State Department in full-blown crisis mode, sets up 24-hour monitoring team for embassy crisis

Despite how I feel about this administration, I’m really pulling for the State Department, who is now in full-blown crisis mode, and our military to keep our people safe from angry Islamists around the world. If there has ever been a day I’m pulling for this administration, it is today. It was tough watching the coffins of our ambassador to Libya and his three staffers being transferred today. We don’t need any more lives lost to these barbaric cretins.

Via Drudge:

FOREIGN POLICY – The State Department has gone into full-blown crisis mode, organizing a round-the-clock effort to coordinate the U.S. government’s response to the expanding attacks on U.S. embassies in the Middle East and North Africa.

“The State Department has stood up a 24-hr monitoring team to insure appropriate coordination of information and our response. In addition, our consular team is working with missions around the world to protect American citizens and issue appropriate public warden information,” a senior State Department official told reporters Friday afternoon.

“We have been monitoring events in the Middle East and North Africa intensively today, and working with our personnel and missions overseas and host governments to strengthen security in all locations and to respond effectively where protests have turned violent,” the official said.

The official noted that U.S. embassies in Libya and Yemen have been reinforced with Marine FAST teams and noted that other unspecified measures are being taken to strengthen embassy security around the region. The State Department is working with the governments in Tunisia and Sudan to increase security at the U.S. embassies there as well, the official said.

The U.S. Embassy in Tunis was breached by rioters who replaced the American flag with the black banner of al Qaeda. According to Tunisian state television, at least three Tunisians died when security forces open fire in an effort to disperse the crowd; another rioter was killed in Sudan, Reuters reported.

“The secretary, other department principals, and our ambassadors and charges in the field have been in constant contact with regional leaders, and we appreciate the many public statements that leaders have made in recent days condemning the attack in Benghazi, denouncing violence and calling for calm,” the official said.

Looks like Hillary was asleep at the switch when that 3am phone call came through.

    • Galatiansch2vs20

Maybe it’s because it was Obama’s job to be at that switch?

      • 911Infidel

Can’t watch the phone while playing golf and campaigning. Hillary is in charge of State…or is it the Ikwan’s very own Huma Abedin? Tweedle dum or tweedle dee…Either way our foreign service employees are totally effed.

        • Galatiansch2vs20

Mrs. Clinton is looking very tired. I think working this job under Obama’s leadership has drained her- it’s not the first time she’s looked tired to me- makes me feel kind of sorry for her, though I believe she has horrible values in many areas.

          • 911Infidel

“Wasn’t it just last year that in a triumphant statement in response to the “liberation” of Libya, Clinton called the revolution that the US proudly assisted in “the work of ordinary, brave Libyans who demanded their freedoms and dignity.” Clinton said, “The United States is proud to have supported them in those efforts, and we are committed to their future.” Now we see that supporting those efforts have resulted in the murdering of benevolent ambassadors, the burning down of US embassies, and the threatening of American citizens?” – AT (Today)

“Clinton said that her question about Libya “reflects just how complicated, and at times, how confounding the world can be.”

Really Dianne Rodham? Clinton should just admit that foreign policy is way over her head and step down.

            • Galatiansch2vs20

Yes, but would Obama appoint anyone any better?

              • He would but Marx is dead. So is Mao.

                • Galatiansch2vs20

They are better than Mrs. Clinton?

                • To the marxist in the white house they would be.

              • 911Infidel

I think you’ve totally missed the point.

                • Galatiansch2vs20

I was replying to your last sentence- wasn’t that your main point? I agreed, Clinton should step down, but wondered if Obama would choose any one better to replace her (in these last days of his presidency).

                • 911Infidel

Better? How can Satan choose anyone better than Satan?

                • Galatiansch2vs20

Since Obama is an enemy of America, Mrs. Clinton stepping down from being Secretary of State would not result in an improvement in that position, though if Mrs. Clinton wanted to show a little integrity, she would step down. I don’t think she’s got it in her though.

I believe Obama is of his father, Satan, and is held captive to do his will.

                • 911Infidel

Ridham had intel from the Egyptians that there would be trouble on Sept 4. She had plenty of time to react accordingly. She did nothing. She should resign immediately because her failure to act has gotten people killed and put our embassies at risk throughout the world. She should therefore resign immediately and take responsibility for her failures. That’s what an adult would do. Whomever Sotero appoints in her place is irrelevant. What is relevant is the failure of his policy in the ME and the need to replace these fools in November.

                • Galatiansch2vs20

I agree that she is culpable and should resign and further believe she should be prosecuted for this crime of neglect that resulted in the loss of human lives.

                • 911Infidel

                • Galatiansch2vs20

But disagree that whoever Obama would appoint in her place would be irrelevant. While it would be the right thing for her to do, Obama would not do the right thing in who he chose to replace her. Which is one of the many reasons why I agree that we need to vote the President out of office.

                • 911Infidel

You’re beating a dead horse. You’re like a bumble bee trapped in a mason jar bouncing from one side of the glass to another. If your moniker is true, then you should just let your yes be yes and your no be no and move on.

                • Galatiansch2vs20

I am not swearing by anything, which is what that Scripture you refer to is talking about.

I have been saying yes to something I have been agreeing with right along, that Secretary Clinton should step down… and after looking back at one of your responses to me, said no to something you said which I do not agree with, the irrelevancy of who Obama would appoint in Clinton’s place.

                • 911Infidel

Don’t read the scripture much huh? Get a concordence and figure it out for yourself. And you’re still beating a dead horse.

