On his radio show today Rush said that he received a note last night from the Chief of Staff to a member of the House that said the House leadership has told the Republican caucus that they are going to “let Obama take the reigns…lead for a while and see where it ends up” before they decide what they need to do.

Since he said this in the context of the Benghazi hearings I asked him to clarify the context and he wrote back that the context was “Overall. Everything. Cliff, Libya, Obamacare.” That’s what I was afraid of.

It will end up where Cloward and Pivens designed it to end up, then all these useful idiots will be first in line to be take out when they find out they have been lied to. They really need to understand Social Justice ie communism better.

    • Jazzee

      excellent post

  • TitaniumEagle

Unfortunately, I can see the headlines a year from today.
“Recession the fault of Republicans for not stopping Democrats from implementing the policies they’ve been asking to implement for years.”

    • Sober_Thinking

I’d laugh… but in all likelihood, you’re right. It’s NEVER their fault. They had 2 years were they could do ANYTHING they wanted and the nation suffered dramatically… but it was still the Republican’s and Bush’s fault. That’s what they campaigned on and the media backed it and the lemmings, moochers and clueless ate it right up… and voted the monster back into office for round 2. Fools.

‘It was too late. Republican obstructionism in the first term doomed the country’

      -Admin

    • colliemum

Agree – I can see those headlines from here as well.

      • Jazzee

and you know what? if we had some republicans with guts and integrity they would go after this obama fool…….either fight to WIN or just cave in and we will make sure you are never elected again
there has to be someone with guts who can make a good deal……..obama is OPEN he said to ideas…………………so go after HIM……..

    • RighteousCrow_JustCaws

Everyone needs to invest 1 hour on Bill Whittle’s “Where We Go From Here.” Excellent.

    • Is_Sense_Common

They’ll raise the tax rates incredibly high and then will incrementally lower them just a bit each year and then will come back and say, “See?! We are the party who lowers taxes!!” (even though taxes will be 12% higher then than they are today… they’re counting on our bad memories and the rewriting of history by the media.)

  • Joengima

Well they did renominate Boehner afterall

    • Sober_Thinking

And that was strike 3, technically. They are as unfit to lead as the Democrats are.

    • http://profile.yahoo.com/KYTC7EGQASGOTQYPY2KPC4XCZY Don

The republicans have proven they are now the third party. CryBaby Boehner is a babbling coward who is now the “face” of the republican party. I hope Obama doesn’t make him cry when he calls him Johnny. What a pathetic loser.

  • Sober_Thinking

    Fools. Spineless, ignorant, fools.

    • TitaniumEagle

What happened to the people who stand up for what they believe in?

      • colliemum

They get re-districted so they loose their seat, and if people still are foolish enough to vote for them, well, nudge-nudge, wink-wink, there’s something which can be arranged with the dems to stop them dead in their tracks …

        Allen West ring any bells?

        • http://profile.yahoo.com/KYTC7EGQASGOTQYPY2KPC4XCZY Don

West will not rollover like Boehner, McConnell and Cantor. He has filed a suit, if handled honestly, will have a serious outcome on voter fraud in the state of Florida. Colonel West is a leader and that is something the democrats cannot tolerate from republicans. This will get interesting.

        • SheerPolitics

And do you really think it was democrats who were trying to silence Herman Cain?

          • http://www.facebook.com/mykec13 Myke Carter

I kinda get the impression Gorilla Allred is not a Republican.

The strip out their spines as they enter too, apparently.

            Spines optional? ;)

  • Joengima

There is a new poll out that says that the Majority of the American people wants the GOP’s plan to avoid the fiscal cliff over the Dem’s plan. You’d think that would give them Back bone.

    • TitaniumEagle

You would think that that majority of the American people might have voted for GOP senators and Romney. Sigh.

