By The Right Scoop

This is really great analysis by Sarah Palin of Obama’s SOTU Address from last night. Read the whole thing:

If you missed President Obama’s State of the Union address last night, you didn’t miss much – especially if you watched any of his past four State of the Union addresses.

We heard the same recycled rhetoric, and we heard his Orwellian declaration that the cornucopia of new federal programs he proposed, as well as his intention to eradicate world poverty, wouldn’t “increase our deficit by a single dime.”

Of course, he glossed over the inconvenient facts. He boasted about job creation, but didn’t mention that real unemployment is higher today than when he took office. He touted all those still undiscovered “clean energy” jobs without mentioning the tens of thousands of real jobs the Keystone Pipeline will create if he would simply allow it to be built. He sang of new energy development, but didn’t mention that new offshore leases for oil and natural gas drilling have declined a decimating 61% under his administration.

He talked about “helping” to build “a thriving middle class,” but didn’t address how the middle class is actually faring under his economic stewardship. This is important – his deception must be addressed: under his leadership, middle class families have seen the average price per gallon of gas increase 96%, the average cost of family health care premiums rise 24%, the annual cost per household from federal regulations rise to over $15,000, and real median household income decline $4,520. If this is what happens when he “helps” the middle class, then please, Mr. President, we implore you to stop “helping” us.

He talked about a “balanced approach to deficit reduction” without mentioning that $5.9 trillion has already been added to the debt since he took office. We’re $16.5 trillion in debt and he keeps digging the hole deeper! He didn’t mention his record trillion dollar deficits or the fact that his last proposed budget would add $9.2 trillion to the debt through 2022. His Democrat-controlled Senate hasn’t passed a budget in four years. That’s obviously not “responsible” or “balanced.” He said, “We can’t cut our way to prosperity.” Well, we definitely can’t get there by borrowing and spending money we don’t have on his “investments” that don’t work. If indiscriminately borrowing and spending money led to prosperity, then bankruptcy would be a sign of economic strength. But it isn’t.

A State of the Union address should give us a true picture of the direction in which we are headed. But we didn’t get the truth last night. And it WAS Orwellian.

What is the true state of our union? Though this may sound harsh, I’ll speak the truth here. We are a country going bankrupt to fund a bloated, distant, and often corrupt federal government led by venal politicians more concerned with paying off their campaign cronies and consolidating their own power than in preserving the constitutional republic that so many have fought and died for (including our brave men and women in uniform who were barely mentioned last night).

We are a country with an economy being stifled under the weight of a bankrupt and voracious federal machine demanding more taxes and burdensome regulations. Job creators are the ones stuck with the bill when Obama calls for “new revenue.” Their businesses bear the brunt of the nearly 87 million paperwork hours imposed by federal regulations in 2012 – annually costing them $1.75 trillion. And I haven’t even mentioned Obamacare yet, which looms like the dark cloud it is over our private sector. Is it any wonder why our economy is stagnant or why job growth is so anemic? President Obama’s “solution” to these problems is to make the federal government more intrusive, bankrupt, and controlling.

If we continue down the path Barack Obama has us on, the long-term forecast of the state of our union is not a pretty picture. Yet he merrily rolls along it, deceiving too many Americans into thinking that these are intelligent, economic, and ethical proposals.

Our President wasn’t candid with Americans about our forecast, but, interestingly, in a Q&A session last week, Paul Krugman, one of President Obama’s economic cheerleaders at the New York Times, was remarkably candid about where we’re headed.

When asked about our federal debt, he admitted that “eventually we do have a problem” especially because “the population is getting older” and “health care costs are rising.” So, what does he see as the solution to pay for all this? He admits that your taxes will rise. And worse:

“Surely in the end it will require some middle class taxes as well. We won’t be able to pay for the kind of government the society will want without some increase in taxes, not a huge one, but some increase in taxes on the middle class, maybe a value added tax. And we’re also going to have to make decisions about health care – not pay for health care that has no demonstrated medical benefits. So, the snarky version I use, which I shouldn’t even say because it gets me in trouble, is death panels and sales taxes is how we do this.” (But wait, I thought there’d be no such thing as “death panels,” liberal liars?)

