Sarah Palin’s full interview with Matt Lauer

This is Sarah Palin’s exclusive interview with Matt Lauer on the Today Show from this morning where she is also set to co-host the show in the 2nd hour. They talk the GOP nomination, the potential VP pick, the economy and more.

My favorite part of the interview was when Lauer pressed her on whether or not the nominee should pick a VP with national level experience given the problems that Lauer suggested she had on the campaign trail in 2008, and she responded by saying:

I would say it doesn’t matter if that person has national level experience or not. They’re gonna get clobbered by the lame stream media who does not like the conservative message…

BAM! Love how she doesn’t change her spots just because she’s co-hosting the Today Show.

Here’s the full interview:

    Scoop, you are the best!!!

Thank you so much for posting this so quickly.

    • Conservative_Hippie

      Hear Hear!

    • Joel_Fiser

Maybe this is where Sarah will help save our country. I desperately wanted her to run fpor Prez… but let’s face it, our worst enemy is the MSM. Without the MSM – we wouldn’t have Obama.

Sarah is going to the source of the problem.

      • B-Funk

If there was only some way she could become in charge of a MSM outlet. I know that’s dreaming, but I totally agree with what you say about the MSM being a source of the problem.

  • Did Matt just admit he is the lame stream media? AWSOME!

    • Spartan4Palin

I love how she won’t commit that Rmoney just doesn’t have what it takes to bring the Conservative vote to him. An obvious dig. And a dig to those in the establishment to remind them that they suck at picking a candidate that no one wants!!! Geeez,,,,I love this woman.

It’s also obvious that Lauer can’t corner her into saying something detremental to the GOP. I love how she also takes it straight to him for asking dumb questions!! Her look at him for asking that lameass question of not having ‘national’ experience. You know she wanted to flick him right on the forehead!!!!!!

      • las1

In a backhanded way.. I’ll give kudos to Lauer… in this sense only… he’s reminding Sarah Palin that Romney is a very very tough sell to Americans. He knows it… she knows it. And his driving this home is a vision of what’s to come should Romney win the nomination. Buckle up!

There! I’ve said it…”kudos” to Lauer. (shudder) Now I think ill go wash my keyboard and my fingertips.

        • Spartan4Palin

I’d also like to add in response to Lauer’s question –

Sarah: Well Matt, I would put my ‘HONEST’ record as a CEO of a city, of a state, as an oil and gas regulator, up against any of your so-called reporting of late on the Zimmerman-Martin story, anyday!!!

        • Conservative_Hippie

What I’ve noticed about liberal anchors, reporters, or what have you – after they meet and interview Sarah, they genuinely like her. I mean it’s easy to throw stones from a distance at an ideology, but when they meet Sarah Palin in person they find out that that ideology is in reality a charming, confident and strong woman with down to earth conservative values – and that disarms and makes impotent the leftist message.

Note: sorry for the run on sentences

          • las1

I’ll defer to the great one, NO… the other Great One… Mark Levin. Conservatism is not an ideology, but an understanding … an understanding of how the world works. I like to remind conservatives not to fall for the liberals defining what conservatism is… ideology is what they have. We have reality based on natural law.

            • Conservative_Hippie

              I stand corrected.

              • las1

Hippie Con… you got it right… they throw stones because they accuse us of having an ideology. No we have reality… You’ll no doubt remember what Reagan said… “Well, the trouble with our liberal friends is not that they are ignorant, but that they know so much that isn’t so.

            • Spartan4Palin

Just to steal a line or two from Taylor Swift’s new song Ours, to explain Conservatism to Liberals:

‘They’ll judge it like they know about me and you. And the verdict comes from those with nothing else to do,,,,,,,People throw rocks at things that shine. The stakes are high and the water’s rough.’ (But this love of America is OURS.)

Sarah shines like that. And so to make themselves feel better and the need to attack her for being inadequate compared to her, they do this!