      • http://profile.yahoo.com/KYTC7EGQASGOTQYPY2KPC4XCZY Don

Too many RINOs for most conservatives. Most conservatives had to hold their nose to vote for a RINO. Time to make 2010 happen again. It was the biggest change in Congress in over 60 years and the republicans could not comprehend what happened and probably never will. Romney got 3,000,000 less votes than McCain. RINOs are history.

        • http://www.facebook.com/mykec13 Myke Carter

RINOs broke party rules and used sneaky tactics to shut conservatives out of the committee members selection processes at our district and state conventions this past spring and summer. I was a delegate at both and was made to feel very unwelcome by the establishment within my own party. In response, I gave no money and lifted no finger to help Romney’s campaign throughout the year. He was always last-in-line for my choice of nominee during the primaries and they shoved him on through anyway. He got my vote but nothing more and I didn’t even *want* to give him that. RINOs suck.

    • Doc Clear

Yeah, it’s right next to Tuesday’s poll where they said they wanted the cliff. I think Tuesday told the house that they really can’t believe anything a poll says. I was in fighting mode but now I just say,…give them the cliff. Give him everything he wants. It’s an endless battle against a giant that you can’t even see. The media and 3/4 of the country is against the constitution (all the Dems and 1/2 the R’s). Some lessons have to be learned the hard way. And yes, all of us will suffer because of it.

      • SineWaveII

        Amen, Doc.

      • http://www.facebook.com/mykec13 Myke Carter

That pretty much speaks for me.

    • p m

Heard that on Beck today – said only 47% approve of zero’s fiscal cliff ‘plan’. Funny how that number keeps coming up.

    • Jazzee

gOD YOU WOULD think so……..gutless wonders they are
get some big boy pants and do it
present a great plan and repeat it every day everywhere
go after this fool obama put him on defense Lordy what is wrong with all the wimps back there
you WON the HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! USE it
read rules for radicals and learn something like the MArxist you are dealing with and play the game better

  • callie1984

Why are we “happy” to have a house Majority?
Most (not all) are self serving cowards!

Bottom Line: we aren’t happy but they are all we have. God help us!

  • http://no-apologies-round2.blogspot.com/ AmericanborninCanada

They want to wait and see?! Our government is full of spineless freaking cowards!!! My 12 year old can see where we’re going to end up if dear leader takes the reigns!! Do these idiots care? He!! no! Oh this pi$$es me off to no end. Sorry.

    • TitaniumEagle

Well, to be fair, I (think) I understand that they are trying to show the nation what will happen if progressives are allowed to implement their disastrous economic policies. What the house GOP members don’t realize is that if Obama tripped in the White House and broke his arm, it would be blame on them by the liberals and by the media.

      • http://no-apologies-round2.blogspot.com/ AmericanborninCanada

I understand and agree to a point. As far as the fiscal cliff and all that, I say, by all means, let dear leader and all the idiots who voted for him own it. But on stuff like Benghazi, I want them on it like a pitbull on a mailman and not let go.

        • TitaniumEagle

I agree. We need to find out who is responsible (hint: same initials as ‘body odor’) for the loss of four American lives. The sad thing is, after yesterday; it looked like JOHN MCCAIN of all people is going to be among those who takes the bull by the horns and tries to get to the bottom of that messy coverup.

          • jodypear

Good luck with that. I’ll hope for the best. Trey Gowdy was letting someone have it in the first hearings, in October. He was very good.

    • SineWaveII

I think that what they are trying to do is to give obama and the dems enough rope to hang themselves. I might be wrong but that’s my take on it. I hope it works.

    • maynardb50

It is called in redneck parlance “give him enough rope and he will hang himself”. Well that did not work in the last 4 years and it won’t work now. (gee, was that reference to rope and hanging racist? I am sure it will be taken that way by some, but who gives a rat’s ass?

  • http://www.lds.org/ carbonfootprints

House leadership. I’m beginning to think that’s an oxymoron.

    • BikerHoop

It certainly is when it comes to Republicans. To reelect Boner just shows they have no intention of doing anything with any substance in the next two years. Like a flea-ridden dog, they have just rolled over and exposed their bellies in submission.