Mr. Krugman tried to portray this brave new world in the gentlest possible light, but it’s going to take quite a lot of “sales taxes” to meet the payments on the ever-increasing multi-trillion dollar debt we’re burying our kids and grandkids under. And with health care costs rising under Obamacare, obviously a lot of care will be rationed and even flat out denied by panels of faceless bureaucrats making life and death decisions for you and your loved ones. This is the long-term forecast for the state of America under Obama’s failed policies: middle class taxes and death panels.

Does that sound good to you? It doesn’t to me. So, we better get motivated to do something about it. We’d better get out of our post-election funk and wake up to the radicals’ reality being created as America gets “fundamentally transformed.”

Here’s the good news: President Obama is in many ways a lame duck president. None of his ridiculous ideas will come to pass via the legislative process. Of course, he may try to force them down America’s throat by imposing them through other means. But they can be undone if the right people are in position to undo them. He is very bold right now – some would say cocky – because of his November win, but there is another election around the corner, and we can check his boldness at the ballot box by electing constitutional conservatives. We must continue to affirm the fact that growing our bankrupt federal government is NOT the solution. Most of what the federal government does could be handled better on the individual, local, and state levels.

Our country didn’t weather a Revolution, two World Wars, a Civil War, a Great Depression, and countless other political and economic storms, just to be sunk by the dangerous policies of this current administration. We’re stronger than this. As President Reagan said, “I do not believe in a fate that will fall on us no matter what we do. I do believe in a fate that will fall on us if we do nothing.”

So, do something. 2014 is just around the corner. Get motivated! Get organized. America, don’t retreat. In the words of yet another White House program, “Let’s move.”

Love me some quality, Sarah! Spot on, on most counts.

  • Sober_Thinking

She’s very impressive on many levels. What a patriot and a classy lady. Well said.

And she’s right – it’s time to get serious and very busy…

    • BlueGood

I love it when she DIRECTLY ATTACKS O’BLAMO…..the GOP is afraid to….

It is significant I feel, that Sarah is UNLEASHED…and now so early in the cycle hitting the SOB where he lives….right between his lies….!

      GO SARAH GO!

And God Bless the “First Family of Conservative Hearts”!

        I agree 100%

  • c4pfan

Great analysis, but the problem is that Rove & people in the GOP are doing nothing to even stand up to Obama.

    • lanahi

      Rove is positively toxic!

      I find this interesting:
“Nancy’s reply stunned me. “Karen, I’ve talked to a lot of people. And even Karl says we have to backtrack. There’s just no other way.”
      “Karl? Who’s Karl?”
She looked at me strangely as if I should know exactly who she was talking about. She said, “Karl Rove!”
I started laughing. Just when I thought things could not get more bizarre. What in the world did Karl Rove have to do with anything?
Nancy continued, “This is the only way,” she reiterated. “You have no idea what I’ve been through over the past three days.”

“This is the only way,” she reiterated. “You have no idea what I’ve been through over the past three days.” This indicates much strong arming behind the scenes. What measure of bullying tactics has Rove and his ilk done to affect the political landscape? I think it’s formidable. It may explain some of the votes that our junior congressmen who we thought were conservative have been doing too and the backtracking of other candidates.

We’ve got a fight on our hands, but we must do it! And it isn’t enough just to elect conservatives…we have to elect bold ones too who won’t be bullied by either liberals or RINOs. That leaves Rubio out…he’s already been bought and paid for.

      • Rshill7

“That leaves Rubio out…he’s already been bought and paid for.” (lanahi)

        Horse…feathers.

        • hrh40

          Do. Some. Research.

Rubio is where he is because of Jeb Bush.

          And his ethnicity.

          Sure, he’s got talent.

But he’s willing to sell out to the Establishment for power.

          Do. Some. Research.

If he EVER shows that he will stand up to the GOP, I’ll give him a second look.

          • Rshill7

            OK.

          • Amjean

I won’t count him out because, of course, it is too early. He deserves
to be watched. However, he got elected because of the Tea Party as well.
Someone, somewhere, perhaps even Rubio himself, labeled him a conservative.

Well, in my mind Sarah Palin, Rand Paul, Ted Cruz and others have proved
they are conservative. Rubio I have questions about.

