Sarah Palin a surprise guest on The Five

This is just fun. Sarah Palin was a surprise guest on The Five, which apparently was even a surprise to The Five. Watch to the end though to see Palin kick Bob Beckel for a few of the things he’s said about her:

Beckel : Can I call you Sir ?
Palin: Sure and I’ll call you Ma’am

    • BarbaCat

      …she’s quick!

    • Cindy09

Oh, Gosh! Now that’s a sign that he’s lost his balls!!

      • MLCBLOG

as if he ever had a set! Punk.

    • Ana

He said, “can I call you Sarah,” she said, “yes you may.”

  • royroyo

    Game On !!!

  • I still want to have Sarah’s babies.

    • Gloria

      Have some respect, she’s a married woman…Goodness!

      • It’s okay, Gloria. I’m a married man.

      • bucky321

        so is dick

me, too, and I am a grandmother.

  • 911Infidel

Old Bob couldn’t take his eye off of Sarah? Hmmm. Whats up with that? Three georgeous Republican women and one schmuck. LOL.

    • cheezwhizz

      Beckel was thinking —
” my left arm is fatter than this lady “

      • 911Infidel

Nah. He was thinking “Holy smokes Batman, this chick is even hotter in person. I better keep that tingle running up and down my leg to myself”. :p)

      • PVG

        You’re killin’ me cheez!

      • MortimusMaximus

I’ll bet his left arm got real tired after the show

    • I don’t at all agree with Bob Beckel’s politics, but in his defense, he’s a big dog-lover. In fact, I believe he and Mark Levin became friends because of their shared love of dogs.

Put another way, Bob Beckel may be a flaming lib, but I doubt he’d ever tie his dog in a kennel on the roof of his family car.

      • 911Infidel

Yep. He’s also a generous humanitarian who spends time and money helping out with charities. Old Bob reminds me of Catholics that I grew up with who were always trying to buy their way into Purgatory. They looked so holy on Sunday, gave generously to the poor, but lived like Satan’s little brother or sister the rest of the week. That’s what I see in Bob.

        • MLCBLOG

He is trying to show how good he is. I’d rather he’d act different and let us see him acting nice, open, not so always abrasive and judgmental.

          • 911Infidel

He should let his yes be yes and his no be no rather than the middle position of being “luke warm”.

            • MLCBLOG

That is for us believers. I don’t think he knows the language (yet).

              • 911Infidel

                Ah a fellow believer. Outstanding.

          • Beckel shared just last week, on “The Five,” that he’d been severely abused as a child.
He didn’t whine about it; in fact, he didn’t share any details at all. He said it was “personal,” and he added that it contributed to his alcoholism and other “problems” in relationships (he’s been divorced).
            It’s sad.

BUT, his exposure to the other conservatives on “The Five,” plus with Sarah of course, will HELP HIM LEARN how silly and FALSE is liberalism! Keep praying for him!

            • MLCBLOG

Ever heard the gallows humor of AA? pray for the son of a bitch!!

      • Thanks for that.

Beckel has a serious negative impact on me often due to his politics. (To put it in a way that won”t attract the FBI)

But, credit where credit is due. He does a lot of volunteer work helping addicts. He, IMO, is a decent person as long as you don’t get into politics.

        • Agreed, and the dog stuff is a big deal to me. Knowing helps addicts also makes me think well of him (aside from politics). My closest friend, who I’ve known since we were fourteen and fifteen (I’m 38, he’s 37), recently went into AA, and I went with him as a guest to some of the meetings. It was inspiring, hearing from all those people who’d hit rock bottom and pulled themselves up, or were in the process of pulling themselves up. By and large my charitable contributions go to animal welfare and veterans’ groups, but I was very happy to contribute what I could when they passed the basket around at the end of the meetings. So points for Beckel there, too.

Another funny thought re Beckel: I think his son’s a conservative — and a fan of Mark Levin.

      • MLCBLOG

        Only dogs would love him.

      • 4rcane

        Hitler love dogs too.

…..and tonight she is on with Eric Bolling and drops a bomb. If at a brokered convention she was asked to run for President……..She would!!

