Sarah Palin called out Marco Rubio today as she posted this on her Facebook page and linked to the article below about Rubio’s flip-flop:

Politicians wonder why we can’t trust them? Campaign flip-flops like this and carve-out bribes in the Amnesty Bill for politicians like Begich & Murkowski to exempt AK seafood workers.

Here’s the article:

TOWNHALL – If we are to believe candidate Marco Rubio’s comments during an Oct. 24, 2010 debate, it seems the Florida senator’s views on immigration reform have ‘evolved’ quite a bit since taking office.

During a debate with opponents Rep. Kendrick Meek and Gov. Charlie Crist, candidate Rubio argued that giving illegal immigrants an “earned path to citizenship,” which Crist, Sen. John McCain and former President George W. Bush had advocated, is basically amnesty.

“First of all, earned path to citizenship is basically code for amnesty. It’s what they call it,” Rubio said. “And the reality of it is this: This has to do with the bottom line that America cannot be the only country in the world that does not enforce its immigration laws. It is unfair to the people that have legally entered this country to create an alternative pathway for individuals who entered illegally and knowingly did so.”

Good going, girl!  It is time Rubio sees just how far off base he has gotten.  This is not the Rubio we supported years ago!  He needs to take a page or two out of Cruz’s playbook!

    • deTocqueville1

suzy000 I believe it is too late. Either he has badly, probably fatally compromised his integrity or he has none.

deTocqueville1 suzy000 I’m going to go out on a limb and say he never had any. Ask yourself this question, what business was he in before the run in politics and was he any good at it? If he was terrible at it, you have your answer, if not then why would he leave it?

    • Orangeone

suzy000 He needs a one-way ticket to Cuba.  Maybe they’ll worship him

Adios Rubio!   Telling it like it is Sarah Palin, thank you.

Sarah, the Grand Lady of constitutional conservatives always speaks the truth, unafraid and unashamed.Rubio is toast.
I see the battlelines rapidly forming against the RINO establishment and the Bush elites and Rovish enablers and apologists.I will not be surprised if Rubio is primaried with the support of Palin.

And sorry to say that both McCain and Flake are my Senators and boy has Flake sold out….McCain we knew what he was all along but Flake made a deal with McCain and the former senior Senator (Kyle) who retired to get their endorsements…..And if you all who don’t live in AZ saw the outright lies that McCain told to get re-elected……sheesh

I just can’t believe the people of AZ believed McCain when he said he got the message. His name has been on every amnesty bill that’s come down the pike for the last 20 years.

        Keyes enoughofthenonsense
I never believed him and didn’t vote for him in 2010. A lot of older folks here in AZ aren’t paying attention to anything but the SS issue and in McCain’s case, “he was a war hero.” And there are lots of old folks here; I mean, older than I am. The Mormon contingent in these western states — of whom there are many — mostly endorse amnesty; remember, Marriott and some major grocery chains are owned by Mormons — and they need cheap labor to keep maximize their profits.

Nothing in the federal constitution says anything about limits becoming a states prerogative to regulate it’s own election contests.

          1) She never voted FOR amnesty like Rubio.

          3)
there were no commercials in 2008 were Palin, like Rubio and Rand Paul,

PER HOT AIR article from 5 years ago.  By the way, after her recent
statements against the bill, she is vehemently against this bill.
Unlike Rand Paul who unveiled HIS amnesty policy in March 2013, which is
the same if not a little worse than the Gang of Hate’s bill.
          She
like almost every other person knows that you simply cannot deport
millions of people.  Rand Paul has said this as well.  Its just not
          possible.
What do you not understand about what she says in that link from HA?