And the definition of “conservative” to me is abiding by the constitution
with smaller, smarter, less intrusive federal government.

            • rjcylon

“And the definition of “conservative” to me is abiding by the constitution
with smaller, smarter, less intrusive federal government.”

Well said. It’s not any more complicated than that.

            • cabensg

and no amnesty for 11 million new Democrat voters.

            • keyesforpres

We want to CONSERVE the Constitution.

        • keyesforpres

          Um hello…he’s for mass amnesty.

          • Rshill7

Really? I haven’t heard him say that. We, in effect, have mass amnesty now. Seems to me Rubio wants to document them and send them to the back of the line.

You cannot vote until you’re a citizen theoretically, right? By the time one works their way through all of that and becomes one legally, perhaps they’ll have a better understanding of what freedom, work ethic, and rugged individualism means. Perhaps they’ll be willing to uphold our constitution, and vote for those who would do the same.

Also, there was a little tidbit in there about securing the border first, right? Right.

So, in summation…as Bugs would say…Aaaaa shaddap.

With all due respect to you and Keyes of course.

Thanks so much Scoop. This is a proper response (reply or rebuttal) to the SOTUS. I have no idea why they call the usual responses such as they are in fact canned, generic, very general and usually boring speeches. They tend to be uninteresting to say the least.

Palin gave a proper rebuttal, courtroom style. She did it real time on Twitter and was obviously prepared. Rubio and Paul not so much although I thought Paul’s the better of the two.

You would think that knowing Obama andd his constant repetition and recycling the Palin style rebuttal would have been the preferred route for the ‘official’ responses.

    • http://www.facebook.com/people/Steven-Valdez/1806887704 Steven Valdez

Lol Yeah she was prepared but Obama uses the same playbook every year she knew every play Obama was gonna run and she sacked him! (yeah I miss football)

    • Conservative_Hippie

The problem is dT1 that Rand and Marco are most likely running in 2016. The jury is still out on Sarah. I mean that’s why her response was not the official response, not that it wasn’t duly noted of course!

      • keyesforpres

Rubio does not have natural born status. What the he11 is wrong with our side? He is not eligible just as O is not eligible.

        • Conservative_Hippie

key, I’ve tried to follow this logic, I mean the natural born clause. I”ve read a lot on this and it seems to me the only way this will ever be resolved is at the SCOTUS! Until then I am not going to make an accusation either way, especially if it benefits conservatives, lol ;)

We are dealing with a cult-like figure and as such his cult followers never want to snap out of this trance he’s put them in along with the help from mainstream media. I can’t stomach listening to this lying communist anymore. I sometimes feel that we will never wake up from this nightmare that has long been put into place by the liberal education of this country. He’s trying to destroy the House in order to take it back, because he already knows he will never lose control of the Senate. I am a Cuban American, and unfortunately, my family escaped a communist country only to find ourselves back in another country headed in the same direction. Is it just me, or have we already lost this country?

    • M_J_S

I don’t know if it is “lost”, but there will be a collapse.

Bottom line, I think it will take physical action to re-take our liberty. We’ll either win or die trying.

Sorry for doom and gloom, but I don’t see any other way.

      • lanahi

That’s only if all else has failed. We’ve still got options open, if we’ll do it.

I feel sorry for the next president, having to clean up this mess and turning it around. He or she probably won’t be popular when hard decisions have to be made. But that’s only if we elect someone who will even bother to try. We need to prepare the way with a different congress of brave conservatives in the meantime. And somehow get around the toxic media and RINOs. It’ll be a real job, but we MUST!

      • TModelTom

We just have too many “takers” and this mess can only be fixed after we hit bottom, and trust me, we are talking severe pain for everyone! So painful that even the lily-livered liberals will be begging Sarah Palin to please restore America!!

    • lanahi

No, our final battle for the country has just been enjoined, and we’ll do it, Martha!

