Sarah Palin: Obama is the antithesis of consistency, especially with our military

Sarah Palin criticized Obama for claiming to support the troops in his DNC speech when just a few months back he was ready to throw the troops under the bus by withholding their paychecks to get his way in the debt ceiling fight.

She also said that the seemingly majority of Democrats wanting to discard God from the platform was disrespectful to those good Democrats who do believe in God and know that our rights come from Him and aren’t afraid to proclaim it.

Watch below:

  • She’s right again. Dear leader also goes around praising our troops, and dear leader ‘care’, yet only a few months ago, he was wanting our troops to pay for their own healthcare. Jee… one would think… nah I ain’t gonna bother.

    • He only cares about the military when it suits him. The care that he does have is negligible. He intensely hates the military. Since he is alienating the military in droves, I wonder if he has that “civilian national security force” on the ready to protect his interests, should the need arise. –

      • marketcomp

Moreover, I am really disgusted by how Obama uses the military as props when he gives one of his stupid speeches. But I think the seals and other special forces can take out that stupid civilian force which would be made up of the black panthers.

        • Indeed they would and then some.

  • idesign2

“Free stuff or freedom, you can’t have both.”

      – Sarah Palin

  • GetWhatYouPayFor

This woman has dealt with much tougher thugs than this Chicago fraud up in Alaska. She has had him pegged from day one. Experience counts and when you have a backbone, it makes you dangerous. She has no problem stepping inside and going to the body hard. She would double over this punk in round one!

    • It looks like she is wearing a Star of David necklace there. I wonder if that is a subtle message to the Dems and lefties who may be watching the show.

      • Betsey_Ross

She wears it quite often. Not only does it proclaim that Sarah has Israel’s back, but is a message to everyone…..she would never treat Israel as Obama has done. Bibi probably watched this segment, too. He knows to hang in their until after the election. Help is on the way.

Sarah Palin had the Once nailed in her VP acceptance speech 4 years ago. She understoood what a community organizer is. She knew what an Obama administration would be. She was 100% correct. Too bad America didn’t pay attention in enough numbers. Now it’s going to take forever to get out of the mess in which we find ourselves.

        • wodiej

I agree w all except I think people will be pleasantly surprised at how quickly America rebounds. Christians need to ask God for his guidance.

“The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” James 5:16

      • She was asked about a little Israel flag in her office when she was governor, and she stated her support for them at that time. So this is nothing new. She’s always been supportive.

  • idesign2

Palin on the democratic convention rules meltdown……….”equivalent to thrice denying our Lord”

  • p m

An elephant never forgets. Sarah has a mind like a steel trap. How many so-called pundits have picked up on the military’s pay issue? None. No more fairy dust, please God.

    • Another excellent Sarah Palin video. She is hated and excoriated by the left for a reason…she is intelligent (Katie Couric, where are you now?) and effective. More often than not, she is correct as well. The lefties are very scared of her. Otherwise, why did they devote so much money, time, and attention trying to discredit and destroy her?

      • canscrap

I DIDN’T watch the DNC convention but heard, they mentioned her twice….. they are afraid of this very brave American woman. She NEVER plays the victim.

      • Garym

Unfortunately, its not only the lefties who are afraid of her.

        • Yup. It’s the Establishment on our side that would love to see her go away.

  • Spartan4Palin

    Thank you, Ma’am!!!!!!!!!

    • DocBarry1

      The Governor is fabulous, period.

  • B-Funk

Ah the tolerant left. Ain’t they great? Glad we have Sarah out and about! I’ve been missing her straight talk!

  • I don’t think BO has ever uttered one single truth out of his mouth. If we never get this dictator out of the white house this year, this country is toast.

  • white531

I get a really big kick out of the fact that the Left are continually telling us that Sarah Palin holds no political office, and therefore has no voice in current political discussion. Then, in the very next moment, they criticize every word she speaks in the public forum.

Sarah Palin scares the pants off every corrupt politician out there on both sides. Quite simply, she is one of us, and they know it. Recognizing her for the threat she represents to them, they will continue to attack her. Amazingly, and to their detriment, she’s still there. She isn’t going away.

All the attacks on her serve to accomplish only one purpose. People just love her even more.

It must be frustrating to her enemies.

I think God loves her, and He’s second in line behind me.

    • white531

I forgot Todd Palin. He might have an opinion on that.

    • wodiej

“Therefore put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm.” Ephesians 6:13

  • I almost puked when he talked about hugging the families of fallen soldiers, when we know he sent out electronically signed form letters to the families of fallen navy seals.