              • Conservative_Hippie

                Well said Spartan!

        • Josie

las1, I think that is why they are doing what they can to steer us into voting for Romney. We have known it most of this campaign. It’s clear they want to pit Romney against the blunder in the WH because they will be able to match and score against him. We have our work cut out for us this November and we better start with much prayer.

  • Trust1TG

Sarah Palin is taking no prisoners – a voice of Truth.

    Truth without apology.

  • sarahhasmyvote

Thanks for this early post. I can go to work without dying to know how she is doing, which is GREAT!

  • it won’t be lame much longer!

  • DINOright

Oh, yeah, love the way the Sarah-cudda rolls!!! I kept hoping she would snark back, especially when he said “….you took some hard knocks….” (paraphr.) from the media in 2008. I envisioned a “Yes, yes you did, Matt!” But, nah……she is WAAAAY to classy. BTW – she is NOT “part of the lame stream media now” – she proved it by not letting him get his straw man arguments off and running, not giving him an inch of ground. Loved LOVED! how she said, “Whoever the GOP nominates don’t know what’s coming at them….the double standard, the attacks…..” Right in HIS face, baby!! And, she deflected his push to get her to say she wants to be picked at convention by repeating, “Anybody. But. Obama.” Those words MUST sting, burn! someone like Matty Lauer. Good!

  • thanks for posting this!!

    • Conservative_Hippie

      Welcome back Jasmine!

  • Karl Rogue

She’s doing great. She could do her own show, easily–but I’m hoping she stays in the political arena.

  • denbren52

Thanks for posting this so I didn’t have to tune in to NBC (nothing but Commies). Sarah did a great job as usual and I just loved the way she slammed one of the most elite of the elite lame-stream media right to his face without ever missing a beat. I bet it kills him that she got to stick around for the another hour.

  • wodiej

Love me some Gov. Palin. They try to box her in and like Gingrich, she’s just not having it. Hope she’s part of the next administration. VP or in some capacity where she scrutinizes the money spent and/or energy policy. That recent admin who spent $1 million on a trip/party w clown wouldn’t have happened under Palin’s watch.

    • virginiagentleman1

She will be in the next admin, milady. President.

  • FreeManWalking

NBC air waves blasting Anyone But 0b0ma…

You know the WH is talking to execs now trying to pull her from the set.

  • wodiej

loved it when she was sitting on the couch reading all the different newspapers…lol

    • later she was writing on her hand. she’s so funny…

      • Conservative_Hippie

…and has just the right amount of delicious mischievousness!

  • Swiss_Guard

    God bless Sarah

    • Conservative_Hippie

I can’t say it any better than those 3 words!

  • idesign2

    Sarah’s rocking 30 Rock..:)

  • toongoon

She is still amazing. The GOP really has no idea how hard the commies are going to hit them.

    • virginiagentleman1

My dear friend, the GOPe never takes enough time to remove their lips from each others behinds in order to see whats going on in the world around them! They are truely CLUELESS! Butt kissers are never ready for war.
The Bos’n of the JFK once said to a group of newbie bosnmates, ” You will not compromise on the care you give this carrier! From the first time you compromise, the next compromise is just around the corner!” Sounds like the GOPe, compromise after compromise! Bos’n Gilbert would have keelhauled them back in the day!

    • She just keeps getting *more* amazing, toon. I think this is the best interview she’s ever done- Picture. Perfect. Not a word, not a nuance…nothing out of place.
Newt & Sarah, in any order!

    • She just keeps getting *more* amazing, toon. I think this is the best interview she’s ever done- Picture. Perfect. Not a word, not a nuance…nothing out of place.
Newt & Sarah, in any order!

  • Sandra123456

I hope Sarah Palin doubles the ratings of the Today Show for the days she is on. It would show that the Today show could do better with different hosts than they now have and no agenda other than the truth.

