Republican congressman claims White House parsing words to cover up terrorist border infiltrations

Republican Duncan Hunter wondered aloud if the Obama administration is purposely parsing words to try to cover up infiltration of terrorists into the United States via our porous borders.

Watch below:

Jason Chaffetz didn’t seem to want to take up Duncan’s accusations, but he did affirm that four PKK members had come into America and had been captured by Border Patrol. However, it must be kept in mind that the PKK is specifically a communist separatist movement of Kurds in Turkei who are seeking to secede from the country. While they are a terrorist group, they attack the Muslim country of Turkei, who some accuse of supporting ISIS. This is actually why Turkei doesn’t want to support the Kurds against ISIS, incidentally, so it’s not useful to conflate the two groups.

No matter how complicated all this is, it’s clear that our lax border security isn’t helping keep us safe.
