Special Report explains how Petraeus affair was uncovered by the FBI

Here’s a photo of Petraeus and his biographer Paula Broadwell, with whom he had the affair:

Special Report describes how the affair was uncovered by the FBI and also says that Congress is evaluating options as to whether they can call him as a private citizen:

One final note and perhaps the most important. Acting CIA director Mike Morell will testify in place of Petraeus next week on Benghazi. Yeah, that sounds kinda fishy:

Acting CIA director Mike Morell will take outgoing agency chief David Petraeus’s place during a key Senate intelligence hearing scheduled for next week, The Hill has learned.

Members of the Senate Intelligence Committee excused Petraeus from testifying on the Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. Consulate in Libya, hours after the former four-star general officially resigned as the nation’s top spy.

Morell, who was the agency’s No. 2 official, assumed the top spot at CIA after Petraeus stepped down from his post on Friday.

If he was the number 2 at the CIA, he should know nearly as much as Petraus right?

He didn’t jump off the ship, he was thrown overboard. He will lawyer up as a “private citizen” and plead the fifth in order to protect “ear leader”.
This sickening administration will destroy anyone in order to protect this fraud.

This is the current version of Nixon’s enemies list- except it is Obamas enemies list. We are on a fast decline into a banana republic. God help us. Is there even an election in 2016? Or does Obama rule over his subjects? Scary, scary stuff.

Scipture states that recovery from the sins of uncleanness (especially adultery), is extremely rare. Proverbs says that “none who go into her (an immoral woman) ever return or take hold of the paths of life. The word ‘none’ does not indicate ‘impossible’, but it does convey the idea of ‘a very few of many’. It’s especially difficult when the apostate church promises eternal bliss to those who defile another persons spouse. Adultery is the ‘acceptable’ sin in western society, albeit, most sexual immorality is for that matter. Without genuine repentance, the country has no chance to expect anything approaching the standard of the ‘golden rule’. Considering how long we have been on this path, it should cause no murmuring whatsoever if severe judgements are soon forthcoming.

    • 1970greenie

Let him without sin cast the first stone……

      • tshtsh

Is the ability to recognize evil and sin casting stones?

        • orthodoxyordeath

It’s not, but we shouldn’t rush to condemn the man. He’s only human, and as far as I know, this is the only blemish on his record. Lord knows I have more on mine.

        • 1970greenie

I have a hard enough time removing the sticks from my own eye to worry about whether I can recognize evil and sin in others.

          • And I recognize that you are an IDIOT!

      • Judefour

If their were sin in my thoughts or deeds, you would only prove that I am in the same condition as this whoremonger; (the broad road to eternal torment). Scripture states clearly that “…without holiness, no man will see the Lord.” If you are contending for the doctrine that states; ‘the best of saints sin in thought, word, or deed, on a daily basis’, then we are at an impass from the very outset. Many that say “Lord, Lord” at the great day of judgement, will be thrust into Hell for “working iniquity.” I am very familiar with Jesus words that you stated above, although isolated without their context; “go and sin NO MORE.” The statement means ‘henceforth no longer’ ‘not anymore’. There must then be a means by which a person does not have to sin again, or Jesus would not have used such language. “He that committeth sin is the servant of sin” (Jesus), “He that committeth sin is of the devil” (John the apostle). Sin and holiness are polar opposites, and the “exceeding great and precious promise” that Peter reveals is defined as that which enables the saints to “escape the corruption that is in the world through LUST.” Lust is ‘inordinate desire’, and is a violation if the 10th commandment, which essentially describes ‘covetousness’. Jesus says that a covetous person is an idolator, and we know that no such person (without true repentance) will inherit the Kingdom of the blessed Jesus. (Eph 5:1-6).

I hope this man finds true repentance. Once a person goes down the path of adultery, recovery in nearly impossible. Proverbs says that “none that go into her, return again..”. It doesn’t mean that it is literally impossible, but it does convey the idea that only a ‘very few of many’ actually do. Remember, “the mighty are slain by her”, (the immoral woman).

