Andrew Breitbart decided to go to Occupy Los Angeles to ask questions of the protesters and before you know it he had an SEIU thug instructed to follow him around everywhere he went and try to keep people from answering questions. One of Andrew’s questions they were trying to keep people from answering was simply “Capitalism: Thumbs Up Or Thumbs Down?”. You can guess how man thumbs up he got:

I know right! Its actually a very sad situation, these people are upset with the bailouts, but socialism is the biggest bailout there is!!! Fox News and the GOP need to enlighten these people about their solution to the bailout problem instead of make them all out to be hoodlums. These people obviously do not understand socialism, if they researched it by looking at socialist countries or countries that once installed socialism, they would understand that it DOES NOT WORK.

Fox news is moving to the left. I watch GBTV and come here and to other online sources. I hope that more conservatives start internet stations. It is the wave of the future and we need to ride it. We need to beat the liberals at their own game when it comes to media and entertainment.

        • Anonymous

I agree with you exactly. I also watch/ subscribe to GBTV and get my news online. Fox is going to the left I believe to appeal to an even larger audience. People are so mistaken when they say they are entirely political. They are a business first and that is the king not ideology. They are already twice as large as their nearest competitor but they are out numbered. They will get even bigger. The web like GBTV uncensored is the wave of the future and it is taking off…big time. The web is seen as the last bastion of free speech. I hope it stays that way.

SEIU = “useful idiots”. If they manage to bring Capitalism down, SEIU members will lose their jobs, pensions, homes and freedom, too.

    • Anonymous

They’re modern day brownshirts… They don’t realize what they’re doing and with out the SEIU most of them would be unemployable.

      • Anonymous

I have run into these SEIU guys at townhalls. Our pathetic union-owned US Rep. plants his town halls with them, and keeps a few wandering around outside. to try and scare off the tea party. Not very effective.

What was he in prison for? “Robbery. Because he was poor.” She thinks her friend’s crime spree was justified because “he was poor”. I have news for you bonehead. There are millions of poor people who don’t rob or steal. He probably stole to support his drug habit.

Like I said yesterday, what a bunch of worthless tools.

Nobody has to steal because they’re poor.

My guess is that the cholo was ordered to harass Breitbart because of SEIU’s history with AB , specially because he has been exposing the Kenneth Gladney beating by Obama’s thugs, and also because Obama’s thugs pelted eggs and threatened to kill Breitbart during the TEA party event in NV.
AB has been a real thorn on Obama’s side

It is very very sad. These people are upset because of the bailouts and they should be but socialism is the highest level of bailouts possible. So so so sad.

Hey remember all those Democrats who had to be dragged kicking and screaming to force them to vote on the bailouts ? Remember how the Dems and O’Hussein opposed those bailouts to big banks and big investment firms waaaaayyy back then? They were shouting their lungs out against the bailouts, but no one would listen to them and they were all forced to vote in favor of those bailouts with guns pointed at them . Even today, the dems are soooooo ashamed of those bailouts.

If you want to defeat socialism, marxism and communism, then you need to defeat their shared moral premise, which is that “you are your brother’s keeper”. If you think about it, you’ll realise that this moral premise is behind EVERYTHING that the left advocates, whether it be social security, medicare, medicaid, etc.

Stand up to the left’s morality (of altruism) by declaring that “every man is an end in himself, not a means to the ends of others”. Stand up for your “selfish rights” to pursue your own happiness, as the founders intended.

“Robbery. Because he was poor.” Id like to punch this ignorant B*^%$ in the face. And, shows what kind of person she is, having a best friend whose a freaking thief! How would she feel if someone robbed her, got caught, and told her to forgive him, hes poor? Really? Because Id want your ass in jail and paying for the crime. If you cant do the time, then dont do the crime. That simple. And these professors that are at the colleges encouraging these students and people should be ashamed of themselves. they must know themselves being the educated inspirations they are supposed to be, that socialism DOESNT work. Even freaking China has gone Capitalist. LONG LIVE Capitalism. I love my new couch and possible new kitchen cabinets. It is not societys fault that you, you poor person you, didnt get an education, didnt take advantage of the opportunities in front of you. Didnt commit to hard WORK. No, the real story is all you pukes want everyone to share what they worked hard for. And to you I say HELL NO! Starve. No one in my house eats for free with attitudes like that. If you arent willing to work for what you need, than see ya. This is the true problem. A young group who want what mommy and daddy worked hard for but they want it NOW. Stupid F*&^’S!! I hope they all get pepper sprayed and hog tied. or better yet, beaten by the racially diverse groups who dont give a shit about your Koom-by-ya B.S, they just want your earrings and purse stupid white B*&^%!

A lot of these protesters are not “poor” – they’re college students, living off Mom and Dad, or government grants and loans, or they’re college graduates (with Masters’ degrees, like the woman whose best friend is
in prison for robbing someone) who’ve received a less than stellar education at the hands of our liberal institutions of higher learning.

I agree! The truth however, though the lamestream media will never say this, is that the people with these political view are in the definite minority!

