Shep Smith says today is the “national day of intolerance”

Shep Smith apparently isn’t too fond of Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day, labeling it the “national day of intolerance”. Yeah I’m guessing he didn’t eat any of the chicken that BillO said Huckabee had shipped into Fox News today (h/t: PJ Media):

    What an intolerant jerk.

    • Rightstuff1

Someone explain to me why if I don’t like/believe in something the Left espouses I’m labelled intolerant but if the Left don’t like what I believe then they are enlightened they are “progressive” and “loving” and “welcoming”?

Let’s chant some of those beautiful loving tolerant Leftist cliches shall we? 1,2, 3 … “Keep your rosaries off my ovaries” or there is this one “Eat the rich” and of course the not to be “left” behind (pun intended, search for it), the filthy unwashed, defecating on police cars, smashing shop windows, fighting with police, wrecking the environment and oh little things such as raping in public OWS crowd “show me what democracy looks like ! This is what democracy looks like!”. But the golden nugget, th inestimable little beauty for Leftist verbal diarrhea mus be “Speak truth to power”…….

Aren’t the Left a bunch of unctuous self-righteous, pompous, vanity-queens? Total blowhards? I mean seriously! They screw everything up in ways that can only they know how and after ungodly screw ups they say no wait, wait, here’s the answer lets try…..this !!!!! And away we go again with another “experiment” that will wreck our society just a little more.

God this makes me so sick. The Left make me sick and they are everywhere.

  • PAWatcher

Sooo tired of the intolerant preaching tolerance to US!

  • Donya G

I have nothing good to say about Shepperd Smith and better for me to keep my mouth shut. I quit watching his show since the Katrina incedence.

    • CNN’s 7pm slot is way better than Fox News 7pm slot.

      • That slot at 7PM is usually when I watch my RedEye DVR’d from the night before. Great replacement!

      • NY59Giants

Switch over to Lou Dobbs on Fox Business.

      • cnn and msnbc are headed over the cliff and soon we hope and the liberals do not speak the truth, they are the liars and haters in my way of thinking

  • Linky1

Shep Smith doesn’t deserve this attention.

  • Who watches his show????? Really, who watches it?? The guy is one big mouth. I didn’t like him even before I knew he was a lefty. The man is obnoxious. Does anyone know his ratings??… because they have to truly suck. Frankly, Fox in general is a disappointment. I go to the internet for news these days.

    • donmoffet

I don’t care for him either and I certainly don’t watch his show but It’s my belief he is the highest paid anchor on Fox…it seems I read that someplace.

    • aintthispeachy

I agree,… they have over the past few years adopted the O’Really formula. They pretend to be concerned about all sides of an issue, which isn’t bad until you take up for ridiculous stuff to gain lefty viewership. Which is stupid in itself because the left hates Fox as much as they hate G W Bush.

  • Pyrran

Shepperd Smith is one of the big reasons I quit watching Fox.
Sorry, as long as he is on, Fox is off.
    Case closed.

  • Arrrggghhh

Seriously? Supporting an individual’s right to have a personal opinion is intolerant? When people come out with jackassian statements such as Sheppy just did, it makes it impossible for me to watch them and take them seriously. Shep needs to start floating his resume to MSNBC and CNN.

    • proudhispanicconservative

He probably is already, and it might mean hes pitching himself to them, I hope msnbc hires him and get him out of fox.

      • excellent point. perhaps he figures brainless snipes like that will endear him to obama lapdogs.

    • AAAMEN,AAAMEN,AAMEN,AMEN,AMEN.May be should join his buddy anderson at cnn.

  • Rshill7

He doesn’t look so gay to me. Were he smiling real big, his gaiety would glimmer…wouldn’t it?

    • poljunkie

When I was growing up in the 60’s I had a friend named Gay. Seriously. Times have changed, and she is probably about 53, 54 now. I often wonder if she had to change her name due to the circumstances way way beyond her control.

      • Army_Pilot1967

I have a wonderful Army buddy whose last name is Gay. He’s a great family man and a true patriot. He had two sons and when they were young their friends would say, “Here come the Gay boys” and laugh. That would have gotten old in a hurry!

        • poljunkie

Oh no. Poor kids. But Im sure they learned to laugh about it.

Her name was Gay Young. I still remember – on a side note, she used QT remember that stuff? If you’re old enough? QT was short for Quick Tan? She was always an orange color. But it looked strangley good. Even back in the 60’s she was legend before her time!!!