    • http://profile.yahoo.com/KYTC7EGQASGOTQYPY2KPC4XCZY Don

Well said, Martha. Liberalism, like narcissism, it a mental disorder that is progressive in nature. When they are combined as they are in Obama, pathological lying becomes their truth. When you drive God out of the public sector, there is not a value system that can differentiate between good and evil, what is true and what is a lie. If atheistic goals are attained then morals and integrity do not exist bcause there is no value system to establish how those traits are defined. I have a dear friend who is from Russia. Her and her family left Russia in the 70’s and every time we talk, she points out the similarities of why they escaped Russa to come to the United States and what is happening now. The Revolutionary War was to free ourselves from the elitest British that oppressed our nation. They are back just in a different form. The entire history of mankind has been between those that oppress and those who wish to live free. Freedom has never been free. NOTHING HAS CHANGED.

    • Kelly60

Hmmm, I don’t know about the rest of you but I’d sure like to know where our Generals and Admirals are on all of this…they sure have been quiet. Of course, they are more the “action” type anyway. Just thinking out loud.

    • trouble06

Until the Republicans, conservatives and right leaning independents organize the way the Obama machine did, WE will lose the next election also

  • Conservative_Hippie

Palin/Cruz 2016! The first woman President and the first Hispanic VP. And then the Dems implode!

    • colliemum

Don’t waste Cruz on the VP slot – see that he becomes Leader of the Senate, a.s.a.p.!

      • Conservative_Hippie

Yes, but sometimes the VP becomes the President :)

    • marketcomp

      I can go for that!

    • suedixon

rather have dr. carson the other one who is not afraid to tell it like it is. what a team that would be.
two minorities on the same ticket – the first female and first conservative black president/vice president.

      • hrh40

Dr. Carson has NO time in public office.

Making a good speech does not give you the experience necessary for the presidency.

        Unless you’re a liberal.

Dr. Carson needs to run for Maryland legislature or governor, before attempting the presidency.

        • Conservative_Hippie

          I agree you.

      • Conservative_Hippie

I like Dr. Crason also, but I tend to lean toward hrh40’s response below. He needs more time in public office. I would need to hear more about his position on issues like foreign policy and such.

    • exodus2011

the PatriotCruzMissile would be great, but she will need him firing in the Senate …

Dr Carson would be excellent for HHS, particularly with Obamacare being repealed and replaced

…last year she named Allen West for VP repeatedly … I think she would want him calling the shots on National Security with his vast knowledge of the Islamist Enemy … also, his face and voice would help to FREE those AA’s still trapped on the Sharpton/Jackson Plantations

Now this is what I’m talking about! Governor Palin is the ONLY one who will stand and say out loud these very things. No PC rhetoric. To the point and to the truth.

No more mamby-pamby go along get along crap. People want the truth unvarnished and real. We can’t fix the problems if we don’t know who is responsible for it!

    • notsofastthere

Fortunately, Sarah is in a position to be as brassy as she wants. She doesn’t have to work with powerful people in congress to get a bill passed. Rubio and Paul can be brazen but beaten down by leadership. People raising their voices to congress will give weight to Paul or Rubio to get leadership to pay attention to them.
Establishment has to go and we are the only ones that can get it done.

  • deeme

I did notice a dead silence when he defined his flexibility with Russia..something having to do with downgrading our nuclear capabilities..Keep telling the truth Sarah..It’s like fire to a zombie..

I completely love having Sarah Palin out there to amplify the Conservative message. I love how she paints a complete picture and she is an important and critical voice. When she says, “We are a country going bankrupt to fund a bloated, distant, and often corrupt federal government led by venal politicians more concerned with paying off their campaign cronies and consolidating their own power than in preserving the constitutional republic that so many have fought and died for,” is sending Karl Rove a message that we know what you are doing and we will take it to you and the RINOs.

  • colliemum

Was there a more rational, factually correct rebuttal of the “State of the Unicorns”- speech anywhere? And as a running commentary even, last night on twitter?

But yeah, she’s dumb, she’s soo irrelevant … I’m looking forward to hear the usual suspects in the usual LyingScreaminMeejah have fits about this. Will Chris Matthews call it even more primitive than Rubio’s speech?

  • NWIGOP

I said it before and i’ll say it again If she runs for President I will work my young heart out for her AND ALL THE CONSERVATIVES, MODERATES AND LIBERTARIANS IN THE REPUBLICAN PARTY BETTER GET IN LINE BECAUSE IF THE DEMOCRATS IN 2016 WIN THERE WILL BE HELL TO PAY!!!