BOLLING: Governor, a lot of people are saying it can’t happen. I don’t necessarily agree with them. If one of the nominees, one of the GOPers, doesn’t get enough delegates, it could go the a brokered convention.
If it does get to that and someone said, Governor, would you be interested, would you be interested?
PALIN: Well, for one, I think that it could get to that. And I — you know, if it had to — if it had to be kind of closed up today, the whole nominating process, then we would be looking at a brokered convention.
I mean nobody is quite there yet. So I think that months from now, if that’s the case, then, you know, all bets are off as to who it will be willing to offer themselves up in the name of service to their country. I would — I would do whatever I could to help.
    BOLLING: That’s — that’s fantastic.

Oh my! I’m getting interested again! She’s the one I want to run.

      • MLCBLOG

She’s the only one with the gumption, the fortitude, the cajones who is bright enough and quick enough and has a grasp on the terrain. Maybe when her children are not so young!! They are still under her protective roof …..would you let those media hounds loose on your babies?

      • c4pfan

        Me too!

        • GretaN

She would have my vote in a nanosecond!

  • DocBarry1

    Gov Palin was spectacular!!!

The interaction between The Members of the Five and Gov Palin was extremely positive and fun

    • BarbaCat

“She was great with GG about Red Eye and even called him “Gut” ”
…didn’t she say she was going to be on Red Eye, too?

NOW lets see how the other candidates fare against Sarah Palin. This election cycle just racheted up. It’s going to be a wild ride from here on out!

  • HiramHawk

    This is very good.

  • Off topic — Is Amazon campaigning for Obama now? Go to Amazon website and see if the O logo is on the weblink address bar? I asked the Amazon boards about it and my post was deleted I guess?

    • RefudiateObama2012

Jamie Gorelick was just elected to Amazon’s Board of Directors.

      • cheezwhizz

I wonder how much Amazon will give to Obama’s coffers now that Obama has his man inside Amazon ?

        • You have to wonder what they will give.. I am waiting for one more order to come in tomorrow and then the account is getting deleted. You know someone like that is just going to over reach and be in everyone’s business gathering data, etc. This is just not normal at all to me..

          • tvlgds

oh yeah. And she’ll control what we can and cannot buy. I may have to write off the $79 I paid for Prime and start buying locally. I cannot support that hag or Ocrapola!

          • cheezwhizz

It is always about the money.
Amazon did work out a compromise with Jerry Brown regarding the CA sales tax issue, ofcourse that was an incomplete piece of information.
NOW, the info is complete, with Obama’s disaster chick inside Amazon.

            From the link :
Inc. for years has fought state efforts to force it to collect sales taxes from its customers. Now, instead of battling the tax man, the company is looking to profit — by hiring itself out as an Internet tax collector.

In an abrupt about-face, the company is now offering to handle sales-tax chores for merchants who sell products through its site for a fee equivalent to 2.9% of the taxes collected.
The optional service, which is set to roll out Feb. 1, will be offered to Amazon’s third-party vendors in all 50 states. It’s a strategy that could reap millions of dollars in new revenue for Amazon, which has been among the most vocal opponents of government attempts to tax e-commerce……
…………………But the rise of Internet commerce has made it a plum target for wider taxation. U.S. Internet retail sales topped $176 billion last year and are expected to reach $279 billion by 2015, according to Forrester Research Inc. Online sales currently account for about 9% of total retail sales, a share that’s projected to triple over the next few decades. State and local governments are determined to force Amazon and others to pay up.

“The reality is … that they are going to be collecting sales tax,” said Benjamin Schachter a senior analyst for Internet and interactive entertainment stocks for Macquarie Capital (USA) Inc., a New York investment bank.

In California, Amazon recently abandoned a much-criticized effort to repeal a new Internet sales tax law passed by the state legislature this year. Instead, the company cut a deal with the administration of Gov. Jerry Brown to start collecting and remitting California’s 7.25% sales tax, plus local sales taxes, beginning Sept. 15., 2012.
With so much money, the greedy custard HAD to get in the game !!

      • For heaven’s sake.. well I guess I will just delete my account then. Shame.. did you see the O logo? Can’t believe it.. they are just in every aspect of our lives no matter how small.. sheesh.. thanks for the info.

        • RefudiateObama2012

The logo doesn’t show up on mine, but It may be because a cookie takes me to a page that greets me by name.

Oh dear God, no! And I just bought into Amazon prime. I’ve been an Amazon customer since 1999, and I will have to boycott them now!