                • Galatiansch2vs20

But above all, my brethren, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath; but your yes is to be yes, and your no, no, so that you may not fall under judgment. James 5:12 NAS

                • 911Infidel

The meaning of the passage goes even deeper than that: Don’t be a bumble bee in a mason jar. 11charlie out.

          • She’s a student of Alinsky as well… I can’t find it easy to feel sorry for someone who worships a man who dedicated his book to Satan.

            • Galatiansch2vs20

              I hear you.

            • Don

Hillary wrote her senior paper at Wellesley on Alinsky. Amazing how both she and Obama are Alinsky sychophants and both are pathological liars. Alinsky hated the middle class because he saw them as a buffer between the masses and the upper class. He preached the midddle class had to be destroyed before the upper class could be destroyed. This is Obama’s creed.

              • I’m no Hilary fan, but she hasn’t shown the pathological level of lying that is remotely in the class that Obama’s in. Bill lies like a dog, too, but not even he lies as much as Obama. Few people outside of a jail cell have lied as much as Obama.

              • Mitt as well. George Romney had Saul Alinsky at his house and Mitt was his Spokesman. George lost the 64 primary because of his love of Alinsky and all other Communist worldwide.

          • p m

She is a rabid Alinskyite. She is as bad as zero. She has brought America to this appalling pass. I cannot spare any sympathy for HRC – only to the Soldiers and Marines and US Embassy staff everywhere.

            • Galatiansch2vs20

I think perhaps she has more emotion about what is happening and is acting more spent than Obama- but I hear you that you can’t spare sympathy. She supports a lot of evil things.

          • puma_for_life

She’s a complete sellout. She keeps repeating this known lie that some stupid obscure film is the cause of these terrorist attacks. Covering for Obama would make me more than tired; it would make me seriously ill.

            • Galatiansch2vs20

              like to that last sentence!

          • Patriot077

Like RightScoop, I am pulling for the State Dept to be successful but I have absolutely no sympathy for Ms Clinton. She is a Soros puppet and ardent admirer of Saul Alinsky (I believe she wrote her thesis about him). She was instrumental in setting up the shadow government and started media matters to attack honest journalists who reported on Bill’s troubles with the ladies. She is every bit as bad as Zero (IMHO).

David Horowitz’ website, has a full run down on her.

            • Galatiansch2vs20

Amjean set me onto why she looked the way she did- her job description and her failure at it, which led to the loss of lives.

              • Patriot077

I was late to the party but saw that after I had posted. Good to know so many on this site aren’t fooled by her. 🙂

                • Galatiansch2vs20

I’m glad too that many on this site know she is not trustworthy! Mrs. Clinton has much to regret- the way she failed at her job is a huge shame and criminal!

          • Amjean

Although she was treated very badly by the Obama campaign (politics is a dirty business) and in particular by the Democratic Party whom both her and Bill have
given their all to (still), one must not forget that her politics are aligned with Obama.
            They are both socialists.

I believe it is in her job description to protect our embassies, etc. overseas. Someone
on her watch fell down on the job. She is so busy flying here, there and everywhere,
I don’t she how she could keep up with what her department was doing or not
doing. However, 9.11 is an historic date for muslim unrest and that date alone should have alerted her to the fact that extra security measures should have been taken.

She failed. Lives, etc. were lost because of it. Don’t feel too sorry for her.

            • Galatiansch2vs20

Thanks for mentioning her job description. It led me to look it up.
              I looked at

You are right- and it is likely the fact that she failed and lives have been lost that is weighing on her conscience right now.

              • Amjean

I think any chance to run for president in 2016 was lost because of this as well.
Perhaps she was set up by Obama. I wouldn’t put it past him because when I look
at him I see a face of evil.

The guys at, gays who campaigned heavily for her in 2007/2008
have very nice things to say about her personally. And they know her well, so
outside of politics she must be a great gal.

                • Galatiansch2vs20

I don’t feel any sympathy about chances for running for president being lost!

    • conservative58

Maybe Hillary conferred with her aide, Huma, and decided the potential threat was ‘no big deal’.

      • 911Infidel

Which would mean that she was consorting with the enemy. That would make her an incompitent AND a traitor.

  • johnos2112

I live in NorCal and there are plenty of Muslim outfits so this could become a problem!

    • cheezwhizz

And don’t forget, #occupy goons are still waiting for their marching orders from their messiah

      • johnos2112

You know how this will play out too.  The radical muslims will use the OWS folks as pawn and then when they are not needed they will throw them under the bus.  In some instances literally!

        • cheezwhizz

The radical muslims will use the OWS folks as pawn and then when they are not needed they will throw them under the bus. In some instances literally!

          ….after raping them first 🙁

          • warpmine

            ….then blow the bus up.

            • cheezwhizz

…..and the media will blame Romney , Bush, Cheney, Halliburton and Palin

    • tvlgds

Santa Clara is a hotbed of Muslim activity!

      • johnos2112

Be careful Niner fans on Sunday night!

        • tvlgds

Even though I lived in the Bay Area more than a dozen yrs. I am no Niner fan, but I do hope there are extra security measures taken. Heck, they should just hire the gangstah fans that usually beat up on other teams’ fans to keep the terrorists out. 😀

      • cheezwhizz

DeAnza College is practically a madarassa now.
San Jose State is getting there too

  • Sorry Right…I agree with you about the Americans but I feel no sympathy for the State Department or the officials. Spare me the pull on heartstrings! I want our Military Protected in every way and Americans…..but the State Department had Marines in Cairo at the Embassy without LIVE AMMO!! Give me a break! To sit here and say pull for them? BS!! They caused this BS and so did OBAMA…we suffer and then you ask us to be patriotic and care…I care for my country…this Adm can go rot in HECK!!

