Republicans want to DELAY vote for Obamacare repeal for MONTHS…

In a move that should be shocking to absolutely no one, Republicans are now trying to delay the vote to repeal Obamacare until at least March.

From the Washington Examiner:

A group of Republican senators wary about repealing Obamacare without a replacement want to delay the repeal until at least March.

The Senate is voting this week on a budget resolution that starts the repeal process and directs House and Senate committees to create repeal legislation by Jan. 27.

However, a Senate amendment introduced by five Republican senators seeks to extend the deadline until March 3. That would ensure a responsible process for repealing the law quickly, they said.

“This amendment will give the incoming administration more time to outline its priorities after its chief healthcare official assumes office and fully reviews the tools currently at his disposal,” said Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tenn. “By extending the deadline for budget reconciliation instructions until March, Congress and the incoming administration will each have additional time to get the policy right.”

I don’t necessarily have a problem with the delay, but it strikes me that after more than four years of whining and complaining about Obamacare, Republicans, like idiots, can’t agree on what they’d replace it with if they repealed it. Seriously guys? Just what the hell do we pay you for?

This is just pathetic and it shows why people despite politicians so much. All they did was talk for years, and no one actually sat down and put together an alternate plan with conservative principles. Kinda pathetic, isn’t it?