This is why I love Sarah, to the point, brutally honest, but always filled with hope for a better day.

  • farmerinthedale

Sarah Palin is a gem. It speaks volumes about approximately half of our society that somebody with the guts and common sense of Sarah Palin would be so excoriated by so many. It sickens me that character assassination is the go-to weapon of choice by those on the left when anybody who represents a real threat to expose them rises to a level of national prominence. It speaks volumes about those on the left that they associate “leadership” qualities with teleprompter reading, class warfare and strong-arm politics. That their feminine hero can be a woman who is a serial liar, who shrieks and screams and sarcastically dismisses legitimate questions while under oath and then they call an all-around American patriot like Sarah Palin an idiot because of her folksy common-person persona is simply beyond comprehension. All I can conclude is that people on the left and those on the right have started to evolve into separate sub-species as evidenced by a total disconnect of cerebral function in discernment of quality of character.

    • John_Frank

Unfortunately, many on the so called right joined in the unjustified and unwarranted attack on Sarah Palin.

      • farmerinthedale

Thanks for the clarification John. Yes, you are correct and those “on the so called right” who were only too eager to jump on the bandwagon to silence and bury Sarah Palin are just as or more despicable as the worshippers of the Conniver-in-Chief. I am optimistic however that she continues to show her true colors as an indomitable spirit and she will play a role somehow in leading this country back from the current nightmarish disaster.

And some of us remember them all too well. I still don’t bother to read anything at Drudge, Powerline, InstaPundit, anything from Frum, most of National Review, and a lot of folks at Commentary. Peggy Noonan is a pure progressive fool.

I also ignore anything from Laura Ingraham and most of what Ann Coulter writes.

They’re all Cotton Conservatives to me. I have no time for their noise.

I can hear them now, saying, “Oh, so you want to live in a conservative echo chamber? A bubble?”

No, I want them to take their stupid echo chamber of f*rt bubbles out of our movement, and we can instead listen to highly intelligent folks like Mark Levin, Rand Paul, Mike Lee, Ted Cruz, Tim Scott, Benjamin Carson, Walter Williams, Thomas Sowell, and a host of other fine minds.

        • http://boogieforward.us/ K-Bob

In other words, we need to start naming names. Like Levin has been saying, we need to remember these fools and make sure we don’t let them mess it all up again.

I can’t recall Glenn Reynolds ever belittling Sarah Palin. Did he not come to her defense when she was being falsely attacked after the Tuscon shooting?

Yes Drudge went all in for Romney during the last election cycle, but that was only after Sarah Palin announced she was not running.

Recently, he has sent out some tweets that have been very supportive of Governor Palin.

          As to the rest, understood.

        • John_Frank

Mr. Reynolds is a very fair-minded man, so yes, he did come to her defense after that shooting.

However, he, like Drudge, treated her statements (prior to her Big Decision) like non-events. Occasionally highlighting others who were less than kind to her, without comment.

We had far too many “let’s wait and see” conservative commentators in the last two Presidential elections, which helps contribute to the messy primary. We need these people to VET candidates, not act like reporters. They are opinion leaders, so they need to have the guts to actually lead.

Yes, I know, the typical hard-ass response to that is “I don’t let them tell me what to think.” That’s not (nor is it ever) the point. The point is, these people sway the base. It’s a fact. When they fail to do their jobs (for which many receive a huge amount of compensation) they fail the very movement they claim to champion.

Mark Levin has tacitly admitted to this, and has determined to get behind a candidate early, next time. And good for him. That’s what we need.

  • IrishElk

And there you have it, Palin…straight forward, candid, shoot from the hip, a plain and simple truth-teller. At the end of her analysis she gives us our marching orders:

So, do something. 2014 is just around the corner. Get motivated! Get organized. America, don’t retreat. In the words of yet another White House program, “Let’s move.”- Sarah Palin

Any freedom loving, constitutional conservative American has got to love her. God Bless her!

Thanks RS for posting Sarah Palin’s FB note titled #SOTUGottaBKiddingMe.