  • Publius Poplicola

“America’s abundance was created not by public sacrifices to “the common good,” but by the productive genius of free meen who pursued their own personal interests and the making of their own private fortunes. They did not starve the people to pay for America’s industrialization. They gave the people better jobs, higher wages and cheaper goods with every new machine they invented, with every scientific discovery or technologcial advance—and this the whole country was moving forward and profiting, not suffering, every step of the way.” —Ayn Rand

I’ve come to the conclusion that more and more Americans of humble socio-economic backgrounds are accepting the proliferation of collectivist ideas that have appeared in academia, media and in our cultural institutions because conservatives have failed to morally justify the existence of the man or woman who works only for him or her self.

Our morality leaves no room for the individual who lives to achieve his or her own happiness. There is an intellectual void when it comes to explaining why self-interest, profit for example, is not inherently immoral.

In the current morality, an industrialist and a thief are equally immoral because they both act out of self-interest. The person who gives up his or her own dreams and desires for the sake of others is considered morally superior. This pandora’s box is the cause of the decline of the American way of life.

There should not be a moral judgement on an action that is made out of selfish self-interest. There should be a moral judgement on how one pursues that self-interest.
There is a fundamental moral difference between the industrialist who pursues self-interest in production and the thief who pursues self-interest through robbery.

The imprisoned man mentioned in this video isn’t in jail because he wanted to escape from his poverty; he is there because of the way he chose to escape poverty. Robbery.

These ragtag protestors look almost as bad as the great unwashed mass of the 1968 demonstrators. They also use nice vulgar language just like all Libtards. I see now in today’s news that the cities where they are demonstrating are having real problems with ‘sanitary conditions’. Of course they are; these people pollute the air. We’d better thank Andrew Breitbart for videos such as this, because otherwise we’d never be informed of them by the lamestream media!

These people oppose capitalism when they’ve probably never actually been involved in a capitalistic venture. Most probably went from free public high school straight to college on some kind of government grant (which are handed out pretty much to anybody nowadays) and probably didn’t have parents that pushed them out of the nest to make their own way, buy their own cell phone plan, pay for rent or other basic essentials. They’re so used to mooching – they think capitalism has failed them, when they in reality they’re not satisfied with the level of free handouts they’re receiving.

How in the world are these people affording to eat? I doubt they’re drawing from robust savings accounts they’ve toiled for in the past several years. Someone ELSE is supporting them even now since they’re obviously not working.

That woman at the end seems to believe that her friend was justified in committing robbery because he was poor. I also like how she mentions two professors who guided her towards socialism but then says no not my academic background. But at least she was willing to give some answers without yelling and being irate. I wish he would have gotten more into why she was a socialist and why she believed that to be the better practice. Also I would have liked her to have been asked what country she believes is better off than ours due to socialism. Give me the name of a country that has a true socialist government and give me the reasons why they are better off that us.

I would have also liked to have seen why the people that gave capitalism a thumbs down did so. Boo capitalism!! You know its what built this country right? People also like to link the bailouts to the banks and auto industry as if it were the corporations fault. Why don’t they go to congress and the government and protest the bailouts?? Why aren’t they saying “Let the free market work!” if they don’t want bailouts. I don’t like the bailouts those companies should have been left to fail if they were going to. Another company would have taken their place. It would have created space in the free market for someone else to stand-up, expand and dun dun dun…hire more people.

Socialists don’t understand how the economy works they just think in terms of niceness and the never ending ‘fairness’. Life’s not fair. Ever heard that saying before? Again I would like to ask those ‘Socialists’ for some donations, would they give?

Socialism is for the people, not the Socialist.

  • Anonymous

Did that first woman say he was inciting/spreading violence because he was wearing red?

The socialist says “you can’t actually give a capitalist a message” that maybe because in a socialist society you are told and not asked. In a capitalist society you have the ability to disagree and go your own way.

    Two comments:

1 – While I respect the protesters exercising their 1st amendment rights, the direction of their protests are 180 degrees out of phase. Their anger and frustration should be directed at Washington and not Wall Street, L.A., etc.

2 – Organizations like the SEIU see the writing on the wall in that the “gravy train” is coming to an end. Obviously they’re angry, they’re scared, and they know it. So they’re acting like an entity that is being soundly defeated and throwing everything they can at it. Arguably using the same tactics that they are using would speak out against if it was done to them. Completely hypocritical.

    Two more points:

Are the big corporations part of the problem? In my opinion, absolutely! However, they are only doing what they have to. They, more than anyone in “Occupy Wall Street” or any of those organizations, understand that more and more the government is taking control of the economy (has been for many years for that matter). So they do what they have to which is get in bed with big government to “rig the game” in their favor. I’m not saying that I approve or agree with this but I believe that this is what’s going on. To draw an analogy, the pigs only come to the trough to feed if there’s food there.

If anybody at “Occupy Wall Street” doesn’t understand that power and control is just another type of greed then they are even more naive then most believe they are. The politicians (mostly democrat) in Washington, DC are the most greedy people I’ve ever seen. They just want more power and more control (again, just another form of greed) so that there are more and more of us dependent on them for our lives and livelihood. If anybody doesn’t believe that this goes on everyday, then I want to talk to you in private. Have I’ve got a deal for you on 1,000 acres of land in South Florida that you’re just gonna love!