          • Army_Pilot1967

The boys were teenagers when I knew them and they hadn’t gotten to the point of laughing about being called the “Gay boys!” They might have gotten over it much later, but not when I knew them.

I’m old enough to know what QT was, but I grew up in Florida and either the QT distributors didn’t think it would sell there, or I just never paid any attention to it.

    • You’re making me smile right now to mybear. 😀

  • cheezwhizz

Shep is right, I too am sick of all this intolerance aimed at heterosexuals and Christians

    • sDee

my thoughts exactly. I grow more and more intolerant every day, am not shy about saying it.

Only a fool would take anymore of this crap.

    • flybyme

Ah… Shep was dishing conservatives… hello!

  • Nukeman60

When MSNBC says Fox news journalists are biased, they point at the opinion shows (such as O’Reilly, Hannity, and when he was there, Beck). I don’t hear them say anything about Shepard Smith, as he is left leaning and not an opinion show.

I wonder if he not only leans left, but also leans toward the likes of Anderson Cooper, as his opinions of gay issues always rear their ugly little head in that direction.

    • proudhispanicconservative

Hannity and Oreilly are commentary shows they are not news, thats why i take offense to what shep said, nobody cares about his positions on issues, he is there to deliver the news thats what he gets paid for, plain and simple.

  • detectivedick

    Two comments,
I do not watch nor respect Smith.
I was overwhelmed at the turn out at the local Chic-fil-A.
Why in the USA do we cater to all the special nutcases and bloodsuckers. You know who they are, they have climbed out of the sewers, infiltrated Governmental Service, they want to take your hard earned wealth and now they are inside the gate, the press, the schools, the military etc. We allowed this slow ptocess of transformation the USA from a Nation of Liberty to a Nation of “special takers” by not standing up because we may hurt someone’s feelings. There is no other continent to move to for Liberty, we have one last chance to get out and vote all the two faced smooth talking emptysuits out of office.
Get out and volunteer to be a pole watcher in Nov., talk to your family and friends, put on a don’t tread on me bumper sticker, display a Romney bumper sticker.
    Thanks for the rant time.
“special” elected officials out of office.

    • YAY! Great rant!

    • badbadlibs

I’ve had my get rid of bo bumper sticker on since he was elected. Great post!
I heard that there was one Chic-fil-A in Georgia that had to close their doors for running out of food.
Wish there was a store near me, we would be eating all week off their menu.

      • Army_Pilot1967

I live in GA and the one closest to my house (.5 mile) ran out of all kinds of food items, which is actually a good thing because it shows tremendous support for Chik-Fil-A and for Truett Cathy.

  • Looks like again, it’s only the libs who are the intolerant ones. What’s the matter shep? Are your wittle feewings hurt because people actually have a different opinion than you do? That people actually sometimes speak up about their opinions when asked? That people actually show support for folks who have the same views that they do?
Looks like the folks who went out of their way to show support to a private owned company are the tolerant ones… we’re the ones who tolerate freedom of speech. You know, something that IS actually in the Constitution?
You people amaze me with your hipocrisy. Really.

    • p m

Agree. Sneering hypocrisy – that’s how he comes across. In other words, a typical lib.

      • Maybe some day Canada will get a Chick Fil A, and we’ll get a Swiss Chalet…. man I used to LOVE going there! My mom and dad used to take us there for dinner all the time. Sigh…. 🙂 Do you guys have popeye’s up there yet? If you do, maybe Chick Fil A will be next?

        • p m

Just in Ontario, it looks like. Y’know, the centre of the world for Torontonians! Let’s hope CF made a ton today and that new franchise owners are lining up, up here as well as down there.
From Vancouver, the nearest CF is in Boise – 458 miles away.
A trifle far for a quick dinner.

  • Jim Botts

Is this smith’s way of coming out of the closet?

    • proudhispanicconservative

      Probably another anderson cooper.

  • I doesn’t bother me in the slightest for this guy to express his opinion. However, his slander is annoying. There’s a reason he’s named after a Stooge.

  • sjmom

It’s okay for 3 mayors to be intolerant?

I was at Chick Fil A today and the building was full and I was in a drive thru line that stretched all the way around the building. It did my heart good to see so many supporting the company as they speak out their faith. I am hoping this will lead other companies to the same.