  • Dukehoopsfan

There are those who believe that there is little difference between the Rs and the Ds with the exception of a handful of extremist kooks on each side. The majority of those in Washington have been bought and paid for (basically neutered) by special interest groups and they are not going to challenge or disobey their masters lest they get cut off from the financial trough.

Ever wonder how a member of the house or the senate earning $100k – $200k leaves office as a multi-millionaire? I guess they all are just better managers of their money than are we.

  • sjmom

I’d like to say I am surprised but I’m not. The GOP is feckless, cowardly and inept and this is now why I am a registered Independent. They have now turned this nation to the devil’s due.

As for me I will trust the Lord because God is my Source. May God have mercy upon us all. Amen.

    • http://www.facebook.com/mykec13 Myke Carter

Rand Paul is not feckless, cowardly and inept.

      • sjmom

You’re right, there are a few but not many. However, it is the feckless, cowardly and inept who are running things. I’d rather see a Louie Gohmert or a Trey Gowdy as Speaker and a Rand Paul as Majority Leader. The establishment GOP has gotta go!!!!

    • http://www.facebook.com/paul.christian.942 librtifirst

The only chance we have now is for the states to fight back. I may remain republican just to vote on the state level. (even though Oregon elections are fraught with fraud)

      D.C. is a lost cause.

      • sjmom

Rick Perry was on Cavuto yesterday and he’s fighting back, unlike my own governor, Chris Christie who praises Obama. I would like to move out of NJ.

        • http://www.facebook.com/paul.christian.942 librtifirst

I was watching an interview with a guy the other day that was showing the logistics of dealing with a national emergency, and what areas were good or bad. NJ wasn’t a good area to be in if the crap hit the fan and there was a mass exodus from the populated areas for some reason.

If you ever seriously consider it, look up “Strategic Location” for some info.

Texas is one of the better states economically and politically speaking, but I don’t fully trust Rick Perry. He did some things with the NAFTA super highway (and others) that made me think that he was a globalist. His attending the Bilderberg meeting wasn’t a good sign.

I think this is a good idea in the spirit of bipartisanship, let the one take responsibility for what is going to happen when his policies run their course, they won’t be able to blame the gop for the ensuing mess that will occurr.

    • FreeManWalking

I don’t see any bad news sticking to the dems. Can you say Solyndra, Fast & Furious, Benghazi, Sandy?
Sandy’s response is as bad as Katrina or worse and he is receiving accolades for his actions.
The Deaths incurred from the actions of F&F or the lack of in Benghazi, and he gets a pass.
I think it is a childish hope in Santa Claus thinking any blame will be assigned to the 0b0 or any dem for the failure of their policies.
Their policies have failed for the past 60 years and the MAM PACs only see their good intentions.

  • hbnolikeee

I think what the republicans should do is give the democrats everything they ask for. Allow them to tax the crap out of us and kill our economy and energy production yet further.

They do this all the while Republican politicans make it clear to all that they know that this is 100% wrong and that they do this for two reasons:
    1. To allow this stupidity to show itself failing and destroying
    2. Avoid being called obstructionists when all does fail

Once it all fails, there is a clear and obvious point that that the democrats/liberals/progressives/marxists/communists did this and it is now demonstrably so and everyone need to vote ALL the butts out and let known economic principles that work fix it. Without the Republicans attempting to stop it, whom can the blame but themselves. They will own this destruction 100%.

    • http://twitter.com/ozziecastillo Stewie

      Vote Present!!

The media should be familiar with that and it doesn’t appear that they care.

    • http://www.facebook.com/paul.christian.942 librtifirst

When the effects of liberal policies come to fruition, you probably won’t be voting anymore. We already have a fraudulent voting system, so maybe that won’t change much.

If it gets worse quickly, then maybe the states will stand up to the feds.