        • 1970greenie

WAIT WAIT>>>Are you saying that ther is NO SIN in your words or thoughts? REALLY!!! Subject: [trscoop] Re: Special Report explains how Petraeus affair was uncovered by the FBI

          • Judefour

Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

I simply stated an eternal truth; if I am not found in the condition described above by the blessed apostle, then I will certainly receive my just reward, that being eternal torment. Since God is perfectly impartial, and “respects no mans person”, then the same would apply to you, Mr Petraeus, and therefore ‘all mankind’ in general. Jesus commands can be mocked, but not undone.

            • 1970greenie

OK so you are without sin, so that would make you the third person ever, Mary, Jesus and now you. Cool. Subject: [trscoop] Re: Special Report explains how Petraeus affair was uncovered by the FBI

              • Judefour

Mary was not sinless from birth, and she referred to Jesus as her “savior”. No naturally generated person (born of the will of man & after the flesh) is sinless from birth, and I never suggested such an absurdity. I did affirm the words of God by citing the scripture in the previous reply. There are multitudes of others that clearly express the reality of holy living (in thought and deed). Handle the subject however you choose. You will stand before the judgement as certainly as all the rest of humanity. Eterity would therefore merit an intense degree of soberness and reverence, one would think.

                • 1970greenie

You know, arguing on the internet is like competeing in the special olympics. Go ahead, revel in your self righteousness. .

Subject: [trscoop] Re: Special Report explains how Petraeus affair was uncovered by the FBI

                • Judefour

“self righteousness” will land a person in Hell.

And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
                  (Php 3:9)

Mocking me doesn’t change the reality of scripture truth. The “exceeding great and precious promise” of the gospel is to recieve the “divine nature” that was in Christ Jesus. Whoever does not receive this promise has no scriptural hope of being where Jesus is. Even if your accusation were true, it would be no benefit to you at the judgment. I’ve heard the same charge many times friend. I only affirmed the truth as it is in Jesus, which is “after godliness.”

  • marketcomp

Wow! Is this typical to expose the women?! This is humiliating to his wife and family.

    • Orangeone

Yes it is. Remember under Islam, women have no rights and are subjects to men or may be killed.

      • That’s gonna leave a mark.

(Note to self: never do anything to get Orangeone mad at me.)

        • Orangeone

It would never happen K-Bob but trust me, you are not the first to say that.  And it’s so appropriate given my profession (which I don’t disclose because I might have to kill you if I did [LOL])

time to get off all blogs, Gov. is going to be knocking on doors. UN soldiers, FEME prisons, MARSHALL LAW, won’t be hearing “stand down” this time.

            • Orangeone

There are a lot more than 57m guns in this country.  If they want a war with us, I say bring it on.  It’s long past time.

      • marketcomp

But I don’t think were there yet, are we? This destroys his family and her, who I have less respect for, but it’s still humiliating.

        • Orangeone

But Barky Boy is. His only use for women was fear tactics, distraction and votes.

      • Cat

        • Orangeone

Be sure to lock and load and take some out when they try.  Don’t go without a fight.  Let them take the Dem women and their daughters first.  After all they voted for this to happen to themselves and their daughters.

  • MrMicawber

The House controls this investigation right? Why don’t they now DEMAND that Petraues testifies????

    • Orangeone

Apparently there are 2. Issa’s oversight committee and the Senate committee which Reid’s boys run (yes useless)

  • 911Infidel

Give him immunity and compel him to testify. Enough of the cover-up games.

    • MrMicawber

Exactly. Seems like a no brainer.

      • 911Infidel

I don’t know what O’Liar is worried about. There is no chance of an impeachment with Hairy Weed in charge of the Senate. Let the cat out of the bag and be done with it.

        • aposematic

The House votes on impeachment, the Senate would then be as a jury voting to convict or not. Slick Willie Clinton was impeached for lying to the Grand Jury but the Senate let him off…Reid would never convict Obuma so all this impeachment talk is just blowing sweet nothings in the wind.

          • 911Infidel

            That’s pretty much my point.

