State Department to Obama: Egypt is our Ally

It’s not like they wanted to say it, but they couldn’t help but acknowledge the obvious:

Obama deserves our new Empty Chair Award:

    Dear Obama,
This treasonous idiot said that those that just murdered Americans are our ally. They haven’t been since the days of Thomas Jefferson, but we arrogant, pompous asses, who set the world on fire, know they are our allies now. I CAN’T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!!

    • Rshill7

The murders happened in Libya friend. You are confusing Libya with Egypt. With all due respect 🙂

Jefferson was dealing with Tripoli, (the Barbary Wars) not Cairo, and this person refers to Egypt (Cairo), not Tripoli (Libya).

  • MiketheMarine

Time to try that treasonous bastard, maobama.

    • Not happening

      • marketcomp

        Please allow me to indulge!

      • bobemakk

If Obama was a republican it would be a guarantee that he would be imprisoned. But NO, the dummycrats control everything. WAKE UP USA, Obama must go.

  • MiketheMarine

Maybe Maobama needs to be Baker Acted and committed to discover what his mental deficiency is. Does he have an actual, undiagnosed mental deficiency?

    • NJK

The 25th Amendment allows for his removal under mental illness. I think it’s pretty safe to say, he’s not normal.

      • He has a low iq

      • p m

Sociopath, anyone? The numbers of dead that can be laid at his door is on the rise.

        • Joe

      • How about hate for America? Anything in the 25th Amendment about that? I would think a Presidential qualification would be that you love your country.

    • Blatant Stupidity is not a mental illness. Unfortunately and that is despite the fact that his stupidity is reaching window licker status.

  • …and not a word from the MSM who are too busy putting on their kneepads for this president. The man is utterly clueless in foreign affairs.

    • Rshill7

Obama is on his knees already. The press are using elbow pads.

    • Army_Pilot1967

Joel, I don’t think nobama is clueless in foreign affaris….I’d say his loyalties are terribly skewed to the other side. I don’t think he’s overly fond of the United States, so how can he be president and not love this country????? He’s interested in dismantling it and he can direct the destruction as president. He’s getting a lot of help from all the liberals in Congress.

REPORTS: No Live Ammo for Marines

Marine blogs say U.S. embassy did not authorize service members to carry ammo

  • Guest1776rcp

Egypt is our ally about as much as Iraq and Afghanistan are, which is not so much at all and within a few years not at all.

    • steprock

And yet, up until recently, it was safe to travel to Cairo. Stand by while a useful brute is deposed and chaos reigns.

Experienced politicians realize it’s better to deal with a devil you know and get some degree of cooperation and stability out of it.

      • Guest1776rcp

The purple thumbs in Iraq caught on just as Bush hoped the idea of democracy in the ME would. Now we suffer the consequences. To pretend Bush’s dusting off of Carter’s failed policy had nothing to do with Egypt, that would be silly. Go back and read Bush speeches.

    • Cindy09

The Egypt of Mubarak was our ally. For one thing, he kept the peace treaty between his country and Israel at the forefront. The new government in Egypt is in another league but we need someone that does not bow to the Middle East to come up with a clear plan about what to do. They should only remain an ally if they work with us, not against us or against Israel.

      • Guest1776rcp

Correct, Mubarak was an ally but the previous administration was touting this terrible idea that democracy in the ME would be a good thing. The idea caught on and Egypt is a consequence. Obama took Bush’s idea to its logical conclusion in Libya. Bush is the one who dusted off that failed idea of Carter’s. We can no longer afford nation building or building democracy in the ME. Its literally blowing up our debt and blowing up in our faces.

  • Hahaha. She looked as comfortable during that Q&A as a person having a colonoscopy. Empty Chair Award it is!

  • mder4thegov

The smartest, most brilliant president in history, didn’t know Egypt was our ally.
I hope Sarah Palin is having a nice laugh.

  • Nukeman60

These people are not my allies, there’s no doubt about that and I don’t have to take a poll to say it. Obama, on the other hand, has to ask what his audience is before he makes a comment (Are they our ally, are they not our ally, oh, they are our ally, okay.)

It must be awfully tough for Obama to keep track of all the things he’s said in the past, so that he doesn’t contradict what he’s previously said. Perhaps, he should create a video Czar to keep record of all his words and feed them back to his speech writers.

I would just like a Commander-in-chief to be a Commander-in-chief and care about our great armed forces and not just be an idiot-in-chief and golfer-in-chief.

I can see November from my front porch.

  • poljunkie

Right on Scoop. We should all put our chairs back outside.

  • PapaLouie

The Obama Admin is backtracking again? I guess that’s what happens when you shoot off your mouth before aiming your brain.

  • stage9

So…really, what this boils down to is that Obama hasn’t got the slightest clue who our allies are or what the heck he’s doing in regard to foreign policy?

I guess his missing all of those intelligence briefings is really starting to show isn’t it?

  • It was a dumb thing to say and I say we EXPLOIT the hell out of it ,but for once Obama is right Egypt is NOT our ally

    • He’s right in the same way a broken clock is right though… he fluked it!

  • proudhispanicconservative

Lmao scoop you are awesome. And congrats for being recognized all over on exposing the media.

  • LMAO! These people are at odds with each other too. Morons.