It was sad for my mom though because by the time I got to the restaurant they were out of cole slaw one of her favorite sides. Oh well, guess I have to support them again especially since their nuggets are so good. LOL

  • 3seven77

From Twitter: “The leftist boycott of Chick-Fil-A is the first actual economic stimulus of the Obama era.”

And three terrific links for you regarding Chick-Fil-A (you will LOVE these!):
Be sure to read the comments.

Gateway Pundit has other stories as well. Makes me smile to see the “Thought Nazis” on the Left eat crow (instead of chicken).

    • Oh, man those were GREAT! Made me cry a little, knowing how huge this was for not just the Cathy’s for their faith, but for all those who work at Chick Fil A’s all over. If anyone who worked there wondered before how someone can stick to their Christian values even when unpopular and come through- they learned today! God Bless these folks!!! I had a supreme with pepper jack and it was awesome lol!

PS- thanks for sharing those 3seven77. I needed that! 🙂

    • sDee

glad I read the comments – this one goes to Shep Smith:

The President of the Coalition of African-American Pastors says supporters of traditional marriage are facing the same discrimination that blacks faced during the civil rights movement.

“Some people are saying because of the position that Chick-fil-A has taken – they don’t want them in their cities,” Rev. William Owens said at the National Press Club on Tuesday.
“It’s a disgrace. It’s the same thing that happened when I was marching for civil rights, when they didn’t want a black to come into their restaurant, they didn’t want us staying in their hotels. Now they’re saying, because we take a Christian position, they don’t want us in their cities.”

Owens continued, “Well, we won’t take it. We will stand up and they will learn, they will learn that they can’t do that to any people, by destroying religion, by destroying the family, we will stand up.”

    • I’m double-pasting this one from the “Intolerant lefty” thread, co’z it’s funny:

      From IowaHawk’s tweeter thingy:

Does Chick-fil-A oppose marriage between Five Guys?
If the Chick fil-A guy is the religious fundamentalist, why do his opponents seem like the ayatollahs?
I wish lefties would tell me who they are going to boycott next, so I can send buy orders to my stockbroker. #insidertrading
I support a woman’s right to choose a chicken restaurant.

      • NoToTyrants

I support a woman’s right to choose a chicken restaurant.

Hysterical. Iowahawk is a comedic genius.

    • p m

My favourite from a UM commenter:

“A nicely dressed young man (Chick-fil-A employee) stood next to the drive-thru lane handing out voting registration forms. He asked, “Are you all set to vote this election?” and I gave him a thumbs up.
So, the lefties lost twice today–they signed up lots of conservatives to vote, and they blessed a conservative business with an overload of customers!”

      Well done indeed!

  • williamm

St. Petersburg Times, published November 18, 2000

Capitol Police on Friday arrested Fox News Channel anchor Shepard Smith, one of hundreds of journalists in town to cover the election drama, after police said Smith struck another reporter with his car during an argument over a parking space.

The reporter, Maureen Walsh of Tallahassee, is a freelance journalist who works for Bay News 9, a cable news channel based in Pinellas Park.

By day’s end, Walsh was released from Tallahassee Memorial Hospital with bruises on her knees and legs, police said. Smith, 36, was charged with aggravated battery with a motor vehicle, a felony, and was released on $10,000 bail from the Leon County Jail.

According to the Tallahassee Democrat, on July 20, 2001, the charge “was reduced to misdemeanor battery” and dismissed after an out-of-court settlement in June 2001.

    • Nice to see the kinds of dregs FOX news hires.

    • proudhispanicconservative

Interesting did not know that, i hope everyone gets outraged by this as I am, he should apologize.

    • mitchbrain1

      The FOX All-Stars:

Bill O’Reilly – charged with sexual harasssment by a female staffer at FOX – settled out-of-court with a multi-million dollar payment to the plaintiff

Dick Morris – resigned as Bill Clinton’s top political adviser after getting caught in a Washington DC hotel with a prostitute

Geraldo Rivera – admitted user of heroin, LSD, cocaine, marijuana and other illegal drugs

Shep Smith – charged with aggravated battery with a motor vehicle

And the list goes on ……

    • tvlgds

I remember that from when it happened. I thought then “what a jerk.” I should have followed that instinct and stopped watching him then.

