Who the Fook is Ron Johnson and why in the HeII does his endorsement matter? I'm sick of these coattailers coming out now that Romney is obviously going to be the nominee. Where were the tiny balled people when it wasn't such a sure thing? Chicken$hits.
A RINO supporting a RINO?
Is Johnson another of those who used the Tea Party to get elected then immediately took a Left turn and threw Tea Party Conservatives and his principles under the bus?
I am not familiar with Senator Johnson or his record, but according to what little research I've done, he defeated Russ Feingold in 2010. Apparently, he ran as a Tea Party Conservative, and with considerable Tea Party support was swept into office by a 10 point margin.
Now he is stabbing those same constituents in the back by endorsing a Machiavellian "severe conservative" moderate liberal centrist statist. A candidate who has taken every position on every issue, and as a consequence you have no idea what his true principles are. A candidate who's campaign has lied, maligned, defamed, and slung mountains of mud at his Conservative primary opponent, yet says Barack Obama is a "nice guy" who is just over his head, and he refuses to call Obama what he obviously is, a socialist A "Republican" candidate who "distanced himself" from Ronald Reagan only to embrace and praise his "good friend" Ted Kennedy, whom he "worked with" to craft and pass Romneycare, socialist state run healthcare.
IMHO, Johnson should be ashamed that his supposed principles could be abrogated so easily and so cheaply.
“I never did intend to endorse anybody, but I've had the opportunity to meet with Gov. Romney over the last couple weeks, had long phone conversations with him,” Johnson said. “I've come away from those conversations fully convinced that Gov. Romney is the person to lead our party, to lead our nation.”
You've been had Senator.
"He never takes anything at face value; he can argue any side of a question. And sometimes you think he's like really believing his argument, but he's not." -- Ann Romney