He is also screwing the military over when it comes to healthcare. He wants to force retired military members out of Tricare. (Which they pay to be in, even though when they enlisted, they were promised free health care upon retirement) He wants to force them into the Obama care plan, making them pay for it.

    • white531

This is a sick human being. As you may have surmised, I used the word, “human,” in a loose manner.

    • El Presidente does not shrug from a photo opportunity. He talks a good talk and that’s all. If the enemy can’t kill our troops on the battlefield, he’ll make sure they don’t get the vital health care they need or he’ll make their lives a miserable hell on Earth.

    • tshtsh

Lori, I was thinking the same thing. Actually, I would like to find that one unfortunate family and ask what was it like to be touched by that evil man who could probably barely hide his joy in their child’s death.

    • IwjwI

The price of TriCare is going up, and up and up, so retired military will have only one choice financially, Obamacare.

When my military husband was alive, we saw the price of TriCare consistently going up and copays going up. At the time of his death, with no insurance for myself, Cobra was available for a downpayment of over $900.00. They wanted over $300.00 per month with 3 months of payments up front. I’ll bet that it is well over $1K to get started with Cobra if a military spouse looses a military spouse and is forced out of TriCare. That’s if Cobra is still an available insurance.

I really enjoy the community we have here with Scoop. We don’t always agree on everything, but that, in itself, is understandable. We come from different backgrounds, different life experiences. The one, unifying concept that unites us is Freedom. We may fight over the details, but Freedom is what defines us and keeps us together, as a group.

I wish the Republican Party could exhibit the same behavior. I’m not holding my breath.

  • white531

There are two things I would like to see, before I die. I would like to see Colonel Allen West debate Obama on the issues. I would then like to see Sarah debate him on those same issues, and bury the Idiot, once and for all. I don’t think that’s asking too much.

For the Colonel and Sarah, it would be a walk in the park. He couldn’t even deal with Joe the Plumber. How on earth, could he deal with Allen West and Sarah Palin?

    • wodiej

I’d like to see them on a Presidential ticket together.

  • deTocqueville1

Perspicacious simplicity as always. I wish Sean would be the interviewer not try and be also the interviewee

  • white531

Perspicacious. I’m impressed, deTocqueville. Not only by the word itself, but also by your long name. I have learned over time, that people like yourself are impressed by titles and big words.

Just for the record, you wouldn’t last three minutes with Sean Hannity. You would utter three sentences, and he would pull the plug and go to commercial.

I looked at your profile. You’re another one. Allow me to offer you my most sincere welcome. In the future, please direct all your comments to me, specifically.

Please, please do me that favor. I look forward to it immensely.

You are one of those nutcases from the, “Conservatives for Palin” site. A site I looked at briefly and then dumped.

Please don’t bring your garbage here to this site. Sarah doesn’t need you, and we certainly don’t need you.

This site is about saving what is left of America.

    • heshtesh

I’ll keep it simple for you, what a pompous azz you are!

      • white531

Simple brain, simple comment. Why am I not surprised? Are Friday nights reserved for Liberal idiots? We need to post that on the schedule.

        • heshtesh

It stands to reason no one could better explain your comments than yourself.

          • white531

heshtesh, if you could muster up everything within you, and make one intelligent comment, I would be glad to respond. So far, I haven’t seen one.

            • heshtesh

I could say the same for your comments but where would that get us? My guess is no further along than we are at this point.

              • white531

At least we have reached an agreement of sorts. Don’t waste my time and I won’t waste yours. You will note, however, that I never called you any names other than your own.

                • white531

I take that back. I did refer to you as an idiot in a general way. Please accept my sincere apologies. I will not do that again. I generally reserve that name for Obama and his fat wife.

      • white531

Just looked at your profile. You’re one of those idiots I left when I left Conservatives for Palin. What an insult to Sarah Palin that site is.

    • heshtesh

Hey there rocket scientist its Conservatives4Palin! For someone who looked at the site briefly and then dumped it I find it amusing that you managed to find the time to leave 23 comments before moving on,my guess is your opinions were’nt much appreciated there, I can see why.

      • white531

hestesh, it took me about two minutes on that ridiculous site to realize what a waste of time it was. Conservatives for Palin is a denigration to the beauty and the wonder of what Sarah Palin represents to the rest of us.

        • heshtesh

To each their own I can respect that, what I don’t respect is your ridicule of deTocqueville1 for no apparent reason.