  • anyonebutbarry2012

another intolerant idiot. go away shep

  • Why is Shep so intolerant of heterosexuals and Capitalism? I have yet to see, read or hear any intolerance of homosexuals during this whole Chick-fil-A uproar. Does Shep hate the 1st Amendment? Is he gay? Really, what’s his deal?

    • FreeManWalking

      In answer to your questions.

I would have to say probably because he is a liberal homosexual communist.

He hates heterosexuals expressing their 1st amendment rights; he loves it when liberal homosexual communist are shoving their lifestyle down everyone’s throat.

AGAIN, I would have to say probably because he is a liberal homosexual communist.

  • I remember this idiot was also vocal on letting Terri Schiavo die, I can’t stand him.

  • proudhispanicconservative

What a jerk, isnt he supposed to give the news not a commentator?? everyone should write to fox, and have him apologize.

    • Oh, I don’t believe we should take it quite that far.

I should think firing him would be sufficient.

  • nibblesyble

ahhh shep, you come across so smug and so on the wrong side of this issue.

  • badbadlibs

Oh the irony…..the left just can’t seem to get a grasp on anything resembling reality.
Even if you spelled it out, drew pictures, had them do homework, had thier mommies sign the homework, they still wouldn’t get that they are being exactly what they accuse….oh, never the heck mind! Smith and others like him are just zombies…their brains fell out a long time ago.

  • TomGMS

Isn’t it ironic how the newsman constantly pointed at by the liberals as an example of unbiased reporting can’t help giving his opinion half the time? Then again his opinion favors the liberals, so maybe that’s why they love him.

  • with his propensity for gaffes i how shemp still has a job at fox. maybe they have a casting couch?

i guess the whole gay marriage thing struck a nerve with this bumbling idiot.

    • WordsFailMe

Well they brought back Shamu, the racist hog and card-carrying moron, remember “bow-tying white boy?”

I think she is only there for the color commenting she is famous for.

  • PicklePlants

I can’t shut his show off fast enough.

    • Don’t break your wrist! We need healthy voters in November.

  • Shep Smith is a liberal moron…

  • E. Lee Zimmerman

Shep Smith can go _____ himself. How’s that for my tolerance to idiocy?

  • MaxineCA

Well, we can all agree about Shep but it isn’t going to change anything unless we take some action. Is his program news or is it opinion? I haven’t watched either of his programs for awhile. He first ticked me off with his Katrina coverage by injecting his personal opinion into his news reporting, but he’s way off the charts since he got his own programs. Arrogant, to say the least.

How about we all send a message to Fox News to let them know how we feel. The only contacts I could find were from the News Corp website.

If anyone has a better contact please post the link.

    • tvlgds

Shep’s programs are supposed to be NEWS REPORTING, unlike the news ANALYSIS shows of O’Really, Hannity, etc. I was furious when Fox brought Greta over more than 10 yrs ago and wrote them a nastygram, but she’s the least biased of all of them. She really is fair and balanced. In her book from about that long ago she admits to being a liberal, but I’ve not seen it in her Fox reporting. I don’t know if she’s moved a little more right, or if she’s just that good at concealing her personal views. Hers is one of the very few Fox programs I’ll still watch if I happen to be near the tv in that time slot.

  • So tolerance is supposed to be an affirmation of moral decadence?

AWESOME! I guess I’m INTOLERANT! A badge I wear with HONOR!

  • WhiteGuy2

Man things in this country are as bad as ever when a bunch of fags start bullying all of America over a personal opinion.

I really dont care what they do in the bedroom, but dont come into my living room and tell me what to think. If there is one thing I cant stand is them intolorent marxist liberals who demand tolorence yet give none in return.

  • buzzkill59

To Shep”The Tool”Smith;STFU!All the days leading up to today were days of intolerance! We had politicians, actors, comedians, and moronic newscasters like yourself bashing an entire company and it’s employees as “hateful” because the owner was asked a question and expressed HIS beliefs as a Christian! You did this with NO evidence that the company has discriminated against gays in any way! You’ve had people picketing and calling workers there names. There was a bomb threat in one.A lot of you clowns have been on twitter saying hateful stuff! If you really want to see intolerance you should look in the mirror, then at your boyfriend!

  • opinionatedhermit

This may be only slightly related, but it does have a Tea Party vs. Rhino angle:

Has anyone else noticed that Drudge hasn’t even mentioned Ted Cruz’s win in Texas?