    • And the Truth shall set him free…

      • 911Infidel

Interestiing that the FBI had investigated Petraeous. Kind of reminds me of the old J Edgar Hoover days. Old J. Edgar had files on the many affairs of JFK, RFK and LBJ. He kept them all to himself and used them only when necessary to hold onto power.

Lets see if Petraeous has the stones to speak the truth. Maybe someone should send him a copy of the old Army Leadership manual bookmarked at the section that covers “moral courage”.

    • conwis

      And don’t forget witness protection!

  • RosiesSeeingRed

The FBI?? Don’t they have better things to do?

    • Orangeone

And the FBI reports to….wait for it…..Eric Holder. And the CIA did the Benghazi “investigation” and had custody of the live feed tapes that Issa’s Committee has demanded but not received.

  • This sounds like Jarrett’s remarks are happening real fast. I find it odd that the FBI is taking on the job of looking into the personal life of people right around election/scandal time.

  • anyonebutbarry2012

so how many weeks before the election did they know about this? …..

    • The Ronald Kessler article at newsmax.com provides details as to how long the FBI knew about this.

  • denbren52

As with most negative news, it had to wait until after the election. We’re screwed!

  • gilamonster8

What did Obama know and how many BJs was the blackmail.

    • If there were any, Obama was likely giving them.

  • maynardb50

Well, if the FBI is so busy looking into the personal life of Generals, how about looking a little deeper into Barack Obama Soeteros life??

  • Don

The General and his biographer seemed to have found something that few people even knows exists. The chemistry between them seems natural. External forces will not break them up at this stage of their relationship. I would very surprised if they don’t get through this with a future together ahead of them.

    • poljunkie

    • RighteousCrow_JustCaws

      Unstable foundation for a long-term relationship…trust issue?

    • Betsey_Ross

It sounds too much like John Edwards. That didn’t work out so well.

  • PVG

I am glad this is keeping Benghazi in the headlines. I hope it’s giving BO headaches…..

    • Orangeone

It’s not causing Barky Boy any pain. The are all useless to him now.

  • Watchman74

Does the FBI normally investigate extramarital affairs? The timing of all this is certainly convenient.

    • poljunkie

I think its because she tried to access his emails.

      • puma_for_life

Question: why was she trying to access his emails?

        • Marridge

She might have been trying to look at his yahoo account? I doubt there would be much personal stuff in his .mil account. This makes no sense.

    • Orangeone

They do if their boss Eric Holder tells them to.

      • Yeah, it’s far more important than making sure the polling place is safe from intimidation by thugs dressed in fake military garb.

  • Orangeone

Oh this sounds very similar to John Edwards doesn’t it.

    • poljunkie

Yep, Write a a few nice words…. pat him on the head and give hime some attention, and then he sells out his wife of 30+ years.

      Way to go David.

Wow what a fitting title to Petraeus book. ALL IN

    • Orangeone

I cannot pick myself up from the floor because I am laughing so much….almost said a word that rhymes with card but then others would be on the floor laughing…

  • Spartan4Palin

Blackmail, which is not a new thing used by this Chicago crew! But because this involves the Benghazi cover up, it would appear that if they hoped to keep it covered up to have, how shall we say, find out that ‘the fit has hit the shan’!

And by Patreaus coming out with the news instead of the administration means another cover up of epic proportions. If we find out that this affair took place some months ago?

Sad? Very much so. But a great chess move by Patreaus, absolutely. I once said a while back when Benghazi broke that they would find a way to blame him? Didn’t really expect something like this, though!

    • Orangeone

Of course this was a while ago. Do we think he turned to her after watching the 4 men in Benghazi be slaughtered?

  • Don

Outstanding perception,911infidel. This would not be happening this publicly unless it wasn’t in somebody’s best interests. Strange if the “anything goes party” will make too big of an issue of this. Either way, the General wins.

  • I wonder how much longer it will be before Leon Panetta resigns for “health reasons?” Of course, he will do that just before he testifies, too.

    • puma_for_life

I read somewhere that Panetta was going to be resigning along with Hillary. Interesting isn’t it…

    • I just heard that Hillary is unavailable to attend next week’s Benghazi hearing as well. Busy week.