  • Obama woke up this morning very mad about the killings in Libya. He realized that he just lost 4 votes and to make matters worse, 2 of them lived in swing states.

  • marketcomp

So an ally breaches a US embassy? There is a mixed message here just like the rest of the administration and the State department. Romney needs to point out the many inconsistancies just within the last 24 hours of this mess starting with messaging, blaming, and woffling.

  • The MSM will cover Obama no matter what this Psycho Adm comes out with…Jekyll then Hyde….who knows! WE MUST VOTE…turn out matters….please talk to friends and associates. That is how we must defeat this man. The MSM will never cover the ups and downs, misstatements, lies, contradictions, fantasies and BS from this Administration. They act like it is just every day happenings!! We must get out in communities all around where we each live and spread the word.

  • Joe

We are glad you are here –

    “Where everybody knows your name”

  • JohnBarry2012

“He shoots before he aims.” So, Obama’s own amateurish foreign policy comes back to bite him in the butt.

  • MaroonRepublic

Remember, the narrative is that Obama is so wise, he doesn’t have to attend his foreign policy briefings. He can just read them and magic happens.

  • E. Lee Zimmerman

This has really grown even more distasteful with each passing comment from the Odministration. Granted, in a legal context, “ally” has a very specific meaning, but the Boy King and his minions are parsing hair pretty thin these days.

  • steprock

Note: an experience politician knows these things and carefully weighs their words. They realize that saying things makes a difference in the world.

    On the job training sucks.

  • Cindy09

Can that reporter just shut up after a few seconds? He goes on and on and on with his “major ally” for a whole minute. He sure does not allow for the State Department to give a clear answer! Jeeze!!

    • I think he was trying to make sure she didn’t just fob and dodge the question. He did get an answer in the end. One that makes Dumbo look even dumber then he did yesterday… And I thought he couldn’t get dumber!

      • Cindy09

I guess what made me frustrated was when he kept talking over her at the 36 and 57 seconds marks. I would have loved it if he would allow her to trip overself her even more. If I remember she was the person who was tripping over the question of Jerusalem being the capital of Israel.

Boy, Oh Boy!!! Come to think of it, this is the same reporter that tripped her in both instances. Waow!! I got to say he is very very good though!

        • Oh I see your point now… Good point! He is good… Now he needs to ask NObama a few questions! 😉

  • Coming from the same regime that expressed shock and astonishment that Libyans would murder an American politician, this is incredibly stupid. The demonic book that produced muslims states quite clearly that they are given a free pass to lie to non-muslims, in order to lull them into a false sense of security, or at least get close enough to them, to cut their throats.

Egyptians are no different from any other bloodthirsty, vicious koranimal: they elected a known terrorist group as their government, just like they did in “Palestine”. Syrians are no different from Iranians…

…Iranians are no different from Afghans.

Israel is supposed to be an ally, which means their enemies are ours, and vice versa. Egypt is, by default, an enemy of all Americans, because they are a declared enemy of all Israels.

In spite of all this, Obama continues to coddle them, saying he condemns attempts to denigrate their false, Devil-worshiping religion…

…and is still Hell-bent on giving these unwashed, stinking animals WEAPONS with which they can murder Jews.

Egypt is no more an ally of America, than Turkey, or Venezuela. Anyone that regards any muslim country as anything other than a deadly enemy that is intent on taking us to Hell, with them, is a fool. In neither WILLARD, nor Obama, do we have someone that’s willing to look across the table at a muslim scumbag and yell “μολὼν λαβέ/molṑn labé“, and this election is not making me feel any easier. We are ruled by fools. Fools that send in the Marines, only to take away their weapons, and that’s only after sending in the civilians, without any protection from unarmed Marines. We have an inexperienced, service dodger, vs an inexperienced America-hating service dodger that has even offered to kill Jews, to protect his muslim brothers.

“I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.” page 261, paperback edition of “The Audacity of Hope.

Until we get a hard core, uncompromising American for a president, one that isn’t afraid to have his own shoe-banging incident at the UN, we’re going to be easy pickings for these raghead dictators, and you’ll take your life in your hands, just by being an American and admitting you’re one.

  • Sober_Thinking

ROFL! She’d rather be anywhere else then at this briefing… LOVE IT!!!

I don’t know who is asking the question but way to pin her down and admit that the bungler-and-chief was wrong… since he won’t admit it.

I wonder if she’s still employed. The bonehead that issued the apology to Libya is, and what he said was nearly treasonous.

This Government is a circus and the clowns aren’t funny.

  • SaraPFan

Since there was an empty chair at the Intel breifings, Obama does deserve that Empty Chair Award

  • AlabamaPatriot2

    Whose ally? Ours?

    I don’t think so.

An ally is someone we can trust.

  • DebbyX

The Empty Chair Award, I love it!

My own empty chair is still out there, only today I found a nice big rock and sat it down all nice and comfy on my front lawn. My only hope is that for the few cars that do pass by, they find the significance in it.

  • Who cares about a chair? I’d give him this award.

  • chatterbox365

This whole thing is nothing but a big cluster f*ck.

  • KenInMontana

Governments are allies, likewise Governments can be enemies. People can go either way and can often take the polar opposite position of their Government.

  • bobemakk

This is undebatable. They have a new “Muslim brotherhood” president who loves Islam….stop all aid to them and other countries that hate US NOW!!!