Is it there? Do I keep missing it?

  • Rocco11

Shep is as conservative as Rachel Maddow.

    • NoToTyrants

Here is something for you to ponder.

Put some thick frame “butch” glasses on Shemp and the resemblance is uncanny. They have the same haircut and wear the same make-up. Coincidence?

Have you ever seen the two of them together in the same room?

      • Rocco11

And throw Chris Hayes in there for good measure..

  • kong1967

I don’t get it. It is Rohm Emanuel that is being intolerant to the Chik-Fil-A owner’s views. The day is basically to promote tolerance, is it not? How is standing up against intolerance “intolerant”?

Are we sure Shep is not referring to Rohm Emanuel and is saying the day is about intolerance (from people like Rohm)?

  • NoToTyrants

I will let the following video be my comment:

  • Rocco11

Roger Ailes has more Leftists on the payroll than msnbc..

  • wodiej

What happened to just reporting the news? This entire situation is intolerance by those who want tolerance. It’s hypocrisy.

    • WordsFailMe

Liberals believe that “tolerance” is an absolute requirement. They confuse morality with law.

Any deviation from absolute tolerance of every lifestyle, hair-brained concept and human perversity, will not be tolerated.

  • tlskinne

Do you think Christians are above Atheists? Yes or No.
Do you think Heterosexuals are above Homosexuals? Yes or No.
Do you think Whites are above every other race? Yes or No.

If you answered yes to any of those questions, then you and me can be best friends. I love being superior in every way. Everyone show your support for how this country is going down because of these homos, non-believers, and blacks take over our country.

    • WordsFailMe

Not one of the factors you list is important in determining the worth of any man. If you live your life trying to figure out who is worthy and who is not based on the list above, you will miss much, my friend.

Now, let’s get back to the issues–Shep Smith is a cocktail party conservative, a crack baby, a snob and a moron.

  • He lives in “The Village” a ‘sophisticated’ area in NY… way out of touch!

  • Army_Pilot1967

Years ago when I was still watching television news show I thought ol’ Shep did a pretty good job, but then he let his guard down on his show and his true colors started showing through. And when that happened, I quit watching him since he was far too liberal for me, and I haven’t missed him one bit. Doesn’t look like he’s changed any over the intervening years, not that I really thought he would. Eat mor’ chikn, Shep. It would do you some good.

  • Philo Beddoe

    Hey Shep, nice eyeliner

  • M_J_S

This guy is a complete jackass. As soon as he comes on I turn the channel. Lets have a Shemp Smith “I won’t watch you” everyday “day”.

  • “National day of intolerance” and Shep Smith shows us all just how intolerant he really is.

Shep – Fascism doesn’t really suit you. It’s un-American. Period.

  • Shep needs to be fired.

  • dabbobean

Shemp is such a freak’n idiot…..I’m repulsed every time I hear his voice or see his face.

Why doesn’t he just come out of the closet already and move on to MSNBC where they’d appreciate his stupid snide remarks.

  • FreddieandReady

Hey Shep!!! Come out of the closet already!!!!!

  • brendawatkins

He says that even as he’s being intolerant of Chick-fil-a’s free thought, and speech.

  • Jaels_Song

Smith should have come out of the closet with Cooper.

I’m tired of Fox News discriminating against women. Fox News hires beautiful and intelligent women that the mens who watch Fox rightfully admire and adore. Meanwhile, we female Fox viewers are given this small, sickly, juandice looking heterophobe Shepherd. Fox News should replace Shep Smith with Michael Tobbin.

    • Sandra123456

Really. I am surprised that Cooper and Smith aren’t engaged.

      • stevenbiot

They are taking it one step at a time.

  • 911Infidel

Shemp Smith (yeah he’s a stooge) is a small turd that has no redeeming value whatsoever. Best way to handle his kind is to turn the TV off.

  • WestGAFlash

Shep is an acknowledged Twinkie. His position makes sense.

  • Sober_Thinking

This is the face of FNC’s “Fair & Balanced” news… “Shep” (rhymes with schlep) doesn’t have a clue. I’d like to go on and call him a bunch of names (which he’s earned)… but suffice it to say, having this twit on their network diminishes them and makes them look stupid. Alright, just one: Shep is a moron.

  • dk_in_tn

Shep should go back to Oxford and stay there. He is an Obama jerk–I never watch him. If he is on, I do chores or read a book.