    • It is so sad! They could save themselves so *easily*. (Dang, I miss weekend breakfast with the paper)

  • Rob_Bryant

Workin’ on 3 hours of sleep here, but had to get up to watch : )

  • GJPinks

Matt completely ignored her accurate description… “these failed SOCIALIST policies”
    Love me some Sarah.

  • tinker_thinker

    She’s awesome!

  • Gob Bless Sarah. Thanks for posting.

  • BMinPA

This was her best interview in a long time. She often loses steam moments into the answer and starts blabbering. Not this time. BTW, wasn’t she supposed to co-host with Katie Curic on ABC?

    • She did well, but I wish she’d fought back harder against the false narrative that the economy is improving. It’s stagnating, not improving. There’s a big difference. Everyone in the GOP needs to get on the same page on that. The economy was technically in recovery in 1992, yet the Democrat/media complex was very effective with the “worst economy in 50 years” message that got drilled into the heads of a majority of the electorate.

      • las1

Agreed… But it’s not just the economy. She should have turned it around also by saying “waddabout”, foreign policy, waddabout extremist left wing radicals in the WH, waddabout Saudi kissing and bowing energy policy (she touched on it a bit), waddabout Obama’s race baiting, waddabout extreme leftists marxist class warfare, waddabout… waddabout

      • StrangernFiction

An improving economy does not necessarily mean an improving overall condition. Every time this topic is brought up the response needs to include a heavy dose of DEBT.

  • Nukeman60

This was not an interview. It was a debate. It was interesting that he would continue to press, “are you happy’ with Romney. It’s not a matter of anyone being happy. It’s about what’s best for America.

I love at the end when he said, ‘you’re going to stick around, which techniquely makes you part of the lame stream media’.

No, idiot, you still don’t get it, do you? Being on NBC doesn’t make you LSM, it’s what you say that makes you Lame. Try to keep up.

  • Asian_chic

Star Jones look like she’s got hemorrhoids! Very hard to look at. Sarah was awesome as usual. I just noticed something, this is the first time I’m ACTUALLY watching Today show. I bet their ratings are sky high.

  • KM

Wow! Sarah was awesome. Matt was your standard “media prick” that continuously tried to disrupt her answers. This backfired on Matt and NBC…

    • He wasn’t that bad. It was a relatively mild interview by drive-by media standards. The real problem is that he’s not like this with everyone, Democrat or Republican.

  • gothicreader

It always amazes me how beautiful and smart she looks at any given time. No wonder the women on the left are so jealous of Sarah.

I feel Sarah is our Margaret Thatcher of our time.

    • StNikao

“No wonder the women on the left are so jealous of Sarah.”

It’s not just the left, as we have seen with Coulter.

      • kim

What do you mean? Coulter is a part of the left as far as I’m concerned. She has been acting like a leftist lately.

  • MrMicawber

  • Nukeman60

I got a kick out the the later segment with ‘the professionals’. What’s up with Donny Douche. He turned every single question back to Palin, and he couldn’t stop grabbing people. Good thing Sarah was two seats away. She may well have ‘gently’ broken his wrist.

  • virginiagentleman1

Palin owned Lauer in this interview! Two aggressive personalities going head to head and Palin was in top form. She wouldn’t allow him to talk over her, and he tried, oh how he tried! Much different then their first interview 4 years ago. At that time she was shackled by her McCain ‘handlers’. This time she was unchained and the result was another example of the Power of Palin, “Undefeated”!
She rocked 30 Rock pretty darn well. If you watched the entire 2 hour Today show, she made some friends on set and if the show is as highly rated as was forecasted, she won millions of new supporters.
Her secret? Sarah Palin was just being Sarah Palin, and not at all the ‘liberal portrayal’ of her.

    • “Her secret? Sarah Palin was just being Sarah Palin, and not at all the ‘liberal portrayal’ of her. ”

Yes. And that’s why it was such a brilliant move of her to be on the show. She gets to be seen by millions who have only gotten a distorted view of her.