They hate America and then you think we should cheer and help them when they would throw you and every one of us to the Islamists if they could…BS RIGHT!

    • MiketheMarine

Easy, Brother. I get what Scoop means. I don’t want any more Americans killed. That isn’t realistic. More WILL be killed and this administration has screwed the pooch. Let’s hope they get their shit together and save as many as we can. I assure you that Scoop is not suddenly a supporter of the admin. But he is a supporter of ALL American lives.

I get your anger. I’m pissed too. Fighting amongst ourselves serves no one.

      • You totally missed my point….this is not about anger but reality…I will not sit and say put my head in the sand! I do not need you to tell me what Right meant. I know it and disagree simply put. I will support Americans always I will not support this Adm at all…they could care less about the US Constitution so save me about my honor when they have none!

        • serfer62

I won’t miss the State Dept. they have caused the US grief for decades…BUT the military doesn’t need to be sacrificed for some pompus asses in State & Commander-in-chief.

        • MiketheMarine

You’ve never serve in the military, have you? Point is, you can shit on the admin all you want but until another President takes over, only Maobama and Clintoon have the power to scramble our military to kick some ass and save some lives. You hold your position and you are condemning all Americans over there to death because you hate Maobama so much. Get on board man. Unless you’ve got a transporter and can go get them.

          • I am not going to argue with you…you have your position and I have mine. CUT THE CRAP with me condemning all Americans YOU ARE AN IDIOT! I never said that so take your Obama tactics and shove it Marine….I am not going to take that from some jerk like you!

            • MiketheMarine

Temper, temper, Michael. You and I are actually on the same side and I used to be a bit reactionary too. I don’t hold any hard feelings towards you and did not mean to upset you. However, I won’t have you attacking our host, either.

              Semper Fi, Son.

              • Again distort and distort…no did not attack the host…I diagreed with his position on the Administration and support. Spin is spin as is this!

            • Rshill7

Mike never entered the jerk zone sir. You on the other hand have set up camp there.

              • I will take that so deeply Rshill…it breaks my heart that you feel that way…NOT…save it for a hallmark card!

                • Rshill7

                  Too late. It’s for you.

                • Brilliant Einstein….come up with something clever! If you even know how!

                • Rshill7

Ok, but it must be in all caps and utilize several exclamation points, right?

                • If you know how Einstein!!! I am not sure you could read the keys….clueless!

                • Rshill7

Sorry, I don’t use all caps and multiple exclamation points. There’s nothing clever in that. I usually use words, arranged in such a way as to convey pictures, ideas, thoughts, wisdom, and a sound mind in control of it’s emotions.

You might consider trying that, whether in control of your emotions or not.

                • Easy Michael. Don’t let your anger get the best of you. There’s no problem with disagreeing with Scoop, but your manner is getting abit offensive.

            • 4Hoppes2

Wow, why the animus towards Mike, he has always been a good and valuable source of commentary. You have too, this is a time to be closing ranks not causing a rift.

              • Simply I will not take crap from anyone because I have my opinion…Mike has his and that is fine but when someone distorts what I say bring it on? He spills BS about me not worrying about Americans or Military..yet nowhere does that exist in any of my posts. I am sick of this Administration that guts the military, could care less about Americans, attacks America at will by dimishing our Great Country, caused this Middle East crisis with Weak Policies and has no problem with attacking Christians, as well as, never stands up for America. My point was that Right Scoop wants us to pull for the Adm but this Adm deserves nothing for what they do daily to America and its citizens!

I love out Military and have operated on many of them….but do not distort what I say for your point. I will defend immediately!

This State Department will do nothing but blame a YOU TUBE VIDEO, I am sure will sacrifice Free Speech, possbly arrest this man and could care less about the US Constitution. That drives me nuts! And to say support them no…Americans yes….Military yes….this Adm NO!

                • Now that was well put.

                • puma_for_life

I agree that this will be used to further abridge our freedom of speech and it is all a lie designed to protect Obama.

            • I completely understand your anger, but please let’s keep it civil here at least.

  • Army_Pilot1967

Not a particularly safe day to be an American anywhere overseas!

    • MiketheMarine

I’m not sure it will be safe on this side of the sea, this weekend.

      • Youve been posting this on a few videos. I’m curious about why in particular you think it will get bad here and just how bad do you think it will get this weekend?

        • MiketheMarine

There have already been 4 bomb threats here in the USA, today. And the one in KC is ongoing and a bomb dog has reacted positively to explosive in a car owned by a man who walked into a federal building and identified himself as a terrorist, Jim. It has already started.

My warning is because I don’t want anybody I care about or respect to be hurt because they don’t think it can happen. It is already happening.

How bad, I can’t say. No way to know. In fact, I hope I’m wrong.

        • Nukeman60

Open your eyes. This country is filled with mosques. They are the organizing centers for the terrorism that comes forth.

          • Amjean

I don’t want to seem naive, however, our community has a mosque and we do
not feel threatened because 1) we outnumber the muslims and 2) our middle class
community way of life is appreciated by the muslim immigrants who all have careers. We do not have 18-40 year olds on the streets without jobs. One of my doctors
is Muslim and I think she is the most wonderful woman. I get no sense that she
            hates Americans.

In Europe the muslim immigrants live off the public dole for the most part. They
are the ones that would be most likely to incite riots and civil unrest.

            • Nukeman60

Did you read my links? They are very telling.

Two things are possible. One, your area mosque is one of those 15-19% that don’t profess the violent nature of the jihad, or two, you aren’t aware of their intentions.

Either way, I agree that Europe is more at danger, but just because a group is a small portion of the community doesn’t mean they aren’t a threat.