      • Marridge

Can we find her agenda anywhere? I bet she is meeting with the Prime Minister of Andorra. /s

  • Spartan4Palin

And would Morell have known about the investigation on Patreaus?

  • Okay, I dont believe it and even if he had an affair, I dont care. His wife should although she works for Obama too.

When does the FBI investigate the CIA and General of two American wars?
    Not very often

    • aposematic

I believe the investigation was of the biographer and the rest uncovered through that.

      • puma_for_life

No, there was an investigation of unknown purpose in which the biographers name came up. They then investigated the biographer which led to the affair.

  • Arrrggghhh

I gotten to the point where I just don’t believe anything that I hear in the news any more. Am I the only one that feels that way?

    • sDee

      Rhetorical Question, I presume.

Triangulating blogs is the only useful information that can be gleaned anymore.

    • I only listen to our local station…Rush, Hannity, Savage, Levin…to get the truth!

      • And the truth is handed down to you from these pillars of righteousness.

WoW..what happened to the notion of free thought, someone using intelligence, reason and research to form their own opinions?

You Mum..are no different from those socialist lemmings of the Occupy Wallstreet democrat group.

Make up your own opinion..don’t hold out your hands for these paid off fat-cat liars to jerk-off into them. so you can stuff your mouth with the “truth”.

What is the truth any way? Ask yourself that.

        Make the tea-party proud.

  • Spartan4Palin

Here’s another issue I have about the FBI. Ummmm,,,,,,,wasn’t it just proven that they had been on the ground for only 3 hours to gather information about the attack. And then it was reported that a small ME reporter found documents some weeks later that showed the ambassador had contacted the SoS in August about the potential for an attack?

So the FBI can investigate a marital affair. But can’t find the evidence sitting on the floor of a burnt out building out in the open that would prove the 9/11 attack was NOT in fact a part of a protest?

    • NJK

And they don’t know Barry’s real background? Of course they do. They’re lying.

  • PVG
  • tshtsh

Betray us is like a school kid who didn’t do his homework–thankful it is a snow day. I wonder if he really did have an affair?

    • Like I said before, the way the administration lies, I think the affair and anything they accused her of is just made up. This whole things reminds me of a John Grisham novel. I wish this was fiction or just a horrible nightmare.

  • Orangeone

BTW, any coincidence this was done on a Friday????

Petraeous’s wife is a sweetheart. She’s a peach. She’s been great to the troops. So WTF did you see in your lover there General. A nice set of young knockers? I feel sorry for Mrs Petraeous. She’s a good woman who deserves better.

The writer reminded Betrayus of Sandra Fluke so that the service was free as long as birth control pills were provided.

    • CPAguy

      Do you see the picture.

Nature is nature. It is morally wrong…but it isn’t the end of the world or a reflection upon his deeds.

      • 911Infidel

This incident IS one of his deeds. Nature is nature. Sin is Sin. And his wife got f-ed over. I got nothing good to say about that or that stupid COIN crap that has infected the brains of the military and continues to get people killed.

My old man used to say that if a man can’t be trusted to be loyal to his own wife, he can’t be trusted with anything else. Every cad that I ever met was a spot on example of how my old man was right.

Not the end of the world? Just an end to a career and possibly a 37-year marriage.
It is a public disgrace and an embarrasment. I don’t consider that to be something to be dismissed or taken lightly.

        • CPAguy

Ahh…that is crazy talk. People like sex. People can enjoy and even love more than 1 person.

It is up to his wife to judge his actions and take whatever course she deems appropriate.

          • 911Infidel

Uh no it ain’t. Petraeous read the same Army Leadership manual that I read. The part of that talks about “courage”. There is physical courage and moral courage. What he did comes under the heading of conduct unbecomming.

            • colliemum

It does, 911infidel – but in today’s climate where having sex whenever with whomever, regardless, cheating on wife or husband is regarded as something which just happens, so what, get over it …

Yes, we’re all fallen, we’re all sinful and how a wife deals with a cheating husband is up to her, it’s different for each couple.