What other candidate would not LOVE to get this publicity for free??? What would it cost them in advertising dollars to be seen by this amount of people? And here is is getting paid for it…lol… Priceless!!!

      The Power of Palin!!!!!

      • virginiagentleman1

I’ve gotta say that it is great fun watching Sarah Palin at work! One never knows what she’ll do next! It seems that her detractors have finally gotten the news that Palin has a photograpic memory. If she reads it, she owns it forever. The trick questions were few and far between.
All in all, I’d say she surprised quite a few liberals this morning and won some converts!
Agreed my dear friend, the Power of Palin! Awesome!

  • Dick_Parker

I didn’t feel there were any outright “gotcha” questions in the Matt Lauer interview, or “gotcha innuendos after 8:00 o’clock. The hour, overall, seemed to be spirited, animated and devoid of obvious snarkiness, with maybe only a couple of exceptions.
You don’t suppose that there has been a subtle shift in some leftest media types that it might very well be a good thing to stay on the good side of the political lightning Sarah
wields, tweaking Katie’s nose, notwithstanding. I believe they are coming to believe Sarah might be the one political force not to be denied for the rest of this decade…….Grrrr.
    (to be continued)

  • tx_gold

I’ll have to go to huff-po this am and see how they spin this. Should be interesting. It’s like being in a cage with a bunch of parrots. They all say the same thing!

    • Stay safe! (clear your cache & close your browser when you’re done)

  • Lauer was not at his most obnoxious, probably because of the scandal that NBC doctored the Zimmerman 911 tape. They are probably peeing in their pantz.

  • wales777

  • Hope you put the Dr. Nancy, Danny D segment up Scoop…from the comments it sounds interesting…and maybe like they didn’t accomplish making her look foolish…not sure I believe that they didn’t try.

    • virginiagentleman1

Lauer tried to, Paula, but she owned him for the entire show. He is severely handicapped when trying to match wits with her, and he knew it!

  • W.

Sarah reads newspapers to study for show – brings up Tina Fay –

  • Guest1776rcp

Love Palin but she’s wrong about Romney being able to inspire. He hasn’t in six years now and its not going to happen any time soon.

    • Agree, but what else could she do or say….she wants Obama out of there in the worst of ways. She wanted to say so badly that Romney is a mistake, but did not go there.

      • Guest1776rcp

Truth to power that’s what I admire about Palin but she is EPIC FAIL on this one. Romney will not make a better president than Obama because Romney will deliver another Obama or Obama himself in four years if he happened to win. Too many people have way too much faith in the GOP establishment, I don’t because I remember they held all the power and didn’t reduce the debt they nearly doubled it, added more entitlements and expanded the size and scope of government instead of reducing the size and scope. I remember the establishment hacks teaming up with Pelosi on BS ethics charges against the only fiscally responsible Speaker we’ve had in a very long time. The idea it will be different THIS TIME with Romney reminds me of the next commie wannabes who claims the last guy just did it all wrong and he’ll be the one to get it right THIS TIME. No thanks! I’d rather a lame duck Obama with GOP controlled House and Senate than Romney and GOP controlled houses because the Bush years are still fresh in my memory.

        • Guest1776rcp

Anybody but Clinton gave us Obama so now the meme is anybody but Obama so we can get Romney? NUTS! No thanks!

        • I whole heartly agree with you here. I have been stating that a Romney presidency is going to make GWB second term Reganesque. If GWB brought us Obama, what in the world is Romney going to bring….I shudder to think.

It is why voting for Romney is such a short-sighted proposition with no long-range goals achievable.

      • LOL, Palin SHOULD have said….”he will generate excitement if he gets smart and begs me to campaign for him, I will draw 20, 30, 40 thousand people out to see him! I can bring the base, I can bring the mojo he needs, I can put him over the top.” That is what she could have said.

      • 🙂 She said it. She just didn’t say it with words.