  • 12grace

    Ephesians 6:12

    • I confess I had to look it up. A more fitting phrase does not exist. TY. For those, like me, that didn’t immediately know the quote: ” For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. “

  • MiketheMarine

Hey, Shep, intolerance is to boycott a business because own of the executives disagrees with a position you hold is called intolerance. Pin head, liberal schmuck who wears far to much rouge.

  • MiketheMarine

Me thinks shep might be a peter puffing, butt pirate.

    • stevenbiot

Haha! Ten bucks he has a pirate outfit and a parrot, or gerbil!

      • MiketheMarine

  • anneinarkansas

Shepard Smith is obnoxious….I never watch him or Geraldo.
He makes himself even worse with little comments that he must think are funny and are not.

  • tvlgds

I used to like Shep, years ago. His reporting wasn’t nearly as biased back then as it is now. Now he’s just obnoxious, for the most part. I’ve heard rumors that he’s gay, which would explain his attitude toward Chick Fil A.

    • stevenbiot

Yes, that would explain his little hissy fit.

  • TxGold

What an uplifting experience this has been!!! Remember, “We’re mad as he’11 and we’re not going to take this anymore”? Well that’s where we are right now in this country!!!

  • stevenbiot

I didn’t know Shep was so emotional. Maybe when his ratings improve, he will abandon the Debbie Downer attitude.

  • I am not fond of Shepard Smith. I think he displays a certain arrogance that is unappealing, in addition to an unearned sense of self-importance. But, as a 1st Amendment supportor, I will disagree with his comment vehemently, and support his right to voice it just as strongly.

I know you all do as well.

    twitter mike_anderson1

  • wmath44

I thought he was supposed to read the news, not subject us to his opinions.

  • Don

What any sane person would watch Shepard Smith over Lou Dobbs? Since they are on at the same time, it is strange that Smith is even on the air.

    • 20Chitowndemrevenuestream12

i also watch Dobbs instead, anyone else remember when shep said blowjob on the air in place of i think it was blowup

  • Michael Travis

We basically know where Shepard Smith is coming from. He’s a liberal Democrat who is likely “gay” and thus he sees the Chick-Fil-A ‘appreciation day’ as a slam against the homosexual community. Which again, he is likely a part of, and therefore, wants to defend. Shepard Smith obviously can’t see the forest for the trees. Since this is not about denigrating homosexuals, but instead, in standing up for the First Amendment right to FREE SPEECH and to be able to hold a particular stance on an issue without fear of retribution. In this case, ‘traditional marriage’ which Dan Cathy obviously believes that marriage should be between one man and one woman. This is the same position that the Holy Bible proclaims and that the institution of marriage itself constitutes throughout history.

Only until just recently has the overall miniscule population of homosexuals throughout the world seemed hell-bent on changing the definition of marriage to suit their own homosexual agenda. Which is to somehow change their “deviant” (unnatural) lifestyle into an acceptable way of life in the eyes of the world community – through the coronation of homosexual marriage – which they are hoping would then give their deviant (unnatural) lifestyle a form of legitimacy. Which apparently Shepard Smith agrees with or he wouldn’t have said what he said about the Chick-Fil-A appreciation day i.e. a “national day of intolerance.” Only the twisted mind of a progressive liberal could turn something of national significance – a First Amendment issue – into “demonizing” American citizens who hold the traditional view of marriage. Shepard Smith is the one who is intolerant and Fox News should fire him.

  • flyinroom

Mr. Shepperd Smith is the “voice of reason ” over there on that channel. Keep up the good work sir.

    • flybyme

He’s just another conservative hating liberal… it is totally sickening!

  • I think Shep’s gay!

    • flybyme

Shep IS gay… and he’s also a hypocrat. We get too many liberal news anchors bashing conservatives from all the other news outlets… sad that we have to put up this the same on FOX, by Shep! He needs to GO!

  • DocBarry1

Shep belongs at cnn and msnbc – he really is a weak link re news and he would fit in well at the other 2 stations – since what he says deserves a big viewership like cnn and msnbc.

  • Botzilla

OK Shep, we get it you’re gay…sheeez

  • wolfveryne

Chemp Smith ,, is such a Queer ,, Fox News should get rid of all Pud Pullers .