Do you then favor an amnesty for the 12 or 13 million undocumented immigrants?
Palin: No, I do not. I do not. Not total amnesty. You know, people have got
to follow the rules. They’ve got to follow the bar, and we have got to
make sure that there is equal opportunity and those who are here legally
should be first in line for services being provided and those
opportunities that this great country provides.
To clarify, so you support a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants?
Palin: I do  because I understand why people would want to be in America. To
seek the safety and prosperity, the opportunities, the health that is
here  ( Who doesn’t? It IS possible to be anti Amnesty and pro immigration)
It is so important that yes, people follow the rules so that
people can be treated equally and fairly in this country.
          Again,
when you have to resort to quotes from 5 years ago, where she was being
instructed to say those things by the leaders of that campaign, you’re
getting pretty desperate.  You Lilliputians who ignore the fact that

own, not being instructed by a presidential campaign, calling all the
          shots themselves, are pathetic.
Also, back then she was not in
support of a bloated bill filled with pork and goodies for cronies of
the Washington establishment. Unlike Rubio she didn’t vote for that
bill. Rand didn’t vote for it, but in March when he spoke to the
Hispanic Chamber of Commerce he had his own amnesty plan that is the
same as Rubio/Schumer bill.  Palin also didn’t whore herself out for

Ya know, we don’t even NEED to build a fence.
Like I said, FIRST GRADERS, with no agenda, would have enough sense to simply STOP of all of the INCENTIVES for illegal immigration:

    E-verify MUST be enforced….
    No healthcare benefits…
    No food stamps…
No ability to apply for and receive free Lifeline cell phones….

    No ‘anchor’ babies…
    No Sanctuary cities…
No free public education, etc… ask parents for the immigration status of children enrolled in its public schools. They leave the states that are doing this.
    No free school lunch…

    No DREAM ACT…
I FEEL for these people.  I really do.  But I feel for my country and fellow citizens MORE!
We have a right to expect that the Rule of Law and the Constitution will be UPHELD by our president who took an OATH to do so.

    Illegal
immigration will CONTINUE as long as the risk of sneaking into the

  • RickeyBraddam

“Dr Know” writes in the “100 Million Patriots Standing” group at FreedomConnector that there are no illegals in Missouri. Check his article here: http://connect.freedomworks.org/node/79901/discussions/1214139 . Quoting a part:
“Missouri’s approach to the problem of illegal immigration appears
to be more advanced, sophisticated, strict and effective than anything to
date in Arizona . Does the White House appreciate what Missouri has done?
So, why doesn’t Missouri receive attention? Answer: There are no illegals in
    Missouri to demonstrate.”
They have a strategy that appears to work.

  • taurnil

OK, just what exactly is wrong with Republicans? I mean Rubio seemed like he has or had his conservative act together. I guess after a while they cannot see the forest for the trees. Oh well. If he continues on that route, no vote shall he have of me.

    • ChesterSimms

taurnil I get the feeling that he and many of his ilk merely used the Tea Party to get elected, after seeing which way the populist winds were blowing.  Eventually, these guys will be found out.
This sucks!  Whenever some one gets elected as a leftist liberal, they remain true to form throughout their careers.  It’s the so-called conservatives that always seem to disappoint us.

It also happens to be unfair to the populous that are struggling against high employment and under employment coping with high inflation rates. What do they(DemonRats) plan to combat the inflation…..why a new increase in the minimum wage of course. How far the wages will be depressed when you entice more to “sneak” across the border is anyone’s guess.
I suspect, Rubio lied tot he faces of everyone of those voters in his state to begin with just like Juan McCain has been doing for 30 years now. If you want to stop this from happening on a consistent basis, constituents must be willing to, how to put it nicely, dispatch them.

    • Orangeone

warpmine MN tried to increase minimum wage unbelievably high. It fell on its arse with a Dem supermajority.

  • physicsnut

some total creep was on c-span this morning and he was absolutely convinced it will pass with 70 votes. They should all be removed from office. Thanks to these total jerks we get to
pay for them to cancel out our votes
    pay for their medical care
    pay for their education
    pay for their enhanced incarceration.
put up with higher housing costs and lower wages.
It amazes me how the left says they are for labor, yet
    stab labor in the back

    • Orangeone

physicsnut The amnesty bill has automatic union registration. That’s the only labor the Dems are for, political donations and kickbacks.

