Sen. Rob Portman now supports gay marriage

Sen. Rob Portman says his son has recently come out of the closet and that because of that he has had a change of heart and now fully supports homosexuality and gay marriage. Here’s a couple of short clips from CNN:

So I guess what God says on the issue doesn’t matter anymore? I understand that Portman loves his son and he should, and he should support his son in many ways. But God still views homosexuality as a sin and so should he. Just because he has such a personal experience with it doesn’t change the reality that it’s a sinful act in the eyes of God.

Ah well, I never really liked Portman all that much anyway. Glad he’s not my Senator.