Indeed, her analysis is superb. She does not pull her punches. She speaks the truth, and her rallying call at the end …. Yes!

Sarah Palin set the stage with her excellent fact check of President Obama’s SOTU yesterday.

As much as I love Sarah Palin; I get depressed listening/reading her so very wise words because it proves without any possible doubt how far America and apparently a majority of her people have fallen to the depths of pure evil in all Information and Governing. In short lies rule over all truth and sanity. America had the chance to have such a great leader as Palin as their VP and instead chose a never done nothing of consequence in their lives Obuma/Biden not once but twice. Really, America is in deep deep trouble and honestly I can see nothing hopeful outside of a handful of Conservatives/Libertarians that neither Major Party’s current Leadership wants anything to do with.

    • deTocqueville1

No depression! Optimism and positive thinking.

    • 3seven77

I know. Sometimes I wonder how people can buy all the BS coming out of “Boomtown”.

But remember, “It’s always darkest before the dawn” and “sometimes you have to hit bottom before you can start on your way back up”. Don’t lose hope.

Hugs to you Aposematic. You sound like you need it.

      • crosshr

3seven77, thanks for the word of hope & encouragement. We all need each other, we are all we have, ask Palin !

      • http://boogieforward.us/ K-Bob

I love that reference. For those who missed it, the new Boomtown is Obama’s Federal City, the District of Columbia (and the immediate area surrounding it). City Journal’s Aaron Renn wrote an article about it:

        Aaron Renn: Hail Columbia!
The federal government’s relentless expansion has made Washington, D.C., America’s real Second City.

        • http://boogieforward.us/ K-Bob

By the way, this is why Virginia is now a solidly “purple” state. Three or four counties up close to the D.C. Beltway have become a liberal Mecca (I think I just managed triple entendre, there).

    • http://boogieforward.us/ K-Bob

Our country didn’t weather a Revolution, two World Wars, a Civil War, a Great Depression, and countless other political and economic storms, just to be sunk by the dangerous policies of this current administration. We’re stronger than this.

      She’s 100% correct.

Besides, it isn’t over till I say it’s over.

  • virginiagentleman1

Palin is as always right on target!

Listen up my RightScoop brothers and sisters, just in case I don’t ever have another opportunity to do this, here is your one and only chance to see the man behind the VG moniker. My health is failing rapidly. VG

    • deTocqueville1

Hi there VG1. Don’t you be going anywhere! Your family, we Plin supporters and the country need you. God Bless you.

      • virginiagentleman1

Thank you my friend. I have to say that regardless of what I may want, or my family and friends, it is God’s will that prevails, not mine.
I will fight for every moment. I’m not going to roll over and quit I can assure you!

        • sDee

I know you will fight. Yours is strength honor and inspiration.

          So great to see you!

        • tvlgds

My thoughts and prayers are with you. Yes, it will be God’s will that prevails. We’d like to keep you around, but we know that you’ll be wrapped in our Father’s arms wherever you are. Please keep us posted.

    • IrishElk

vg, so good to actually see you. :) How can toon and I pray for you brother?

      • virginiagentleman1

Whatever is in your heart is good enough, milady.

        • IrishElk

It is a privilege to lift you up in prayer. There is no higher calling IMHO. After hearing this report, I’m sure many will be combining their prayers to ours.

    • MiketheMarine

Hang in there, Brother. Something tells me that God isn’t finished with you down here yet.

      • virginiagentleman1

Semper Fi Marine. I haven’t given up. I got an update this morning from my cardiologist. My Congesstive Heart Failure is advancing. I’m still scheduled to get the defib implanted into my chest this month, and then they will be able to get much more aggressive in treating the CHF.

I decided to post my picture just in case I don’t get another opportunity to do so. Be at peace my brother in arms. I am. VG

              • Rshill7

Yep. Click his picture and read what he just wrote over at C4P about 5 minutes ago. It probably took him quite a while to do that.

That cracks my heart in two. VG is such a fine man.

        • freenca

This is a lot disconcerting to hear and I’ll pray for a better outcome than you are reflecting upon right now. The new medical devices are doing miraculous things for a lot of people and we are going to hope that you will be one that will be helped in such a dramatic good way. Know that I’ll be cheering for you get better out here in California!