  • E. Lee Zimmerman

Awwww. Matt’s mom must be so proud of him … trying to shout his questions at a lady in such a way … that dirtbag is lucky I’m not within an arm’s distance of him …

As always, Sarah looks lovely. Stunning in black!

OMG those shoes! I’d say she is ready to kick some lame stream arse! Go Sarah! 🙂

  • Thank you so much Right Scoop for getting this great interview posted so early. No one can “corner” the terrific Sarah Palin. I’m still prayin’, hopin’ and wishin. I say, “God bless, Sarah Palin.”

My goodness……that look on Sarah’s face when Lauer was leading up to the VP question….priceless! ♥

    • 3seven77

I was really wishing Sarah would have leaned over and flicked her fingers on his forehead.

  • nibblesyble

Looove it! She looked great and answered the questions with sass and intelligence. Can’t wait to see the second segment! BTW Scoop, it sure looks like traffic is up more than ever on the site lately with all of these new posters…a testiment to the best site on the web. Keep ’em, coming I say.

  • redstatewriter

BOOM! Taste my nightstick! Good thing for Matt that he had to go to commercial break after that last comment by Sarah Palin. He wouldn’t have had a comeback for that one.

  • LausDeoSemper

I love her! i love her face when Matt Lauer insults her. She’d kick his butt so badly in any exchange. This guy is a complete tool with no class. Go Sarah!!!! Thank you for standing up for our values!

  • Romney not going to do what the GOP Establishment wants…now that is laughable at best. Romney will not choose someone until he gets the green light from the higher ups!!!

Another reason not to vote for this man….

  • Constance

My heroine. God, I love her.

  • poljunkie

This clip seemed like a dueling of words.

  • GreenBeretWay

She shows up in all Black ready to stomp Lauer like the cockroach he is with her stiletto’s.
    Take No Prisoners. Wicked interview.

One warrior, admiring another warrior! Isn’t she the C-n-C you REALLY want, GBW?!! A C-n-C that takes her Constitutional oath as seriously as you do?

      • GreenBeretWay

I will say she is easier on the eye in comparison to the current C-n-C. Her ears are definitely smaller.IQ is higher. She has ALWAYS been proud of her country. No question she honors the constitution. She knows how to put lousy-lauer into LaLa land.Overall A+.Other then that I am not really at liberty to comment.LOL

        • virginiagentleman1

Believe me warrior, I do understand the constraints you are under, so, it will be our secret! lolol!

Great Job Scoop, you have a very large spoon, no wonder your scoop is always huge and good.

    • Gloria

Scoop is now my #1 blog to check. Indeed, Scoop is doing a great job.

  • carmtom13

Why oh why isn’t she running? This woman, Governor Sarah Palin is who we need to lead this country! She is the only one who has been taking it to BHO the past 3 years. Governor Palin is BHO’s biggest threat and BHO and his leftist crew are very happy she is not in this race; they know they can defeat the DC establishment candidate Romney IF he is the nominee. Governor Palin has been living rent free in BHOs head rent free since 2008.
GOP DC establishment are you people that dumb you don’t see this???

    • virginiagentleman1

Unfortunately my friend, yes, they ARE that dumb!
THEY think the Mittster is the best they can do! In a nutshell, this is a prime example of how out of touch the GOP is. They throw out the meat and are left with an empty shell!

      • actionsspeaklouder

I totally agree with you. The old guard GOP (Boehner, McConnell, Cantor) are destroying our chance to REMOVE Obahmmie the Commie. What is wrong with them? Kick Boehner and McConnell out of there. They are dinosauer’s and don’t know what’s going to hit them if they persist on pushing Romney on us. I’m sick over this. Just sick to my stomach every day. Get Boehner out. He is USELESS, TIMID AND WEAK.