I know I’m going to get into trouble here, but I’m getting a bit impatient with the general attitude of blaming the man when such affaires come up. Yes, they shouldn’t have … but what about the female? The female who knew the man was married and went for him anyway, for her own gratification? Why do we keep on blaming husband and/or wife when he’s into an affaire, but the ‘other’ woman is nowadays more like a heroine, and doesn’t get blamed?
That’s another failure chalked up to rabid feminism.

              • tshtsh

They both knew he was married and their actions were wrong. Today’s society could not possibly care less about virtue and had no problem with the general’s affair this is just a ploy (that will not work) to avoid testifying.

              • 911Infidel

Get over it? No I won’t.. I pointed out that leadership requires a different set of behaviors than Petraeous exhibited.

This society for too long has bought into the Kinsey/Hippie lie that if it feels good do it.

This constitution was created for a moral and religious people. The reason that it is failing anymore, is because of the kind of behaviors exhibited by Petraeous and many others. Kinsey. Spock and the Hippies were all dead wrong. They saw themselves and other humans as animals rather than moral agents created in the image and likeness of God just a bit lower than the angels. The idea of a God interfered with their baser sexual mores. Their morality is nothing but social Darwinism at its worst.

This whole thing goes to the larger issue of what is wrong with this spoiled bratty-a$$ society. Gimme, gimmie, I want this…I want that….I’ll do what I want.. It feels good so I’m going to do it…

Sowing to the wind ALWAYS reaps the whirlwind. Just go ask Petraeous if it was worth it. I bet he turns red in the face and drops his head in shame.

BTW, it takes two to tango. Both parties are to blame equally. It doesn’t have squat to do with feminism. It has more to do with two people caving in to their baser instincts.

                • Is_Sense_Common

I appreciate your willingness and ability to stand up for the moral values here 911infidel. Kudos and thank you!

                • 911Infidel

Thanks. I learned long ago that taking a stand is more fun than following the crowd. And when I met Jesus Christ He confirmed my suspicion that “righteousness exalts a nation, but sin condemns any people.”

I also quoted from the Army Leadership manual which I devoured while leading a heavy mortar FDC section in the military. After doing so, my take on the universal principals of life was confirmed yet again.

“For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God’s sight.” (I Cor 3:19)

“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.” (Matthew 7: 24-27)

“Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming.” (Ephesians 4:14)

Just an fyi, Sharryl Attkisson knew about the Benghazi emails before the 3rd debate that her own station moderated. I used to have more respect for her. If she was a true journalist, she would have blown the whistle on those emails BEFORE the debate, not the day after.

Possible related to multiple leaks over time on security, did she get info and then track down and leak to friends at NYT etc? Why not testify? Said he wanted to, so what difference in or out of CIA? Not to us, but sure does to Obama WH, since he owes them no inside man loyalty now. My guess, this came up, they held and when it came time to testify they suggested he lie for them. He said no, they told we’ll ruin you, and he said watch me…and cleared his conscious and left. Needs to be supoened to testify. He will not lie under oath.

And yes, Trey Gowdy will systematically take this apart. You do not want to be hiding the cheese when he is looking for it. Guy rocks.

    • MaxineCA

Thanks for the “heads up”. I’ll be sure to watch. I love Trey Gowdy as well.

    • Landscaper

We’re moving to Greenville, SC in ’13 and Gowdy already has our vote.

      • StandProudNow

May have to move to Greenville just in order to be able to vote for him!!

He is a Patriot and a Warrior!!

    • Psyphurr Lock

I agree. Said this yesterday on another forum when the new broke. He is being proactive to counter the WH. Watch…. With any luck he will be better at chess then Axelrod.

  • Disgusting Jerk.

  • MaxineCA

I just read an interesting article by Stephen Hayes (Weekly Standard), posted on Drudge. Petraues already lied to Congress on 9/14, still claiming the video story, knowing full well it wasn’t. Lawmakers were contemplating requesting his resignation. Here’s the link:

By carrying the water for the admin. he set himself up for the CIA to be thrown under the Obama bus. So much for honor…… I guess when you come off the battlefield and become a politician, you lose you honor. What a sad way to end a military career.