      • JRD1

I won’t purchase anything from Amazon again, thanks!

And I just let their customer service department that message.

      • blueniner

I do not see any O there or anything suggesting they are stumping for Obama.

      • I looked again late last night and this morning and it is gone now, I wished I would have grabbed a screen shot. It was there all day yesterday into the evening. Doesn’t matter to me that it is not their now, what matters to me is that it “was” there and it tells me alot. Who knows they may show it again, I couldn’t believe they were showing it over their own Amazon Icon on the web link. It was a stump stunt for sure, I am betting lots of people saw it and there were other complaints.

  • We that will vote for Newt Gingrich on Election Day, Tuesday, November 6, 2012, are on our own. We know without a doubt that Newt is the obvious choice based on his consistent revelations in debates. But most media outlets have abandoned any follow up to the Gingrich campaign to lead us to think that Gingrich is going to fade away. Nothing to this effect is true, but rather regardless what the media chooses to write their stories about, We the people of the United States will elect Newt Gingrich not only to repeal ever death policy that Obama has created, but also release the economic engine in this country AND GET PEOPLE WORKING AGAIN TO REGAIN THEIR LIVES!

He just not very clean. Smart, yes. Wise, no.

      • Actually Newt is very clean. very Smart, and wise thanks

Oh, that was fun. She just fits in wherever she goes, doesn’t she?

  • JRD1

Thanks scoop for the surprise. Appreciate it!

  • this is soooo funny!! i love sarah’s sense of humor, she is sweet and fun to be around. the end when she kicked/hit beckel was priceless. and the facial epression she made when bolling said that she answered a question about a brokered convention was funny, too. they were so excited to have sarah suddenly appear. she lights up a room and attracts attention wherever she goes.

  • tvlgds

Oh man, I turned it off so didn’t see Sarah!

    • RefudiateObama2012

Did you mean you turned it off so that you didn’t have to see her, or did you mean you turned it off early and missed seeing her?

      • tvlgds

Of course I didn’t turn it off so I wouldn’t have to see her, although I can see why you’d ask since I ran my sentence together. I turned it off because I wasn’t in the mood for everyone yelling over each other like they do every night. That’s why I quit watching Hannity (with or without Colmes) years ago–everybody just yells and nobody is heard. I WOULD have missed her, but thanks to RS I didn’t! 😉

  • virginiagentleman1

It never fails to amaze me that when Palin meets with detractors like Bob Beckel and Bushies like Dana, she so easliy turns them into friends. The Power of Palin.

    • Is_Sense_Common

Have you ever been to see her at an event Gentleman? She truly lights up the entire room and just effervesces positive energy. Her body language is strong, her face is beautiful, and her message is on-target every time. I was “got” right away. (I don’t mean to sound like Barry-Bot – I really have challenged her assertions and found her to have grown a lot since 2008.)

      • virginiagentleman1

I’ve never had the honor of meeting her or attending an event that she was speaking at. I plan to correct that in Tampa, my friend.
As for when she ‘got’ me, it was when I realized that the light of our savior shone from her face, ISC. That was enough!

        • toongoon

Too bad so many people don’t recognize that light.

          • virginiagentleman1

Good evening, my friend! How are you and Miss Oyl tonite? I’ll bet both of you spoiled your grandbaby rotten the other day!! lol

I agree, many folks don’t recognize that light! And the reason is they do not have that light within them! It takes one to know one! You see it because YOU possess it within you, TG. As more folks come to know God, they’ll see it too.
As for me, today has been a great day because a woman who places the Creator first in all things is willing to serve if asked!
Things are looking up, my brother!

            • toongoon

Woo Hoo! Thanks for being the first to clue me in about that. That’s exciting news.
              I’ve got the video buffering.

Great week, Olive is doing well, and we are enjoying our alone time so far. Grandbaby’s a doll but cries only when I talk to her. That means that when she gets over fear of me curiosity will set in and then we will be inseparable.

I hope the two of you are fine as well.