        • virginiagentleman1

Act, my friend, if I had the answer to your question, ” What is wrong with them “, I promise you that I would share it with you! It seems that the entire repub leadership and many of the parties members are nothing more then ‘gutless wonders’.
It isn’t just the dems we must replace, Action.

  • EchoMike

I’m a little disappointed that she didn’t challenge the “the economy is getting better” propaganda. The correct response to that silly notion is simply point out every economic indicator that should be down is up, and the ones that should be up are down. Millions of people have left the workforce all together and aren’t even being counted. So spare me the “Happy days are here again” montra.

    • bcompson

She did to challenge it. Her response was “For whom is it getting better?” Spot on.

  • Sarah makes Ann Coulter look like a complete shill and sell out! Must be why Coulter has been attacking SP lately.

    • Nukeman60

Ann makes Ann look like a complete shill and sell out. I saw her on Hannity yesterday, complaining that people like Sarah are just in it for the money, all the while showing her anger that her books aren’t selling like she’d hope they would. The only reason Ann does anything these days is to support Christie and sell books.

I suspect that after the elections, she will be writing books for the liberals, bashing conservatives the way she did against the libs themselves. What goes around, comes back to haunt one.

      • 3seven77

“I suspect that after the elections, she will be writing books for the liberals, bashing conservatives the way she did against the libs themselves.”

Nuke, I have long suspected this. Coulter is all about Coulter. Now that she’s torpedoed her “conservative” credentials with her support of Willard and and her groupie-like obsession with Crispy Creme Christie, her book sales are lagging. She’ll naturally blame conservatives (cause it can’t be her fault, can it?) and she’ll switch sides. You just watch.

  • trustintheLORDwithallyourheart

In all fairness, I did not watch this interview or her segment as host of the Today Show. But, I have to say this…Sarah is getting on my nerves, and I say this as a former supporter of hers.

She is playing some kind of game here, and I feel like she is using us as pawns. I was convinced she was going to run for President. Everything she was doing (bus tour, Iowa, the timing of the release of The Undefeated, her speeches) indicated she was going to throw her hat in the ring. I was so excited. Then came the huge let-down interview with Mark Levin, where she declared she would not run.

Then she went silent for a long stretch. She never threw her support behind one of the candidates, but she’d say cryptic things like, if I lived in South Carolina, I would support Newt. What kind of garbage is that? If she was being straight with us that she was not going to run for President this time around, there would be no reason for her to not throw her full support and influence behind one of the candidates who were and are out there working their butts off to get the nomination. By stumping for her guy or gal, this primary season would have turned out completely different (in a good way). What happened to “you don’t need a title to make a difference”?

Oh, she’s made a difference alright — she is at least somewhat responsible for how horrible this primary has played out. It seems she is keeping all options open for herself, and leaving the rest of us to twist in the wind. Not very principled, if you ask me. What a huge disappointment. I feel like we can’t trust anybody. How sad is that?

    • virginiagentleman1

You feel that you can’t trust anyone? Trust in the Lord, not mankind!
Sounds to me that you are bummed out in general and not just at Palin. If politics and politicians get you down so much my friend, perhaps you should stop following them for a while? If you’ve read thru the comments on this thread today, you might notice that your view is in the minority. That is just an observation. Regardless of whether or not she runs, the primary fiasco is of the repub leaderships making, not Palins.
The Party is responsible for what it has offered up as it chose two candidates, Romney, and Paul as his foil. They did not want Gingrich or Santorum, thus the constant demands for them to quit the race. Personally, I’m glad both men have the sand to stand up to the corrupt republican parties dictates.

      • trustintheLORDwithallyourheart

Yes, being able to trust in the Lord goes without saying

I knew I’d be in the minority with my comment, and I fully expected to be beaten up. However, don’t you think this primary would be an entirely different beast if Sarah had chosen to go out and campaign for either Newt or Rick (or whoever she chose) after she declared she wasn’t running? That would have given them a huge advantage over Romney.