              It’s wise to be alert.

              • Amjean

I agree that it is wise to be alert. However, many Americans are clued into the
fact that our federal government is full of socialists and muslim sympathisers.
Our local police will be somewhat ineffective in the event of any local attacks.

That is why it is important for citizens to own guns, train on how to use them and
purchase enough ammunition to defend yourself.

For in the end, it is the citizens, not the government, who will be left to defend
                our great nation.

        • tvlgds

I expect it to get really bad here continue for a few mos. so that Obummer can declare martial law and suspend the elections.

          • p m

Yes. It’s all about the election. These ME events are mere distractions for him. So much so that he tweeted this today:

Stories Media Will Never Report: President’s Tweet as Four Caskets Removed From Planes

Winter is coming, but these sweatshirts are perfect for fall: OFA.BO/rj5Tns
            — Barack Obama (@BarackObama) September 14, 2012

            • I wonder if Obama got a chance too squeeze in nine holes after the “ceremony” today.

Are we in bizarro land with this guy, or what?

            • Amjean

I despise Obama as much as the next person, however, it was probably one of
Obama’s campaign staff who tweeted that. Obama always ends his personal tweets
              with a “BO” after it.

      • johnos2112

I was thinking the same thing. Going to a ballgame is out of the question for me!! Call me a conspiracy theorist but tensions are rising and in Northern California where I live, there are quite a few Muslims living around here. This could get very ugly very soon!

        • 4Hoppes2

I have been periodically looking for activity out of Dearbornistan. The Islamists have been incrementally inciting incidents for a while.

          • I was just thinking the same. Deerbornistan, Murfreesborough Tenn, Virginia, and yay, the Pastor Terry which had nothing to do with this, yet who is getting the blame, lives in my backyard. I’m staying put this weekend except for church on Sunday.

            • 4Hoppes2

I will also be in church this weekend praying for Divine Mercy.

      • Army_Pilot1967

Mike, I just hope you’re wrong about that. Guess we’ll find out soon enough.

        • Note to self: buy more ammo.

  • cheezwhizz

“The State Department has stood up a 24-hr monitoring team to insure appropriate coordination of information and our response.
    Translation :
The State Department employees are watching Al Jazeera, Russia Today , Xinhua and Hamas TV to list all the jihadi talking points,
which will then be passed on to Axelrod for extensive transmission by the Mean Stream Media and trolls . Until such time as Romney’s tax returns are leaked .

  • Spartan4Palin

What is unfolding right now is both infuriating and scary as hell. When they show the maps of the countries protesting. It is maddening to watch. I fear for all of our military and government and NGO’s right now.

But I gotta say this. Watching that ceremony awhile ago. Hillary looked as though the ceiling is about to come down on her? There are things that will probably come out that no one will believe could’ve happened. If this embassy issue had stayed centered on the American embassies, then the stories coming out would not be hurting her or the administration as much? It would have been relegated to just the American press. A chaotic crisis within their control. But now that other countries are involved. The international press has no obligations to cover this adminstrations rear flank. These people really thought that their platitudes and handouts to these barbarians would give them seperation from any violence. An allegiance based on a bribe.

She truly looked as though she must ponder resigning? And if this comes down solely on her shoulders, you can bet Bill will not sit still for it! I suspect that the two camps are getting ready for an internal war?

I have to agree with Glenn and Rush on this. I would not put past Obama to give up the ‘Blind Sheik’ in order to calm them down. Peace through Appeasement.

    • MiketheMarine

The Clintoons are a damned couple. 09/11/01 rests squarely on Bills shoulders as he chose not to pul the trigger on UBL when he had the opportunity.

      • 4Hoppes2

You are doggone right and never, not once did President Bush ever try to shirk his responsibility to the nation by blaming his predecessor.

        • A very good point, sir.

      • tvlgds

Absolutely. Monsoor Ijaz brokered 3 separate deals with the Sudan to get bin laden, and that admin decided he wasn’t a threat!

      • johnos2112

That is why Clinton got pissed off at Wallace during an interview. Remember that? Guilty as charged!

    • NJK

Remember Huma Abedeen and Rashad Hussain, both with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood work for Clinton and Obama.

They don’t deserve anyones sympathy, they deserve nothing but revulsion. I wish them nothing but hell on earth. Too bad it wasn’t her or Obama dragged through the streets. Or maybe the military hierarchy who allow soldiers to be sent over to protect our interests with no ammunition. How dare they? How in the heck do you do this to someones loved one? How do you do this? Only evil would do that. These people should be given no sympathy by anyone.

    • p m

Did you spot the very large posters of the ‘blind sheikh’ on the Cairo streets during Fox’s report earlier? The same report that said Morsi is co-operating with zero but at the same time setting up his followers in Tahrir Square for more protests, so-called.

  • WordsFailMe

“Hey Yup Mrs. Clinton, There killing your soldiers below.”

  • Better late than never I guess. God help them.

    • Nukeman60

Yeah, but once again, leading from behind.

God protect our troops overseas and all embassy workers around the world. These goons don’t care whether it’s American, British or even German embassies. Just find the closest one and riot. It’s insane.

This is all fortold, but it’s still hard to watch it formulating.

      • tvlgds

They’re already protesting at OUR embassies in Germany and the UK.

      • “This is all fortold, but it’s still hard to watch it formulating.” This is what I’ve been saying and thinking too Nukefriend.

  • odin147

Full blown crisis mode, does anyone remember that the canadians removed thier diplomatic core several weeks ago. What about this administration, why were they there in the first place, the ambassador should have been called off, and the embassy closed days ago, along with the Canadians. So much for the policy of outreach, apology and appeasement, did not really work, did it Mr. President ?. Now the scum are trying to blame the video, this is like blaming the recession and MR.Bush for the anemic economy. Hide the truth and show the lie.