  • http://navalwarfare.blogspot.com/ Libertyship46

This will just make the call for a third party even greater. The Republicans may be going the way of the old Whig party if this keeps up. Either that, or they’ll just keep losing until a third party takes over. Either way, if the Republicans want to remain relevant in the coming years, they had better start growing a spine and forget about this “bipartisanship” junk. Just remember, when the Democrats lost in 2004, did they go all in and vote for bipartisanship? Not on your life. And they ended up winning the House in 2006. Stick true to your principles, conservatives. THAT will win in the long run.

  • NHConservative0221

what a bunch of gutless, pathetic wimps! Maybe the GOP wimps should dust off the Constitution to educate themselves about the part where ALL SPENDING BILLS START IN THE HOUSE!!

Boehner needs to be replaced. Primary this clown… whatever.. he needs to go!!

  • BHliberty

Before a person decides to run for elected office, I think they should take classes on the constitution and negotiation skills. Clearly, the current crop are lacking knowledge of both subjects.

It seems the most lucrative job in the country right now is to be a slimy politician (and maybe a lobbyist!).

  • Darkbella007

I have mixed feelings about this. My logical side, the gulf between can be reached in a fashion that will make everyone somewhat satisfied. In my heart I know sometimes there is just a bridge too far. In this instance I just see it being dam*ed if they do, dam*ed if they don’t. We aren’t working with a mostly logical populace anymore.
With exception of a few politicians the corruption runs so deep, the bureaucracy complex by design that even a coalition of Constitutional lawyers are stonewalled by the most simplest request for information.
How to reverse the inevitable conclusion I will leave up to better minds that myself. I do however have resolve for things that must be done with my trust and faith in God.

  • jrt1031

Newt would have been the voice of reason and now we know there is no reason to be found. We are being lead by a blind administration that has no intention ever of being transparent.

  • jrt1031

The only revenge (as obama likes to say) to this is that those that were involved in stealing the election and those that voting blindly for revenge- and they know who they are can be proud of the monster they created.

  • poljunkie

    Either way, we lose.

The media will spin it as the evil Republicans either didnt work with the President…wouldnt compromise, etc…., or let him run wild and ruin the country…

    • NHConservative0221

Who cares about the media??? The right thing to do is to keep fighting to stop obama every step of the way. The House holds the purse strings, use that power to try to defund every part of obamacare and everything else you possibly can.

That’s what the Left would do if they were in our situation.

The media can go F themselves!

      • poljunkie

NH, you know as well as I do that the dastardly media sets the narrative. The election is a perfect example. If you ask a lower information Democrat a question about Gov Romney they spout off 2 or three memos they heard on the nightly network news, read in their daily news paper or on the headlines on Google.
He’s rich, He’s going to set womens rights back 50 years!!,he likes binders.

The press picks a side and runs with it.

    • Is_Sense_Common

Either way, the American people lose! The repooplicans are, for the most part, only accustomed to losing. They wouldn’t know how to win or what to do with a win if they had it.

  • poljunkie

    Speaking of leadership:

GOP leaders back West’s call for recount

    http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2012/nov/15/gop-leaders-back-wests-call-recount/

    • colliemum

It took them nine days to make up their minds to back Allen West – nine days, during which they had let him twist in the wind.
      That’s what I call leadership! /sarc</b.

I bet they only came crawling out of their holes because Allen West won the audit/recall, and now looks like the winner.
I also bet they hoped the underhand dealings by the dems (of which they knew nothing, naturally, not a thing …!) would not come to light.

      They are a disgusting lot.

    • http://tinyurl.com/wwsotu Wolfie

About time! What took them so long? I guess unlike Col. West, they don’t have a backbone? Should have been backing him since day ONE!

  • Constance

So the plan is to do nothing. Alrightee then. Sounds like what I’ve been witnessing from the GOP for years anyway. They vote to keep Boehner as Speaker, and Boehner nominates Cantor, and the game just keeps being played. Nothing gets better, and our lives continue to deteriorate. Letting Obama lead is like riding a blind horse along a cliff edge. Good luck with that. I don’t see me contributing to further campaigns for now, or busting my hump to get people elected that tell me they are conservatives. To keep Boehner as Speaker is a slap in my face. And, our conservative friends in the House have just done it.