  • hosepipe

Shemp is a moron.. always has been and continues to be..
Comes on FOX just before O’Really.. who is marginally better..
Where some of the “spin stops” but not all of it..

  • we hate anyone who isnt like us….its what the us is all about….wonder how many sandwiches were free to show thanks for the support? zero………… suckers

  • B-Funk

You know, there are people saying bad things that align themselves with the right, but good Lord! This chick-fil-a thing is waaaaaay out of proportion. It’s the freedom of speech, and no one can tell chick-fil-a what they can and can’t say. It’s not even an issue (though I plan on giving them my money as a vote of support). This is all just a distraction from the real issue. Obama’s economy.

    • Haven’t watched Shep Smith for a while and glad others are catching on – WATCH FOX BUSINESS – more real and informative.

      • B-Funk

        Couldn’t agree more! ^_^

  • samazf

    He is a pompous a$$.

Man-up FOX: Respected Anchors don’t interject their personal opinions into the news. Shepard Smith has used his position to bully and voice his distain for conservatives on numerous occasions. We aren’t sheep… and it’s time to FIRE Shep!

  • My husband and I have stopped watching Mr. Smith. We believe that he’s the one who is intolerant. Chic fil a was about one thing. Freedom of belief and speech. That’s it. Nothing to do with gays. We love the 5 and all the other Fox shows, but sadly, no more of Mr. Smith

  • flybyme

  • Isn’t being intolerant of intolerance…”Intolerance”? How can they condemn people’s opinions and rights to support any business they choose? Because we make a choice that doesn’t line up with them…we are bigots? Are they tolerant? Does bigotry only go go one way. Looks like a double standard on a one way street. God bless America with liberty and justice for all!

  • He’s the media and he doesn’t want free speech…………………………..find another job, Shep

  • When is he coming out of the closet anyway?

  • flybyme

Man-up FOX: Respected Anchors don’t interject their personal opinions into the news. Shepard Smith routinely uses demeaning, sarcastic snipes to show his contempt for conservatives. We aren’t sheep… and it’s time to FIRE Shep!

  • BM

I guess, Shep is out of the closet and he does not like anyone who does not condone his values or agrees with him…

  • Hunt should go back to England and take smith(not capitalized for lack of respect)with him.

  • NO… Shep is entitled to his opinion. Practice what you preach!!! Is not the right to discern that started up the whole Chick-fil-A controversy?

  • Intolerance my butt! We are sick and tired of having this minorities’ sick and twisted agenda shoved in our face. They want to marry each other? Fine. They want to practice all sorts of freakish actis upon each other? Fine. Just don’t try and demand the rest of US accept and endorse it.

  • For once, this worthless leftist coward is right. This whole episode was about hatred, bigotry and shameful, un-American intolerance. All from people like him. Gays and their supporters just can’t help their ugly hatred they feel for anyone that opposes their mindset and agenda. They constantly show their bigotry against Christians and catholics. They are proud of their intolerance of anyone that does not toe their line.

  • Intolerance is when loony toon lib mayors are threatening to keep a restaurant out of their cities because someone spoke their mind. Smith probably thinks I’m intolerant because I execute my rights when his liberal face comes on the tube and I turn him off.

  • hbnolikeee

    Is Shlep Fox’s Anderson Cooper?

  • Mike Lee

What a dbag. People don’t like the government, liberals, or anyone else telling them what they can think or say or eat! Get it, Shep? It’s about FREEDOM.

  • Elvin46

I am a little taken back by Mr.Shepard Smith’s comment concerning “The Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day” As “A National Intolerance Day”. I mean the main issue besides the institution of marriage between one man and one women, was and is the first Amendment of freedom of speech this was at the heart of why the people came out in support of Chick-Fil-A or did Mr.Shepard Smith miss this fact? I have also been watching Fox News as well as Fox and Friends this morning and I have not heard one mention of Mr. Shepard Smith’s remarks concerning the above matter. I thought FOX was suppose to be fair and balance?

  • aintthispeachy

Oh he must have opened his mouth before they told him what to say.

  • it is wonderful that the liberals are the only people that have a say and can say anything about anything and anyone and you better accept it as the only thought you can have.

  • liberals are the only ones that can speak for everyone and what they say is supposed to be it,they need to have an operation to get their heads out of you know where so they can see where they are going.

  • I have always thought Shep was on the wrong station, he should be with his friends at CNN or MSNBC
