This could be a Reagan moment for Romney. Reagan had "Here we go again." If Romney is smart he will utilize this in the same way. It's short. It's simple. And it mocks, ridicules and totally questions Obama's capacity as an "intellectual" and it does so in a way that is non offensive to others. Put this one in your back pocket Romney. It could be useful.
With the right tone of voice, "Bless his heart" is unmistakable to anyone. And doubly insulting to the leftoids because of the- GASP!- religous overtones. Separation of church and blah, blah, blah, you know the rant.
I don't give a rat's butt, who writes, holds up cue cards, or anything else that helps Romney win. I just want him to kick Barry's A$$ to the curb in November.
The race card has been so over played by the Liberals, it is now just as useless as the joker in a deck of cards when you are going to play a serious game to win!!!!

I think the guy who brought the phrase, "bless his heart," to prominent, comedic use was Henry Cho. He has a whole routine built around it. he first time I heard it I laughed my loose bits right off.

"Bless his heart" is definitely a racist term. Wait, there's an asterisk that refers to the bottom of the page. It says: Of course anything a conservative says about the current administration is racist. Oh well.
I live in the south and Romney may be from up north - but that's southern for "The boy is an idiot - too dumb to pour piss out of a boot even if the direction were written on the heel." And let's face it Obama isn't nearly as bright as he thinks he is.
Those not native raised Southerners may not know, but when someone says something really stupid, the classic, charming Southern response is "Bless yore little ole' heart."
Mr. Romney needs to hang on to that "bless his heart" statement. Kind of like Reagan's

I'm sorry. But I have noticed A LOT that the Romney campaign has taken license to use a great deal of 'Palin Points' lately. And it urks me to no end that they do it.
Energy matters. The acknowledgement to our military. This little sound bite. Many others in the same manner Palin uses. There are many things that they have said that mirror Palin's arguments from the past and to the present.
Look, I'm don't want to make this about Palin. I do believe she got a raw deal from the Romney camp. And whatever happened has happened. But it is an insult to Palin when they do this. And it is an insult to us that still stand with her when she brings issues to our attention.
I want so badly for our side to beat Obama. Period. Everyday that we wait till election, time seems to get longer by the minute. Especially when you want to climb through the screen of your monitor or TV at the lies being told by Obama. And it is so frustrating when you don't see the hard hits back. We all know the media is in the tank for Obama. But not ALL media is. New media is available. I made this argument on another thread. I don't know why the Romney campaign doesn't take advantage of the enormously large audience of talk radio and blogs and have sit down chats?
I noticed it too "bless his heart" was something Palin used to use ALOT. Also reminding audience on "clinging to gun and religion"

I don't see it that way. I think every time anybody uses Sarah's approach, or Newt's approach for that matter, it strengthens who Palin and Gingrich are. After the primary debates, they did the same with what Newt would say in the debates.
When politicians feel they can use Palin's techniques, it means they feel it is a strong tactic and only makes her look better. I wish every politician would do what Sarah does and maybe we could finally straighten out Washington.
At this point, I wouldn't care if Gov Palin was in the back room holding up cue cards for Romney to read.

I think she already has. Back at CPAC Romney was wondering what he had to do to get Sarah Palin to think he was a Conservative. He came up with the phrase "severly Conservative". Hmmmmm. Not quite, Mitt.
Without actually giving him lessons, I think he has been trying to model her style and her Conservatism. He had to show us that he has come around. With his pick of Ryan he has shown all of us that he will fight for us and wants to turn the economy around. I know I didn't think he had it in him to actually fight for this position. He has shown that he will fight and that he plans to win. Cue cards or not, he has improved so much in the past couple of months. By Sarah not going to the Convention she can stand back from the action and and evaluate the festivities. Hopefully she will be able to assertain that he has come a long way and will then go about the business of getting him a Conservative Congress so that they can all start restoring America.
One of his speech writiers was Sarah's speech writier, I think I read somewhere, so that might be part of it.