Thank you brother TG! Whatever it is that God asks of me, I will gladly give to Him. Just remember my dear friend, I’m not done fighting this thing.
I STILL plan on being around to witness Sarah Palin sworn in as the 45th POTUS! Once I make it that far, then I’ll work on staying around for her eight full years. That’s my plan anyway. I can’t say what her plans are. VG

I’m not crying myViginiaGentleman, because I know even though you will be missed when that time comes, you will be in the place where so many of us long to be and I just can’t cry about that.
I can’t help but hope Jesus won’t require you home too soon though (I’m selfish!). I really hoped that I could have made the CFP work fast enough that I could meet one of the strongest supporters I’ve had. It’s not going as strong as I hoped for my sweet and dear friend, but I still have you and so many of our precious Veterans and Soldiers in my heart as I keep on plugging away. I so wanted to meet you, but I know if it’s not here, then I will meet you there and it will be so much sweeter.
      I love you myVirginiaGentleman.

Very impressive Sarah. We need conservatives like you to keep hammering at Obama’s lying tactic’s. Liberals need a good slap in the face to bring them back to reality.

    • suedixon

yes, winning the Senate and keeping the House in 2014. Don’t allow obama another victory and for that matter Karl Rove and the GOP establishment.

What a fantastic lady, America woes her so much. If only the other half knew just how much. She is alway’s working on the side of freedom and goodness. She thanks the lord for everything and doesn’t mind saying so, and that’s a good thing, she takes her punches but never quits, she is so much like, and proven to be, as all the ladies who started the tea party movement some 5 years or so ago, ladies like Jenny Beth Lynn, Amy Kreamer, and so many other great women that stood, literally in the firing lines,RALLING, to bring Americans together for the 2010 elections, and to 2013, now onto 2014. We must keep protecting liberty as if it is a small child who needs tender loving care, but I ask you, isn’t it?, isn’t it.
We Americans still have so much to be thankful for, so so very much.

May GOD Bless America, the land we love.

    What she said. Hell Yes!

“To preserve our independence, we must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt. We must make our election between economy and liberty, or profusion and servitude.”

    Thomas Jefferson
    .

“If ever time should come, when vain and aspiring men shall possess the highest seats in Government, our country will stand in need of its experienced patriots to prevent its ruin.”

    Samuel Adams
    .

“Rebellion to tyrants is obedience to God.”

    Thomas Jefferson

  • Conniption Fitz

Obama has a history of broken promises. He promised to cut the debt in half…how’d that work out?

President Reagan said, “I do not believe in a fate that will fall on us no matter what we do. I do believe in a fate that will fall on us if we do nothing.”

Theoretically, we are in the boat we are in now because of Conservatives who did nothing in the last election…they did not vote and here we are, fighting like drowning people for the very life and breath of freedom.

Do not let us lose this fight because we sat down. Our “next kick is when the van hits the water” in the next election. Let us all strive to get good conservative people into office and start to win our country back.

Its time for Sarah to get serious. The country needs her to run for
the Senate in 2014. There’s a dem senator in Alaska up for re-election.
It’d be like picking up 2 votes, lose a dem gain a Conservative.
    Come on Sarah DO IT.

    • RefudiateGOPe

No, no, no, no, no. Sarah does NOT need to run for the Senate. She needs to continue to help put Conservatives in office. As a Senator, she would be one of 535 voices in Congress. In the role she now holds, she’s a force multiplier.

      • Bob Haze

She could do both…at her relatively young age.

Hammer from within and without simultaneously.

We need people like Sarah – truthtellers – everywhere we can get them.

And someone needs to start to get to the talk radio people and tell them to fight harder (to not let the other side demonize people like Sarah, without getting it back both barrels – figuratively speaking of course). I’d like to see Bachmann in the Senate too. And Sarah Steelman, from here in Missouri (too bad we ran Akin and gave the seat away, plus so much more nationally).

There are good people who we need to run and urge to pump from the sidelines as well. Hammertime. Or we lose it all.

        • OneThinDime

Bachmann would have been good in the Senate. With her tough re-election for the House in 2012 I don’t think she would venture out against Franken.