I honestly hate to feel this way, but I feel like Sarah is playing cat and mouse games, and being very coy and opportunistic (doing things to advance or benefit herself). So far, how have her supporters benefited from anything she has done after the 2008 election? Talk is cheap. I thought she was supposed to be a king-maker.

        • trustintheLORDwithallyourheart

I forgot to add (though I’m pretty sure nobody wants to hear it), when Herman Cain and Rick Perry dropped out, they endorsed someone (Newt), and I believe they have also been going to certain events to show their support for him. In my book, that shows character.

          • She is more like an evangelist only for the conservative cause-she likes to get dressed up and go up on stage or in front of a camera or wherever and “call it as she sees it”, get payed for saying the “right” things but that’s about it…the real work, the real commitment is when you are actually in an office and have to do the day to day things that come with the job! She has made it clear she doesn’t want that! Accept it and you might not be so disappointed in her.

            • nibblesyble

Cheryl I don’t mean to be harsh here, but you sound like a more polite version of a liberal hack. You have no right to sit in judgment on what Sarah will do or not do for money because that is Capitalism. What you posted more and more confirms that Romeny supporers truly despise Sarah and conservatism, speaks a lot of who Romney truly is doesn’t it?

              • I really don’t know what you mean-Palin can do whatever she wants to make money that is not my concern. I am just responding to the constant cries of wanting her to run-she has said as much with her OWN WORDS she doesn’t need a title to be an influence and she is correct. I thought my analogy was good-really people like Hannity, Limbaugh, Levin, Beck etc are the same-this isn’t negative it is just that they have center stage with their mouth-people like it and they get to espouse their views- and get paid quite a bit for it-if people didn’t like them they would be gone! I don’t begrudge them this-perhaps I should have said televangelist-that is what I meant!

                • nibblesyble

I am sorry if I misunderstood you, it looked like you were beind snarky, like Sarah will only do things that are for money not for what she truly believes in. Which she can do both.

    • bcompson

The GOP establishment didn’t want her, made it clear they would destroy her if she tried to run, and the media did the same. Where were you to defend her? How dare you judge her for her decision? And why should she throw her support behind these loser candidates? They are all equally awful. She has said she’ll support whoever the nominee is. That’s enough. Maybe you should walk a day in her shoes and then come and complain. People screamed at her “DON’T YOU DARE RUN!!!” and then people yell at her “HOW DARE YOU NOT RUN???!!” Here’s my answer to both sets of people: Shut up and leave her alone.

    • idesign2

      You sound like John Ziegler…LOL

    • 3seven77

Trust, I have to agree with your view that Sarah should have endorsed someone. The race would be a whole lot different if she’d have campaigned with and for Newt. I daresay we wouldn’t have Willard as the “presumptive” nominee.

    • nibblesyble

I heard that she could not come right out and endorse because of her contract with Fox, but was able to show support for Newt in other ways. I think we have to be careful putting all of our hope on any political figure(and I love Sarah) because they are human and they will always let us down in some ways. We expect too much and put them on a pedestal and then are so hurt when they fall off. She is the most honest of them out there and I will always her give cudos for going through the hell she went through and still is unafraid to go into the Lion’s Den again and again!

    • DocBarry1

I am not sure that we or anyone has all of the facts on why she didn’t get in – I believe her when she said that one or more of her family did not want her to run this time, I also have read that the Republican establishment made it clear that they would not support her and I believe strongly that she knew that the Republicans would not step up and defend her against the trash of a book and movie Game Change – but I believe if her family would have been all aboard she still would have run!Remember, we learned that she had strategy meetings prior to the final decision so I do believe that she did not string us along at all

  • Josie

Good interview. Who ever the nominee is they would have to be crazy not to ask Palin to run as VP. They would get my vote with no question.

  • Wow Sarah Palin looked great and stunning in this interview. I wish she could be my president in 2013!

    • virginiagentleman1

Are you 100% sure she won’t be Steven? Anything is possible my friend.