          • white531

Why don’t you let deTocqueville speak for himself? He is the one who made a disparaging remark about Hannity. Of all the Conservative talk show hosts out there, Hannity is the most fair of all of them. He goes out of his way to allow the Left a platform to speak. Attacking Hannity for being unfair, is ridiculous.

  • Few people take Sarah Palin seriously. When is her next reality TV show starting ?

    • toongoon

You walked all the way over here from the Washington Times to say the most intelligent thing your feeble little mind could assemble?

WT commenters are awed by this amount of intellectual depth, now you can proudly walk all the back and tell them how you braved all the sharks here and dissed Sarah Palin. You’re gonna be an instant hero. Kinda like getting a Pulitzer prize for breathing.

      • AmericanDream12

Thank you Toogoon. I also wonder who hit the like button for John D’s deep thoughts..

    • idesign2

      Yet here you are…LOL

    • white531

Another one. Where do you people come from? Is there some Liberal Factory that keeps turning out people like you, like cupcakes or cookies?

i have come to believe that idiots like you are a national sickness. A disease, if you will. This one woman has stood up to more corruption, than any other single Politician in the History of America. She is more feared by the Left, than any human being alive. Why is that, do you think?

I’ll tell you why. Because she has every one of you Bastards nailed. More than any man or woman since Reagan, she has pointed out the glaring difference between the vision you have for America and the vision our Founders had.

Your position on Sarah, and your position on what you think the future of this country should be, is laughable. Actually, I feel sorry for you. Not because I know you are going to lose this contest, but because you never understood in the first place, what Freedom really means.

You will lose this war. When you are dead and gone and long forgotten, this country will continue to excel, as the bastion of Freedom it has always been to every human being on this planet. They will still swim oceans and cross deserts to get here.

Because this is the only nation on this earth that offers Freedom and a better chance of enjoying that dream. Obama wants to destroy that dream and make us a third world country. If he were here right now, in front of me, I would spit in his face.

      • MaxineCA

(Although I agree with you, you might want to do an edit. You know the rules, and I don’t want you do get in trouble with whatever Sheriff is on duty tonight!)

        • white531

There won’t be any edit, Maxine. I didn’t ask these trolls to come here this evening. If there will be an edit, it will be from the Moderators. I am good with that.

          • MaxineCA

I understand. Just trying to be helpful, but you expressed exactly how I feel, so I certainly wasn’t offended a bit. They really are quite annoying, but that must be their purpose in life. I guess if you can’t accomplish anything else, being annoying is all they can accomplish. Too bad it’s here.

            • white531

Maxine, I relish it. To me, it’s like eating ice cream. What’s not to like?

              • MaxineCA

To me, having a debate with a troll is like trying to have an intelligent conversation with a 14 yr old who thinks they know everything.

Better be careful about all that ice cream or Mooseshell will be after you!

    • wodiej

      you’re missing your cartoons.

    • No, quite a few you lefties do take her seriously. That is why you continue to ridicule and demean her every chance that you get. That is why as long as she lives, there will always be a concentrated effort by the ideologically left to destroy her by any means possible. Here’s a “reality” for you: Nothing that has been or is being tried is working.

    • BHliberty

It’s interesting because Obama’s 3 years and 9 mos. in the executive office has been one big unreality show. I think Obama should go on Trump’s show just so the Donald can tell him he’s fired! I mean really, who takes this guy very seriously!

  • BS61

Love that she has a big ole Star of David necklace on!

    • white531

I noticed that too, bs61. Wasn’t going to mention it, but I am glad you did. This is a very smart girl. She is well aware of what is happening in the world right now. She supports Israel. If Israel falls, so falls the United States of America.

    • lanahi

Is that the one Bibi gave her?

  • MaxineCA

Seems as though we have a few trolls that have visited tonight. I saw a comment from John D over on the open thread….. honestly I had no idea what he meant, so didn’t reply.

Attention trolls – If you don’t agree with Sarah, if you don’t respect Sarah, and you don’t respect us, why exactly are you here? Move along now back to sites that are more like minded. Thank you!

  • Just a warning, the C4P site is a banned topic here. Scoop doesn’t need his site becoming a place where another conservative site is trashed. Anything on that topic goes over the rail.

    • white531

Understood, K-Bob. I understand there is a history there. I won’t mention it again.

    • wodiej

thank you sir. I know whom you are referring to. When there is a Palin thread posted here at RS, those people are the ones who have been banned from C4P.