  • clubgitmo

Rubio is cooked done as far as being president.

    • HillaryShackley

clubgitmo Don’t be so sure, how about this ticket…. drum roll….. Hillary/Rubio and he pulls a Specter on us.  Then when all the trash become citizens he gets his shot.  Hillary will get her two terms of course.  So then we have the Black the Woman and the Hispanic all get their place in history.  Sounds like a perfect Amerika!

    May I state the obvious.
Why doesn’t our government call out

    Oh
wait….our government THRIVES on chaos and the UNDOCUMENTED……never
    mind…forget I said anything…  I wasn’t thinking…..

  • RReaganRepublic

Yes, Marco Rubio is nothing more than a political flash, who wears his reversible Republican coat for any occasion- for which I’ve known so ever since he supported Romney over Newt Gingrich in the Florida Primary last year.
And as much as I like and respect Sarah Palin as a staunch constitutional conservative advocate and proponent, I must criticize her for her hypocrisy campaign payback support for Sen McRINO, the lead Arlen Specter RINO Republican that the rest follow in fighting actual conservatives like Sen. Ted Cruz and Mike Lee in the US Senate.

    • Bill589

      RReaganRepublic
So you are saying Palin is a staunch constitutional conservative advocate and proponent, but you’re bringing up that she supported McCain three years ago, during his, “Just build the dam fence!” period, and possibly because she felt she owed him ONE.
If you ask Cruz and Lee what they think about her, they’d disagree with your judgement of hypocrisy. We need more stauch constitutional conservatives like Sarah Palin, even IF she should have seen her mistake three years ago.

      • RReaganRepublic

Bill589  Excuse me, but criticism of a particular decision, or act, is not being derogatory, and or anti-Palin, it is just that- a critique, as I also see the logic and reason for supporting her all other correct conservative political actions she has taken since and before, such as supporting Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, etc…
Reagan made a lot of mistakes for I also have criticized him for, but that does make me anti-Reagan. get a grip

    • RodPatrick

RReaganRepublic Yeah.   All CONSERVATIVES WHO VOTED FOR MCCAIN/PALIN ARE HYPOCRITES.    ALL CONSERVATIVES WHO VOTED FOR ROMNEY ARE 10 TIMES HYPOCRITE.
Blame yourself too.  I know you voted for Romney too last time.
Where did the above leave us?  To a fraction of Ron Paul diehards.

      • RReaganRepublic

RodPatrick  Pointing out a mistake, ie; criticism, is not being hypocritical-  it is what it is..  Get a grip and a life sir..

    • RodPatrick

RReaganRepublic Next time check your logic.     How can you be so sure that that person who primaried McCain was also not a sell out like newly elected Rubio, Ayotte, and many more.
You want to blame Sarah for “being loyal” to McCain but you forgot that that Sarah also gave you Ted Cruz (he replaced a Bushite RINO in Texas), Palin’s biggest contribution in 2010.
So “being loyal” is bad now???  Oops.  That’s the problem of McCain, Rubio, and the rest.  UNLIKE PALIN WHO HAS A GIFT OF :LOYALTY AND FAITHFULNESS TO ANYTHING COMMON SENSE CONSERVATIVE, OTHER POLITICIANS ARE ALWAYS POLITICIANS:  THEY ARE DISLOYAL TO THE BASE, hence the problem of Rubio.
You know what? Palin’s oped at Breitbart showed that among others,  PALIN IS LOYAL TO THE CONSERVATIVE BASE FIRST.  And when things mattered, Palin sided not with McCain, but with the Conservative Principles! That is really what matters!

      • RReaganRepublic

RodPatrick   Criticism of a particular decision, or act, is not being derogatory, and or anti-Palin, it is just that- a critique, as I also see the logic and reason for supporting her all other correct conservative political actions she has taken since and before, such as supporting Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, etc..
Reagan made a lot of mistakes for I also have criticized him for, but that does make me anti-Reagan.

