Well this is interesting:
NBC NEWS – A day after endorsing Donald Trump, Sarah Palin failed to appear as expected at a campaign rally for the GOP frontrunner Wednesday morning.
Trump supporters in Norwalk, Iowa, had been advised on Tuesday that Trump would appear “with a very special guest” in the wake of the high-profile endorsement by the former Alaska governor.
But in Norwalk, Trump gave a relatively standard stump speech — heavy on criticism of GOP rival Ted Cruz — without being joined by the onetime vice-presidential candidate at all.
The Trump campaign has not yet responded to a request for comment from NBC News.
What makes this story more interesting is how mum Trump’s campaign is about her absence. It only feeds speculation.

The oldest son of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin was arrested in a domestic violence case in which his girlfriend was afraid he would shoot himself with an AR-15 assault rifle, according to court documents filed Tuesday.
Track Palin, 26, is charged with assault, interfering with the report of a domestic violence crime and possessing a weapon while intoxicated in connection with the incident Monday night at the Wasilla home of his parents, where he lives, according to an affidavit by police.
The girlfriend told authorities she was punched in the face by Palin, who is the oldest child of Sarah Palin, the 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee and conservative leader.
The charges were filed Tuesday, the same day Sarah Palin endorsed Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump before voting begins with the Iowa caucuses.
Who knows. Maybe The Donald has already changed his mind on Palin, given the backlash from some of his most ardent followers.
UPDATE: CNN is now reporting as I type that while Palin was a no-show this morning and the Trump campaign won’t say why, she is supposed to be joining Trump at Oral Roberts University which will happen in a few moments, per campaign staff. I guess we’ll find out soon.
