Ah wow! I only heard on the news tonight that he’d had brain surgery and was not doing well. He was an amazing man. Kingdoms in Conflict was one of the first books I read when I became a Christian. I’ve had numerous books by him since. My heart and prayers go out to his family and friends. He has now heard those words that every Christian longs to hear… “Well done my good and faithful servant.”
A great and good man – Chuck Colson turned to Christ and repented of his sin, gave himself into service for the Lord and helped many prisoners to find The One Jesus who is the Way, Truth and Life.
This is a false report–Mr. Colson is still alive. http://www.colsoncenter.org/topnews/entry/44/19233
Well that’s a relief in a way, but I hope he’s not in too much pain! Continuing prayer for a joyfull homegoing and for peace and comfort for his family.
Ahhhh. The rumors of his death are premature. Hang in there Mr. Colson. There’s more work to do and the harvest is in need of faithful laborers.
Chuck will go when the Lord decides to take him and not before. Somebody at CBN needs to get a clue, then make their report accordingly.