    • BogdanJodkowski

      RReaganRepublic

    • BogdanJodkowski

RReaganRepublic Dear friend, McCain has asked Palin for support when their 2008 campaign was still on. He promised her to return to his conservative roots and she promised him to support his bid for  his re-election as a Senator.
Palin has kept her word, McCain hasn’t.
McCain is a dishonourable man and a despicable human being.
      He is also a traitor.
What would you think and say about Sarah Palin if she broke her word?

      • RReaganRepublic

BogdanJodkowski  I agree you  that with her keeping her word and loyal support of the campaign of McRINO, only because she felt she had to return the political favor-  but it does not make the act itself worthy of the consequences for what McCain is doing to Real Conservatives in the Senate, particularly McRINO’s political alliance with Obama and his crats..
I’m sure she has taken a lot of heat for that position and decision. But thats the kitchen of politics, and as the saying goes, if you can’t the heat, get out of the kitchen.

  • pmb88

If this was Rubio’s way of garnering support for his candidacy as president in 2016 then he surely burnt that bridge completely. This bill was going to pass the senate anyway. That was the plan. Now, the question is whether or not this will pass the house. I always believed what Cruz was saying that this bill was designed to fail in the house so it can be an election issue. After I heard certain house members speaking of this Im not so sure now.

  • KemCho

Why is that Rubio keeps me of reminding Of Obama Ii. Young, good talker and not a walker like he talks. He can forget about my vote in 2016, if he ever makes on top of the Republican ticket.

    • notpilgrims

KemCho Let’s see: Obama got elected president. You think Rubio has Obama’s political skills.
So… You won’t support his nomination because you want to nominate someone who has no political skills…

      • K-Bob

notpilgrims KemCho Excellent example of a non-sequitur.  Well done.

  • notpilgrims

I call out Sarah Palin for not doing anything and often saying stupid stuff.

  • RodPatrick

Rubio maybe elected as President.  But he will be just like Bush and Obama.  Dirty Politicians. Nothing more.

  • Willie Heath

Hey” little Ricky” when you lose Sarah Palin you lost your base, “Turn Out The Lights The Parties Over”!

    • Kcid Rekrap

Willie Heath  I believe that’s quite correct, sir

  • K-Bob

Daniel Horowitz has a good article at RedState pointing out why this stupid gang-of-hate bill is “http://www.redstate.com/2013/06/22/the-worst-piece-of-legislation-in-american-history/”
Some RedState commenters tried to refute that “worst” claim by binging up the Fugitive Slave law, and the Indian Removal Act, and even the moderator missed the flaws that kept those evil acts from winning “worst” status: as awful as those acts were, none of them effectively ended the Republic.
Oddly, the mod seems to believe that the folks who are awake enough to realize this will end the Republic are somehow engaging in mere “histrionics.”

    • deTocqueville1

      K-Bob Excellent!

  • deTocqueville1

Palin has posted a Facebook analysis which disects and eviscerates the Amnesty Bill. Always ahead of the downstream culture is she.

    • K-Bob

deTocqueville1 Looks like she wrote that article for Breitbart. I just read it there, and it’s https://www.facebook.com/sarahpalin/posts/10151687749033588.  The nice thing about the facebook page is it doesn’t include the LOL-tards who live in the comments at Bretibart, so you can read it without averting your eyes from the chewing gum wads those folks stick on everything there.

      • deTocqueville1

K-Bob deTocqueville1 yes and ain’t it sweet the way she sets it all out, logically and forcefully for all rational thinkers to read and digest?

        • K-Bob

deTocqueville1 K-Bob Yes. She has a way of being more direct than most.

    • CarolynDixon

K-Bob time to show the rinos and liberal socialists they haven’t seen anything yet.  they want a mass demonstration, let’s give them one.  let’s go and impeach all the traitors who care more about illegal immigrants that have violated our laws than those of us who are legal Americans and speak English.

