    Yeah, I forgot about that. One year it was Miss so-and-so, and over a period of 1 or 2 years, they were all Ms’s. The late 60’s, early/mid 70’s was a real transitional time for the leftists. Being a kid then, you could really see the shift in the culture occuring before your eyes. Television was a very effective tool in that transformation – especially sitcoms like “All in the Family” which used Archie Bunker to ridicule conservativism and traditional values, and promote Marxism.

My children are learning a ‘progressive’ revision of history in our public schools. (The highschool had a life-sized cutout of Obama greet them at the door, and continues to have his picture and Obama ‘quotes’ hanging around the school.) I set them straight as much as possible, but it’s hard for them to believe their ‘highly educated’ teachers are so biased.
I want my town to run our schools – maybe the state in some aspects – but the federal government needs to be out of them. No more Federal Department of Education.

In the early 70s I was in forth grade and had an old man as a teacher. I was goofing off big time in reading group where the teacher and four or five of us kids would sit in a circle in the back of the room.
After I ignored the teachers requests to be quiet while others were reading, he kicked me in the shin and told me to show respect. He told me I knew better. (Not very hard; it stung a little.)
I told my dad that night, and without looking away from the newspaper he was reading, he said, “Then show respect and stop goofing off.”
Outcome: I learned to be much more respectful while others were reading.
Today there would be lawyers involved, and not as much learning on my part.

Well, if your kids belong to the “whole community,” then it is GOVERNMENT’S responsibility to take care of them. That means a bigger welfare state with more benefits and much higher taxes to support all of it. Everything, EVERYTHING, a liberal says ends up with a bigger government. And who is going to PAY for that bigger government? Why you are, of course.