  • Susitna

To me Hillary is toast. She can forget about her plans for 2016. Someone has to explain her the term Taqiyya. How ridiculous to think that her Clintonian way to lie and manipulate was going to work in the Muslim World. Her “leading” from behind opened the front doors of U.S. Embassies to the enemy and now she is openly disappointed: “We helped them to remove Gaddafi from office and now they are killing us……buh..buh…The U.S. government was not involved in the production of the video…….buh…buh…
I was only waiting for her to say: We didn’t build that!

She didn’t attend the Democratic Convention not to be related to Obama, but the truth is that both are one and the same “dealers from behind” with Poker Faces.

    • MiketheMarine

Although, it appears her poker face is melting off. She is one butt ugly woman.

      • WordsFailMe

Is that set of multiple breasts like a hog that gags me. Obama probably feels right at home!

Mike I’m going to look at a Yugo SKS 7.62×31 carbine. Got couple of thirty-aught’s, pistols but I want something for neighborhood use, stop a car engine, penetrate masonry, semi auto for suppression- any experience?

        • MiketheMarine

Yes, I owned an SKS once upon a time. Some of them have no firing pin spring but you can buy a conversion kit to fix that. Nice weapon. Well balanced but definately get the new firing pin with spring. I never had mine misfire but have heard of that happening if you hit the stock too hard. Wouldn’t want any misfires around the family.

          • WordsFailMe

Good stuff Mike. I knew you were the man to go to! I’ll be really thorough on the firing pin.

        • What is it with you and female frontal areas Words! lol! First Valeries, now Hillary’s?! QUIT IT!!!!

      • puma_for_life

I think she is a sellout, but interesting that you choose to comment on her appearance as a woman; haven’t heard you comment on a man’s physical appearance. These types of comments degrade the seriousness of what you say. Are you a sexist?

    • NJK

Saul Alinsky disciples, both of them. Evil, both of them.

    • poljunkie

Yep, my husband just walked in and said, well Hilary isnt going to be able to run in 2016 now. This is going to be pinned on her like a letter home on a Kindergardener.

  • NJK

I wish I could feel as noble as you. This is what happens when people know bad things are going on, can stop them, and don’t. I wish Hillary Clinton absolute hell on earth. Our military hierarchy have had to know for a long time, that these people running this country are dangerous and acting outside of America’s interest, yet they remained silent, and just followed along.

They are all to blame. Unfortuneatly it’s the military underlings who always pay the price. Hillary Clinton is a monster.

As for me, I won’t look at these coffins being brought into this country. Obama and Clinton care about themselves. You send people over there with no ammunition, yet the military hierarchy allows that to go on, they say nothing? These are peoples children, husbands and fathers, for God’s sake. They can all rot in hell! Sorry.

    • valerie jarrett has secret service protection.

      • NJK

Don’t be sorry, NJK. They deserve our scorn.

  • conservative58

    God Bless our troops!

  • There are few things that an Islamic mob does not understand like the business end of about 100 heavily-armed Marines. We should be increasing security everywhere in the Middle East until this mess is over. Seeing a bunch of Marines manning the walls of our embassies should discourage the Islamic mobs, or at least slow them down A LOT. Now we’ll see how good our “friends” are in that part of the world.

  • WordsFailMe

I guess if your a democrat, you can look on the bright side.

    • Thanks for the warning. I won’t go there- but yeah, the stats are right about the dead.

  • GetWhatYouPayFor

Who is in charge of calling Obama back from the golf course? Valerie Jarrett?

    • NJK

I think her and Ayers are the real Presidents.

  • johnos2112

BTW get ready for gas prices to explode along with everything else! Folks excrement is gonna hit the fan! I hope I am wrong.

  • GetWhatYouPayFor

Why does Obama not want to be seen with Netanyahu? Is Iran ready? Why is “President votes present” not attending security briefings? So he can claim not present? Has Iran provided a dirty bomb or two to the wrong people? If so, are they here or in Israel? The Brits say America has been warned. The Obama media control apparently doesn’t reach over seas. I don’t like the sequence of events.

    • keninil

But he hasn’t been present at security briefings — he has only told Jay Carney that (and everyone knows how reliable stuff coming out of Jay Carney is !! )

  • Sober_Thinking

We can only hope they will deal with this threat in a truthful and strong manner… but they’ve been so incompetent for so long, that I doubt any of them has the ability or desire to behave responsibly. I hope I’m wrong and that no more American lives are lost over this.

The Lord is in control… God help our military and our folks serving overseas.

Wouldn’t it be nice if the clown-and-chief stopped campaigning for a moment and simply did his job? Maybe just sit through one intel briefing? Just one you poser?

  • RonPaulSupporter2

    A few random thoughts…

    1. Maybe it’s time to seriously address our foreign policy and the “blowback” it causes as identified by the CIA.

    2. We should permanently cut off all monetary aid to any of the countries identified in these attacks on our embassies. Personally, I believe all foreign aid is unconstitutional but I would make an exception for cases like the earthquake in Haiti.

    3. A resolution should be brought to the floor of the house and then the senate to authorize military force against the governments that support or do little or nothing to prevent these kinds of attacks on US Embassies over seas. Not exactly sure what should be done and by what means but something should be done to send a message to these middle east governments that this type of hostility will not be tolerated. Obviously a “finger wagging” is not enough but an all out full blown attack is probably going too far. I can probably predict what would happen in the house and senate but I think the resolutions should be brought up anyway. I think almost every democrat will vote it down (for political reasons only because of the upcoming election), some republicans will vote for it and some won’t so it won’t go anywhere. I’d love to see Romney support some kind of military action but I don’t think he would either. Barack is a lost cause. Most of the current problems in the middle east have his fingerprints all over them.