    • Spartan4Palin

I bet the reason he gave that info was because the WH said to do it or we’ll cash in our chit on you?

  • David Boyes

gives a new meaning to ALL in ….

  • Why was she under FBI investigation for trying to access his e-mails? There is something very very wrong here. The affair began after he retired from the military in 2011 and ended several months ago. So, I have to wonder, was he set up by the CIA or the White House?

    • conservativemama

Axelrod. I’m sure he has files on everyone to use when necessary. He’s done this before. Obama’s political career is built on the ruin of others. Unsealed divorce records…………..

Obama and his crowd are leftists. This is a purge. Honestly all you need to know about Obama you can learn from the Godfather movies. Petraeus is playing the role of Frank Pentangeli. At first seemingly ready to talk, which might hurt the administration. But then changing his mind, after a meeting with someone?, and sacrificing himself to protect Obama.

      • Wigglesworth111

I was thinking the same thing. The Obama regime is like the mafia. Remember in the movie when they set up that Senator so they would have dirt on him? He had to go along with their plans or he would be exposed.

        • conservativemama

Oh yes! There are many Nevada Senators in Obama’s world. I’ve thought of that character many times over the last 4 years.

      • Bekuzikan

So what you’re saying is that the Obama Administration found out that Supreme Court Justice Roberts has a freaky fedish he NEEDED to keep secret?!!!
… Surprise, Surprise. Well that explains it!

  • “Members of the Senate Intelligence Committee excused Petraeus from testifying “……….Why would they do that. Whose side are they on anyway!!!

  • CPAguy

I would have done it too….

  • aussieguy64

Things just got interesting. The more they try to tie up loose ends, the more suspicion it causes.

I saw today on CNBC with an interview on one of their own contributors. He and his sources are extremely suspicious of the timing of this.

I’m going to go heat some popcorn. Because you never know what else will suddenly pop out!

  • Very sad…

  • tinlizzieowner

If the General wanted to ‘do the honorable thing’, why didn’t he resign when the affair ended? Here’s what probably happened (my opinion). Barry’s ‘machine’ found out about this, threatened to drag him through the mud if he didn’t toe the line and he beat them to the punch, exposed himself now that the Obama machine is going to be running things for another 4 years, and quit. They want his 2nd in charge talking it the committee because they can still exert come pressure on him. Just because the General the libs used to call Gen. ‘Betray-us’ when he worked for Bush, is now a civilian doesn’t mean he can’t testify but now, the libs can call him ‘a liar’.

  • tinlizzieowner

The General had a girlfriend, what a shocker. I’m a military historian, I work in a military museum. Do a little homework on our most prominent Generals over time, you’ll find that many of them has a chick on the side, only the government did it’s best to hide it, just like they did with the (D) Kennedys.

  • NJK

Patreaus is betrayus, look at that. Actually, I think anyone who works for the stealth Jihadist is a traitor anyway. I hope his marriage goes to hell too. Actually, I wish him all of the hell life has to offer him. He worked for the Muslim Brotherhood stooge, Obama.

Karma’s going to get all of them in the end. It even got Hitler eventually, he did everyone a favor and shot himself. Hope Barry does that.

  • NJK

Why is he not testifying? Wow! So you can actually have a stand in testify for you? Come on. What did he do? Did he let them die? I’ll bet he did. I’ll bet he went right along with the Jihadist and Chief. The Muslim Brotherhood infiltrator, Obama. Something isn’t right here. First they lie to America’s face, and now someone is going to testify in his place? He did something.

So, let me get this straight. A private citizen can’t testify? THIS IS ANOTHER LIE. THEY’RE LYING AGAIN! THEY’RE GOING TO GET PEOPLE KILLED AND LIE AGAIN.

    • maydaigh

NJK, you are correct to question that because Petraeus can be compelled to testify via that hand-delivered, personal invitation called a subpoena. That subpoena could be exactly why he resigned now — give the impression that he’s a team player who doesn’t want to sell out the administration but banking on the fact that the Republicans wouldn’t let him off that easily in this tense political environment. Regardless of whether that theory holds water, the quick resignation of a highly decorated combat veteran who earned the rank of General (4 stars) and weathered the scrutiny of multiple administrations is unsettling, to say the least. However, the timing of the affair would coincide quite nicely for the White House, for example, if it wanted to ensure a certain individual would fill a vacant intelligence position…and if that individual also happened to be a married, active-duty servicemember, that would be the golden ticket for the White House.