          • Bob Haze

I would love to see him gone, but you are exactly right. Tough sell in Minnesota.
It makes me wonder how a batch of good American hard-working people can go so WRONG, when I see states like Minnesota go DEMOCRAT (and it’s been a long time).

            • OneThinDime

Wisconsin too. Was surprised after WI’s Governor recall victory and with Paul Ryan on the ticket that they were blue in 2012.

              • Bob Haze

                Agreed.
                But wait…..
Wisconsin is closer to Chicago. And it’s right on Lake Michigan, which touches other water, that eventually touches Detroit. And then, there is Milwaukee….and Madison…..hmmmm……

                ;-)

        • OneThinDime

Bachmann would have been good in the Senate. With her tough re-election for the House in 2012 I don’t think she would venture out against Franken.

      • deTocqueville1

Absolutely. How can anyone seriously suggest she ‘get’ serious?

        • http://boogieforward.us/ K-Bob

I’ve seen that sort of advice many times over the last several years. It never stops being hilarious. Like someone from the gallery yelling that Phil Mickelson needs to step up his golf game in order to be “serious.”

    • http://boogieforward.us/ K-Bob

That’s a wonderful imitation of Bill Kristol.

      Golf claps.

    • suedixon

we need her for president. she doesn’t want to be tied down in the senate. when she is elected president, she can go directly to the people and go over the heads of liberals.

All you gotta know about Skeeter boils down to two things: 1) he pays obsequious court to the people 2) everything that proceeds out of his mouth is a lie wrapped up in an enigma. What the nihilist Kenyan cares about is power and the destruction of a once great nation that he loathes and that’s it.

    • 3seven77

Skeeter! I love it! Must have something to do with the flies…. If you want a good laugh check out “The Flies Know” on Glennbeck.com. I heard it while I was painting baseboards and I was actually rolling on the floor laughing.

    • white531

I don’t think you left anything out of that one.

  • Amjean

She’s back and she’s roaring! Please don’t tell me she “never left” because
one must admit she has been sort of quiet these previous months. Also, please
don’t tell me she is a private citizen and can/should stay home in Alaska raising her family; her choice to be in the political area or not. Of course,
she is and can. Its just that the country needs her so badly. I love that she gets right to the heart of the matter without mincing words. She is a leader.
And we don’t have many (any) of them on the repub side.

Sounds to me like she is gearing up for the 2014 elections. Its wonderful!
    Very encouraging.

One thing we all need to do (learned this from a Hillbuzz blog) is to quit
using the term “liberal” because the word signifies “fuzzy, warm social programs”.
We should substitute the word “leftie”.

Great, but left out the damage that the dictator’s amnesty plan will do to what’s left of our Republic. I would like to hear Sarah’s position on illegal immigration. Here is mine- enforce the laws that are and have been on the books. No government aid to illegals. Use E-Verify and fine employers for hiring illegals. They will deport themselves.

    • waytngtym

Exactly. Include Romney’s legal immigration-applicant picture ID’s and secure the border. Self-deport is such a perfectly viable expectation under the right policies.

I know this is Nannyish, but how about adding “amnesty” for employers found with illegals IF they train and hire with a contract a long-term unemployed person? If they actually save the government this money on the other end, they earn a reward??!! Maybe then we could fast track this thing even more.

She must have overlooked the illegals issue, but otherwise she has again given pure, straight-talk, for anyone to hear and understand, including the low-information voters. This was a campaign speech. Let’s help her get every and all messges out. No need for double-speak Rubios.

  • ladyjk

And they keep saying she is unqualified!!! Comparing her to most of those political cronies up on Capitol Hill they can’t hold a candle. Think of all the low IQ, corrupt politicians who have been in office for years–have you ever heard them ever talk with such sanity and knowledge? The “losers” are there because they take our tax dollars and dole it out to their backers–check into Feinstein and Pelosi for instance. See who they have thrown all the contracts to, made special exceptions for to laws and regulations. Maxine Waters, have you ever heard this lady ever make any sense? Slander and attacks against Sara Palin is all they can do, they don’t attack the facts. Enough with the “dumbed down” masses being taken in–do some research, get the facts, quit being used and made a fool of.

    • TimeForAnarchy