    4. We should probably look to remove the embassies of the countries that attack us from US soil. If they want diplomatic relations with the US, then prove it, otherwise, leave the country now.

    • Except with the first point, I agree.

      • RonPaulSupporter2

Well, blowback is an issue that I believe needs to be (at least) discussed. I know probably 99% of the people on this blog probably don’t agree with me but I do think that the CIA has a point. I would love to see the house and senate hold hearings (if they haven’t already done so) with the appropriate people at the CIA to better understand what they’re saying and why they say it.

        All the best to you.

        • PapaLouie

Unfortunately, it’s too late to address “blowback” in any significant way. If we abandoned Israel and left the Middle East completely alone, most Muslims would still seek our destruction. Even if there was no other reason, they would seek revenge for the Crusades of a 1000 years ago. They were able to conquer Jerusalem, Egypt, and many other countries. But they hold the West responsible for preventing them from taking over Europe. If they can hold a grudge for a thousand years, what makes you think they’ll quickly forget about our involvement in Iraq or Afghanistan, or what we did to their hero bin Laden?

So, if we retreat from the Middle East because of protests or other pressures, it will be taken as a sign of weakness and cowardice. Our being absent from the area will attract more attacks on Americans, not just because of our perceived weakness, but because we will no longer be in a position to seek justice against those who plan the attacks against us. And don’t forget, they still see it as their duty to spread Islam throughout the world by persuasion or by the sword. How hard is this to understand?

          • p m

Right – there’s a reason the US is referred to as the ‘Great Satan’ and Israel as ‘Little Satan’.

With-holding funds from these scum is of paramount importance, no question. Let ’em see what happens then.

          • RonPaulSupporter2

Then from my perspective, these wars will never end. The loss of life in and the cost of these wars are going to continue to mount. We don’t have the money to fight them and I don’t think the citizens of these United States are willing to continue to support politicians that support these endless wars. We already borrow almost 40 cents of every dollar we spend in this country. Military spending (notice I said “military” spending, not “defense” spending) is the third largest expense behind HHS and Social Security. We’re going to go deeper and deeper in debt for every year these wars go on. The implications down the road for a major economic collapse are only accelerated by the war spending. When will it be enough? When will it end? How many more lives need to be lost? How much more money needs to be spent? We have to ask ourselves these questions and really (I mean really) take a hard, honest look at our foreign policy as assess it from with these questions in mind.

            • PapaLouie

You make some good points, RPS2. The cost of policing the world is too high for us to afford any more. But we still need to protect our own interests. We can’t just bring the troops home and hide under our beds hoping the world will leave us alone. But we can be smart about it. Keep a few easy-to-defend bases in key locations around the world that can be used when needed. Then get rid of the rest. That would save tons. Then use more technology to gather intelligence and protect our interests abroad. Instead of putting an armada of drones over America to spy on citizens, use them against our enemies. Put an armed drone over every consulate, at least on 9/11. Then target anyone who attempts to climb the fence or opens fire on the consulate.

“When will it end?” When we’re in the grave. Otherwise, we can achieve a relative peace, but only through strength. Running away from war, or trying to appease it, only encourages it to follow you home.

“How many more lives need to be lost?” All young deaths are regrettable. But we need to have some perspective. As bad as it is to have 600 combat deaths per year due to the war on terror, compare that to the 600 deaths a day during the Civil war when we had 10% of the current population. People today don’t know what a real war is like. At least soldiers die for a purpose. There are 10,000 who die each year at the hands of drunk drivers in this country. Many of them are children. They die for no purpose and their deaths are preventable. Why are those deaths ignored? Why can’t we reduce those deaths down to at least one or two a day to match military deaths?

              • p m

That’s a most impressive post, papalouie. Thank you.

        • The only “blowback” that matters is what those medievalist, jihadis have coming to them.

And it won’t be “back” so much as “through.”

Any other concern about blowback can go straight in the round file, as far as I’m concerned.

      • toongoon

I agree with you ABC. Every government entity has been corrupted during obama’s reign of terror on the US. We cannot put any faith in them because for every transparent action they do that appears good will be undercut by three or four secret deals. Everything with this administration is political.

Can we say her and the Emperor have no clothes now? Do we have to still keep pretending we see beautiful threads? Do we still have to say, “He’s a nice guy?”

  • wodiej

I’m so glad they decided to finally do their job. Unfortunately, for the people who died including one of our US Ambassadors, it’s too little too late. This could have been avoided if the State dept. had been alert and had the US interests well protected and armed especially since the anniversary of 9/11 was coming up. Or maybe that is why they didn’t.

  • PhillyCon

When I think of how that US ambassador was killed, I truly want to cry. I don’t even think these soulless people (Obama and Hilary) even care about the torture that was inflicted upon him.

    • Betsey_Ross

I did cry briefly. The reason is that these Democrats have no morals or conscience. They cry about hating war but are totally niave about why it sometimes has to be. There is no leadership in the Democrat Party. Absolutely none. None of them should not be in any position of power. They have no moral compass and no principles. They are not fit to govern anything.

  • texasgirl46

They brought this crap on their selves…..I feel nothing for them except disgust…

  • 1217Chic
  • Seriously, feel sorry for them? As thought this was all a big coincidence. As thought this was because of a movie!