As a former Marine, I have always had the upmost respect for General Petraeus and the decades of service he gave to our country. While there is no question he must be held accountable for his own poor judgment and bad decisions, I cannot get over that “something’s rotten in the state of Denmark” gut feeling…too many “coincidences” continue to occur with anyone and everything touching this administration.

  • Cindy09

Catherine Herridge says that Petraeus could be subpoenaed. Hope he is! There is lot we want to hear from him personally.

  • justright

To gather information for the book, Paula Broadwell looked at the General from a lot of different positions.

    • crosshr

and then what was /were the killer position the General took her out on ? just curious cos no need of a prayer there, lol

  • Bekuzikan

Andrew Breitbart died of a “Heart Attack” before he could reveal the evidence that could expose Obama. HHMMM. Watch your back General. If he “commits Hara Kiri” because he is soooo ashamed….. I’m just saying.

  • Tall, Dark and Handsome

Read in one media story where she was trying to access his emails, keep in mind that he is the head of the CIA when she was doing this. Top secret stuff and all that………..

  • they make a nice couple

  • Rshill7

Hasn’t anyone looked at Paula Broadwell as well as the publisher of the book and the connections there?

My info is that Paula Broadwell went to West Point and has been all over the world serving with CIA, FBI etc. The book publisher also has connections with Soros. She was no doubt trained in how to seduce men too for all manner of clandestine “service”.

This thing is thicker than frozen molasses.

I want democrats to get a good picture of what they voted for. This should make Watergate look like a parking ticket.

    • Two words: Bill Clinton

Since when you resign for adultery. This is so he will not testify on Benghazi.

Obama is president and Petraeus career goes down.

    • wodiej

Amazing careers both of them and they turned out to be corrupt. What a waste.

  • USA2Galt

It’s hard to know if America has entered a similar situation to 1860 or 1938. But it’s definitely possible that only a major war will “correct” the collectivist chaos.

  • Here’s a thought McChrystal was set up by a rolling stone clown following him around, why does Petraeus have a biographer following him around ? To do the same damn thing!

  • chatterbox365

I think that bozo Toure was right when he said the White House remains black…it’s true and it has nothing to do with race. The whole situation stinks…another disgrace to the Office of the Presidency.

Most people who have affairs are never sorry until they get caught. If the General was not exposed, he would have continued to bang her and not think twice about it.

  • Emperor O to Petraeus..” You freakin threw us under the bus when you said the CIA did not give any order to stand down. Now, you either resign or we’ll divulge your affair”. Fast fwd…Emperor O to his thugs..” he resigned, release the details of the affair”

    • i give up there is an epidemic of dipsticks in here…are you related by any chance, with two heads?

  • Well, well, the young, hot, gf is associated with the CIA and was trying to access email? This tool was totally set up.

    • holy dogshxt…this is unbelievable, seriously. Put down the spy novel and go do some gardening lardass.

      • If you want to keep posting here, you need to tone it down, cut it with the personal attacks and read the rules of conduct. There’s nothing wrong with having a different opinion, but be civil about it please.

  • wodiej

Sounds fishy to me as well. He should still testify. Having no character should make him more suspect to wrongdoing.

    • the only fishy smell is coming from your bedroom, close the door.

  • aZjimbo

What a complete degradation of society we are seeing in this country.

  • sue-marie

No no no….they wanted Petraeus out. Petraeus angered Obama for putting the spotlight back on the WH when he said his agency did NOT refuse his 2 agents help. I have no doubt that this FBI sludge they revealed was just a warning to Petreaus. This Hoover FBI has dirt on everybody. An affair? They ALL have affairs…I mean ALL of these guys! There is much more to this than 4 dead Americans…I hope our GOP side of this government has the moxy to stand up to the Libs and go the distance.

