The Obama administration and his minions Holder and the DOJ going after one the most highly rated credit reporting firms ever these guys tell the truth.. unlike Obama and the boys and girls.. I hope S & P puts these buzzards in their place !
Go on speaking truth to power, S&P. It's reassuring to know that at least someone has standards.

Couple things, First when he said S&P was the only rating agency to down grade the US he was wrong. Egan Jones had alreadk down grated the US and the Gov went after them blaming them for causing S&P to downgrade next. All they could get them on was a small filing error in their application and the suit recently got settled with Egan Jones getting prohibited from ratings for 18 months.
Second he asks why weren't Moodys and Fitch also being attacked by the Gov. One reason could be that diff rating agencies are known to specialize in diff things. Moodys is known for Bonds it could just be that the S&P was the leader for the CDO's but they all do everything its just that some specialize in one area more than the other. But what he says is true why is it S&P gave the downgrade and theyre the only agency being looked at for their CDO ratings and add to that what I told you about how the Gov went after Egan Jones Rating Agency.

It is extortion. They did not do what the justice department asked them to do, and that was to take back the downgrade. Now they are going after them with our tax dollars.
If it walks like Rick Santelli and talks like Rick Santelli, then you can bet your bottom dollar there is truth to what you hear.

Why is it that the DoJ, using my money can sue anybody they want, but I can't sue the DoJ? What's up with that? Haven't they done enough yet to be sued over?

Why on earth would S&P wanna do such a thing ! it make the regime and the pop messaiah look bad ! don't we trust Oblue's policies anymore ? By 2014, our projected deficit be around 20T.and climbing ! sarc !

Does the Obama administration do anything which is NOT political? At least now I know why Moody's hasn't downgraded the US, good ol' Warren is involved.
If holder and bo are for it, then you can bet the farm it's got a political motive, it's geared to help bo, his head henchman and hurt America.
That is the bottom line for the wretched man, his imps and nobody in the WH believes there is anything or anyone to stop them from doing whatever they want....and, they're right, sadly.
The tyrants are better armed these days. Drones are or will shortly be used in King County, Washington....just to make sure everyone's okey dokey, don't you know.....or some other farce of a reason.
They are already eroding the Constitution. If the good guys lose, will we be the United Socialist of America. As evidenced by the last election, it will not be an honorable "man" maded (whatever they call it).

S&P should have been sued 6 years ago when they were stamping rancid garbage as AAA rated. Have only been screaming about it for that long.
Perhaps you should have a look at Barnie Frag and Chris "special favors" Dodd. Talk about RANCID GARBAGE! These two guy are the cause and effect of the whole financial downfall. PERIOD! Yup! Force banks to make loans to folks they knew didn't have the wherewithal to get loans by submitting proper credentials and to make payments. Lo and behold, they were right...they couldn't make the payments and the whole thing came tumbling down. Borrow 120% of the value of your house. You gotta be kidding me. Frag and Dodd...the real culprits, they're the ones who should be in jail!
Had the same thought LL. Typical Chicago style, attack anyone or anything that has anything to say about the incompetence of the regime. A downgrade, again, in our credit rating would be taken as a personal affront to the impostor, and it should be.