              • virginiagentleman1

She knows and understands and identifies the scent of her mother and father, the scent of their skin and the blood flowing under it. The scent of her family. I’m willing to bet that when Olive held her close, she held the baby close to her neck and close to her heart. It took me a while to learn that.
The baby heard her moms heartbeat for nine months before she made her way into the world. My firstborn grandchild was the same way as your grandaughter. If I held him close, he was fine. If I held him away from me so that I could look into his face and talk to him, well, I learned quick not to do that! What a powerful set of lungs he had for one so tiny! I’d hold him close to my neck and talk to him and things went fine. lol. Even the tiny babes can teach us old geezers a thing or two!

                • toongoon

I believe your right my friend. I am up for the challenge, somehow I always worm my way into their hearts. ;-D

                • virginiagentleman1

Heck, TG, I KNEW that! Who in the world could possibly turn you down when you turn on the ole charm! You and your granddaughter are very much blessed by each other! Isn’t life a joy when the wee ones come into our lives!!

            • toongoon

          • virginiagentleman1

A fine reason, mymati. Any stimuli that causes one to seek God is a fine reason! I took some time to read thru a few of your comments in your profile and activity. You are one who holds strong convictions and I salute you for that.
Welcome here, friend! Let’s see what we can do to get Palin elected as 45th POTUS. Prayer is always an excellent start!

  • Man oh man! Loved the hell out of this clip. Beckel looked very uncomfortable in the beginning. Sarah definitely has the “it” factor. Beckel……… well, he reminds me of something that rhymes with *it*.

    • sandynsavannah

Very interesting. He did seem very uncomfortable. She must have a strong dynamic about her in person, they all seemed sort of “star struck”…for lack of a better word.

    • Beckel is a liberal sh$t. But he really strikes me as a nice person. Someone you’d like to have as a friend if life got really tough.

      Can’t stand his politics though…

  • I’d love to see her on Greg’s show, that would be awesome! I hope she’s on the list of possible running mates whom ever our nominee is! Romney/Palin has a nice ring to it! 🙂

    • JRD1
    • Romney/Palin????????????

    • Santorum/Palin has a much better ring to it!

      • We need executive experience in the Oval.

      • Think about it. Santorum’s organization who happened to fail to get on the Virginia ballot vs. Obama’s billion dollor campaign machine. Whom do you want to go against Obama? Romney with the executive experience, better organization, well funded, enormous support, major support from both houses of congress which is needed to get things done in Washington, national name identity, an economic turn around background record, someone who can help us gain control of the Senate while still running for President. Or, Santorum……..

  • tjd4life

    Lucky Todd…wow!

I don’t watch Beckel or Colmes.

You should watch this one. Beckel is star struck!

      • sandynsavannah

Ah!… I can’t believe it. I had just posted the same word “star struck” …and when I updated you had already posted it.

Just goes to show how obvious the tension was.

      • Beckel has a new Valentine!!

      • Stehekin912

Ok. I’ll watch this just for you, and because I like Sarah Palin.

  • anneinarkansas

Thanks Scoop, I missed this and thought I was going to have to wait until 2am.

I hope she is on RedEye!!

  • Jpep

Beckel is a creep plain and simple and I mean it the way women mean it “he’s creeeepy.”

This guy has no redeeming qualities whatsoever and when Hannity & Levin fawn over their friendship with him, it royally ticks me off. This is the guy in the group that embarrasses everyone else while others make excuses for him.

With that said look at Palin’s reaction when he complimented her. Her instincts kicked in thanked him and covered up immediately.

    • toongoon

      Beckel has no class.

Just wait till Jesus gets a hold of him! We won’t recognize him.

  • carmtom13

What a surprise, I really don’t think they knew she was coming on. I loved it.

  • They should have brought up Beckel getting caught with a young prostitute. Gotta love fox news standards.

    • He is a liberal it is expected of them to be a dog. He won’t mess with her because next time she won’t be so nice and kick him under the table. Words hurt wose sometimes than any physical taps. ;o)

    • lonestar

I believe he paid with a bad check, which is how he got caught.

