of
Massachusetts at Dartmouth student was charged Monday in the attack.”

This may well be a lead that goes nowhere, but it’s still a related
arrest in the case. The media seems disinterested in this thread except
for local news outlets and the Boston Globe, whose comprehensive
coverage has been both understandable and admirable. The fact that the
Kazakhstan government offered that statement is rather intriguing, too.
These men were probably hanging with the wrong crowd at the wrong place
and the wrong time, but we will keep an eye on this thread for any
    further developments.