  • wodiej

Always good to hear from the lovely Gov. Palin. My favorite line:

“People are gonna have to choose between free stuff or Freedom. Can’t have both.”

  • ryanomaniac

I’m proud of this lady. She says it like it is and everyone she endorses should be forever thankful cause they will owe her for as long as they are in office. Wrong, they wont owe her a thing cause that’s the lady she is. The media has always counted her out…..they counted wrong.

  • Pretty Sarah Palin rocks our socks.

  • Ford Prefect

She has to stop using big words like antithesis or the left will not be able to follow along.

  • Obama also doesn’t seem that concerned about the possibility of almost a trillion dollars being cut from the military under the upcoming sequestration budget cuts after the election. Even his own Secretary of Defense says these cuts would be catastrophic to the military and must be stopped, unless you want a military that is even smaller than the one we had just prior to World War II (and at the start of that war, we all saw what a terrible cost we paid for that). We live in dangerous times and to have Obama play chicken with our national defense is just terrible. He should be voted out of office on that alone.

  • Paul Citro

All Obama’s has done is drive this country into the ground. Everyone should go see 2016 if your not sure you will be after.

  • heshtesh

  • I’m sorry, I know this isn’t an open thread, but I just read that Pastor Youcef has BEEN SET FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Praise Jesus!

    • Amen!

    • nibblesyble

Just got down on my knees and gave thanks…so awesome is our God! Thanks sis..for letting us all know.

  • Landscaper

Threads can go off the rail easily. As the father of a USMC combat boot 1 year back from Afghan this thread was about troops not politicians. Don’t reply “thank your son for his service” because he put his ass on the line because he could can care less.

    • My son also came back from that horrible war unlike many of his buddies. My son came back without any visible injuries but he has many unseen wounds. While your son may have no visible wounds he has them none the less. Obama is the worst possible person we could have as president and the military and the citizens have all paid a terrible price for his solisiptec ineptitude.

      • Landscaper

agreed, we speak of the same thing. mine is adjusting to college, annoyed by the OWS types. putting buddies on a medevac under fire as a teenager does that.

  • armyvet10

Being a retired SFC form the United States Army, I am often offended when any politician tries to affect a patriotic response aimed at getting elected, only to turn their backs on those (myself included) who are willing to sacrifice all so that freedom will live on. I think that all politicians should be required to visit a Soldiers Retirement home once a year and look in the face of those that gave their all to this country. I have visited the retirement home in Indiana more than once to say thank you and that I understand the sacrifices they have made. Tears will not trickle down your face; the tears will flow in a constant stream when you visit. (that is if you have a heart)

    • Derfallbright

Often times our great veterans are in these homes because they have no one else left on earth that cares about them. Look up the locations of these homes on Google and if you live near one …..go visit! It will be one of the best things you will do all year.

  • bjohnson55

Instead of waiting for the media and conservatives to pressure the DNC to change their stance on GOD and Israel the so called Believer Democrats (really an oxymoron) need to see the light about who and what they are throwing their support behind. It is time to make a grown up decision, it is time to make truck load of grown up decisions. The party is over, time to clean up.

  • NObama is the poison – Sarah Palin is the Antidote!

  • Dodoforever Canspell

The only “good” thing about Obama is that he is a great orator. You gotta give him that. All truly great liars make great orators. The worst “bad” thing about Americans is that they are very gullible and ever ready to swallow lies. If this guy gets another terms, then I will truly believe in that December 20, 2012 doomsday prophecy.

  • Galatiansch2vs20

Contrary to what I’ve been hearing on the news lately, platforms do mean something. If they meant nothing, why bother to fashion them at all? It is supposed to represent what those in the party stand for.

The Democrat party stands for things God opposes, such as abortion and now the farce called ‘homosexual marriage’. It is no wonder the majority of those at the convention wanted God’s Name removed from their godless platform and refused to acknowledge Jerusalem as a place God gave to His chosen people, the Jews.

Our military needs a new Commander in chief- one who loves America and one who holds Israel in high regard.

  • Galatiansch2vs20

“It is when people forget God that tyrants forge their chains.”
    Patrick Henry

“Now more than ever before, the people are responsible for the character of their Congress. If that body be ignorant, reckless and corrupt, it is because the people tolerate ignorance, recklessness and corruption. If it be intelligent, brave and pure, it is because the people demand these high qualities to represent them in the national legislature…. If the next centennial does not find us a great nation … it will be because those who represent the enterprise, the culture, and the morality of the nation do not aid in controlling the political forces.”