  • DocBarry1

What a crock – the house republicans were not reelected to do this – They need to back Gov Palin

  • http://tinyurl.com/wwsotu Wolfie

The Fiscal Cliff…hummm bring it on!!! This is another of the LIARS talking points to get revenge. How can you have a “cliff’ with no Budget? Why will “we will reduce the deficit by a Trillion Dollars over 10 years? Does that mean if during the past 2 years that the LIARS deficit spending would have been only $1,100,000,000,000.00 per year if the tax rates for the evil 2% were raised in 2010?

As usual, Limbaugh, Levin and others have a lot of hot air. Where were they when we had a conservative named Gov. Sarah Palin who had an interest in running but the good ole’ boys club wouldn’t support her? They were too busy defending the idiot Akin and Mourdock With men just about everything is excusable. For women, all it takes is being a woman and you’re out. Do they realize that 52% of the population is female? They are alienating the majority of the voters for their archaic, outdated views of women and their roles. They can both stick it.

I say let Obama have it. Republicans should say that what Obama will do if we disagree with him is say we are sticks in the mud and are out to get him and save the billionaires. Not true. We want the American people to see what these policies really do so no comprise. When the country tanks we want you to know that we warned you but don’t fret….we’ll change it back when you cry like school girls.

Taxes can be changed with full control of Congress and a Republican president. Let the fools see what they have done and how bad the media tricked you clowns. Weak minded clowns. Let them have what they want and watch the suffering in Ohio and Pennsylvania and Iowa. Virginia also. You will be public spectacles. Hahahahaha!

    • cabensg

Thank you for saving me from writing the same thing. We’re going to have to suffer right along with the fools in order for them to learn who Obama is. When we save ourselves we save them.

Ohio’s Republican governor came in got rid of Millions of dollars worth of debt all without raising taxes. All he’s gotten from the press is grief and the people of Ohio didn’t go for the whole package he and Republicans put forward to control further debt with the unions. Then of course they voted for Obama.

Carter was defeated because we had a conservative candidate, Reagan, who wasn’t afraid to tell the unvarnished truth. That and no matter how hard the liberal press tried they couldn’t keep the hostage crisis from the public because it went on for so long. In addition to showing what an inept fool Carter was EVERYBODY was waiting in long gas lines for expensive gas. Carter lost in a landslide.

Equal suffering will show the ineptitude and criminality of Obama if no one is protected from it.

  • GetWhatYouPayFor

I voted to take out the trash. I lost. Now the GOPe wants me to wallow in it? Over my dead body. Screw you establishment garbage pickers. All of you!

  • BikerHoop

So, in other words, the Republican establishment is going to reinforce our assertions that they are spineless, brainless, thoughtless and incompetent. They have just proven that there are three requirements to being a Republican congress-critter: 1) You must have had a lobotomy. 2) You must have your spine surgically removed. 3) You have to keep your cajones n your wife’s purse.

Hussein, have you read the posting guidelines?

      I’m sorry. Silly question.

Why don’t you Congressmen and women just come on home and take a vacation? No need to worry yourself with those old duties you swore to uphold.

    • NCHokie02

They do more damage up there than they can do while they are at home. And honestly I don’t know what all bills that have to constantly pass, besides a budget and repealing things. Thats all they need to do is repeal previous laws. We don’t need any more laws in this countries. They can tweak things here and there as technology advances and makes a requirement for something new but other than that start repealing crap that hurts production and this country and stop passing laws just because you are bored.

  • pmb88

I dont know about this. It depends how they play it out. The media will blame them if they do nothing and will blame them if they do something.

I’m concerned that, in addition to the voter fraud, there was also a block of voters who abstained from voting because their first choice wasn’t picked. Especially those who wanted Ron Paul; they made it clear beforehand they’d rather see the country go down then vote for the Republican nominee. I even think some believe they are living in “Atlas Shrugged”. Ayn Rand’s novel was a work of fiction designed to warn, not a prophecy to be fulfilled.