  • jalangaya

As usual, Gov. Sarah Palin is way out in front of the pack, instead of yapping with the running dogs. When she spoke of “hyperventilated” hype, she was probably referring to neurotic, namby-pamby RINO Lindsey Graham, with his smelling-salts & string of pearls.

  • physicsnut

I just saw (from drudge) that Bernie Sanders amended the immigration bill to spend more of our money to help disadvantaged youths who will be adversely impacted by immigration. Well, first hit us over the head, and then offer a bandaid.
    my analysis stands:
the creeps in the senate are lying to us.
    they are unrepentant.
these creeps are canceling out our vote
and making us pay for education, medical care,
and sex change operations etc etc etc.
And who does this benefit ? Why is Zuckerberg paying for those ads ? So these creeps have the nerve to think we should commit suicide. Same to them.

  • CarolynDixon

doesn’t do any good to call the traitors.
    they don’t listen to us.

  • pmb88

Sorry if this is a bit of off topic but todays vote. Is it to vote for the corker amendment and close the amendment process or is ti a final vote on the bill?

    • HOUSTONPETITION

pmb88 Just the Amendment.Full bill could be later this week unless we stop them.

  • HOUSTONPETITION

The problem with Rubio is that we have many more paid-for-politicians that have a Rubio yearning to get out but we as activists must learn how to vet them better…more cleverly. That means no more seductions based on vague proclamations about closing the border and allowing them to get a pass on what they plan on doing about the occupation that we are forced to finance.WE CANNOT LET THIS HAPPEN AGAIN!

  • Conniption Fitz

To the RNC:  After six decades of voting Republican, I’m leaving the Republican party.  The last two presidential candidates, the lack of opposition to Obama’s illegal, unconstitutional actions and obscene spending, and the participation in S744, the Amnesty/Immigration Bill have shown me that this party is no longer interested in the welfare of our nation and its people.
My change of party designation form is in the mailbox as I type.

    • Conniption Fitz

My plan is to write in Ted Cruz on my 2016 ballot – NO MATTER WHO IS RUNNING.

      • phil123

Conniption Fitz i really thing there is no one on the right or on the left so talented and fearless as him,
and that’s why the leftist such as Matthews are so busy with him all the time

      • K-Bob

Conniption Fitz That’s the idea.  I came up with this notion back in December, choosing Allen West as my pick, to be voted in the same way you intend, back before Cruz became the new Conservative leader.
And I think Ted Cruz is our new Conservative Leader.  So I might be willing to break my promise to vote West in 2016, regardless of what any party does, if enough people feel the same way about Cruz.
        http://fyre.it/4VUkh8.4
I still agree with White531 that our next President must have military experience.  The world he will get from barack’s malfeasance will certainly require a good military mind.  Cruz could do the job by placing the most competent men in charge, but I’d prefer a veteran.

    • jdbaird

I’m with you…they’re completely out of touch, and afraid of their own shadows, it’s sad. At this point they want to be liberals so bad that they’re really leaving conservatives no alternative but to go 3rd party, because that’s the only place we can find a candidate we relate to, sadly.

  • Conniption Fitz

  • NYGino

I’ve said this before.  Sorry to repeat myself, but let’s just adopt Mexico’s immigration policies.  Level the playing field so to speak.  Problem solved.

  • tularockstar

Rubio has lost my support because he’s no different than any other RINOs out there, caring for only votes and not the cause of the people!  Sarah Palin is right on the money, when she called him out as a hypocrite!  The Senate may dress up this pig in any expensive clothing, but at the end of the day, it’s still a pig!  No amnesty of any kind.  Our citizens have paid enough in taxes to support the illegals!  When will they start supporting us and our system?  Will they learn English?  No!  Will they really pay taxes?  No!  Will they really go off Food Stamps and/or other free social services that we all pay for?  No!  So, why give amnesty at all?  The billions of pork Congress added to this bill, can be used the deport all the illegals!  Then, let them start over by going to the end of the line!

  • drphibes

Palin remains a stalwart touchstone of conservatism – the real deal.
