Businessweek’s Joshua Green tweets that Ted Cruz’s confident and former campaign manager is now suggesting that Cruz may endorse Trump:
At @bpolitics breakfast, Ted Cruz honcho Jeff Roe hints Trump endorsement may be coming: Cruz "thinks about it every day" 1/2

More Jeff Roe of possible Cruz endorsement: "……watching Trump run a better campaign has been helpful"
— Joshua Green (@JoshuaGreen) September 21, 2016
Patrick Svitek sums it up:
Roe in sum: Cruz thinks about supporting Trump every day, is encouraged by Trump's recent performance & could "have an answer" before E-Day.

Texas Monthly’s Erica Grieder has a slightly different take on it:
My sense is that @jeffroe wants @tedcruz to endorse Trump https://t.co/Ae5MwV8YW6

Whatever the case may be, Ted Cruz has not endorsed anyone yet and I still don’t expect him to do so.
As Amanda Carpenter says, it would be nuts for Cruz to go back now:
FWIW, I think it would be nuts for Cruz to blow up the convention only to endorse Trump in the end. He already took the hit, stick w it.

I completely agree. If Cruz does endorse Trump though, he will lose many of his beloved fans who believe he is a man of principle and one of this principles is to not endorse Trump after the way he was treated in the primary.
As I said before, I just don’t see that happening.