If you think that if things get bad enough people will throw off their oppressors, then I invite you to look at China, Russia or throughout history. History has shown that it takes a lot for a people many years to throw off their oppressors, even after they’ve been enslaved–usually a generation or more. We can’t stand back and let this country go down, hoping that the sheeple will figure it out. Even during the Revolutionary war, there were many who took the side of the King, despite the difficulties, because it was simply easier than fighting. There will always be those as well as the ones just waiting to see which side wins before choosing who to go with.

“House leadership has told the Republican caucus that they are going to “let Obama take the reigns…lead for a while and see where it ends up” before they decide what they need to do”. Hello Jack As$ John Andrew Boehner that’s what you have been doing since 2010 and somehow you can’t seem to remember where that got us??? What a horses rear and worse…. What a pointless branch of Government the House did become………

  • Not4TheGimmeParty

Sadly, they may have a point here. I know it’s hard for most to see—but, Republicans have no control, the Senate and The Oval Office will have the final word, anything done by the right is just another weapon Obama uses in his arsenal to blame them for to cover up his own actions. If they let Obama take the reins, he gets the blame and there will be nothing for him to point to in order to claim obstruction. What then? Sure, his voters will not be any less ignorant or blindy worshiping, but it will become harder for them to justify their nonsense with absolutely nothing to point to in order to attempt the blame.

As a lot of posters said, the Reblameuscans will take it up the… uh, nose for whatever happens. These gutless wonders have become nothing but whipping boys for the libtard media and the Obamunist. They should at least go down fighting.

  • kong1967

You know what, you Republican morons? Obama is not a dictator. We do have three branches of government, you know…..and Congress is one of them. If we wanted Obama to be able to do what he wanted we would have voted for looney lefties. We didn’t. We voted for you. You have control over one branch of government, and the branches are supposed to be for checks and balances. So why don’t you be the balance….or the road block? I’m already so sick of the “lay down and die” bullcrap that I want to puke.

And they voted Boehner as the House majority leader again. I am so close to being done with the Republcan party. They’re about as useful as a tick giving you a blood transfusion.

    • Is_Sense_Common

You & me both kong. Well said.

    • NCHokie02

agreed. they don’t even realize that they control part of the strongest branch of the government. They control the money, so use it! They disgust me. I’m writing my congresswoman who still hasn’t replied to me from my first letter after the election.

      • Sylvia

Mine hasn’t either…this last time. The time before that he sent me a letter that had nothing to do with the reason I called. Washington DC is a sewer full of rats.

He couldn’t lead in his first 4 years, why give him another 4? The republicans better wise up and grow a spine, or remove themselves from their political office. They say they want to reach across the board and reach agreements with Obama, BS to that! Obama is now increasing his original tax proposals and the fiscal cliff will become the grand canyon soon.

  • drthomasedavis

Obama was given a pass by the cowardly and inept 112th Congress. Obama commited high Treason in the Bengahi affair and should be tried and executed. There can be no do-overs when it comes to treason and the death of four Americans.

Why would the House leadership alllow a traitor to lead. He will lead directly into an ambush!
Obama sacrificed Four good Americans, left them dangling and headed for Sin City. I can think of no lower class of traitor and coward. Get him the hell out of Our White House.Impeach the SOB or indict him for Treason, High Crimes and Misdemeanors. He is decidedly guilty and an impartial body only can confirm that. Get a special prosecutor on the job.

Next to Obama, Woodrow T. Wilson was just a philandering jerk, He was not called Peck’s Bad boy for nothing. who despite his promises to the contrary got us into WW I. Democrats have been the undoing of America. Time to consign them to the lowest levels of Hell. Read your history folks. The only real human democrat was Harry S. Truman; the rest were and are absolutely untrustworthy, No Character whatsoever. Far too many so-called Republicans fit the same description. RINOs.