Sarah Palin will be appearing with Eric Bolling tonight at 10:00 p.m. Eastern on “Follow The Money”, the FOX Business Network.
Earlier today, Eric Bolling posted the following to his Facebook page:
“ALERT! Palin breaking big news… the 15 minutes with Gov Sarah that may change everything.. stay tuned 10p FBN”
This statement has created quite a buzz on Mr. Bolling’s Facebook
page. A portion of Governor Palin’s segment (recorded earlier today)
has been posted via transcript and it seems that the excitement
surrounds a comment made when discussing a brokered GOP convention. She
    is quoted as follows:
“I mean nobody is quite there yet. So I think that months from
now, if that’s the case, then, you know, all bets are off as to who it
will be willing to offer themselves up in the name of service to their
country. I would — I would do whatever I could to help”

I shall say it once again – Sarah Palin is America’s Margaret Thatcher. I should know; I lived in the UK while Lady Thatcher was PM and she dragged the UK back from the brink. The Unions were running amok and entitlements were everywhere. Of course, the UK has slipped back to pre-Thatcher days, thanks to successive Labor Party administrations and their incessant “multiculturalism”, as well as EU inflictions. In fact, things are even worse. Here in the USA we are just behind the UK and Europe in a slide from which we can barely recover. Sarah Palin is the ONLY one, helped by someone like Alan West, who can stand a fair chance of saving the country.

    • carmtom13

      Great post. Thank you!

    • barracuda43

      Palin/West 2012

    • s.hayward2

Totally agree. And the coalition government we have now under a supposed conservative is little better than a labour government.Since the conservative party it sticks in my throat to call it that as frankly they have become a corporatist, socially liberal party who are frightened of being seen as the ‘nasty party’ and being as radical as they need to be, stabbed mrs thatcher in the back it has never been the same. Years in the political wilderness and only managed is a coalition with the lib dems despite the labour party under brown being hugely unpopular and brown it was thought had become mentally unstable.

It was not lost on me that sarah palin walked out to speak at CPAC brandishing the trademark handbag, that mrs thatcher used when she went to bash some heads in europe.

  • Bob Beckel never looks her in the eye like a typical liberal coward that is subconsciously ashamed of his beliefs.

    • Is_Sense_Common

I think he’s ashamed of his own bad-mouthing of Gov. Palin, as he should be! The schmuck.

  • When Sarah speaks…
    … people listen.

When Sarah shows up on tv…
… life and exuberance show up too.

  • I don’t have television so I enjoyed that.

I like the way Palin fixes her jaw when she’s having a cordial conversation with someone who deserves a punch in the nose (Beckel).

Dana Perino is an angel. ::crush::

  • toongoon

No matter the circumstances, Governor Palin always has a kind word……even to Beckel.

    • Because she loves to kill them with kindness. My favorite saying.

      • I propose a new saying…

Instead of “kill” them with kindness…

… how about “awake” them with kindness?

To “kill” with kindness is appropriate because all it really means is to “kill” their negativity… with kindness.

To “awake” with kindness has so many, uh, shall we say, “uplifting” possibilities.

You know what they say about doing good to your enemy 🙂

I was wondering what the body-language of licking her teeth meant when she was contemplating Schmekle’s comments. I think it meant she was doing all she could to allow only kind words out of her mouth. She has such grace and discipline. Great spot.

      • toongoon

I think you’re right isc, I would have to bite my tongue to keep my real thoughts in.

      • virginiagentleman1

In an earlier time in my life, I had the high honor and privilege of serving with some of Americas most lethal warriors. To a man, when hunting other men, all licked their teeth just before, and sometimes during combat.
Have you ever watched big cats such as tigers or lions hunting on tv? Or your pet cat as it stalks a bird or mouse? They lick their teeth before a hunt, their lips after a hunt. Very PRIMAL in a hunter/huntress. Just sayin’.

Yes – I like that Gent. You draw a vivid picture with your words. I think you might be onto something…

          • virginiagentleman1

Sometimes known as a “wolfish” grin as well.

  • Soooo,, any bets on how long it takes before Bob Beckel washes his left hand?

    • cheezwhizz

How can he wash his hands now that he has gone blind ??

  • I wish Sarah Palin was on regular rotation on “The Five.” She’s sharp and so down-to-earth.

  • christie

Sarah was down to earth and show the others minus Eric, they are bobble loud talking heads. What she said made them seem irrelvant. Hoping she endorses Newt and will campaign with him in Michigan and AZ-time to gut out the rinos, Sarah. Game on!

  • cudaforever

Wow, how cool was that ? 🙂

  • MarkRNY

    She is SOOOOOOOOOO fricken pretty!!

They insured Betty Grable’s legs for 1 mil (and Sarah’s ain’t too shabby either btw). They should insure her smile for a billion!