    • Sue, there are dishes waiting to be washed.

  • Is_Sense_Common

“If he was the number 2 at the CIA, he should know nearly as much as Petraus right?” -Scoop

I smell a whole lot of #2 in this whole mess…

    • You smell an unflushed toilet near your room.

  • SKL53

Gee how convenient this came out AFTER the election! Well Petraus STILL needs to testify!!!He knows much about what happened in Benghazi!!!

  • Guys and gals, let us leave the General and his family in peace and not perpetrate further innuendoes which border on the ridiculous especially from Pres Obama haters…you people are sickening and disgusting. You did not dare speak like that where GW took your sons and daughters to war to enrich his friends…remember that or are you all so lame brained and hypnotized that you cannot see that Obama saved the country from going down the gurgler…you are all totally pathetic lardasses with no life…stop sleeping with your cousins and read a book or two. It is simple to see, the general stuffed up and it has nothing to do with Libya…but close, more to do with libido. Why, I love sleeping around with different women, I need to practice so ugly women get the nod too. I see there are some ugly women here, so if anyone is looking for an affair, text me back.

    • hateobamacare

mp5man…you speak like the devil with your personal insults and attacks. You may be well-read and articulate your thoughts fairly well, but that does little to disguise the character behind your words.

You can rid yourself of the discussion here by turning off your PC as well. Better that than peeing in the punch bowl to try to intimidate others.

  • TJinNJ

    Betrayus betrayed-her

    Was it with Huma Abedin?

  • Oh..again for the numbnuts — this has nothing to do with Libya. This decorated hero made a grave error, but look at her, you would too (for the real men in here). He now pays the price for their indiscretion. Let us leave it at that. Period. Fk off now and stop talking shxt about the President, stop talking about guns in the same sentence, and stop talking about this subject! Close your pc and pee off and wash the dishes for the women here, and the men, go and look for a mistress, get caught and then see how you feel. Then come back and tell us.

  • demographicallychallenged

Has anyone considered that the alleged affair is a coverup? That he resigned under the threat of being politicaly/professionly destroyed by the Government. Then stripped of his rank, title, and pension. I haven’t heard one statement from his wife, wifes attorney, or the other women. The only thing I hear about is how he can not testify. He may have very well went home, and said it the problem has been resolved, sat down and had dinner.

    • more than demographically

  • colliemum

Mike Flynn over at Breitbart asks some very pertinent questions here:

    worth a read!

  • David Boyes

people should do a million person march on the white house or wherever … and demand answers to Benghazi – there is a RAT somewhere…. there should be MUCH righteous anger….

  • DebbyX

Hey Scoop, I don’t think MP5man is playing by the rules here. He’s getting really vicious.

    • Sorry Debby- I got the notifications late. He’s gone. Now I think I need another shower.

  • wolfveryne

Before Petraeus was chosen to head the CIA ,, the Administration had Knowledge of this affair ,, and chose just now to cash in his chips . The Lizard King ,, strikes again !
Question this time ,, is how long will the Administration Stone Wall ,, congress ?

  • myfriendchris

forgot to mention that romney won in all the states that had voter id laws….he lost in the ones that didnt!

do you now get it! thats why recount is needed because obama didnt win this election. he won by voter fraud! who in their right mind (other then blacks that vote on color only) would vote for a man that ran on hope and change and did nothing but make the country worse then when he got into office!

its just not even a question whether or not he stole the election! we all know romney won that thing had it been done without voter fraud!

  • GEDouglas

The past week has felt like tumbling down the rabbit hole.

    • Is_Sense_Common

Excellent description. Barry & the gang are likely going to get away with Benghazi… My mind keeps going back to OJ & how he got acquitted. I felt so cheated of justice but I am reminded Who is in charge and that He is perfectly just all the time. We have to trust Him and His perfect timing.

In the meantime, it would sure be nice if we could see some earthly justice SOMEWHERE in all these scandals. (voter fraud, Fast & Furious, Benghazi, etc. etc. etc.)

      • GEDouglas

Amen…a little justice would be welcomed and is hopefully on the horizon.
