By Dan Cleary

Check your brain at the door, it’s time for some more mindless political commentary courtesy of the “Reverend” Al Sharpton. Sharpton obviously thought he was being cute here, using child actors to mock Mitt Romney and the other GOP presidential candidates in the wake of Santorum’s endorsement of Romney.

I’m just wondering: Did MSNBC do anything like this in 2008 after Hillary and the rest of the Democrat candidates buried the hatchet with Obama after their bitter primary battle? Uh, no. It was up to McCain to do his own dirty work via actual campaign ads – and he didn’t have to resort to using child actors to make his point.

So the kid accuses Obamacare of being Mitt’s idea.. as tho it’s a bad thing.. (it is, but, I didn’t think they’d ever admit it).. yet, in this ad, that’s exactly what they’re doing. These kids don’t even know what half the things they’re talking about even means.. I guess they couldn’t find enough ADULTS foolish enough to go along with Sharpton.

    • keyesforpres

I was thinking the same thing, that they presented the Obamacare being Mitt’s idea as a bad thing. It is, as you say, but they are too obtuse to grasp they just insulted themselves.

  • 4Hoppes2

At least Sharpton has an audience closely approximating his own mental state. That link to McCains old campaign was cruel of you Mr. Cleary.

‘he has cooties, he’s a poopy pants’….good to see that Mr. NotSo Sharpton has finally found his niche in the media market, he so obviously was way above his pay grade trying to engage in adult discourse…resist we much

Pooping the pants has become a liberal epidemic. So, of course, that is at the forefront of their simple minds. I just hope they are using biodegradable diapers ;-)

Is it just me or is Al Sharpton’s head as big as one of those players on the video game “NBA Jam.”

I guess that’s what a bunch of hot air will get you. (That and Obama-like ears)

    “BOOM-SHAKALAKA!”

Sharpton is so much slimmer than in years past. Did he have his stomach stapled? If so, I wish he would have gone for the blue plate special of stomach and mouth.

    • williamm

Here’s an old video where he was much heavier.

  • Susitna

I don’t think that it is right to misuse children for a political campaign that they don’t understand. It is quite grotesque and someone should file a complain to the corresponding authorities. The kids looked to me faked and like they were forced for several hours to play a role they didn’t want to. I would investigate who was paid and how much and how long the kids were “forced to work”. It reminds me to the Hitler Jugend.
And as for Al Sharpton he is the usual garbage with his Marilyn Monroe hairstyle.

  • Susitna

Al Sharpton should use Pampers Boy around his head as there is coming so much sh.. out of his mouth…….

  • Sober_Thinking

Sharpton IS a child. Maybe he was hoping to find some new kids to play with after he got beat up and his lunch money stolen…

  • Josh

Still wondering how Romney is going to defend himself in a serious debate… when half of the things the kids said were… gulp… true…

  • hongryhawg

Now that’s reaching. Sharpton’s headshot looks like what I flushed down the toilet this morning.

Some one should check the child labor laws. I don’t think those where actors but were the MSNBC research staff and writers.