Beckle’s the smitenist thing I’ve ever seen! Only an Obama wouldn’t be…maybe Romney too.

    • Conservative_Hippie

LOL, Sarah smites even the most liberal of pundits!

    • blueniner

      Sarahs a charmer……

    • Rightmindedmom

Obama wouldn’t be smitten by her, because according to Hillbuzz (of Chicago), Obama is GAY. They would know. They’re gay too.

      • Your soooo right…BO is gay! Have you noticed BO has more gay & lesbian people in his cabinet (& surrounding him) than any other president? His relationship with Michele is a show… to make him appear married. The same as Hillary & Bill’s marriage was…she’s a lesbian…nobody knows what Bill is….ha! How would the American Christians feel if they knew this tangled mess is going on in our whitehouse? Sarah & Todd will have to do some heavy duty fumigating before they move in…huh?

  • Conservative_Hippie

She is truly a breath of fresh air!

  • sodakhic

Sarah is one fun gal. The Palin family gatherings must be a hoot. She drove her 4 inch heel right into Beckels shin. Love it.

  • detectivedick

Maybe it should be the six on The Five ? Sarah is the best, this Nation needs her now more than ever!

  • conservativemama

So fun. Poor Bob, he couldn’t help himself, he was smitten.

  • Luker410

    She’s the real deal.

    • barracuda43

You are so right.Hurricane Sarah is coming and thr Rinos will be running for cover!

  • MiBones

I like to think that Bob Beckel was being courteous to Sarah Palin. I believe that she would normally be addressed as Governor. This way he showed her respect by asking her ,on the air,for the use of her first name, and no one would think he was disrespecting her.

  • publius1969

bloated beckel is there for comic relief…that stupid, dull look whenever he can’t make a comeback is priceless…nonetheless he is a diehard liberal who should be squashed whenever possible.

  • Been_There_BT

    1. “surprise guest” that was a smart move … it didn’t give the libs a chance to pass on their anti-Palin talking points and we know the brainless libs are speechless without them

    2. I noticed the – would you support Romney question … what’s the matter Rombots, feeling insecure? Craving a little Palin love now are ya after trying to destroy her?

  • anneinarkansas

I watched this yesterday…even ole Beckel was enchanted.

  • bobemakk

She is truly a lady and people call her stupid, and she is not. I saw the entire show with Sarah Palin. Too bad McCain ran such a clean campaign or we could have had her for VP, it would have made a huge difference in our country. The administration we have now stinks, and it looks like he is getting closer and closer to re-election. God help US if that happens.

  • Sober_Thinking

    This was fun. 🙂

  • Ana

    Like Bob needs more Chocolate.

  • cinderellafe

While all three gentlemen rose, they all took their seat again before the lady was seated. (I wont even bother with the men ingratiating their greetings prior to the other ladies present.) It might say a lot in relation to their show persona as an entrenched groove. Five spokes of a wheel working to niche market share appeal contrasted with a “missile defense shield be thy big tent” pennant, swinging for the fences in Palin.

If Glenn Beck proved anything in the 5pm time-slot, would it not be that influence matters more than ratings in the news divisions, too? For decades, media entertainment divisions focused more on their programming getting the lion’s share of water cooler buzz and print media ink for a “laid bare” branding win over ratings, even pushing the bounds of propriety and law in an industry town “winning at all costs” drive against competition. Contrasted with the media news divisions who have only given a glimpse of diversity of thought from liberalism as if it were a lady’s bare ankle. How upside-down the two crony business models and working cultures are for sustained social harmonization or ensuring America’s cultural inheritance. But then, what can one expect from the circle jerk that is hard news and entertainment news media. Talk about epistemic closure: From JournOlist to Hollywood, they are only feeding the government plantation, and pushing p.c. non-conformity as anti-social hate. Besieged on both coasts with the greater part of the world beating the underbrush, driving collectivism forward, how brave Middle America has been and for so long.

There is quite an industry built up around teaching model peer behaviour to special needs kids, and good manners are never out of fashion, so how telling is it in our decadent culture the media “elites” feel cowed, or bound, by militant feminism to alter such niceties between the sexes out of the very definition of manhood?

  • friskyness

She did make Beckel smile. I wonder if he will still bad mouth her. It’s easier to bad mouth her behind her back.