  • From a Der Spiegel article published in 2005 (An Islamic Caliphate in Seven Steps)

*The Fourth Phase Between 2010 and 2013, Hussein writes that al-Qaida will aim to bring about the collapse of the hated Arabic governments. The estimate is that “the creeping loss of the regimes’ power will lead to a steady growth in strength within al-Qaida.” At the same time attacks will be carried out against oil suppliers and the US economy will be targeted using cyber terrorism.

*The Fifth Phase This will be the point at which an Islamic state, or caliphate, can be declared. The plan is that by this time, between 2013 and 2016, Western influence in the Islamic world will be so reduced and Israel weakened so much, that resistance will not be feared. Al-Qaida hopes that by then the Islamic state will be able to bring about a new world order.

Syria is the key and when the gay US generals come out of the commie closet, wearing nothing but their Obama t-shirts and spouting , “God, Mother and Country,” and the S*** will hit the fan with Russia and China.

Saber rattling for World War III is the only October surprise that can save the Communist revolution in the USA.

Words, I’ve been pondering this for a few days:

I was and am disgusted and horrified by the murder of Ambassador Stevens and his staff. But on the day after his death, I was on a blog where there was no sympathy at all for his fate. It was kinda surprising, given the moment.

Then I read further. He was zero’s main liaison during the Libyan ‘revolution’. He was zero’s bagman, funding the MB rebels, and the MB-fronted Al Qaeda. Seeing that makes me wonder about that leak re the location of the ‘safe’ house. Was he set up to hide the money trail? If so, by whom? MB or the zero administration? Is there a difference? And is the timing of his murder, and the aftermath, calculated by his handlers to benefit him in November?
Any thoughts? Just another conspiracy theory?

      • Patriot077

That was a real eye opener, pm. Having heard about the data that has “gone missing” (lists of people working with them, all the safe house addresses), I had the feeling it was not random nor unintended. He is probably “collateral damage” to the orchestrated chaos. I believe it has been in the works since day one. Remember the many millions given to Hamas right after Zero took office – we were assured it was for Hamas refugees here in the states (huh?) – seems like it was $800m.

You’re right that QE 3 sailed by without much notice.

        • p m

Thanks patriot, it is odd, isn’t it? What got me thinking is that no-one knows how much funding the so-called rebels got from zero, so it was of interest that the one guy who did know is now dead. Plus the committment to engaging in that war without reference to the only authorizing body, the Congress. The funds for Gaza and the arabs in Israel were public knowledge, no matter how deplorable. These are things that will become known if Romney’s elected, maybe via leaks if not overtly, which explains zero’s desperation to get re-elected. Scary stuff, regardless.

          • Patriot077

I would love to hear someone remind the public that the decision to go into Libya in the first place was made without the approval of congress. But that will never happen.

      • WordsFailMe

        PM Thank you–

The ambassador was expendable and unlike Holder and Sibelius, he had no more value to the cause. His dramatic murder, wher all the details conveniently leak out, while the WH pretends to try to “hide” them, merely serve to make the murder more dramatic.

The more dramatic and desperate the situation’s appearance becomes, the less criticism Obama will get when he suddenly stands up like a cobra and defends America. That is, as the situation worsens, people tend to rally behind the guy that looks like he has a plan.

This whole embassy/Middle East crisis is scam by a group intent on turning the US into a tyranny and handing it’s citizen over to communism. It’s an illusion and we must keep watching the other hand. It’s Hitler and the burning of the Reichstag so that the communists could be blamed and Hitler could look justified end stopping free speech travel. Spielberg and Lucas are likely involved in this and if Al Pacino doesn’t weigh in soon, I’ll be surprised. The tail is wagging our dog in this fight.

PM Look I am just speculating. I have no access to any secret information. but I’d rather look like a fool and see Obama defeated than be a fool and see Obama prevail.

From what I have seen about the liberal power over the media to create lies that instantly become TRUTH scares the shit out of me and when I get scared I get busy. There is no shame in being afraid. The shame is lying down because you think you’ve been defeated. In combat, when survival and destruction are 50-50, “There is ALWAYS one more thing you can do.”

You and I are involve in the first stage of this war. we are in the right place at the right time. The next stage will be infinitely more challenging.

        • p m

Thanks, Words. Agree about the usefulness versus disposability of these people being the arbiter. The so-called media is merely manipulation by the propaganda machine that pervades the West. It’s an evil enabled by not educating our children about our own civilization and history, and not teaching them to think for themselves, but rather just to go along with moral relativism. Your reference to the hollywood cabal is spot on. So, the fight continues. Take care!

      • NJK

        p m,
Thanks for the article. I always had a wish that the media would be the victims of the monster they helped to create. I still hope that happens.

  • toongoon

I pull for Americans. The administration created this mess, doubled down on it, the media covers for them by placing blame where shouldn’t be placed as a distraction, and I don’t think they have the brains or the willingness to fix it. It might time our military took over.

  • Orangeone

From behind again. O’Bambi has caused this crisis intentionally to avoid discussion of his failed policies, his loss of support from voters and the neverending unemployment. He is desparate to cancel our election or win support for re-election at any cost, as long as he doesn’t pay the piper.

And when one of his appointed generals blames our Freedom of Speech given to us as a right in the US Constitution for the islamic terrorist actions, it causes great pause for his ability to protect our men and women in uniform, let alone citizens here at home.

  • anyonebutbarry2012

Did anyone catch the very beginning of Hillary and Obama’s speech at Andrews. It aired on FOX? It sounded like an open mic at first, Hillary being very stern with him, then after they both spoke, the first thing they did was to shake each other’s hand. What was said? Wasn’t that handshake a curious thing?