  • bmark

This country’s economy is improving just slightly in spite of obama and that needs to be spoken and it can be shown by his failed green jobs and stimulas record as well as foreign policy travisty’s. This need’s to be shouted every time were able to get chance to speak.

    • Most people have the attention span of a gnat. They need to be reminded of all the “promised” jobs (those “shovel ready” ones), the jobs lost (the offshore oil jobs that have now moved overseas-offshore, Solyndra & others) & how 0’s NLRB tried to obstruct 3000 Boeing jobs in South Carolina. 0 doesn’t *want* people working. He wants us on food stamps & govt “assistance”. There’s more proof in that he put 0Care *ahead* of jobs. (Did I say that? I didn’t mean to imply that he’s in favor of job creation. He *still* isn’t getting govt out of the way. He’s *still* making it harder.)

  • Fireplug52

Matt does not like being considered part of the Lame Stream Media. The double standard was quite evident in this interview by the tone of the questions presented to Sarah Palin. It appears that they cannot show the same ability when interviewing their anointed one and savior. I give this one four barfs out of five into the barf bucket with qualification.

  • SaraPFan

Matt is a wus for his last line. The reason Palin said she’s “infiltrating turf” is because she’s infringing on the the LSM territory w/ conservative and independent princples. He obviously still didn’t get it even after she asked him yesterday “what do you think it meant?”

  • publius1969

well, matt lauer is not exactly an IQ curve buster. I’d hazard to say he is slightly below the mean…not much of a match, matt “plugs” lauer is out of his league.

  • ConnieConservative

    Wow! What great posts.
Thank you TRS for the clip.
    Sarah looked and sounded amazing.
I wish she were running. She is inspiring..
A beautiful woman, inside & out.
Stopped watching TODAY years ago. Too liberal.

  • Funny on the same day I heard on TMZ that Levi Johnson got a 20 year old teacher pregnant in Alaska

  • 3seven77

Man, I really wish she could have hauled off and belted that smug prick. Just once I want to see Sarah deck one of these condescending bastards. A girl can dream, can’t she?

  • cudaforever

Thanks Scoop !! I wouldn’t watch the Today show if you paid me.. UNLESS, Sarah Palin was on 🙂 I watched today and will not tune in again UNLESS Sarah is back on !!

  • Stoneyjack

Can’t stand snide, smarmy, supercilious, sickening Matt Lauer; but Gov. Sarah Palin is gorgeous & gracious, as always.

  • PVG
  • Dan

my Lord what a class act…Sarah you are the real leader the country needs…the rest are just also ran……..

  • PAWatcher

Wis., Maryland, and DC are all blue liberal, of course romney may do well in these, but what about the other states, there are some big delegate states yet to come. It ain’t over yet. If Santorum does a good showing he’s really ahead of romney- Santorum will get the conservatives, the important votes in the general.

  • PAWatcher

Sarah is not part of the LSM, matt…………she’s just on your turf for awhile, show you up, and leave you in the dust of your lamestream job.

  • Cindy09

What a wonderful woman!!!! She makes sense by using simple words but she aims incredibly well every time!!

  • R

Thank you for posting, and she is Attractive!!!

  • Conservative_Hippie

My hope is that Romney does not get enough delegates by the convention and Sarah wows the crowd and gets the endorsement! I can dream! And pray!

  • TruLevinian

I want to respond, but I’m being distracted by something to the right of the screen here… Its the “Join Michele and Tell Barack You’re In” banner. How compelling!

  • narciso

    Like Katniss at the Capitol,

  • All those about MSM, what country do you think you live in? It’s a free country and freedom of speech. If the media (run by people) ask a tough question, and you answer with the tone, love or leave it, guess what? They are going to leave it. Yeah, we don’t like the so called “conservative” message because we disagree with it. You guys want to white wash over everything. Sad ignoramuses you all are!
