REPORT: Gretchen Carlson rumor is BOGUS

According to a new report, the rumor about Gretchen Carlson heading to MSNBC is completely bogus:

THE HILL – A highly-placed MSNBC source tells the Hill Monday that a Sunday report that Gretchen Carlson is in talks to join the network is “bogus.”

The Sunday report from Business Insider’s Oliver Darcy stated that “two MSNBC sources” indicated Carlson was in talks with MSNBC.

“Carlson’s deal had not yet been finalized, but was nearing completion,” according to the report.

But an MSNBC source refuted the report while also being respectful of Carlson, a 22-year broadcast veteran.

“Gretchen is smart and talented and we are respectful of that,” the MSNBC source told The Hill. “But this report is bogus.”

The source also said any meetings between the former “Fox & Friends” host and 1989 Miss American winner have been “declined.”

I wondered why someone who just got filthy rich in the wake of her sexual harassment suit with Fox News would all of a sudden be in talks with MSNBC. She’s set for the rest of her life and it doesn’t make sense that she’d be vying for another news job.

Also of all the people from Fox News who might eventually work at MSNBC, I can’t think of anyone who seems like a worse fit for a leftist network.