  • hongryhawg

I really don’t like to play the role of the cynic, but this entire episode is so orchestrated. Not everything, of course. I’m not implying the plan was for American lives to be lost. But I do believe the plan was for turmoil. And these “experts” can come lately all they want, but we have the best intelligence organizations in the world and you will never convince me that Mr. Hillary Clinton and miss obama never saw it coming. It’s liberals and muslims working together. Who knows what they can accomplish?

    • actionsspeaklouder

Just like Fast & Furious – they didn’t “plan” it well enough and lives WERE lost. This administration is the absolute worst ever. Glaringly incompetent and NOT on America’s side.

  • Nero watches, plays golf, campaigns, has State dinners, tweets and laughs, and pretends all’s well in the world (for him), as Rome burns..

The US President, whom the voters elected in 2008, whose sole goal, agenda, intent, and purpose is to see America in ashes and ruin, is succeeding.. Not even hollywood can make this up..

Unfortunately, this is not a movie, nor a game.. This is reality, and nothing to laugh at..

And while Hillary is trying to put out the flames, for which she helped to start and inflame, is the epic paradoxical moment in her career.. all of which is at an enormous cost to America and American lives, let alone US National Security, as well as Israel’s Security.

Can we be seeing anything more horrific.. This is far worse than the Iranian hostage crisis of 1979-1980.. But at least we had Ronald Reagan to the rescue.. Romney is no Ronald Reagan.. but at least he is not Obama..

America is truly at a historical crisis tipping point.. What should be done, and what will be done are 2 different things- this is the problem.. What can we do to stop not only the islamist extremists, but our own President, who is determined to destroy America internally and externally America, as well as the whole of the western free world, let alone see the destruction of Israel wiped off the map by the hate mongering radical arab islamist world.

Hitler’s Nazi Germany, Imperial Japan, Fascist Italy and WWII will be mole hills compared to what may happen is this spirals out of control, especially with Iran just on the verge of nuclear weapons attainment.

I have to say, as much as I loathe and disdain Obama and the regime/administration, I am in absolute support of Hillary’s current, but all to late attempts, to contain this crisis mode situation. But how can Hillary keep up with the flames, when it’s Obama doing the bomb throwing, then laughs as he watches her try to put out the flames. Obama is truly Nero, who will historically ironically inevitably blame the Christians/Conservatives..

This is the first time in US post WWII US history, that we all had better start praying for America.

  • DCGere

Prayers for our military & personnel. They are in grave danger under this admin.

  • MsContrary

SOS (how appropriate an acronym in this current crisis) Clinton is responsible for this mess, as much, IF not more so than our President of Entertainment of the United States (POETUS).

  • Huntsman is right. Romney’s attacks on Obama were way out of line on this.

    • The truth is never out-of-line. Obama is the worst foreign policy president in US history. It’s not possible to “attack” him enough to harm him any more than his own screwups have.

    • Yeah right–we all know that Obama should be above being criticized. I guess this is only because of his color.

    • kong1967

Oh, that’s right. I’m shocked that Romney even had the gull to run against Obama. It shows such arrogance to think he can beat the king.

There goes another crisis for the regime to take advantage of. I can’t believe they blame it on a stupid video no one’s seen when it occured on 9/11. Hey Dem’s! 9/11! Get it?

    • rich wojcik

it is a fact that it was coordinated by several muslim organizations….it has hapened
in several countries, a celebration of their 9/11 “victory”. Remember their “joy dances” in the streets???

  • rich wojcik

AFTER our ambassador was sodomized, tortured, suffocated and paraded dead in the streets, Hitlary, in her arrogance, told us that “they (mob) were taking him to a hospital”.
    BTW –
she is DemocRatic party candidate for 2016………God help USA.

  • GiantM

Wow…Hillary looks ghostly! Does she not?

    • actionsspeaklouder

I’ll bet Bill is looking worse than that – 2016 for “Hill” out the window.

  • SKL53

It is HILLARY’S job to keep American Embassy’s and our Embassadors safe around the world! They send protection with Valerie Jarret when she goes on vacation and to daughter’s wedding, but fail to protect our diplomats overseas! Then has the audacity and arrogance to think we are stupid by blaming a movie rather than taking responsibility for her blunder! The Obama administration was tipped off to this attack yet did nothing! Hillary should call it a day!!!!

  • It appears to be a crisis to the State department and this administration more so than to the nation. At least from what I’ve seen. They seem to be more concerned about their continuation of power.

  • bjohnson55

You are doing a great job there Hillary. Makes me wonder who is under that desk you are sitting at and what they are doing under there that is soooooo distracting. Kind of runs in the family, huh.

    • kong1967

I don’t like her, but at least she’s working. Where’s Obama? On the 18th hole or the next fund raiser?

      • bjohnson55

True that, but if she had a thread of credibility she would tell our Muslim Kenyan in Chief to shove the job.

        • kong1967

I don’t think either of the Clinton’s like Obama. The job’s for her, for her future run as President. Good experience under her belt. She’s not going to tell him to stick it.

  • bjohnson55

There is a padded room with this nutball’s name on it just waiting for him.

  • kong1967

If we’re looking for an appropriate response I fear we’re wasting our time. This is the worst President to have in power right now. As far as I’m concerned he’s one of them. He was a muslim as a child and I’ve never heard of any kind of renouncement of his faith. I’ve never seen him with a Bible or even go to church. It is a death sentence to renounce Islamic faith, yet the muslims don’t call for his death. Why? Because they are star struck like Matthews? I don’t think so. I think they believe he’s still muslim, too.

  • aposematic

Hillary sets up 24 hour propaganda bureau to squelch any possible truth; dead Consolate workers not so much as a security detail.
