From Fox News:
Before tonight’s Congressional Baseball Game at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C., players on both the Democrat and Republican teams gathered at second base for a moment of silence and prayer.
House Majority Whip Steve Scalise and several others were wounded by a gunman on Wednesday during the Republican team’s practice for the annual baseball game.
Scalise was at second base when he was shot in the hip. He is still in critical condition, but is expected to survive.
Since 1909, the annual game has been a popular annual partisan showdown by members of Congress, their aides and lobbyists.
Very cool.
